Chained Soldier (Season 1): Power-Ups, Team Dynamics, and Fan Service Discourse

So first off , understanding , I was very confused at first trying to first watch this . Wasn't entirely sure what it was that I was going to be watching and what I mean by that is it's called Chained Soldier in English . So I was like , hey , this seems pretty interesting .

And you look at the cover and it shows a girl riding a giant monster and I'm oh okay , this is a pet anime . So I'm like you know , you got a little pet and she's a soldier . I'm like gotcha makes some sense . I think I'm gonna go ahead and roll into this . I had no idea what the japanese name for it was .

Now , I should have actually looked that up first before watching into this . Would not have been that surprised . First off , the intro on every single episode is pretty much the same . So once you watch it the first time , you can kind of skip it on every other episode for the rest of the season .

So right now I'm just going to be going through a quick review onto season one . It was a very interesting anime , one that I do encourage . Watching is not everything that you may think . That it is per se is not so much of that .

There is fan service into anime but it does heavily focus more on the story and the fan service is just kind of splashed in there like , in all honesty is not necessarily necessary , just kind of there . So season one we wind up getting into our story between our two main characters , yuki and kyoka .

So , first off , an understanding into this is that the intro introduction immediately starts off showing what happened with yuki and what happened with kyoka , where yuki , when he was a kid , his sister , wound up disappearing into the demon realm known as mato , where there's a bunch of demons that they just call shuki .

They're just giant , sometimes a really big monsters that just destroy shit and , I'm assuming , eat people . In anime you don't really see them do that . Uh , so far they've all . The people are always successful in being saved from what we've seen , but there is that understanding that not everybody has been saved and not everybody can be .

But so far for season one is that . Understand , as far as we see , everyone gets saved . That's just kind of how it works out . So but yuki , his sister , wanted disappearing when he was a kid . He's never seen her again . Apparently they never found her , so it's assumed that she's dead .

Kyoka , when she was a kid , uh , the shuki , managed to break out of mato and come into the human world and wound up slaughtering her entire village , all of her friends , and left her as , I'm assuming , the only sole survivor there . This is pretty much how kind of how it's playing out to the person to see . So I'm not going to spoil it with the manga .

I'm only doing it for just the anime , because the manga , if I'm correct , is either near completion or has already completed . But right now we're just focusing on season one . So yuki , he is , if you've ever seen , way of the house husband uh , take away the whole um gang member part of it and that's pretty much him .

He , he can cook , he cleans well , he could fix damn near anything . He's pretty much the male that is able to do almost every single female role that you would assume in our world . And I specifically say that because in this world , in this anime , the roles are heavily reversed .

So , with Mato being the demon realm , there's also a special fruit called a Mato peach is what they call it and so people have an opportunity of consuming these peaches . Women who consume these peaches all get special powers , each one unique to just themselves , but men it has no effect on whatsoever .

So women wind up getting the jobs of being able to use their powers to either help further the world or , if they're strong , they're able to use their powers to go into the motto realm and be able to save people who wind up getting trapped in there .

Because what happens is , every now and again there's a motto event where all of a sudden , a fog comes through and just randomly teleports people into the motto verse and shuki attack . There's no explanation of why this happens , it just randomly happens .

So it was like okay , well , this is where we're at and of course , that's what happened with Yuki's big sister . So we wound up having a big time skip between for Kyoka and Yuki . This has happened many , many years later is where our story now begins .

Onto this Yuki has been constantly wanting to try to figure out if there's any way that he could get revenge .

He feels sad about what happened with his sister , obviously , and just is really just trying to figure things out , because the thing is is that everything that he knows as far as , like , being great at cleaning , fixing stuff , being able to take care of himself , his cooking , all of that he learned from his big sister .

So his one of those things of like , everything he goes by on his day-to-day life , is because of her that he's able to do the things that he does , which I mean . For me it's kind of also about the same .

I have a big brother who have two big brothers who wound up taking very good care of me when I was younger because my dad was not able to be there and so because of them I learned how to do a lot of different things . So I kind of pretty much fell for Yuki onto that . I can understand how he feels .

So what ends up happening is that Yuki , unfortunately , on his way home from school one day , gets caught in a Mato event where , unfortunately , the dense fall comes through and he has been teleported into the mato realm . He constantly is trying to run for his life . He doesn't want to be devoured by shuki .

He still really wants to find a way to possibly try to save his sister if that was possible , but at the same time he needs to understand that I gotta save myself . So right before the shuki attacks , kyosa , kyoka , winds up showing up .

So we find out that kyoka is actually the commander of the seventh squadron , where there's different squadrons of women who all have different powers and they are placed in various different parts of the realm where they're able to help people who get caught inato events and be able to transport them back to the human world and save them from Shuki .

So we finally get an introduction to Kyoka Himari , shusu and Nei . Well , not Nei just yet , but we get most again introduced to Kyoka Himari and Shusu . So Himari winds up having her own special ability where she is able to copy other girls' abilities .

As long as she's seen it , she's able to copy them and able to switch back and forth , so she's able to mimic things . Her primary go-to is the fact that I guess there was some girl who's very efficient with guns . I'm assuming , because Himari's main goal to go into is that she transforms her gun into a Gatling gun and likes to blast Shuki away .

Every now and again she'll switch her hand to like a sword or something else , but for the most part that's pretty much what she does . So Shushu is able to go ahead and use her ability called Paradigm Shift and is able to teleport herself into not teleport , sorry she's able to make herself grow into like ginormous size .

She's literally the ant-man of this universe . So she's able to shrink small , or she's able to grow big , uh , with . One of the most the best benefits is that she has a special outfit that's able to shrink and grow along with her , so she doesn't have to suffer the fact of getting naked or bursting out of her clothes , which is I'm really surprised about .

Considering the fact of how much fan service is in this show , I'm actually very surprised they did not go that route . But hey , um , and then we get introduced to nay , now , nay , you will not get fan service from her . She's a little girl . So thankfully , it's one of the things . Y'all know that . Y'all been listening to the podcast .

Y'all know that there's a particular anime that I absolutely dislike , specifically because once we got into like the second episode , they tried to do fan service with a little girl and I was like , nope , draw a line I done with this . They absolutely cannot do shit like that . But nay , you ain't got to worry about that .

She is a little girl , but her special power is the ability of like foresight .

So it's not so much that she's able to see into the future , but she's able to expand her vision out For , like I could say , if people who probably was watching Naruto vision out for , like I could say if people who probably was watching naruto uh neji's eight trigram , his byaku gone , where he's able to like expand his vision to like almost 360 around him .

She's able to see miles around her at all . At the exact same time , she's able to sense energy and she's able to kind of just keep an eye out for various different things . So they use her for reconnaissance , to be able to keep an eye out for everything .

In case shuki winds up popping up , or if there's a manto event and a human winds up getting transported into the manto realm , she's the first person to be able to see it . And then boom , they can now go and rescue her . They can now go and rescue whoever it is using her ability .

So nay is also very important because before Yuki came along , she was the main person in charge of cleaning the dorms that they live at . Because , in order to make things easier for when Mato events happen , the girls live all those squadrons they live in specialized dorms in the Mato realm .

They're usually covered by a special protective barrier to make sure they can't just be infiltrated . However , they still may have to defend themselves , because some Shuki can grow so powerful that they can destroy the barrier . It is possible . So they have to be mindful on that .

So throughout the first couple of episodes we get this understanding , we get this meeting with the group , we get an understanding of their powers and also yuki's powers . Where kyoka her ability is enslavement , which is where we get the title of the show .

Kyoka is able to turn any living creature well , I'm saying living creature , any creature that moves and walks around into her slave . So she had she did do a quick explanation in the anime that she has tried this with other things .

She's done it with other shuki , but normally it's not necessary that she keeps a pet shuki , but she's able to grab one , turn it into her slave and use it and mount it and be able to use it to go ahead and attack other shuki and be able to destroy them .

There is a drawback that a lot of people dislike Kyoka's ability for and the fact she gets a lot of slack for it specifically because of this . Her drawback is that because her ability is slave . It's more so the fact of like a BDSM situation .

So by commanding her slave to do something , as long as they accomplish the task , she gives them a reward , and she has no idea what the reward is . Her body just moves on its own . So whenever she would enslave Shuki , she said that they would just be satisfied with some pork or something or like some type of meat . They're always just hungry .

Ok , there we go . That makes sense . There's a time they see a human , they're always going to attack . So she goes and she just gives them some meat . Give them some meat and then that satisfies them . If they die in battle , it's whatever . So she's used it against other girls before to kind of see how the power works out .

And sometimes you know they might want a foot rub or something like that , or I want to be pampered , whether the case may be . Maybe they also want food . But she's never used it on a male before . So it winds up .

Getting to a situation that they're completely surrounded by shuki himari is now hurt Shushu's ability when she overuses , it winds up draining her , making her really tired . So what winds up happening is Kyoka . Even though she has immense strength and is able to slice down Shuki , she's also still human .

She doesn't have superhuman feats per se , she's just trained herself up that well . So they were about to die . They had to figure out something to do , but kyoko was came up with the idea . You know , I've never tried this before , but we're going to see we can do this . She looks at yuki and she's like hey , I've never tried this with a guy before .

I have no idea what's going to happen , but I want to try to use my slave ability on you just to see what may happen , to see if it may help you out and see if it can get us out of this sticky situation . Yuki understands the situation is like you know what , if it's to save everyone , we got this , I will trust you .

So he winds up forming the pact with Kyoka and turns into I would probably say what I would assume a dragonborn would look like to .

I would probably say what I would assume a dragon born would look like Um , the best explanation that I can even give for you , that most similar uh I could give for you is like a mix between , uh , high school DXD , the pop , the dragons , the dragon armors , a mix between that dragon armor and and then bleach Ichigo's uh , hollow form , his full um vasta lord

, a hollow form ,

literally . Kind of a mix as far as the coloration is about the same , except instead of a masked face that has those teeth to it . The jagged teeth are very similar to that of the high school dsd , those dragon armors . So it's kind of similar into that aspect , very , very anime style .

But it actually , I mean , to me it looked pretty badass , it looked pretty cool . So I was like , okay , not only does he wind up changing , he immediately gets an increase in speed , in strength , he's able to wipe the floor of the shuki like it's nothing .

The shuki do a last resort effort and they all combine together to form one giant monster and yuki is able to blast through it in one shot , instantly , killing it . Therefore , you know , pretty much solidifying how strong yuki is in this slave form . So the ones getting a pretty awesome idea to be able to like , hey , you know , this might actually work out .

And then the drawback comes into he accomplished a task and now he gets whatever he wants , and kyoka now understands that yuki is a big ass pervert .

So throughout the series , every now again , he's wanting some kisses , some naked hugs , various different things that you would kind of expect a young Japanese male to like I don't even just say Japanese , just a young male to like . Some young guys have fetishes , that's just what it is so like .

He gets the opportunity of experiencing quite a lot of things , and it's very intense . However , we also wind up getting an opportunity of understanding that Kyoka is able to lend her slave , and by that it means she's able to activate her slave ability and then pass her slave along to somebody else . So she tries it out with each person on Squad 7 .

With Himari , he turns into I'm trying to think it's that Pokemon Greninja . He literally turns into a more dragon-like version of Greninja . That's literally what he turns into . It's pretty interesting . He does not have as much strength , but his speed is significantly faster , and so it winds up becoming a big factor that they wound up using this form .

Later on , with Shushu , he winds up turning into pretty into a more yellowish , bolder , bulky , hulk-type-esque creature , but the issue is that he loses an intense amount of speed when he does so . He moves extremely slow , but he's very powerful .

For right now at least , throughout season one , they don't use this form because it just doesn't quite seem fully beneficial . Then Ney got the opportunity , and this is where I was also very happy .

So in order to use this ability , in order to lend , they have to get on his back and they have to pull his chain to activate their own special transformation for him in his slave form . And so ney's ability , he becomes a full reconnaissance .

He doesn't really have super speed , he doesn't have super strength , but he's able to use her ability of being able to see around to an extreme ability . He literally has x-ray vision , like superman's x-ray vision or , you know , um eagle vision from the assassin's creed games . He's able to see through walls and see through clothes as well .

Uh , he wasn't happy about that one immediately . Well , I'm not gonna say he wasn't happy , he was excited about that one . But he was one of those ones like oh wait , wait , I don't think I'm supposed to be looking . Oh , wait , a minute , I did not think that this was going to happen . And he , he never really learns to control it .

So we don't get a chance to see this form again in season one , but I'm pretty sure they're definitely going to use this for season two and further on with how the story winds up progressing .

So the only drawback also that comes back with the slave ability , the slave lending is that for Kyoka , she doesn't have to worry about the drawbacks of having to deal with the reward situation .

Once she's lended him to somebody else , they immediately are responsible for whatever his reward is supposed to be , is supposed to be so , but what ends up happening is is that for kyoka is that it uses a significant amount of her power , more so than just activating yuki into a slave form and then actually using him to fight . It significantly drains her .

So she has to be very mindful of how she uses it and understands that it's pretty much kind of a if you resort to this , your her battle , her fighting , is going to wind up diminishing unless you can find a way to recover herself a little bit faster .

So it is something that she's been that she's more than likely going to be working on throughout the series . Um with himari and with shushu , yuki is very interested in them , so his reward is usually them undressing and getting naked or fondling themselves or something of the sorts to him because that's just what he likes .

However , with Nei even though he respects her because she is his senpai , since she's been there at the dorm longer than he has he respects her as she is and he really treats her very much like a little sister . I love nay . Nobody fuck with nay .

She's a cute little girl , she's like an awesome , the best little sister ever , and yuki really like goes into that . So his reward is usually like I got a reward by a kiss on the cheek . Oh , thank you so much . I love you . You're so sweet and that's it and it doesn't go no further than that . Happy again , very happy about that .

But yes , um , but it does get pretty risque when it comes down to kyoka , himari and shushu . Now we get a chance to under the introduced himari uh more of her copy ability . She does not have to rely on Kyoka in order to be able to lend her Yuki as a slave .

Himari is able to copy that ability and turn Yuki into her own personal slave herself Now , and on top of that , she's able to combine this with other abilities , so she's able to copy multiple abilities at the same time . It does drain her more , so she has to be mindful about using two abilities at the exact same time . But it becomes into play later .

We wind up getting introduced to another squadron , squadron 3 , where it's headed by Tenka Izumo . Tenka is a character , tenka is a character . Tenka is A character . I Not gonna lie , I'll kind of be upset a little bit With Yuki onto this one cause , bro , like . Anyway , I'll get into that , my bad .

But Tenka , she wants to be in the head of her squadron , and the people of her squadron who would get introduced To um , konomi and Fubuki are the primary ones that we wind up seeing .

So when it comes down for uh , konomi and Fubuki is the fact that Konomi , konomi's ability is is called mad sheep , but pretty much she's able to increase her strength and by by counting higher in sheep she's able to become stronger and stronger . The drawback for her is using her ability makes her extremely tired .

I mean , she will straight up fall asleep in the middle of battle . That's just what it is . She'd be tired as hell sometimes . She's always just tired , because that's just the drawback of her ability .

Um , but yeah , it makes her extremely sleepy , especially the more she uses her ability or the higher that she wants of increasing her power , but it comes into play as a very , very hit on big tactic , because she literally has super strength and super speed .

Uh , for buki , for all my jojo fans out there , for buki , her ability is golden hour and you know what ? I'm probably going to wind up making a whole video about this , about how broken time abilities are , because that's her ability she is able to manipulate time , not just stop time .

She can manipulate time by doing a sentai pose , whatever pose that she wants to do , and she is very fucking good at this ability . So she has golden hour and she can freeze time for however long she wants , however many seconds that she wants to freeze it .

So , just like , unlike dio , when he first got his time stop ability and was only able to stop time for three seconds , she's immediately able to stop for like five , ten , 10 seconds and shit like that , and she can do it . And she , she is very well-trained . She works out all the time , as we get an opportunity to see . In one episode we see her .

She has her own the dorm , has their own gym and she's always , apparently , in the gym . She's either in a gym or she's in a room , primarily , and so she's always working out , always increasing her own strength and her own stamina . So having a couple of seconds , that's a major thing because she can move very far , very fast in that time .

Her primary weapon is guns . Girl likes to just freeze time walk up to your face , blast you in your face and then watch as the bullets slowly hit to your face until time resumes and then blast and then you die and um , she enjoys doing so . She's a little crazy , not not just a little , she's very crazy . Um . So , but that's golden hour .

She's able to freeze time . Then she's able to use golden hour to rewind time . Old girl literally damn near had her arm chopped off , rewound time to prevent it , not only to prevent it happening , but to catch where her opponent is at . So she literally uses this ability to like I can .

She literally has the ability to fucking respawn per se , like , imagine that shit , like , imagine , like I think the last time I've seen an ability like this broken was for prince of persia games with sands of time . Literally you could fall off a platform or you could literally damn near die . Like you got hit . Your health bar went all the way down to zero .

So you were to use the sands and rewind time to before it happens . So you know to block , or so you know to dodge and get out the way , because the opponent still does the exact same thing that they were going to do , because time is still set in that motion .

You just changed what it was that you were going to do and her only drawback is that she gets tired . This doesn't create different timelines . This doesn't create different multiverses , none of that shit . All it does is that fuck it , I'm just gonna rewind time if she takes a damn near fatal wound and she can just do whatever pose she wants to do .

She literally had both her arms . She couldn't even use them . And there was an opponent that was like hi , I've learned your ability . You have to do some weird ass pose in order to be able to use your ability . But if you can't do that weird ass pose , you can't do that weird-ass pose , you can't do shit .

And she literally said what you need to understand is how fucking fabulous I am . I don't need my arms to do a pose . I can pose just fine with my legs . And sure enough , girl popped out this extremely weird-ass pose with these legs and still activated her ability to rewind time to prevent that . She lost her arms , and that's not even the strongest one .

Her strongest ability is prime time . This girl is too fucking broken . Prime time and being able to rewind not only being able to rewind , not only being able to time double speed a little bit so she can move through a little bit faster as well too . She is hella fucking broken .

So literally like there's an episode later on in season one where and I'm sorry I realized I kind of get into spoilers , but just kind of like how I'm reviewing this anime there's literally an episode where she she's literally damn near died like constantly she got shot multiple times , she got shot with arrows , she got um sliced up , she got beaten to a pulp and

constantly kept rewinding time in order to get out the way , because she knew it was going to happen . And we're always like how the fuck is she able to do this ? It's like she just knows what attack I'm gonna do before I do it .

But they don't quite understand that , oh , she has the ability to rewind time , so I succeeded and she's like all right , I know what you're gonna do now rewinds time and it never happened , but now I'm prepared . It's just so fucking broken .

But fabuki aside from the fact that , yes , she also wants them getting super tired and sleepy , with her ability she overuses it , which is why she's constantly working out to increase her stamina so she can use it more . Fabuki is Himari's sister . They unfortunately have a family dynamic that doesn't quite go the best .

Fubuki obviously is well known that her ability is broken as hell , so her family heavily respects her . She's the respect , the golden child of the family because she has golden hour , time , stop ability and shit . And so not only that , um , fabuki actually has a very , very big fixation on himari .

So himari , growing up she always thought that her sister was just mean and nasty and hard on her . But really it was fabuki always trying to look out for her because himari was not truly respected in the family . But fabuki wantsuki wants her sister back . She wants her sister to be part of the family .

But she also has a very big , weird affection to her sister Fubuki's entire room . This was probably one of the funniest sequences in the whole show . So there was a time where Yuki wound up helping out to cleaning the other dorm and help keep things up to speed .

So while he was over there he was helping out doing laundry and stuff , and then he was , um , yeah , because that's pretty much what he does now , like he , he touches all the girls clothes all the time . So , yeah , and so he's .

While I was up doing laundry , he was taking him back to her room and when he went to go do so , he went into her room and saw nothing but pictures all over the walls and the ceiling of Himari , and he didn't say shit . He put when he looked , he was shocked . He walked in further to put the clothes down .

He walked out , closed the door and walked away and said I'm gonna pretend like I never saw that shit . Absolute respect , bruh . Absolute , fucking respect . I respect you . On that one man , like , come on you . You knew instantly like I'm just gonna mind my own motherfucking business . Because , um , hell to fuck , not .

On that one bruh , like Like no , but for reals though . So Yuki winds up , he understands , he knows , he thinks in spite . So yeah , fubuki , she has a very , very big fixation on her sister . But Fubuki's not the only one from this squadron that has a big fixation on someone from Squad

7 .

Let's go into the captain of this squad , tinka , tinka , bruh , I'm telling you so her ability is to open portals , and she primarily uses it for two things she can teleport , so she can open the portal , walk through and can teleport wherever it is that she sees fit , as long as she has , even if she hasn't fully been there , if she has a visualization of what

it looks like , she can open a portal there and just go instantly . And that's her ability . And then her other ability is she can open a portal as a black hole and suck you into a negative dimension , therefore literally killing anything there .

And let's not forget that tenka is also a skilled fighter and is also not so much superhuman but trains as well to be extremely strong and extremely agile and fast as well too .

So , and let's even just go just a tad further , her portal ability she is able to teleport 666 times in a row before she has to deal with a drawback , which is , of course , for her , losing energy and getting tired . So that's , that's literally . That's it . That's it .

She's able to teleport and she's able to open black holes and suck you into the black holes , and she can do it at will , like instantly . I'm talking about later on in the season we get a fight between tenka and ioba , and I'll explain who ioba is in a moment , but first understand .

So ioba has the ability to keep eating mato peaches without having to deal with the drawback . So people have tried eating mato peaches over and over again . But the issue that comes into is the fact that , um , if you eat too many of them , you can't handle the intense amount of power that goes into your body . It becomes very negative .

It can wind up having extremely negative drawbacks and in some cases can wind up killing someone . So most people only eat one matzo peach and that's it . They don't eat anymore . Ioba is able to continuously consume them , even in battle . She actually keeps them .

She keeps quite a few of them in battle and she's able to keep eating them and increasing her strength over and over without having to deal with the drawbacks that come out , that come to it . However , one of the biggest things for her is the fact that she , I guess I would say probably loses focus .

They don't explain that , but you can kind of see it Like she becomes very one-minded on how things are going to go and she can lose focus of her surroundings as she's increasing her power , as she's constantly trying to attack so Tenka , she uses this to her advantage . So one of the things about Kyoka she uses this to her advantage .

So one of the things about Kyoka the leader of Squad 7 , who has a slave ability is that what inspires her to become who she is and inspired her to join the Mato team the squadron of saving humans and stuff is the demon squad is the fact that when she was a kid , her entire family was killed , was slain .

However , what winds up happening is that it was done by a Shuki that was so powerful nobody could take it down , and she understood that the demon slayers not so much demon slayers , but the demon killers , the people for the form , the group that kills shuki they've been around for a long time .

They could not defeat this shuki whatsoever , so they wound up letting it get away and we finally find this shuki again . They just call him the horn shuki , but he's actually somewhat of a friend of Ioba . She even gave him a nickname . I can't fully remember the name .

My apologies , unfortunately , but for the longest throughout the season he's known as the Horn Shuki because he has a giant horn on his head , like a giant long ass horn on his head and shit , but he's immensely powerful . He's clad in armor , pretty much you could say like if it's back on attack on Titan .

It's like the armor Titan , but he's like a mix of the armor Titan and the attack Titan . Like he's immensely powerful , very fast , very strong , but he has an immense amounts of defense as well too . It's very difficult to harm him and to stop him from attacking .

So we wind up getting a fight between Tenka and Aoba and Kyoka finally gets a chance to fight the horned Shuki again . She does get a chance to fight this horned Shuki earlier on , but her teammates wind up getting hurt very badly and she wound up trying to command Yuki to keep going along .

But Yuki wound up disobeying that command because everyone else was hurt . It was one of those ones of like he's like , I can't do it , our squad is hurt , we need to get them back to safety . We need to get them back to get healed up . And Kyoka recognized that point of , yes , she wound up letting her revenge get ahead of her squad .

But she finally gets an opportunity to get revenge , um , to get a second battle against the um horn shuki , but this time without having to worry about her squad being hurt or being stuck in the way . So she's finally able to get an actual straight-on fight with him and finally is able to kill him and to and put him down .

Um , but understand Tenka and Aoba Tenka's ability as far as being able to teleport she used this ability very frequently . She was able to teleport over and over and over and over and over again with Aoba trying to get stronger and faster and stronger and faster by constantly consuming peaches , so that way she could try to catch up with Tenka .

Tenka's able to teleport in an instant . As soon as she thinks teleport , it's it . She's already teleported to a new area . That's just how fast she's able to teleport . So it's really big onto this . So Tenka winds up teleporting over to the Horned Shuki and Aoba's not paying attention and winds up actually knocking the Horned Shuki down for just a brief moment .

So that is kind of that . Drawback for her is the fact that , even though she is able to handle the power , the immense power and speed that her body is being given eating these mato peaches , the drawback is that she's losing focus about around her .

She becomes so one one-sided focused that she's not able to pay attention to her surroundings and that pretty much winds up becoming a big fault in her plan . That kind of comes into her because tenka almost uh , killed ioba . She almost did it .

She winds up getting ioba to a point where she was able to finally get a black hole , where she was able to make a black hole pop up and ioba was not able to dodge out the way she was stuck there . Now let me explain ioba and so I can see I can explain this aspect . Tenka did not go through with the attack .

She started it but then canceled the attack at that moment and wound up taking a near fatal blow from ioba after that . So the reason that tenka did not do this is because we find out that ioba is actually yuki's long lost sister .

So this wound up getting hinted at earlier on and then we got a confirmation because during the first fight between kyoka and kyoka , yuki in his slave form versus the horned Shuki is when we get introduced to Aoba , aoba recognizes Yuki , even in his slave form , and she's like something just seems off . I feel like there's an energy , there's something about this .

I'm like , I really feel like I know you . And so she issues out a command because that's how she would always talk to her little brother Yuki chill out or Yuki do this or something like that . Yuki stopped and Yuki instantly stopped in his slave form .

He immediately disobeyed Kyoka and followed his sister , followed his sister's command and he had no idea why it is . He really did that , but it's because it's so much subconsciously and brain and in his brain , because his sister will always tell him what to do , because she practically raised him , so he respects her in that regard .

So that's when we've got that confirmation that ayoba is actually yuki's sister , and so she got that full confirmation . You are my brother . I don't know why you look like that , but you're my brother . So she winds up taking advantage and steals Yuki and runs away with him and nobody is able to catch up .

However , they are able to find him because of Kyoka's drawback . They wound up using that as a positive . The drawback for her ability , remember , is that whenever she uses her slave ability , she has to um , if they , if the slave , fulfills their goal , does what they're supposed to do , she has to reward them .

Yuki disappeared without his reward , so her body instinctively sought after him to give him that reward . And that's where this comes into play . So , because of the fact that Kyoka still has to give him the reward . Her body automatically knows what direction Yuki is at , and so they were able to track him down and they were able to find Ayoba .

So Ayoba and she has a couple of friends . She also had a few friends as well , with hers as well too . They are what have been called humanoid Shuki , and humanoid Shuki are pretty much like . They were humans who constantly consumed mato peaches , but they became more Shuki like instead of retaining their human body , their human bodies , with their powers .

But the reason that they also became this way Is because of the fact that they consumed the peaches in the Mato Verde While being in the Mato Realm . But they became more .

They hate humanity , they no longer consider themselves humans , and the reason for that is because the corporation that runs the Shuki Slayers , the Shuki Killers , the Demon Mato Realm Reunition I forgot the whole organization name , but the people who runs the background .

What it is is the fact that they took Aoba and her friends and they experimented on them for years . It was the promise that they said that we are going to cure you , but really that wasn't what was happening .

They weren't trying to cure them , they were trying to see how far they could test their bodies and test their limits and so , unfortunately , quite a few people died . Quite a few of these humanoid Shuki died . They were never cured .

So Aoba and her friends managed to escape and they managed to rescue other people , but they have a big goal of the fact that they want to take down the whole organization . Before they're able to enact this goal , of course , our two squads that we meet . They wind up finding where Yuki's at , they infiltrate and then the big battle winds up starting out .

Um , we wind up getting a pretty awesome battle where himari and fabuki actually are able to team up together , use their abilities to take down one of the humanoid shuki who's able to , in a sense , just disappear out of like , just kind of like . She's able to disappear into the floors , the walls , and she's able to swim through them like fish .

She's able just to kind of go through , but she can see through the walls . So even though she's in the walls , she can still see everything that's going on and she pops up to attack and then disappears . Meanwhile they were also fighting . There was like a six armed Shuki that was able to shoot arrows at extremely high speed and stuff .

So Himari almost died several times .

Fubuki almost died several times , but Fubuki's golden hour ability came in clutch as a motherfucker , because she kept rewinding golden hour to freeze time , prime time , in order to rewind time and increase her and try to keep an idea of her speed , rewind time and increase her , and then , like , try to um , keep an idea of her speed and literally like bruh , they

almost died so many times but they just managed to barely make it . So we're still doing pretty good , but they managed to go ahead . They defeated oh , they wound up defeating the humanoid shuki and they were able to actually um , they were able to actually kill the six-armed Shuki that was shooting all the arrows .

Then we wound up getting a pretty um , a pretty decent fight where Shushu and Konomi wound up actually they teamed up together , but it wound up pretty interesting on how this works out . So so Shushu's ability again is to grow and Konami's ability is mad , cheap , which is able to get super strange . So I did wind up skipping through .

There was a couple episodes in the middle where the two squads had a competition with each other to see who was better because of the fact of the rivalry between Himari and Fubuki . So they wound up having a competition where Himari , using Yuki as a slave , was able to fight against Fubuki and was able to win , and Shushu wound up going against Konami .

But Konami wound up winning and Shushu wound up losing . Even though she has the paradigm shift that's able to have her shrink and grow to a ginormous size and stuff , she still wound up losing that fight .

So they actually this time , instead of fighting against each other , now paired with each other , they wound up going against another humanoid , shuki , who's very difficult um , very difficult matchup into this one . Because her ability is she has slime all over her body and her slime is a healing agent .

So no matter what wound she takes , she can heal very quickly from it not instantly , but very quickly because of the properties of that . But because it's also slime , they can't land a hit on her . It's every time they try to hit her it slides off of her and so she takes pretty much no damage every single time .

But she winds up getting paired up with the shuki . That's pretty much like abomination from marvel , like not not exactly like hulk , but definitely still strong , fast and spiky . So it becomes very difficult in their fight . But they were able to wind up using a special plan called plan s , where they were able to defeat them .

And this is one where this age-old question how come ant-man didn't just turn small , go upside thanos's butt and then expand and see if that will work ? Um , multiple videos on YouTube , multiple people like there's a scientist that has explained it .

Um , there's been lots of people who've explained it and every one of them said that will not work because you're assuming human expansal growth against literally a celestial , so against a god , so that's that's not gonna work type thing .

And let's say , even if they weren't a god less per se , invincible , also explained that um , without spoiling and just go ahead and say again it didn't work . Uh , but in the anime world it worked . So shushu wants of getting small .

She gets thrown inside of the shuki's mouth , expands and explodes it to pieces , takes its horn and is able to get past the slime and finally stab the other um , and is finally able to stab the humanoid shuki and therefore they wind up winning their fight .

It didn't last long because the humanoid shuki again her slime is able to heal her very quickly and , granted , she's still , she's running out . She ran out of energy having to heal herself . But it worked and the Shuki also regenerated itself .

So he exploded the pieces and he used his blood as like a sticky rope I would want to say just the same as bungee gum that has the properties of rubber and gum . Anyway , I'm sorry , but it winds up kind of being very similar in that it used that to bring his body pieces together and it reconstructed itself .

So they won the fight , but they didn't kill the Shuki . So I was like , okay , I guess , but they wind up . Finally , yuki winds up intervening against Tenka and Aoba and Kyoka and Kyoka and the horned Shuki .

He winds up finally interrupting the fight in between because , remember , they came to rescue him and he was like there's , there's good on both sides , y'all don't need to fight against each other . I did like how Tenka was able to like use her teleport ability because for one . So every time she teleports it makes a very high chiming sound .

Apparently nobody hears it . However , ioba , once she's consumed enough mato peaches , she was able to finally hear the teleport sound . So she was able to hear the portals . So anytime she heard a little ding noise , she instantly knew where the portal was going to be at , and so she was able to catch up with tenka in that fight .

Um , so it was still very good into that . Um , but nobody else , otherwise nobody hears these little chimes . So literally she teleports . As soon as she sees ayoba and yuki , she instantly teleports , grabs yuki , teleports back away and ayoba's so pissed because she didn't even know what happened until all of a sudden she noticed that yuki was gone .

She was like , wait , wait a second , what ? Oh you sneaky bitch , I'm dare you even just to teleport like that um . But so they wind up getting through . Um , he wants to finally get through . Breaking up the fight a little bit , tell him to chill out , and it's like we don't have to do this .

Aoba is able to finally explain what it is that happened , how it is that they escaped from the organization cells and that they were promised that they were supposed to be cured . But that's not what was really happening , and stuff like that . Tenka and Kyoka immediately agree and say you know what ?

That was completely rude , that's completely horrible that that happened to you . We will never let that happen . If you choose instead to go against organization , but work with us , we will work with you and we're going to find a way to fix this and help you guys , because it seems that you guys still want to be cured .

We want to try to help you , but Aoba is like no , I'm still not going to go along with you guys .

And tenka explains to yuki that it makes sense that she doesn't want to do so because , even though she agrees with me and with um kyoka , there's still other people who are probably so headstrong to the organization that finding out if anyone just says the wrong thing , then what winds up happening is is that it's going to get back to the organization , that we

decided to let these humanoid Shuki live , that we decided to let them get away and that we're agreeing that we're partnering with them . So the only people who understood that conversation was Yuki , kyoka , tenka and Ayoba . Nobody else heard that conversation . And Tenka's like Tenka and Ayoba , nobody else heard that conversation .

And Tenka's like we need to keep it that way . Nobody else needs to know what we discussed here . It doesn't leave this room . This is all the people that needs to know this , know this information . But at that moment we wind up getting introduced to our newer super villains . I don't even the thunderous seven , which we don't even meet .

Seven of them , we only meet like three . Yeah , so , like the seven thunder gods is what they call themselves , and they are , I'm gonna assume , also humanoid shuki , but are significantly more powerful . So we get introduced to uh shikoku shikoku . We still don't really know what her ability is , but we can understand .

Her ability is dangerous because , for one , what she's able to do is she went to the horn shuki and all she did was touch it and as soon as she touched him , it immediately started reacting and then she wound up telling him it's okay , you can go all rage that you want .

And then she just briefly explains I just restored his normal , I just restored his normal rage , and that was it . So apparently they understand that the horn shuki has actually calmed down . It was no longer as dangerous as it was , which is true , because he wound up listening to ioba . Ioba would tell him to back down . He backed down .

She would say attack , he attacked , but otherwise he kind of just stayed chill . But in this particular case , um , he winds up going ballistic and winds up very badly harming ioba , who tries to stop him .

And it's to the point where yuki and kyoka wound up having to wind up having to put yuki back in the slave form and they wind up having to take down the horn shuki , kyoka is able to finally get her revenge , but it still kind of feels bittersweet because it was one of those things of like ioba wound up getting hurt and it was his and it and she pretty

much considered the horn shuki a friend of hers because he wound up . They've been together for a little while now and he listens to her , so it still kind of feels bad .

Um , and then what winds up happening is is that uh , shikoku winds up showing up with one other person and they wind up kidnapping two of the humanoid shuki ioba's two closest friends , and they wind up taking them , taking them away and , I guess , feeding them to one of the other seven thunder gods per se .

From the way they briefly explained in that last episode is that it's the only God that actually feels the need to consume and actually has to keep eating and is always hungry . So they wind up feeding them to the Thunder God .

And that winds up being how the show pretty much ends , with Yuki agreeing that he wants to go ahead and help his sister and agreeing to help Kyoka become the new Supreme Leader of the organization , because if she becomes supreme leader she can put a stop to what's going on to the humanoid shuki and actually save these girls instead of using them for whatever

purpose that they were using them for , and tenka agrees .

Now let me do just a brief thing . So there's not as a lot of fan service that's in the show we wind up getting to see Himari Fonda herself put her bare body on Yuki . We see Yuki butt naked , getting licked from head to toe . It was on purpose to heal him because it was the slime girl .

There's a lot of different fan service and most of it really isn't necessary . It was the slime girl . There's a lot of different fan service and most of it it really Really isn't necessary . But the biggest one For me is Tenka . Tenka absolutely Loves Yuki .

She went so far as to go to Kyoka and have a private conversation , first off saying I want your slave , give him to me , give the boy to me . Off saying I want your slave , give him to me , give the boy to me , give me yuki , I want him . And when kyoka says no , she says fine , well , how about if I date him ? There's no rules against that .

I may not be able to have him as my own slave , but I want to date him . I want him . And tenka shows up all the fucking time while yuki is asleep . She teleports into his room while she's , while he is sleeping , and gets into his bed to wake him up and is constantly , she's constantly harassing this nigga and it's one of those things .

I feel like it's one of those things , like yuki . I just need you to speak up , bro . Either say yes , I like this , I want to tap that because tikka has offered . She's offered multiple times . I was like saying , like I , you know , I wouldn't mind giving you reward . In fact , I would like a reward too . I would like some alone time with you .

We could have a reward together . She's literally gotten up , damn near got . No , she has . She's gotten naked in front of this guy on purpose , for this purpose , and he just can't say no . But he can't say yes . I just need him to make a damn decision . Even kyoka has literally told him you need to make a decision . I am your master .

She's literally told him this . She does not like this . She's literally telling him I don't like that . Tinka's able to freely just keep coming into your room willy-nilly , doing all this shit . I need you to decide . Do you still want me . Do you want me or do you want her ? Like I need you to pick one . You keep just like I can't decide . I can't decide .

I can't decide . Like bruh , just man the fuck up and do something . It's a thing that happens in anime all the time . But you , like bruh , just come on already . I don't know . Personally , I probably , as crazy as Tenka is , I probably would have went for it . I'm not even going to lie bruh . I'm not even going to lie Bruh .

She went so far when she did not attack Ioba . Literally . The bad part about it is this scene you can see in the censored version and uncensored version , because they didn't even change it in the censored version on some websites I haven't checked all of them , but I know quite a few websites . They never changed them .

They never changed the cens of version of this particular scene in this episode 11 specifically , where , when Tenka was taking the fatal attack , aoba asked how come you didn't do this ? How come you didn't do the attack ? You would have gotten me . And she says because it would have hurt Yuki and Yuki is my . I love Yuki .

I imagine that we're going to have a family one day and I love him . I don't want to hurt him , I don't want to hurt his sister . In fact , she not only does that , she constantly refers to Aoba as sister-in-law . As soon as she found out that Yuki and Aoba were siblings , she's like oh , hey , sister-in-law , hey sister , hey sister-in-law .

Ioba did not like this . She straight up was like I'm about to kill your ass because you are gonna leave my yuki alone . Type shit , you are not good enough for my brother . Which is pretty much what sparked up their fight , but it was still hilarious . Um , but tenka , literally when she tells ioba and I was like okay , I respect you for that .

And then tink is like oh , I can see it now . And winds up having this fucking vision of her and yuki getting married , having sex , which they show tinka , tinka , naked , um , having sex , having a baby . She literally has envisioned the entire fucking future for them together .

And I hope it's like the awesome sister-in-law that comes over , the awesome auntie that comes over to play with her with the baby and stuff . And I'm just like yo , what the fuck , tikka , you want some whole other shit , bro . And it doesn't end .

Even in the last episode she still just fucking teleports into yuki's room and then she gets called out , she's like don't you have some paperwork ? You're supposed to be doing Shit . You're right , I do have some shit to do . Okay , alright , I guess I'll leave you . I guess I'll leave Yuki alone now . See you tomorrow , yuki ?

And then literally just teleports away because you know damn well she's coming right back again tomorrow . She comes back multiple times a day . She just teleports into his room just to . That's some stalker ass shit , bro , I don't know , I kind of like it , but it's just me , I'm done . I'm done , but for real . Overall , the show wound up being very hilarious .

It's got a lot of comedy to it . The action scenes are actually pretty good , definitely Definitely something to watch . Really good animation . The manga has gone much further . There is so many more slave transformations for Yuki in store In season 2 , we'll get a chance to see some of those .

Overall , I definitely give this anime an absolute rating , a pretty nice , good , generous rating 8.5 out of 10 . Um , and I only say in that aspect is in the fact that , um , I don't mind it being sprinkled with fan service . That's , that's fine . It is one of those things that just it .

Every anime has it now , almost every enemy has it now it's fan service is there . It's just is what it is , um .

But the only thing that I would wind up really kind of going further into is that we finally get a chance to get introduced to our to who possibly is going to be our real big bad , and so we understand that the leader of the organization , the absolute Supreme commander , is a complete ruthless ass . That's our main understanding .

I like that because I was actually just watching a video , um , not that long ago , where a guy explains about how good um ozai from avatar last airbender as a final villain was , because the fact , like , for a while , we we don't see him .

We never see his face , we only see this vague image and we just get this understanding that he's ruthless and that he's dangerous . And we get the same thing for the Supreme Commander . We have no idea where her name is , we have no idea where her power is .

All we know is that , literally , she is known by all the other captains as a completely ruthless person and they they have no trouble believing Ioba about what was going on . So I do love that aspect . What I would like more is some expansion , more expansion to some of the other characters . We got an expansion into all the squad seven except shushu we got .

Her main story winds up being that , oh you know , she was just a tomboy , she never really thought she'd fall in love and then boom , she kind of just immediately fell in love with yuki .

But we don't fully know why , like we didn't get a chance to get a full explanation , a full expansion onto that and it felt like there was supposed to be but it felt very rushed versus . We got a nice explanation for himari .

We got a nice explanation for nei and the fact that she named her ability see you soon as far as finding her parents , who also disappeared in the Mato event . We got a full explanation for everyone . So I just kind of want to see a little bit more . But with that , thank you guys . So much , I'll talk to you guys next time .
