Episode description

Hello, lovely beans!

Just before COP26 kicks off, we are bringing you this episode to explain what it is, why it is so important and what is to be expected within the UN negotiations and also outside the formal meetings.

This week we had the opportunity to hear from Farhana Yamin, who has 30 years of experience of working as a climate lawyer and having worked in many COPs.

Check out her work @farhanaclimate on twitter, and the manifesto she wrote for COP26 here: https://www.chathamhouse.org/publications/the-world-today/2021-10/manifesto-justice-cop26-and-beyond

Hosted by Mikaela Loach and Josephine Becker, edited by Finlay Mowat.
