Episode description
In the aftermath of the Vietnam War, tens of thousands of refugees fled their country to start a new life in Australia. Many of them found jobs as outworkers — fashion workers who sewed from home instead of at garment factories. Although they played an important role in Australia's fashion industry, their work was often overlooked, unregulated, and deeply exploitative.
