Scully and Dogett investigate a series of murders in a small Idaho town. The killings appear to be the work of something with bat-like features. As they dig deeper, they uncover connections to a local legend about a “man-bat” creature dating back to 1956. While Doggett approaches the case skeptically, Scully takes on the role Mulder once held, considering the possibility of the paranormal.
