After Mulder wakes up in a motel room with no recollection of where he’s been, he contacts Scully admitting he’s covered in blood that’s not his own. Local law enforcement believes he’s the main suspect in a double homicide. As Mulder struggles to find answers while experiencing debilitating flashbacks from his childhood, Scully goes on a mission to prove his innocence. This episode was written by R.W.
