Is going on? Everybody, and welcome to yet another main event review. Thank you very much for tuning in once again to this week's episode of the Main Event Review. A week until Clash in Paris, so we'll be as normal previewing that. There's not really too many matches on the cards to preview, but we'll get into those a little later, and then obviously the two matches that have

on main event as well. But before we get into all that, hope you guys are really enjoying the main event content at the moment, and in the plans to sort of set up my own wrestling show on my podcast, The Huddle Within, and we'll kind of give you guys some updates in the not too distant future on all that stuff as well. As Yeah, I find myself really enjoying these main event reviews and want to put it

onto my sort of shows as well there. But before again, once I said at the start, getting into my main event reviews. I thought i'd mentioned that, and it's good news for myself that ww are coming to Melbourne. So they obviously have the Crown and Duwel the Raw and SmackDown on Perth, but they're doing a house show in Melbourne, so that's going to be on the fifteenth of October, so I think the day after Monday Night Raw Airs, so I'll most likely be going to that and trying

to get my tickets tomorrow. Hopefully they're not too expensive. The reason I didn't go to Perth was that the flights were one thousand or six hundred dollars return in Australian, which is maybe about four hundred US return. Plus the tickets as well, which is basically the same price if not more, for all three shows and the hotel, you're looking at a total of around one thousand, six hundred AUD, which is about one thousand USD, which is too expensive

for a trip interstate. Again, I'd rather travel to the United States with that similar price of around one thousand, six hundred Australian and go watch a WrestleMania or something. So just wasn't worth it for me unfortunately, and also I am running a marathon on the fourteenth of October anyway, so oh, I think it's the twelve of October. Yes,

it's the twelve of October. So even if I was to have the time to go, I do have that marathon, so and would have maybe paid for eight if I was able to go through all three shows and not have the marathon, But the only way I would have been able to go was to seem undern raw and it's just not really worth it. So guess I'll be going to the house show if I do get tickets. I'm really excited for that. It looks as though that EO Sky, rear Ripley, j Usso Samuzain are all going

to be there, so yeah it should be cool. But no John Cena unfortunately, so I won't be able to see John Cena on his retirement tour. But yeah, definitely going to be getting the the last time. He's now Australian merch for sure, so yeah, I'll be looking out

for that. But I guess without anything else that we have to update, which I don't think there is at the moment, we shall just jump straight into it and the first match is with I think it's Alton Alton Prince or Kid Wilson actually, so Alton Prince is injured at the moment, hence why Kent Wilson has come out onto main event as a single star taking on Ray Phoenix.

And yeah, it's been it's been pretty dead for pretty deadly funny, but obviously with Elton Prince not being there, Kid Wilson has an opportunity to try to showcase his single start on main event, and he looked pretty good. He was very aggressive, which is what I liked, and it was quite different sort of his playful, pretty deadly

character that he does in that tag team. But it was also good to see him sort of exposed as a single star, and he had a really good match with Ray Phoenix, who I want to talk about more. He hasn't really done much since his comeback, Oh hasn't come back or since he made his debut into WWE. We had his loss at WrestleMania, which was a good moment for him, and he's sort of teaming up with

and Dreiday. They had that SummerSlam match, but it looks as though that partnership hasn't continued or they haven't seen any time on backdown, so I'm not really really sure what they're doing with ray Phoenix or even Panther for that matter. They're obviously brothers and they don't seem to be doing too much on their shows. I think Penta's dealing with the New Day at this point, and they haven't done anything with ray Phoenix, so don't really know

what's going on there with Ray Phoenix. He gets on main event, and I always mentioned this, when when you see a star like Ray Phoenix get the entrance music and sort of how he comes out to the ring and you hear the fans chant, it just shows that he doesn't pretty much. He pretty much doesn't belong on main event, and being there is just pretty much a filler. But again, it's good for me to sort of review it and basically say that ray Phoenix is in much need of a push and is much need of doing

something more significant. I do sort of like the idea that him and Dryday teeing up, but it doesn't seem that and dry Day is getting any sort of heat or push with the WWE. So it feels as though that Ray Phoenix will be better off alone, or if not better, yet better with his brother Penta and they just form a very strong tag team. There were once heels back in the I think in the literal libre days or the underground days, so that would be cool

to see. But other than that, it doesn't seem as though that they're doing anything with Ray Phoenix, which which is a shame because they have brought him in and here's someone that has a bit of support from the crowd and has had some pretty decent moments in WWE, but nothing to where anyone is remembering it, so hopefully

that changes for him. We then get onto Raw where we have basically the Vision, which is the name of the new faction come out with basically Paul Hayman introducing everyone into the ring as he always does, and then we have Seth Rolins about to speak, and that's where Jay Us Show comes in interrupts the speech, basically says

that everyone's tired of hearing from them. He calls Brondbreaker puppy dog, and that's where where Seth Rolins comes in and basically tries to just stir up ron Breaker, saying that Jay us So call his family fat and his family a bunch of super morons, and that's where Breaker gets held into the ring, just kind of a visual to sort of pull him back and hype up the fight towards the main event, and that's where Paul Hayman basically mentions that ECW Stadium was not down the road

and that he's talking like this in Philadelphia, which leads to the Extreme Rules match. I did like the sort of Tommy Dreamer promo where he basically said that he should be dead and was surprised that he's not, and that was quite funny. But yeah, that was pretty much it. That basically set up the main event, which we'll go into later. We then had the match between Finn Bala

or the Judgment Day and Dragonly and mister Guana. So it's called to see mister Iguana come in, especially when we see him from Triple Triple A. So I like the the cross the cross channel hill, sort of the crossways. I don't even know the word, but the crossover. I don't know how I missed that, but basically the crossover

here between Literal Libre and w w uh. We have Dominicque Mysterira trying to interfere with the match, and before that, the Judgment Day getting the victory, which wasn't the main point here. The main point was to get King out and he comes into the ring looks to get the upper hand on the judgment day, but the numbers are

outweighed and the judgment they end up looking strong. And this is obviously to hype up the match between and He Devi Hingo and Dominique Mysterira for the literally libera title at World's Collide, And forgot to mention it was Dominique that hit ol hear the Vikingo at the back with the title. That's sort of changed the momentum there

and that's where the numbers kind of peeled up. But yeah, that's gonna that's gonna happen soon, and pretty excited for that given that trip there is getting more coverage and whatnot. But we do want Dominiue to defend his title, and it doesn't seem as though he's going to defend it at Clash in Paris, but I think that will change

at Monday Night Rule. I think Adam Pearce will set up a match there, especially because AJ Styles has had a lot of pops in France, especially last year backlash, so I don't see them not putting a Jo Styles on the card here. So I think that they will happen. They'll have a match there. Maybe there'll be a bit of a stipulation, you'd like to think, especially given that they had a normal regular match at Summer Slams. So yeah,

we'll have to wait and see on that one. But again, this was the setup World's Collide between Dominique Stiano Heihi or David Kingo, who I suspect that in a few years I won't be surprised when he joins the main roster because he's getting massive pushes from Triple OU and I think they're not fans of him, but I think wwe might the law to him. There you a note.

We then have another promo with Naomi getting into the ring and basically announcing that she's pregnant, made some funny jokes about Jay us So enjoying too much Netflix and Chill, and also mentioning that the bloodline will continue, and I

found that pretty funny. But essentially she came out to relinquish the title, got angry at Adam Pierce, which is quite funny as well, but basically said she'll be back in nine months and kind of off topic or not really off topic, kind of staying on topic, it was just amazing that Naomi was competing for the title of Cashed In and won the title while she was pregnant, and also defended the title at Summers them while she was pregnant as well, given that obviously it was early,

but yeah, it wasn't aware of it. To me, it's just a shame that it happened now is terrible timing, but I guess when you're pregnant, you have to prioritize that and it's always going to be more important than a title, so that makes complete sense. But we were just getting used to Naomi and we're just getting kind of really engaged and close with her run as this heel and this proceeding with Cauncient, proceeding with Cautient gimmick that she was running, and I touched base on it

last week. It's going to be a shame to see Naomi gone for nine months, but hopefully she can make your return and get those titles back, and I think that's something that should happen as soon as possible, and I hope she stays in this character because people are really loving it, including myself. So it's just a shame that she's lost the belt, but again, yeah, we'll have to see what happens there again. Stephanie Vicour was meant to defend this clush in Paris, but I think Raw

will set up what happens there again. I suspect that they'll have a match there. If not, there'll be some sort of qualifier or something. We'll have to wait and see and we'll have to get excited for Raw when that. When that does happen as well. We then get the second match on main event with El gandem at A taking on Cruz del Toro and Grande gets the victory with the piece of metal headbart, which is always a

great move. And I got to say, I was kind of weirded out that Kaiser was Algrando Americano and it was taking the reins from Chad Gable and it looks like Chad Gable walks, so Kaiser could run. Because he's doing an incredible job here. It does help that he's fluent in Spanish. I think it makes the character a

lot better. It also helps that he managed to go onto Triple R and perform a few matches there, and it just showed that the Mexicans were really happy and sort of gravitated to Grando Americano really largely as well. And yeah, with that sort of Spanish language, it's just made Kais's gimmick as Algando Americano super exceed and far exceed whatever Chad Gable did or can do when coming back.

So yeah, it's going to be really interesting because obviously Chad Gable was the original person of this sort of gimmick and and now Kais has just taken it to another level and maybe we'll see these two take on each other for the battle of who will be al Grendelo Americano. But it feels like it's Kais's best work, which is which is crazy to say because he's been a solid member of Imperium, but he's doing a great

job with this this role. So he's very hard to sort of think that Chad Gable can just seamlessly take over when he comes back, And yeah, Guando Americana the legend lives on, and he gets another victory here, he gets a lot of momentum and I think, yeah, people might be offended, but Mexicans are not offended by it, So how how can he not stop doing this? I

think I think it's a great gimmick. I think it's something that you know, relieves the sort of seriousness from from what wwe can be with with some storylines, and yeah, I'm excited to see how Kaiser can continue to hone in on this on this role as well and on this character too, and and what will happen when when Gable gets back. But yeah, that pretty much wraps that match, and then we finish up and it's a quite quick main event with the main event on Raw with jay

Uso taking on bron Breaker. There, we had Bronson Reid coming into the ring as j Usa was about to get the pin and victory, interfering the match, and that's where La Night came out and helped out Bronson Reid and we then had Steph Rolins come in and that's where Sam Punkton came into the ring and both of

them obviously took the numbers game away. And while all this was happening, Jason and bron Breaker match was still occurring, we had j Usso splashing almost splashing bron Breaker onto the table didn't end up happening, and that's where Roman Reigns came out and basically speared bron Breaker and gave and gave a superman punch to Bronson Reid, and that's where bron I mean jus eventually hit bron Breaker with the splash on the table and got the victory there

as well. So j Uso coming in strong. This was obviously expected because they got the match at Clash in Paris where Juso is going to be going for the WWE Championship there, so it does make a complete sense as to why j Usso won the match, And yeah, I guess that leads up to Clash in Paris, which

will sort of talk about. Right now, we got the match between bron Breaker, I mean Bronson Reid and Roman Reigns bron Breakers not having a match at Clush in Paris, which is quite a surprise, but I think that's going

to lead to the second part. And that's why I think Roman Rains will win the match because he's just taking on the first point, first level or first person essentially from the Vision faction, and that is obviously Bronson Reid, who unfortunately isn't the most over of the three, so he'll take the pin, he'll take the loss, and they'll lead to Remanmains eventually taking on bron break and then maybe Seth Rollins in the future there then we're gonna

have the fatal four way, and obviously Seth Rowlans is going to win this one. I think Jay Lusha eats the pin here because the other two have got a lot of momentum and there are the two I'm saying Seampunk and and l A Knight, So yeah, I think this is a unanimous decision. I think this one's extremely obvious. I don't see Seth Rolins losing his title in a fatal four way, so yeah, I think that's that's what's

going to happen there. And looking at the other matches we've got and I'm suspecting aj Styles taking on Domastereo. Maybe aj Styles gets the victory here. This one's hot call. But whoever wins this match, I think is going to end up versing John Cena And that's my hot take.

So whoever it is, Johnsena said he wants to work with both of these guys, so yeah, I'm gonna go with Dom Masterio to keep the title just because he's the younger and more I guess over at the moment in terms of heal heat and heat to begin with so I think dom Mysterio keeps the title and that will lead to John Cena's a feud with John Cena.

Like Johnsen has yet to win the Intercontinental, not saying he's gonna win it, but that's a good storyline for John Cena to get into, maybe after brock Lesna, but definitely before or definitely after the match that's coming up between Logan Paul and Johnson at Crush in Paris, where I see John Cena getting the victory here and that will lead to this new Wresseltopia ship name for it so for my language, but terrible name for a pl But obviously given that it's gonna be an ESPN debut,

that's where I suspect that Johnson and brock Lesna will take each other on. But for now, this is going to be the filler match, and Johnson we'll get the victory here, I think clearly there to obviously get into the momentum of Brocoles now, so that's an easy one. And yeah, we've got the match between Seamus and and also Russev. So actually that's that's a pretty decent amount

of matches, so it might just be those five. We might not even see it Intocontinental or the Women's Championship, the Women's World Championship, but again it could be you know, ah styles in Paris, as I said, in France has a lot of heat. But anyway, I circle back to Shamus taking on Russov, and I've got to give credit for these two for landing a match here on a PRL. It shows that they're they're doing great work on raw

and their feud is pretty good. It's obviously not the biggest feud on the card, but again it's it's one where you can see tensions between the two. There's a lot of brawls and a lot of backstage fights, and and they've got a lot of history between each other as well, going back to the League of Nations and obviously having a few matches against each other too. So it's a perfect feud. And have done a really good job in hyping this up and building this up to

get on a PrV, So that's extremely impressive. I think that Russev will get the victory here only because here's the new superstar. He's the one that's came back looking fresh, looking different. It's come with a motive and I think they're gonna they're gonna propel that and push him up further, and it's gonna be a close one. It's really hard to sort of see who's gonna win, but I think we're all expecting a banger hear. It doesn't really matter

who wins that match. All that matters is that it's a good performance and we see two brutes just go at it and they'll be really exciting. But yeah, I think that pretty much concludes the matches of Clash in Paris. Again. I don't know what's going on with the Women's World Championship, but now that Naomi's relinquished there, so we'll have to wait to see what happens there. Whether they defend that in Crushing Paris or that fight as men, I don't know,

so I can't give a prediction there for that. The only thing I can probably say is that Stephanie Vecerria Ripley and the Sky will be involved somehow. But yeah, that's pretty much how I conclude Clash in Paris, and that's also how I'll conclude this week's episode of the Main Event review. So once again, thank you very much for for tuning in today into another episode Again, trying to in the plans to get the wrestling show on my podcast, The Huddle Within, which you guys can also

check out, I talk about different sporting topics. I've just done an episode on Premier League, the English Premier League that's soccer for you American listeners with a few Liverpool fans, and now I've got an Australian Rules one coming up

this week, and next week I'm doing NFL. So obviously NFL is not in my reign of full knowledge, but I'm going to get a few of my American buddies to talk NFL preseason, which I'm extremely excited about because yeah, in the last sort of two three years, I've become a very big NFL fan, So we'd love to talk about that on my part as much as much as I can talk about sports, I would love to, and again, I do want to have a separate wrestling show because I find that at the moment wrestling has been my

biggest passion and really want to just incorporate onto The Huddle Within. So again, if you're a general sports fan, check out check out the episodes there. Hopefully I can get a link on the description on this episode or else yeah, once the wrestling show comes in, once I sort of fix the logistics and have that setup, I'll definitely let you use no on the upcoming main event reviews.

I'm a mean for sort of sometime next month, so won't try to repeat it too much, but as soon as that gets launched, I definitely will let you guys know. But again, it's been another main event review and guys, and I'll catch you. I'll catch you guys next week. Cheers.
