Hello everyone, this is Memphis Mark coming to you from Mullet Manner, and we're gonna do a
combined effort tonight. We're gonna combine a little vengeance Day with the NXT review for two Sicks and in show tonight. Actually, the show was probably one of the better ones as far as the the performers, in ring ability tonight, as far as the strikes, the punches, the kicks. Seems like tonight everybody got it right. A very very few complaints, that's for sure. But let's get started from the start of the show at NXT, and
that's with Byron Saxton returning. I mean, I did not see that one coming, but I guess with some injuries and some other things going on here, you know, it's the start of you know, mister Saxton's return, and and they go from there into Mellow showing up is his kind of is true. Heel debut, he comes in with a chair and the crowd, the crowd verbally assaulted mellow Heim. They were doing the let's just say F and then they were using a U and yeah, and they were doing not
yet and yeah, they verbally assaulted him mellow tonight. But they go in from there because he comes out and he was like, Nope, not yet, y'all not ready for my explanation of what happened. So he gets up and he takes his chair and he leaves and they go in to a Vengeance
Day recap. And so what I decided to do was just to do my recap then, because you had the Dusty Rhodes Cup Finals to start that off, and that was a Wolf Dolls bron and Baron against Trick and mellow and Bronan and barn They didn't show that on the on the recap, but they came out on both custom choppers, very very cool and yeah, so a little bit later on it would be kind of matched. But you know, I really liked I got to say there was like Trick got a busted mouth
and this thing bron was running so fast. Later he quoted himself at like twenty three miles an hour. But he misses a move because he's he's not the tallest, he's just so he fits the mold so well that you just don't see it until you see him standing next to somebody. But he missed and the top rope but knocked his you know, knocked him in the next week, but he recovered. And uh and even Baron in this match did his first over the top rope dive and he did it better than uh another
guy that didn't make it over the rope. But uh, you know it could have been bad. Uh you know, but uh in the end, Mellow takes a spear for trick and Braun and uh Baron win the Dusty Cup. And then you had Died Jack and Joe Gacy, you know, Died Jack came out with a knight stick and uh and already but uh, you know, Gasey was ready. He had duct tape a baton. Uh will when the night stick was presented, that's when the baton collapsible baton came in.
But Gasey threw all the stuff in there, and uh it was a good match. Uh, you know, Died Jack wins it and in with the night stick. But although Casey did get to wear him out with the kindos sticking there, it's pretty dog gone good wearing out. But Dave Jack ends up winning that one. Let me see, Uh OTM against Tony d and Stacks. Uh, you know, Tony Di and Stax win, but OTM they came out with on like some chopper bikes, like low Ride of
California style, so kind of cool too the way they did that. So but uh and then let me see, they had rock Sand and Lyra for the title. Uh. And in this Lyra wore a head piece and like purple feathers and the feathers were all over the place. But Lola Ice comes in and and inserts her breakout contract and makes it a three way which pretty much screws it up and allows Lyra to win, which exil Roxanne. So uh yeah, so that's his upcoming match here in a little while. Uh
Dragon Lee against Oba Vinnie. Uh. Dragon Lee come out fast and Oba needs some needs some work, but so much bigger, so much stronger, and dragonly sold great but the power bomb lends it and then Riley and Alexis can get in it because uh, you've got the girls selling their calendar and uh, it's doing really good. So that in like thirty minutes, I heard Wade Berry but a palette tonight. But any way, they get into a fight because he's defending thea's an ava promo seems fake. All right,
don't be blaming and Axam are going to be this week. Uh. Then they show Rock saying and Lola fighting out of there, and then you got the dragon Off Dragon Trick with Mellow match and dragon Off is talking crap, I'll turn this match, and Trick's got a bloody mouth, and man, hey, you know, Trick at one time gets slammed to the floor. I mean, dragon Off does like two or three h bombs in a row.
But when it's all over, Mellow gets involved, as you'll see on the highlights, I'm sure you sing, and uh, yeah, the big turn happens, the big turn, So that is the uh and the crowd did go out with using that same if you comment, But there we go, there we go. But then we've got Baron and Brown the wolf Dogs. Well they're here for their party because they're turning them. They're turning them stone cold. Steve Austin kind of you know they're they're bad guys, but
they're good, uh, And so yeah, they're up there talking. You know, Baron brings up le Bron screw up and then Bron brings up his jumping over the ring and you know, and they call out Tony d and Stacks. So you're expecting Tony Dan Stacks to come out, but no, it's Axiom and Nathan Fraser. They come out to start their match. Little uh disrespect there, but uh yeah they're fighting Blade and Offie and this match now the Wolf Gold and they go over to the desk, go over and
do some commentating and everything. But man, the Fraser and Axiom and Blade and Offie, you know what you're gonna get out of these guys both well, Knafie and Blade are really more of the high flyers in this particular match. But you're gonna have the ground and pound, you're gonna have all the counter moves, You're gonna have everything in this match, and you do get it. And even during picture and picture, which is usually when they're walking
around talking and squawking, well they were actually throwing down. So I mean, really really good match. I mean, I gotta say, their punches around their timing was good. I'm usually not a and let's face it, an Alfhie and Blade have a chance for some main event time, but you know, because of the size and everything else. I mean, let's face it, Nathan and and Actual could make a great living in the mid card, but that's where they're gonna be on the main roster. But man,
this was it was really really uh surprisingly good. I mean just the like I said, the timing is a big deal with me, but in this
match they were They were really good. This is an a match. And then after they win, well I mean, uh, you know, Fraser and acts him to win up winning, but afterwards, afterwards Braun and Baron jump in clear the ring out and show that they're the wolf dog you know, good match, but they do call out because Tony dan Stacks do come out after they clear the ring and they're hollering for a match, and later Evil she she grants the match. So yeah, uh, and then you've
got the dragging off. Uh. He comes out and he gives Flowers to trick proper flowers, but then he calls out Mellow and he lets him know that if he doesn't come out, he's coming for him. Well, then of course the music starts in. Here comes oh not him, but die Jack, and die Jack comes out. Now. I have not been the biggest dye Jack fan, all right, I admit to that. But when died Jack and uh dragon Off get face to face, now, dragging Off
supposed draggon Off supposedly has a broken nose. And I don't know if any of y'all have ever experienced a broken nose. Unfortunately at least four to five times with me. I'll have to, you know, check my records. But been broke. Uh and uh, I've had to work, right, I've had to go right back to work after getting the broken nose. So not a great thing, okay. And the fact that he's in the ring, even if his nose is a little jacked up, it's gonna it hurts,
man, it hurts. Can't breathe right, your eyes water quick? But bra I mean, uh, die Jack delivers the best punch I've ever seen him throw in as far as the camera angle and the impact and what it's what it showed, died Jack's punch might be the best one of the year I've seen so far. He hits now, he hits him in the forehead. Now, die Jack's got a little spot in his forehead, so they're gonna bust it on open because I know the blood's gonna come anyway.
But died Jack hits him perfect and uh dragonof plays it to the nose, great shot. He hits him again in the clints when all the security gets out there. But that first punch best punch I've ever seen, uh died Jack throw and and uh dragon off that sold it perfect. It's just got a little blood, got a little blood. And this is another thing since the new company's taken over, are they going allow a little blood. We'll
just have to wait and see. But they do a little spot with Jacy, Jane and THEA and you know how they sold out the calendars and Jacy's dropping advice. It's Jac's advice line, that's right, and she tells THEA to play hard to get but is she working at Angle? And they got von Wagner and mister Stone. They got their kids out there. They're all happy, but they challenge No m and Mensa to a tag team. The kids. The kids get them into it. The kids. It's a kid's
fault. But from there they go to Lexus King that's right, uhs Riley Osborne of chase U and uh yeah, I gotta say in this one man, uh Lexus King. It might be the most old school guy in certain times. Man he I liked his moves. I like what he's developing. He's getting better and better, folks. But mister Osborne did do a chop us that I have to say was one of the best ones of the night.
So the match is good. But of course Riley's distracted that THEE is not there because she's playing hard to get in as n x T turns turning next week for the next week's episode. But yeah, a good match. Alexis King wins because Riley is uh is uh hunting? Uh he got Miss Jordan a little promo with her and uh yeah, you got count of James And is he uh down there intimidating the old workout girl, the old uh you know hype up. Uh yeah. So they poor or drink in the
trash. You gotta do something about that, don't you. Mellow comes out with his chair and sits down in the ring. Now the crowd's going after him. And the one thing that really showed up to me is, man, that guy's got a great hairline. That guy's got a great hairline. Now it's not like my hairline's gone. But Game represents game, you know, or recognizes game and a good hairline. But uh yeah, he uh he really he does a good promo. He does a good promo. He
really at times has the crowd so uh so wound up. They're kind of kind of eating out of his hands. Uh you know he uh of course they have to to uh mute out a little of the crowd, but uh yeah, uh he wants to let everybody know his side. And uh you know that that trick should not be biting the hand, and that trick went after the wrong belt. Yeah, and that trick's not on the same level.
That's uh that's why I did it. You know, that's a but he says he's laid up in the hospital right now with with Booker T because he brings cuts on his music like he's going to come out and the crowds I whooped it. And uh of course he gets up and dances a little bit, and uh it's the ultimate tease. He gets the crowd with that. But uh yeah, he told him pretty much, Uh, trick, Uh, you're just a trick. That's what he said. He was just a hype man, but pretty dog gone good promo. I mean the show
up to now it's just freaking good. Uh you know, you know what I'll tell you, you know, Uh, I mean I'd go back and watch I would. And then the next the next match is uh, Lolavice against Roxanne because Roxanne is mad and she's the prodigy. Uh but she Lola comes out with some good karate moves. But but Roxanne is mad. Uh and she comes on and uh Lola Ice does to get to put butt to
face and everything. But man, Roxanne threw some good punches. And I don't know if the camera angles were just better than I but man, everybody was laying solid punches. Now, Lola did have to wait a couple of times to where like she's got to act more stunned to give the the you know, Roxanne time to climb to the top rope or do her gets set up for her move. But other than that, good match. But you got Tatum Pasley coming in and she's got the breakout tournament foe her like she's
trying to trying to turn it in. Lola puts a big old kick upside her head and uh yeah rocks and uh pop pul rocks and uh yeah, she wins. All right, so let me see after that, you got a little promo with a metaphor and uh they accept Von Wagner and mister Stone, but uh then uh damon Kempenden boys they come out and uh a little stir, little stir calls there, a little stir. But then you got Valin and uh Wrenn Saint Clair against Lash and Jacara Jackson, Miss Jackson.
But man, Valin gets caught up in the bron ropes and it's gonna cause him to win this match. But the match is not bad. I'm saying it. This is a good show. This is a really good show. Now I didn't particularly like the great ending on this, but Lash gets a
big choke slam and uh bam they win. She pins uh Miss Saint Clare and at the end, Saint Clair's going, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, man, I was I ain't you daven for uh but uh man, uh, I don't know if Lash just hadn't had enough time in the ring or what's up with her, but they need to be showcasing her a little bit more. But uh, just my opinion. And then uh, you got Briggs and Jensen out there, and uh, well it was a little tough love tonight, a little shoving, a little say don't be crying, don't
be whining. Uh you know, but I like it's like two brothers, you know kind of Hey, quit quite all the whining. You know. There again another another good promo. Uh. And then you got you got Ava Yeah okay, uh she does a spot and uh yeah, maybe he does a spot. All right. Then you've got dragon Off dragging off against die Jack and after that best punch, you know he's gonna go after that same thing. And this is another good match. The punches look great.
Uh the you know both guys are doing. Man, I just got to say it's a dog com good match. You know that there was a time that man, Uh, I mean, look like let me see. Uh uh, let's see. We got dragon Off drugging off. I do not understand the chop. He does a bunch of chops on die Jack and one was to the leg. Didn't understand that one, and uh, his forehead, man, his forehead was jacked. And he did do a deep squat to pick up died Jack, which is man looks but died Jack springboarding over
the top rope. I mean, of course he's going after his nose and everything. But then you got gey and Gaysy's under the ring. Now Gaysey reaches out. He just reaches out in touch somebodied his hand, but he reached out and kind of Dijac didn't know what was going on. So the match continues, and then eventually died Jack ends up over the side of the rope or or up under the bottom rope, pulls up on the apron a little bit to let him know exactly where's at and uh, on gleasy,
on gleasy. He comes out with a stick with a boxing glove on the end and uh he comically hits uh died Jack, and died Jack falls back, which he falls into dragging Off's web and az, I are he uh he uh, he takes care of it. He takes care of it. So there you go, folks. That's pretty much how it ends there. You know, the dragon Off it comes out with another great win, and so it's all over. But oh maybe it isn't. Mellow jumps in there and does the same little clip block there to uh to whoop that trick.
He does it to dragon Off, takes the dragon Off down, dragging off his foot. This is the wisht But dragon Off is down and uh yeah, so mellow uh lets him know. Uh he gets back up and U hits him with his belt, so uh yeah, we know where his mind is. And uh but what's gonna happen when Trick comes back? What's gonna happen when Booker t comes back? Well, folks, next week you'll just have to turn in and find out. But uh yeah, good show to not you know, a solid, solid show. Go back and watch this,
folks, go back and watch it. It's worth your time. And are they bringing blood back? Is blood the new thing in twenty four? What changes away? As folks, Well, that's what this wacky world will just show us the rest of the year.
