This is WWW superstar Drew McIntyre and you're listening to the WWE podcast show, the one that everybody wants me to start. Sixteen says, just clist your ass is mad. You're gonna like mail train and welcome to the w w E Podcast Mailbag. It is Wednesday, July nineteenth, twenty twenty three. Let's get into those emails. If you want to join us on the email portion of the show, you can email us at Mailbag at WWE podcast dot com. And as patrons of the show, you guys get priorities. So

let's dive into those patron emails. And again if you want to join patrons and you want to get an ad free experience and priority placement Patreon dot com slash ww podcast. All right, let's start with Frank, and Frank says, this is Frank again, going to start off with the Rock and his possible return to face rolland I think he needs to show up on SmackDown, cut a promo with Roman face to face, and then demand a match at

WrestleMania for the head of the table. Second. Okay, so before we get to your second point, I have no problem with them announcing the match now and building to WrestleMania. They can easily fill six to eight months whatever it is to WrestleMania. They could easily do that. Even if the title's not on the line, which I have been a very big advocate of it not being on the line. There they could easily fill this. Now, your stipulation is, whoever, who's the head of the table? Well,

what does that mean? You win? Right? If a title's not on the line and it's just Pride, I guess you could brand that Pride as head of the table. Who's the true head of the table? Again, what does that actually result in? I don't know? I mean, what does that mean? You know what I mean? It's I don't hate it. I get it because you could use that narrative as the Rocks the true head of the table. He hasn't spoken yet and he's an elder, and

you know, you could absolutely use that. But it's like, what does that manifest itself as? So all right? Second, I feel Roquell Rodriguez needs to face Rhea for the title. I feel the street prophets are going to join a new generation of herd business. Yeah I never talked about that, but the herd business in Bobby Lashley. He kind of came out of nowhere. I figured he'd be the next opponent for Roman reigns, but not yet, I guess. So it seems as if it could be the Hurt

Business two point zero something like that. I mean, maybe not exactly that name, but that's probably where they're going. Is a faction, a baby face faction I would imagine to oppose Roman and Solo or you know whatever. I don't know, but yeah, that that is an interesting dynamic. I know they teased for a while the Hurt Business getting back together. That went nowhere, and now it seems as if Bobby's gonna take Angela, Dawkins and

Montez forward under his wing. I guess. So we'll see where that we're seeing that goes. All we did was see them get into limo and leave. So I mean, I'm an interesting I'm interested, no doubt about it. Alrighty, let's thank you, Frank. Let's get to our next email, and who who's up next? We've got Darren and Darren says, I hope all as well. I was thinking of an early summer Slam prediction and wanted to hear your thoughts. I don't think the match is even official yet.

But if we get Oscar versus Bianca versus Charlotte, I think it turns out to be a great match. Charlotte wins, but then EO cashes in her money in the bank and wins. This way, Charlotte can say she's a fifteen time champion. Something else I could see is that's happening, though, is when EO cashes in, maybe Bailey breaks up the pin and to turn on EO. Which one do you think is more likely? Good question? Yeah, I mean I think we're both on the same page. That

Oscar as champion is. It's very whole hum nobody's really inspired or excited about it. I mean, no one hates it, no one loves it. It's just kind of there, and that's weird to stay with somebody as talented as Oscar is in the ring. But a lot of it has to do with us seeing the ceiling and limitations of her promos that just aren't there. And so when you can't connect with the character and you know what that ceiling is, you know, your level of emotional investment decreases. That said,

yeah, Oscar losing, no one's going to really care too much. Charlotte winning makes sense, But you're right, does EEO cash in and then Bailey turns? Or does be Bailey not even let EO cash in? I think more likely is that you killed her birds with one stone. Your first scenario is more likely. You knock another another number off of Charlotte's rain, so you get her closer to that sixteen time. Maybe she can get that at

Mania or something. It'll be a special moment tying her father. And you also have EO win, get the belt off of Oscar, which no one's going to shed a tear over, and I believe it'll be EO's first championship victor singles championship victory on the main roster. And you also have an immediate opponent, a fresh matchup of Bailey and EO. I really like that scenario. In fact, that's like four birds with one stone. Instead of having Bailey stop her, I think Bailey would look at it as I think I

can beat EO. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer kind of deal, and that I'd get it. I've had I'd have a better shot of beating EO than I would Charlotte. I'm gonna let her EO cash in, help her win and then turn on her. Yes, there's like four birds with one stone. Thanks Darren, great question, and I really like that scenario. All right, let's go, let's go. Dj Kuzmo. He

says, Hello, a w and W podcast World, dj Kuzmo. He's back at it again and still our WWE Women's Champion aka the SmackDown Woman's Champion, the Empress uff Tomorrow Oscar boy, I gotta say, that's just a matter of time, just a matter of time, whether SummerSlam or Payback, that Oscar finally loses the title to either Bianca or Charlotte. It's also it's funny how we're all we're saying, finally she just wanted, you know what I mean, and people are like, oh, finally, I mean she

she just got it. So but that's how we all feel. It's just kind of right. So you said that creative is really stretching this storyline with these women. Hopefully this Friday we finally get the triple threat announced. The potential triple threat for this year's SummerSlam reminds me of the Triple Threat including Oscar, Rha and Charlotte from that WrestleMania Backlash twenty twenty one for the RAB Women's Championship. Seriously, WrestleMania backlash, man, those were the days. Yeah,

no one would. I wouldn't have remembered that if you didn't just tell me that DJ and WrestleMania backlash. Yeah, stop stop the pain. Right. As far as adding WrestleMania to any other pay per view other than WrestleMania is, it's just it's nonsense. But anyway, Ria pinned Osca via the riptide to retain the championship. What about the other triple threat of Nicky versus Ria versus Charlotte at Summertime twenty one when Nikki was a transitional champion but then

got pinned by Charlotte to win back the Raw Women's Championship. Anyway, I had to refer back to those matches to say this my early prediction here for this proposed women's triple at SummerSlam, where I see that Oscar gets pinned by Bianca. Bianca then feuds with Charlotte for two more pls and then probably Eo cashes in in title opportunity because Osca, to no fault of her own, is just a transitional champion and is oddly placed in this proposed triple threat even

though she's the current champion. Yeah, it's weird to say, right like that Osca is a transitional champion, Like Osca is a transitional champion, but she is, She's not a destination. I mean, let's be honest, and maybe, just maybe for most of y'all that wanted it so badly, a possible Bianca he'll turn at or after summer slim fingers crossed, Yes,

fingers crossed for sure. One more thing to add. Interesting to see what's next for what seems to be a new faction brewing with Bobby Lash Bobby lashlely Montes and Angelo. And if this group will include include the free agents of MVP and Omas and maybe just maybe include Bianca bel Air. Anyways, DJ, who's the most signing off? Yeah, it's funny you mentioned that. And I didn't think about bringing Omas and MVP into the group, but if they want to make kind of a supergroup, they could do it. I

would advise against not too many members, but Omas is do nothing. MVP is a great mouthpiece and having him be the center, the center mouthpiece for that group, sign me up, man, I mean, let's let's go. Everyone in that group needs it, like everyone in that group needs each other. Bobby doesn't isn't doing anything right now. Omas isn't doing anything right now. The street profits have been on a slide for like the last year and a half. An MVP is a great talker. Everyone needs everyone.

Let's go, That's what I say. All right, we'll get to your mailbag shortly or if your mahana reports shortly. DJ let's go to Let's go to Diego from Honduras, Central America, and he says, let me talk to you. I just wanted to share my thoughts on who I think should dethrone Roman. I know you're not a fan of Cody Rhodes, but I truly believe that there will be no one better to do it. He is the biggest baby face on the roster and he is ready to face be the

face of the company. He's doing a great job on TV and outside of it. Plus, he has mentioned that the only way to finish the stories to win the Undisputed Championship, since that was the championship his father never won. There is no one else that has a storyline attached to them winning the title and breaking one of the biggest runs in wrestling history and'll only make it that much more significant. It's just a fact of life. Yeah, keep

up with the good work. Hope your families well, have a great week. Well thanks diego you as well. And here's the thing with Cody. You know, I'm softening up a little bit to him. I never hated him on like a personal level, even professionally. I just thought he was miscast and was concerned when he came up, especially when he came back from the injury. He's number thirty in the Rumble and wins the rumble that just

wasn't thought out well bad. It seems very just handed to him. And then he comes out in the suits and he uses big words all the things that I've said, you know, over the last six months. But hey, the crowd continues to chant along with him. I think his music is a big help. But Cody is a very good promo. He is very good in the ring. Feels like a polished, polished wrestler at this point,

very few rough edges. Is he perfect? No, But no one in wrestling I don't care who you are is, So I don't dislike Cody Rhodes doing it I really don't. You know, I don't have the same anger towards Cody that some may think. Is he the perfect baby face from my taste, No, but I understand why people love him, and he's tolerable, he's enjoyable to watch. He's just not someone that I would sit

there and go, yeay, my hero. You know. I think sometimes he's too transparently pandering to the fans, telling us on Raw for example, Oh he loves us and enjoy the night, and he's just like one of us. Stop, you know, stop the pain. That kind of stuff is what I don't like. But some people don't care about that, and that's cool. You know. It doesn't change the fact that he stands head and shoulders above a lot of other guys and he continues to get monster reactions.

So I don't hate. I wouldn't hate if Cody is the one to beat Roman. I really wouldn't. And here's the funny thing. I don't think WWE even knows who this person is, who that person is to dethrow Roman. Anthony DeMarco and I talked on the current state of w WE this past week, and we kind of landed on the fact that or I did anyway, I don't want to speak for him that the run that Roman's having is. Ultimately I think it gonna be about the run and not the person

who beats him. I think that because at this point you're building up to such a high expectation and building to an individual that is going to have to check so many boxes. That's unrealistic that you worry more about the legacy than you are the person that ends it and that stops the streak. Sure it'll be a big moment, it'll get social media buzzing, but at the end of the end of the day, what are the documentaries going to be about.

What's the conversation going to be about. Ultimately, as time goes on, it's going to be about Roman's legacy. Who he beat over those X amount of days when it could have ended, you know, who they should have ended it against, and some of his best matches over that run.

I really think, while again in the moment, we're more worried about the person that ends it, I think the focus really should be on his body of work and the storyline over these many years and again we're still in it, rather than building to this person that is supposed to be picture perfect, unrealistic. Standard's got to be young, up and coming, the next Austin Hogan or Rock you know, just just completely is a polished guy that you

can use to spring their career to the next level. Right now, there's nobody on the roster like that. Again, my pick would be Gunther. Cody Rhodes is a suitable choice as well, among others, even Seth Rollins. I've said that before. Seth Rollins could but the argument is, well, Seth is a made guy. So you know, there's that Seth is not really He's not the green guy anymore by any stretch. So anyway, thanks for that, diego Let's get too true when they get too Mason,

Mason says, let me talk to you. You guys love La night. I love it so first, what the hold on? What the I'm not gonna swear here, It's just I'm trying to make sure this I'm reading it correctly. Do you know what happened to Dakota Kai from Damage Control? She hasn't met on TV in a while, even though Bailey and Eosky have I believe she's injured. If I'm not mistaken, I think Dakota Kai is injured.

Second, just fantasy booking, But what if Jay versus Roman happens that After Roman wins, he's like, you will never be the tribal chief and all that bs and then the Rock comes out and a black hoodie everyone in ww B seems to own comes into the ring. Rock bottoms. Roman takes the hood off and says, who's the tribal chief now or something like that. Yeah. Here's the thing though, um I don't think the Rock would do the black hoodie deal like Sammy Zane did after he was He was kind

of like the rebel in disguise. He's like the shadow man in the night attacking the group. You know that that? Um, I don't think that suits the Rock. You want to do the full entrance. You want to do the pop in circumstance. You want that moment. You want it as much of attention on it as possible. You want the full entrance of the Rock. I understand what you're saying, but when they first meet face to face, you want it as long and drawn out as possible. You don't

want this kind of surprise Rocks in a hoodie? What No, you want that if your spell? You want that so I don't dislike it if that happens along the way, but you don't want it in the very first confrontation with these two. Third. This week's question for the listeners, if you get to add the stipulation to Brock versus Cody at SummerSlam, what would it be? That's all I got talking next week? Thanks Mason, good questions, So everybody, if you could add a stipulation to Brock versus Cody at

SummerSlam, what would that stipulation be to you? Great question, My answer. Three Stages of Hell. A big fan of it. The only thing is it's a bit predictable in that ninety nine point nine percent of them, not all, but the vast vast majority all go the three falls. It's just a matter of who wins the first. Whoever wins the first is going to lose the second because you know they're going to get to a third.

Outside of that, I'd like to psychology. One of my favorite three Stages of Hell matches of all time came in what was it two thousand and two between Stonecold and Triple H. When it was revealed that Triple H was the he was either no, he wasn't the driver but he he co conspirated with Rakishi to run down Austin that Survivor series the Private prior year. By the way, I think that was a three Stages of Hell in two thousand and one. I think it was all one before the two man Power Trip.

All right, cool, let's go, let's get to Let's get to Luke and he says, hey, ww podcast, this is Luke from Raleigh. A couple of things for this week. Number one, it's like triple H and creative. Read my email last week. Bobby lastly looks to be maybe on the way back. I'm excited about his potential partnership with the Street Profits. If the three of them team up, who would you like to see

join them? Any factions you'd want to see them feud with if they go this route, I hope it eventually turns Montees into the single star many of us think he can be. So, I mean, I kind of already answered this because of a previous suggestion of Mvpino mass as kind of making this a supergroup, an unstoppable I mean, if that happens, I mean, I don't know who to have them oppose again. And here's the problem. The blood Line is fractured in a big way, a big way. It's

only Roman and Solo left. Paul Hayman's useless. So with Jay and Jimmy supposedly going their separate way after SummerSlam and Roman and Solo going their own way, the blood Line is a two man group right now. And if they're a heel group and you have a baby face that significantly outnumbers the Heels, that doesn't make sense. Yeah, I don't know. I'd say imperium, but they're un raw. This is an interesting conundrum as far as Montes turning

into the single star. Yeah, we've been talking about that here on the show and others as well have been on other shows of Montes being that's breakout star, and he is, and you know, it seems as if they're going to double down on not giving him a singles push because they're seemingly going to be putting him in not a tank team now, but a group he's gonna be part of, like more people instead of fewer. So eventually, look, Montes, I think will be a breakout star. I think it's

just a matter of patience and timing. Number Twoe must be really high on Grayson Waller Sina Edge and now letting him directly bring up the rock and a promo, who should his first real program b with on the main roster. Yeah, it is very telling that they allowed Grayson Waller to bring up those three men, you know, consecutively. But as I look at the SmackDown roster, I mean I have to pull it up to come up with somebody. I mean, you could do AJ Styles. There's a guy, he's

already had his quick match with Edge. I think that's kind of a one and done. Austin theory doesn't make sense. They're both heels, and Austin theories got his hands full with La Night. I think AJ Styles is a nice landing spot. How about that? Okay, thank you so much, Luke, and let's see a couple more. Let's get to Rebecca. Rebecca says one thought on Money in the Bank, even though it's well over, if only Becky Lynch had been handcuffed to Trish Stratus, that would have been

more magical in my opinion. Yeah, certainly that could have been a finish, But I guess that was kind of a missed opportunity. And I see what you're saying, And yeah, no, it's just I'm trying to wrap my mind around money the bank. It feels like one hundred million years ago. So also, this whole thing about WWE stars showing up an NXT. I've started following the storylines of NXT thanks to that, So it's making a

great marketing ploy. What do you think about Dirty Dom's future. I don't feel like he has the skill set for WWE, or do you think that's just the way he's being portrayed. I hate to see him leave WW for an XT simply because I love to hate him. I'm a fairly new fan of WWE, and I love all the angles of pro wrestling, the characters, of the marketing, the athleticism. It's great. Well, that's awesome,

Rebecca, that you are number one a new fan. You know, I don't talk to me any new fans, So it's cool, you know, you get that fresh perspective. What's that person thinking? Most fans that listen to wrestling podcasts most are seasoned fans, So it's cool that somebody brand new with a fresh set of eyes is coming in. That's very awesome, very very cool, Rebecca. So welcome to the show. Welcome to Pro wrestling. So and by the way, don't let your friends make fun of

you for being a wrestling fan. It kind of comes with the territory. But it's easy to Rebut so all right, So first of all, and I mean this very seriously, I don't mean this in a facetious or condescending way. NXT is WWE. So if you didn't, you're again you're a new fan. Maybe you don't know, maybe you're not aware NXT is part of w WE, so he you know, the NXT is it's kind of

the in house developmental for w WE. It's they look at it off and as kind of the third brand, although it hasn't been really respected in that way. It's been much, very much a one way street when it comes to n XT being the feeding grounds for the quote unquote main roster. But sometimes you see people come back and make an impact. Finn Ballard did it, Baron Corbyn's done it. The Judgment Day Now have done it, Kevin Owens did it. So when they go back, it feels special. So

for Dom to do this. And by the way, winning the NXT North American title from Wesley, I love it. I put this on Twitter. I just love it. I think. Follow me on Twitter by the way at the w w podcast. So look, dirty Dom is name another heel, a bad guy in WWE that gets as negative of a reaction as Dom does. I can't. Dom is the biggest heel in the company. People

won't even let him speak. So I'm very high on Dom's future. And I really believe that they would have loved to have put a world title on them, or a US title on them but right now, or an Intercontinental in his case because he's unrobbed. But everything is tied up somewhere else right now. Nothing's aligning with Dom being able to do that. The World Heavyweight Championship with Seth it doesn't work yet, so they had to go back to

NXT. It creates a buzz on NXT. You're right. It brings fans that are just watching the main roster that maybe don't watch NXT and encourage him to watch NXT. So I like that. You're right. It is marketing, but their business. Good for them. They should do that, and people are now tuning in to see that match, and I like it. I think Dom as champion is it's a match made in heaven. People already

hate him and that's a good thing. And to put gold on a guy you already hate or a gal that you already hate just intensifies the hatred. It makes you want to see somebody come along and beat that person even more So. I love this. I have no problem with why he's being portrayed he I think. I mean, he absolutely has the skill set. Is he completely polished? And at times does he feels like he's overwhelmed by the moment? Sure, you know he's had that, but he's getting more comfortable

in his own skin by the week. And what the magic that he has with re Ripley right now is hard to duplicate. I think he's more than ready for the main roster. Is he ready for the main event? Man, I don't know if I go that far, but in ring, I've got no problem with him. He may look like he's, you know, a senior in high school, but he can go and the people hate him and that's honestly the most important part. So yeah, well, welcome to

the crazy world of pro wrestling. Rebecca. Enjoy it all, right, let's get to let's get the Chandler, and Chandler says, hey ww podcast, I'm one day removed from Raw in Atlanta in my throat is shredded. I haven't listened to the Raw review yet, so I don't know if you have any comments in the crowd. But I thought we were pretty good, but that's just bias. Then i'd started. Well, no, you guys

were really good. I enjoyed definitely. The n I started with two main event matches, Apolo Cruz versus j D McDonough and Riddick Moss versus a Kirozoa. Do you mean Riddick Moss or yeah, so you know, uh, Riddick Moss obviously has become mad Cat Moss, so I'm not sure maybe he is back to Riddick. So Apollo versus j D was actually a very entertaining match, and of course the Riddick Moss match was a snooze fest. Well

that's yeah, I do. I do believe Apollo and JD was good, and the Riddick and a Carrot Dezawa, I mean, zero builds, zero investment, just kind of getting minutes in front of the crowd. It's hard to get invested, and it's up to the Allen to put on a great wrestling match to get people involved and disappointing to hear. But okay, they kicked off the show with Cody, which was a good choice because he's the hometown boy, and the crowd went absolutely crazy. But it's hard to care

when this is just the same thing every week. Brock attacks Cody and that's that's it. Brock never says anything. I understand he's not the good on the mic, but how hard is it to cut a simple promo that anyone else can put together? Okay, I really don't want to go off the deep end on this. Brock found his voice when he was a baby face. He could easily translate that he's an intelligent human being to a heel Brock

he doesn't really particularly care anyway. I mean, he shouldn't worry about embarrassing himself, which he's not. But it's not like when he was in two thousand and two, two thousand and three, when he was, you know, just getting his feet wet. He was worried, you know, very nervous on the mic. He doesn't care anymore, so I don't want to hear that as an excuse. And again, anyone could cut the promos that I'm asking for the bar that I'm asking for is so low anyone listening in

the sound of my voice could cut them. What I mean is just give us reasons, even if they're stupid. At least it tells us that you cared enough to tell us why. Yeah, and I agree, it is getting a bit formulaic. So anyway, all right, let's see we got Riddle versus Gun Through was short but always entertaining. Those chops were horrible in person, everyone was grimacing at everyone. Of course, we booed dom and that's always fun and was exciting to hear there was going to be a tag

team title match. The Viking Rules match was surprisingly very good, one of the best matches of the night, very hot crowd. That's interesting because that was not a part of the Hulu version of Raw, so that's interesting to note. Shana and Nikki Cross, what can you say about that? I don't know why they had a match when they could have just done the promo. But the Rhonda promo didn't seem as bad as usual. I don't know if it seemed better because I was in person or what. Yeah, I'll

give you that. I mean, Ronda Rousey as awkward as she is, the content of her promo was okay. The delivery. She needs to slow the hell down. That would not She's always had this thing to not only the stupid side smile that she does or it's kind of like Becky Lynch pucking her pucking up her lips every time she finishes a sentence. There's one that

you'll never unseem, but it's Ronda with a stupid side smile. But also she's had this problem of not speaking loudly, clearly and slowly, and it's it's been a problem for a while with Ronda, since she debuted in WWE five years ago, so it's been it's been an issue. But as far as the match goes, I don't mind Nikki getting minutes or seconds in this case in front of a crowd. Also, it was just to establish It was just to establish Nikki, or rather Shana as a badass that she can

beat someone seconds with her submission. That's what it was. That that's the purpose of it. Shin's Gay versus Bronson was okay. I was in my seat and it felt like I was about to fall asleep until Champa came out. The tag title match was by far the match of the night, very hot throughout the whole match. It just sucks they didn't have Rolins come out till the end. Yeah, that was a bit surprising too, but I would agree with the match itself being the match of the night. I almost

forgot about the women's tag title match. The end was kind of sloppy to me, and the crowd was dead at the end. But still cool to see a title change. Yeah, I mean it always feels even if it's as insignificant as the women's tag titles, which is just what it is, it does feel cool when you're there to see a title change. So cool. Thanks Chandler. Gleadi enjoyed rowing. Atlanta sue, let's see here, let's go. Where am I going going to? I'm not sure who the

Tommy Tommy? Here we go, Here we go, Tommy. Tommy says, this is my first time to the mail bag. I love the shows. It seems like the Miss falls back to his goofy serial loser character and hosting me as TV before or TV being his niche. Yeah, that's been

my thing. Everyone was so excited and overjoyed that the Miss showed some serious kind of promo with Champa, and then he's back to being bullied by Becky Lynch and being just the butt of every joke the tiny balls come back, all the nonsense, all the sophomoric humor, it all gets undone so quickly. And that's why I tweeted it out, and people are coming at me and I said, look, the Miss is capable of having a serious character.

The problem is there's five percent of that and then ninety five percent of this. That's a problem if you're looking for if you're looking for a serious run from the Miss, I just cannot take him seriously. He's been in WW since what oh four with the whole Hurrah thing on SmackDown, remember that, And since that time he has shown nothing to me that would get that would on a consistent basis, show me he can be a serious character.

He is perpetually the butt of a joke on the Miss TV platform primarily. So all right, So I heard you mentioned the statistics that they lost nine hundred ninety four matches thus far. An easy creative direction for the Miss. I would take him to nine hundred ninety seven and nine hundred ninety eight, then have a superstar make mention of the big one thousand losses from Miss and then proceed to beat him so he falls onto nine hundred ninety nine losses.

Then Miss should defeat this blemish and stay on his legacy throughout the entire twenty twenty three until it becomes a mini streak. Other superstars want to rub want the rub from It could climax and Miss going for a little for a title shot and his streak ending and taking his one thousandth loss or winning the world title. It would be a contrast to Romans one thousand day run. Maybe it could re establish miss for another year and actually give him some interest to

his stale persona. So the problem with this is wwwe never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever ever mentions wins and loss records. They may mention, oh it's a rubber match, they each have a victory, but it's on a very very small scale. They almost never mention total wins and losses. I don't think I've ever heard that in my twenty five years of

watching wrestling. Never So that, while I'm on board for doing something for the Misses character to make him interesting and not just so just formulaic every week, I don't think they'll do it because it's never been done. That's a bad reason. I should say something that's never been done actually should be done, but I just given the precedent that they've sent it almost never happens. If ever, I've never heard it. I really hope you can find created

for Ala Knight. He's my favorite on the roster. He has that edge and feel of nostalgic lineage to the attitude are keep up the awesome work, Tommy PS. I'm not a miss fan, so I do think that they are figuring out what to do with Ala Knight. They are going to place him in the United States title picture, presume a having him win. Although I made a case as to why they should actually not have him win the US title, I still think they will and have him live there for a

while until it's time for him to move to the next level. Whenever that is, now, what's that next level? Could he be the one to actually beat Roman? Let's see how the US title run goes first, Let's see if the crowd reactions sustain or increase. That is I think what ww's looking for. They're looking to make sure this isn't just a fad I think, and I don't think it is a La Night. The love for La

night is I feel genuine it's not a fandango. Remember him when everyone was doing the Fendango dance one night after WrestleMania and at WrestleMania and then after that the crowd didn't do it at all and no one cared about fendango or fandango. Remember that. So I think that they're looking for sustainability from the crowd, which ultimately is the reason he's in the position he's in right now.

So I think that they he's going to live in the US title picture for a while until he's Wwe has the stage set for him to move to that next level, and he is. He's a walking nostalgia. He's walking. He's the embodiment of nostalgia, I think, which is why a lot of fans are gravitating to him, and he just feels different than any for everyone else. The way he speaks is just His promos are really I think what has done it for him his promos and of course yet his look, his

in ring. I mean, it's no one's talking about his inn ring ability. That's not good or bad, it's just not what has gravitated fans to him. So good stuff. Thanks Tommy, alrighty, let's let's continue. Let's get to I think one more. Let's think this is it? This is it? So this is I say that's it, but I might have one more. I lie so much on this show. So this is from let me get the name. I don't open these guys until you're with me on the show live. I don't have a name, so maybe we'll find

out throughout the show or throughout this email. So this is from random, a random listener, and it's a new fan perspective. So this person says, I'll assume it's a heat. So for a long time I didn't follow wrestling while with it not being easily accessible when I was growing up. But since Money in the Bank came to the UK, I thought I would check it out. Before the last match I watched was Royal Rumble two thousand, which for some strange reason was not a pay per view in the UK and

was on normal TV despite no other wrestling shows being on normal TV. I believe that's him on the Rock didn't the Rock win, but he actually lost when Big Show end him went over at the exact same time, and it actually ended up being The Rock who won, even though video footage proved he didn't something like that, I believe. So now I've been hooked watching the main event or main shows every week since Money in the Bank. But there

are a few things that people don't seem to talk about. So why wondered if these were just new fan things coming in or well established ground that people don't need to talk about it anymore. The first is I don't understand the hype around La Night. Nothing I've seen from him in the past couple of weeks seems to give me any understanding of why he is a fan favorite. And he has just been as bland as Ricochet. So yeah, it's fun to hear from fans that are just watching and going, and I'd agree if

I just popped in, I go, what's the big deal? This has been a long time coming for La Night. This goes back several months when he was in the Pitch Black match look that up with Bray Wyatt six months ago, maybe more, and he cut great promos against Bray. He was buried against bray Wyatt in just a few minutes. But the fans have gravitated to him because he feels like a throwback to the Attitude era. I think in part, I don't care if people say he's a rip off of Austin

or The Rock. I don't really care. The fact is he's over. To me, that wouldn't be a knock on him. It's working, So who the hell cares, you know, like people think that's a knock he's a rip off. Even if he was a direct ripoff, Who the hell cares? If it works, you know what I mean. So, but I think that that's in part he feels different. His music is also a little different. He's older, he's not a young guy, so he feels like he's kind of a more mature, polished wrestlers, not this like bright

eyed young buck that's coming up, no pun intended. He just I can't sometimes describe it. This is the difficult part of that X factor. That's the best way I can describe it. And I think also with WWE not getting behind him, the fans like to sometimes go against the system to tell w W what to do, and sometimes by not pushing somebody, the fans will want somebody to be pushed. So I think there's a little bit of that. There's it's a multitude of things. That's the best I can describe

it. So let's see, speaking of bland, Ronda Rowsey and SHANEA. Basler are so bland. I keep confusing which one is which, But at least this makes them feuding over which one is the knockoff of a realistic I'll not knockoff a realistic few because I can't tell them apart. You can't tell the Ronda Rowsey and SHANEA Baseler apart. I mean they are quite different looking. Their styles may be similar in the ring kind of they are. Their

promos have been about who's the knockoff. I'll give you that. There hasn't been a whole lot of substance other than just, oh, you know, I'm the one, I'm the reason you're here, and Shane is like, I'm a better Roonda Rousey than you are. And that's pretty much been it. That's been the crux of the whole thing. But as far as which one is which, I mean, there's a lot of physical differences. Just pull up a side by side of Ronda and Shana and you'll very quickly realize

they are nowhere near the same person. Okay, for the complete opposite of the spectrum, Shinsky has become a quick favorite of mine with an obvious in ring personality and a dramatic flair to want to see more of him, But he hasn't won a single match since Money in the Bank despite being featured heavily. Is this kind of losing streak normal? And what do you expect to see things? Big things for him at all? I don't expect to see big things from him. He's a guy that has been at the top of

the mountain. He was in the main event of WrestleMania several years ago, believe it or not. He won the World Rumble several years ago. Don't put me on the spot of which rumble, like seven eight years ago something around that. And since that time, he's been Intercontinental Champion. He's been kind of an in house enhancement talent. He's been a heel, he's been a baby face. He's just kind of sitting in the mid card. He is the definition of mid card right now. Occasionally we'll bump up to upper

mid card, but never main event at least anymore. He maybe he can absolutely perform at that level, but I think, just like Osca on the women's side of things, he's limited by promo, his inability to cut a promo that can connect with fans because of a language barrier. Is the barrier, I think a big one, So I don't expect big things. He may float in and out of the US title picture, but I don't think he's ever going to be a world champion ever. Again, it's just not

I just don't think it's in the cards for him. But I see why you're you're gravitated to him, and also his entrance music is pretty intoxicating, so all right, let's see. Finally, I would say with no uncertainty that the highlight of w B for me personally is rear Ripley in the Judgment Day. Her and Domas have such great ring presence. I just want to see more of them. I don't understand why Don went back to NXT when he has signed a RAW, but I will watch any Judgment Day site or

a story. At this point, they have been a highlighted, There's no doubt about it. I wouldn't touch dom or Ria or and that any of anybody in that group right now. I know that there's eventually going to be a split between finn and Damian priests. There'll be a program there, maybe sooner than later. But right now, I like the way that they are presently constituted. I like especially the core of that group obviously is Rea Ripley and Dom, and they're the heart of that group. And yeah, I

think he I mean he went to NXT. I know he's drafted to ROB. But here's the thing. The draft didn't include NXT. So NXT is kind of a no man's land. So I'll give them that. While all about them making sure they adhere to the draft rules, which they never do, at least you can say NXT wasn't part of the draft, therefore anybody can kind of float in and out. I'll accept that. And also NXT is a place that Dom can win a championship from where every championship he's on

or could target right now doesn't make sense storyline wise. As good as Dom is as a heel, and he arguably is the top heel in the company, every title that he could win is locked up and right now, the timing is just not right for Dom. So if they go to NXT and give him a championship there, so I will say this, if we had a baby face champion on SmackDown, we might have balanced it out with Dominic being world champion on Raw, but Roman reigns affects all and that run you

needed to have a counter baby face on Raw to balance things out. All right, Let's see with them holding two titles and money the bank for a third. What do you think of the chances of them are trying to do

a clean sleep with holding them all holding a title? What? I would love to see some kind of story between Ria Live and Raquel where Ria goes after Raquel promising that if she joins Judgment Day and follows her rules, she can hold the tag team championship, something she can ever do with Live splitting apart that team and transitioning Roquel into a heel. That seems to be enough history between the three of them to make a good storyline, even if there

it doesn't last very long. I also want to say thanks for the podcast made wrestling come alive for me and helps me a under stand what's going on as a newbie, even if I don't know who half the roster is or the history between them. Yeah, the thing is, man, you are going You've got quite the big gap here. I mean, you've got twenty three years plus of a of ketchup to do. The last thing you knew was the rock One, the Rumble. You know, that's it. That's

insane, but kind of cool. You've been You've missed wrestling almost as much as I've been watching it in my entire life. That's pretty crazy. So, yeah, you got a lot of catch up, but I'll do my best. As far as your transition of Roquel to a heel, I can't agree more about that. I mean, Raquel is not easily likable. She cannot stop smiling. It's like the smile's tattooed on her face. It's obnoxious. I don't like her flexing, uh you know, in her in her

entrance. She's just kind of got an annoying flare about her when she cuts her promos. Yeah, in the ring, she's fine. She's very good in the ring, and she's a she's very physically imposing woman. Cool, but she belongs to a heel. That's just enough said there. And do I think that Damien's going to capture the world title? Not right now,

you can't. Here's the thing with Roman reigns on SmackDown for three plus years being champion and Seth winning that World Heavyweight championship, what like about two months ago. You can't have a heel champion on Raw because the whole idea of the World Championship was to quiet people who were losing their minds. And I did at times too of Roman never defending that championship he's been at We've had

a heel champion for three years. Raw hasn't had a champion from Russ didn't have a champion from Rustlemania thirty eight to thirty nine, a full year without a world title on Raw, all that stuff, and so I agree with what they did. You had to make a baby face champion on Raw. So if you give it to a heel while then you're kind of defeating the purpose of balancing out Roman. Now the question becomes Seth can't carry that forever. And if Roman holds the belt for another year, do you think Seth's

gonna hold it for another year? So it becomes kind of a balancing act. You know, how long does Seth hold it to make fans feel better before a heel champion takes it from him? And you know, doesn't defend it as regularly as Seth does. He's not a fighting champion and all that nonsense that I can't stand the fighting champion stuff, which it really defeats the whole purpose for me of being a smart, smart baby face and also respecting

the title. But I've already gone down that road before, so anyway, cool, thanks buddy. I think your name is Freeman. I'll go with that Freeman from the UK. I think I could be wrong, alrighty cool, So let's check. I might have one more email floating around here. I might, I might. I don't think I do, so I lie. That means it's time for the all important voicemails and we're going to start off, of course, with the vir Mahan Report. Get yourself ready,

here we go. Done in the podcast world. This is DJ Kuzma back at it again, Audia Mail Maxshell Records. You live on a wesdom morning. Well, before we get to the virt Maha Report. Before we get to the vir Maha Report, we got breaking news. We got breaking news. Oh my goodness, none of the Dominic Mysterio dirty dam dom dooms the new NXT North American Champion. Last night on NXT we got to see the shocking finish Dot Dominic Mysterio is finally a champion in the WWE, as he

is now the new North American Champion. So now what is the future of the judgment day. Does debian priest also officially go after the goal? Does Finnbala somehow defeats none of the den seth rawlins at Summer Islam, whatever the case may be. This is freaking awesome now that down Doom, Dirty Doom, one of the most overheels in the company, is now a champion, the North American Champion. I can't wait to see what happens that summer slab.

But folks, this is not a songa slab prediction show. This is not even had an XT reveal show. Because let's get too your favor us. I'm gonna come in every single week on the mail Man and I'm talking about the Via, the beer, the ver the beer, the Vir Maharaport. Now the Vir Mahanaport took place. This passed My Tonight hard Mondy Night Raw Live from Atlanta, Georgia. But we did not get an appearance,

oh my guy Vi Mahan. We did not get an appearance of Saga, and we did not get an appearance oh the modern day Maha Rada Jenner Mahal. But we did get some interesting hints. We did get some teasers on their Instagram and of course my guy Vir Mahan says. He says, fear the anticipation hashtag in this year. Had he posted this two days ago and almost the same picture on Jinder Mahall's Instagram, He says, Tag Team Championships

with the upside down our glasses? Is this a hit of the future of the Tag Team Championships going into the hands of my guys the ind this year. There's only one way to find out, and I can't wait to see the day one day will be called the new Tag Team Chairs on Disputed Raw, smacked Out, whatever the case may be. But I'm excited. I'm excited for Dirty Dog and the judgment day. I'm excited right now for the in this year. But would that be saying this is your guy, DJ,

have a blessed week. Make guys one of the stays and my friends at peace. Alrighty, DJ, thank you so much, And I'm getting excited too for the indushear. Honestly, I am, And I don't mean that as just you know, it's kind of he he haha. I really am. You know, they have done a great job. They mean w w E and Vier and Songa and Gender of the execution part and the planning part of not too much kind of under the radar, but reminding you every

now and then they're still looming in the shadows. The video promos that they've done have been short, but a very effective. Gender has really found his place as the mouthpiece but can also take a bump at the same time kind of manager. That's the perfect combo. And I think you're right that they are going to be targeting Kevin and Sammy shortly after or at SummerSlam. I've I've said this for weeks now. I think that's their target. I really

do. Now does that mean that they're gonna win? I don't know. I mean why not? You know, Kevin and Sammy have been champion for over one hundred days now, whichever every the problem is, every streak right now it feels diminished when you put it up against Roman reignses. So you know, we would be like, wow, one hundred days this champion. If this was like, you know, proud of Romans run, we'd be like, whoa, that's a lot of time. Or you know, Gunther's

run as Intercontinental champion, we would be just marveling at it. But everything you you kind of compare naturally to Romans run and you're going out, well, that's that's only a one hundred days Romans at a thousand. You know.

So inadvertently it's one of the side effects of Roman's run, not on purpose, it's just the way it's going right now, in the way that it's one of the negative side effects, not a massive one, but one that nonetheless is happening, is that Roman's run really kind of devalues or diminishes the run of everyone else because his is so much further ahead. But yeah, you're right, as far as the indusher goes, absolutely are possible to win. And your point about Dom I made earlier. I'm very excited about

this. I mean, he is the right guy to be a champion. He's the perfect guy to hold gold right now. And if we didn't have a champion, if we again, if Roman wasn't champion on SmackDown we had a baby face champion, I would advocate for Dom to be world champion. Absolutely so cool, Thanks so much, DJ, Let's keep rolling. He's Kyle's Baltimore, so I wanted to. I just had to start this now today where I'll see you like, what is he going to do first service

plan with steth Rowlins and who his next appointent is going to be. I'm thinking maybe a tribal threat match between Damian Priest, Finnbalor and Seth Rolins just be very similar similar, like like what they did in twenty to fifteen and

the Royal Rubble between Sena Leisner and Rollins. While how Rollins at the time was still mister Money in the bag, you have Digion creas as mister Money in the Bag and they could do that match for Summer Slam, and that could be that could also tease tease even more deception um in the coming weeks on Raw if that matches end up being official UM for the I'm not I

just had that success. Now think of that could be something intriguingst and that kind of want to see and to see how that's going to transpire for the world. Have we championship match between a tribal threat match with those three men and see how that's going to play out on TV if that means, if it if it makes if they officially make that a match, um So, But when you think about that, I guess it's just an idea. But you know, if I mean Rollins has been feeding with the judgment judgment day,

I think it probably is going to lead to that. Maybe that another thing was that's a dollar but probably us threat and match evolvably Damian Priests. So when he talked on that, but that's a detour calm by Kyle.

So I like your idea. It's it's very solid, and I think that the tensions between Finn and Damien are right now, they appear resolved, it appears all's well, but that's usually when it's the calm before the storm, right, and I think that things are going to explode between Damien and Finn, maybe as early as Summer Slam, but maybe afterwards, like you said, if they want to do a triple thread. But the thing is Damian Priests is money in the bank. The money in bank winner, which means

him getting involved in a triple threat. I don't want to say defeats the purpose, but why would he do that when he could just cash in at the easiest possible moment, or maybe they have him still compete. It's not that he's exempt or barred. Rather, Damien is not barred from regular championship

matches. He's not you know, he doesn't. He's not being prevented from doing that if he wants to quote unquote earn the opportunity and in some kind of tournament or something, or just a number one contenders match, but he is by default at all times number one contender and for him to compete in a triple threat match unless he actually uses that to cash in and create a triple threat, which that maybe that's what you're proposing, is that it's Finn

versus Seth. But then Damien, just like Seth did to brock In Roman at WrestleMania thirty one, makes it a triple threat, albeit very brief, and he comes in when everyone's exhausted and beat up. That's very possible, absolutely, But for Damien to just get involved in a regularly earned, normally earned opportunity to cause it to create a triple threat, but he's also money in the bank winner doesn't make sense to me. It seems duplicative. But

hey, maybe you're right. I think that this is this Finn and set thing could go beyond SummerSlam. People love them together and this would be what their second match in a row. So I don't think there's a problem there. You know, once you get to three, people start to get a little bit anty and go, okay, I'm ready to move on. But they work so damn well together. Their promos have been outstanding, so why

not keep it going. You got a good thing. Add Damien to the mix, and you know, then then you've got a split of Damien and Finn and then you've got a baby face Finn Balor. So good stuff. Thanks Kyle, Let's keep it going. Hey, everyone year Kyle again back at the coat coat for it small one is week. Cor didn't have big

role this week, but next week you will have a big match. So this week I see they should damn Brook and like the new girl Collonge Gordon and I guess it's kind of like an say team now Flying Gordon the one core lest we like the new girl her and Dana Brooke. We're kind of having like a training video. It's a weird it was craze, but whatever. It was stupid, hey, training video and Colannie was saying she learned to lock in Dana Brook and Dana's like, we're just getting started. We're

a tag team now pretty much. And then she'll chords day walking that video backstage and she kind of she kind of just like they didn't get better than me, and she's all angry and just smashed her metal kind of stick. If he always her stickings, you're weaping her triple leads toledge hammer. She's hit against the locker, locker room locker and got nya walked away, you know, a heel thing, Yeah, across the heel thing anyway, then she um what's it called? She um? And he walked away and they

Now that's a week. She's having a rematch of Dana Brook from gold Rush of Week one special, but this time next week her and Dana Brook having a Tenda stick and match because Cores got her kend of sticks. That's gonna be fun. I know, I turnage it. But this week's Coreer data port. I have one more thing I want to say is this this week was a short report, so I have one more thing I wanted to say. I have posed for La Night future. I think the gonna build up

him and Grayson Waller. Ellen is gonna when the US title of Mall Secteriory summers Lam. You're gonna hold till like December loses the us tell the Grayson Waller in December when the Royal rumble and maybe fight Sasamania for the worldhood title or or Danian Priest castes in but down when did it? He's like Dane Preest and one if from Danan Preestemnia l A Night anyway, Yeah, I position for La Knight. Yeah, um, anyway, that's different this week,

see guy next time. Alrighty, thanks so much for the Core Jade report. Kyle. Good to hear from you. I hope you're not at work getting in trouble. You seem to always be at work when you call, but that didn't sound like you were, so anyway, let's talk. Yeah. First of all, Kor Jade, you know, I'm keeping up with her because you were telling me what's going on, And I don't imagine most listening to this are only knowing what's going on with Kory Jade simply because

you're telling us. And that's good, I think, and they may bring some people to NXT to watch her instead of just hearing your report. So that's good stuff. As far as your plan with l A. Knight eventually dropping into Grayson Waller, I mean, look, Grayson Waller is at the top of his game right now that somebody in w W really loves him, really loves him. You know, he's mentioning the Rock by name in a promo this week on on TV. You know he you know, did the

whole thing with John Cena, he worked with Edge. So there's a lot happening here with Grayson Waller. It's not out of the question to believe he can be beat l A. Knight. Again, we're three steps ahead. La Knight still hasn't even gotten an opportunity at the US title. Munchless one, it much less dropping it to uh, you know, Grayson Waller.

We're getting ahead of ourselves. But it's fun to fantasy book a little bit, and it's plausible, plausible given especially how they view Grayson Waller clearly working with top top talent, mentioning even top top top talent that eventually may lead to a Rock U a Rock being a guest on the Grayson Waller effect. I would imagine that's where they're headed. We'll see. Maybe it'll be the Rock on the Grayson Waller effect that SummerSlam. Maybe that could be it.

I don't know, but again we shall see. But eventually, yes, Lae Knight winning the rumble. I would say Lae Knight is a favorite already to win the Royal Rumble already. I think he's a very heavy favorite, and I think the fans will be all on board for that. All right, let's let's go here we have I think we only have one more voicemail short on the voicemails along on the emails, but let's get too and I'm gonna guess this is justin from Maryland based on the fact that it looks like

whoever it was got cut off. But maybe I'm wrong. However, let's let's take a listen the French guy here are your current European champion. Wanted to address the situation of the WW right now in general moves. I like the shows, I like the feuds, but I wanted to I had the

fact that I noticed myself about the storylines. Let me begin. You see, during the last last Romania, one of the main main events, of course, she had Corey Rhodes versus Roman reigns, but the first one of the ninth one was the USOS against Sammy Zane and Kevin Kevin Owens in a way of ending the feuds between Sammy Jane and the Bloodline. All right, this was a highlight of the storyline, high high points of blood Life storylines

and good points for Sammy Jane and Kevin Owens. But I find it right now that they are beginning to be stable in terms of storylines, you know, like I don't. I don't know where they're heading. And I have to fear that this problem will occur the same way it did with Sammy Dane and Kevin Owen, that it will with the blow line. Right now, we are in a highlight of the storyline of the bloodline, Roman Rains and the rest of the Bloodline, Solo and Paul Hayman against the USO's in a

general way. All right, Jay is against the Bloodline and Jimmy. It's out of the way, but it will come back sooner or later. But what I mean by that, what's after that? Because let's say, all right, you will say to me, all right, Cody Rhodes will these thrown Roman Rains and everything. That's not the solution. We all know that Cody Rhodes, who could be a very good quest it will be the champion, you know, But he's not the one who trap the trolls Roman range.

You know, all right, solo SKOA, But I mean you really really need to build up as tender of a storylines to the thron Roman rains because we are in the point of the storyline is so great. What's after that? You know? I mean there is a solution which all dream of you, Matt, the first one which the Rock. Of course, however this is a dream man like I don't I don't mean I don't want the Rock to you know as you as you say, Charon woman ran for the

title. But involvement of the Rock I think good very reason it's Redney. It's a high spot, but I mean, like in two or three months after Sammerstam it will be in a low spot. I guarantee you that. So what's in it for WrestleMania? That's my question about the bloodline in general, and for Sammy Jane and Kevin Owen. I don't know where they're going.

You know, it's interesting, but you know, the tag team titles, it's nice, but you know, I don't see other tack teams being that relevant again them all right, Alex, you're not justin for Maryland, so I lose. However, you bring up some good points about the fact that things feel like they are a little bit unpredictable right now. Not everything, but some things, more things than usual, and that's a good thing, usually because so many fans complain about, oh, it's so predictable,

right which sometimes is not fun. However, right now does feel like it's a bit of a transition, particularly Slummerslam. You have some programs probably ending, some programs starting, you know, so as far as Roman rains goes, though, you're right, Jay's probably not going to beat Roman. Even if the terms in terms of or what is it, rules of engagement this coming Friday tomorrow night are going to be outlined that Jay challenges Rome for the

title. Jay's probably not gonna win, probably not very unlikely because Roland rains Look still has some tread left on the tire as a heel and as champion. I think that if the Rock doesn't show up, and even if he does, it's not going to be happening at SummerSlam. It's not going to be happening at Survivor Series. It's not going to be happening at the Royal

Rumble. It's going to be a Hey, we're gonna build this mother effort for six months and then you're gonna get the magic WrestleMania, which I'm fine with. But the thing is Roman needs opponent in between now in Mania, and those people could be bray Wyatt Randy Orton. I think those two are top candidates to challenge Roman. Even Edge, I guess could again presuming there's

no trade or somebody coming over from Raw. That to me is a very likely or La Night again, La Knight could It's a very interesting WrestleMania if if Rock and Romans happening, La Knight's not going to be winning the Rumble to challenge Roman, he could win the Rumble to challenge the world champion on Raw. That's possible. So that's my thinking is that in the in between, as you look at the roster, I don't know if Solo is gonna defect yet. He's in the cards, yes, but I don't know if

it's time yet. We'll see. I think Randy Orton is a very high candidate as well as bray Wyatt. Even though bray Wyatt is m Ia and he has proven yet to have a good match. He's had one match since he returned last year, one so it's concerning, but people would still pop for it, and you'll be there more for the promos and the story than you with a match. So yeah, I think that that's probably where they're headed. Thanks so much, Alex, Thanks so much everybody for listening.
