Pray, Preach and Expect Signs, Wonders and Miracles

After being threatened by the religious leaders, the Apostles and Church members prayed for God to extend His hand and perform signs, wonders and miracles.

Miraculous signs generally are the supernatural acts and events that take place in order to verify the presence of godly power, to give warning or to encourage faith.  

As signs, true miracles of God are meant to draw people's attention to Christ and his message.

Wonders refer to unusual events that caused the people to marvel and look to the power behind the supernatural act.
