Wherever we are in our situation, circumstances, stage of life, and maturity drastically impacts how we see things and can determine the way we respond. Our defense against our emotions and fears are our core values and behaviors; that set of unchanging, unwavering, unflinching hopes and convictions that keep our lives on track. This month we will look at the Five Core Values of The Well community and see a couple of ways to put them into practice to keep us on mission.

Worship is always about one thing: being in God’s presence. Worship comes out of the intimacy that we develop from knowing what He has done and who He is. It’s that sweet place of relationship that only you and Jesus can have — where He draws you in close to Him, and where the more you have His presence, the more of it you want. Then we carry His presence with us, and we’re more aware of it in every aspect of our lives.

“The harder I work, the more success I will experience.” We often accept this as truth, but in terms of the Bible, it’s not. Rather than working harder, we need to pray smarter. As we come to see God correctly, it helps us pray from a right posture and with a right heart. It also gives us the confidence to ask for anything in our prayers, realizing there is nothing outside God’s reach or capacity.

They say it takes a village to raise a child and we believe that fully here at The Well. Join us for Dedication Sunday on May 29th at both services as we join together to support our friends in raising their children to grow in Christian faith and love.

Sometimes the victories that God has promised us seem elusive and out of reach. Although we try and are committed, we just can't seem to break free from the trappings of our past and/or the struggles of our present. We long to experience intimacy with God and the peace that surpasses all understanding. We need a break through, we need to be set free!

When Jesus was asked to sum up the heart of a life of Faith, He quoted two Old Testament passages: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength,” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” While that may seem straightforward and obvious, life teaches us that everything has to be interpreted and applied if it is to be lived successfully. So in April, we want to dig into the idea of making truly making Jesus first in our daily lives and relationships.

Easter is a day of celebration, a time to rejoice in the resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ. His life points us toward hope, it directs us towards belief. It is the promise of spring, the defeat over eternal winter. His resurrection tells us that the hard times that we are experiencing are momentary and that new life is possible because of His death.

The resurrection of Jesus is the most important event in human history—the proof that everything was just as Jesus had said. And while many people understand and accept that, does it impact their daily lives? Paul was convinced that since God was willing to demonstrate His love and power through the death and resurrection of Jesus, then believers should be able to do anything! Here is the promise: you haven’t just been saved from death, you have been raised to life. And that life is supposed to ...

God’s word promises what seem to be limitless BLESSINGS, but we don’t always experience them. Even more difficult to understand is seeing “good people” struggle while our less honorable neighbors seem to land in puddles of good fortune when they fall down. How? Why? Is there a way to tap into what God has promised in His word? Is there a way for us to be…#blessed?

God has a HUGE victory for the life of every believer, local church and community, yet so few of us seem to experience it. We look at our situations, our personal abilities and our resources, and then we assume it simply can’t be done with what we have. But God doesn’t make mistakes. Wherever you are, whatever your circumstances, regardless of what you believe you are lacking, God has set the stage perfectly for a victory that will bring honor to him and grow his Kingdom. So the only question is...
