After one sequel in 1990 and two lackluster Alien VS Predator movies Predators took the franchise back to its roots in 2010. We get the return of a rag tag group of lunatics, a jungle setting, a muddy showdown but also some additional elements that elevate this movie beyond what had been done in previous sequels. It's just a shame we never got an actual follow up to what is considered by many to be a movie that I, Mr Sunday Movies, like very much. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage revie...

With the massive success of the first film and massive amounts of franchise potential a sequel to the original Predator, Predator 2 released in 1990 was inevitable. Despite lacking some key elements from the first, Arnold Schwarzenegger and a jungle it does mix things up with the inclusion of Danny Glover, an LA in the midst of a heat/crime wave and a new and even more dangerous Predator. It's a fun ride if you arn't expecting exactly the same thing and also like Gary Busey. Thanks for watching ...

Like The Mummy 2017, everything we've been covering up to this point has lead us here. The Dark Universe has had its fair share of failures but none quite as spectacular as the 2017 reboot/sequel/franchise launching Tom Cruise vehicle The Mummy. With Universal pumping nearly 200 million dollars into the budget including a brand new logo and the reveal of it's upcoming film slate in a hilarious promo photo featuring the likes of Javier Bardem and Johnny Depp this outing was nothing but an unmitig...

Thanks for listening New episode of We Got 'We Got This Covered' Cov...
We've all been having the best time revisiting different failures within the Dark Universe. This week it's Dracula Untold, a thinly veiled attempt to turn Dracula into a comic book action hero. Which is weird because Dracula already exists in both the Marvel and DC Universes. Anyhoo Luke Evans stars as Vlad The Impaler, a kind and gentle family man who just wants to forget the time he literally impalled 1000 people. BUT THEN an man from his past returns to get all the boys and Vlad's like "NO WA...

In 2010 Universal took another step towards rebooting the Dark Universe with a straight shot at a remake of the 1941 classic The Wolf Man starring Lon Chaney Jr. This time starring Benecio del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt and Hugo Weaving and with the late addition direction of Joe Johnston it does manage to capture some of the magic of a classic monster movie. But also it's not that good even though Mason liked it. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review! SUBSCRIBE HERE ►► http:...
Stephen King adaptations are back and bigger than ever with The Long Walk, a movie about a long walk but if you don’t walk good enough Mark Hamill will kill you. We also talk the most current and best news including our first look at Doctor Doom from Avengers: Let’s Pay Robert Downey Jr Fifty Million Dollars, kudos for David Zslav (normal man), a price increase for HBO Max, sequels for Jurassic World Rebirth (understandable) and the Last Witch Hunter (nonsense), trailers for Wake Up Dead Man and...
In 2004 Universal attempted the impossible, recreate the success of The Mummy reboot from 1999 using the classic monsters of old. At it turns out that was impossible and would continue to be so until The Invisible Man in 2020. Over the next four weeks we're going to take a look at a series of movies that each tried to start their own Dark Universe incorporating classic movie monsters. This week it's Van Helsing starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale which pits Gabriel Van Hesling against a re...

To the surprise of most, Percy Jackson 2010 actually got a sequel in 2013's in Sea of Monsters. Sure the originally director didn't come back or a bunch of the original actors including horse Pierce Brosnan but the core trio of Percy, Percy's friend and Percy's another friend. This time they're on a quest for the Golden Fleece which they're going to use to heal a tree that makes a forcefield that used to be a girl. And Luke's back if you remember him! In the midst of Harry Potter fever every studio was looking for their own potential young adult franchise to bring to the big screen. In 2010 20th Century Fox settled on Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, beginning with Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. They even brought on board Christopher Columbus, the director of the first two Harry Potter movies. Sadly the magic wasn't replicated and what we got was a muddled half hearted attempt of an adaptation that fell short in a...

If there's one this 2012's Prometheus needed, it's some explanations for what the hell just happened. And if there's one other thing it needed was to be exactly like the movies Alien and Aliens. The solution to both ended up being the 2017 sequel/prequel Alien: Covenant. Doing away with the previous lead character Elizabeth Shawit follows a new crew of expendable and stupid human beings who run afoul of Michael Fassbender's David along with the Xenomorph. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garba...

The Alien franchise was flagging after the middling reception of the previous few entries including a crossover with the Predator franchise. In an effort to bring back both the prestige of Alien and Aliens plus the fan base Ridley Scott returned to the series with Prometheus. Set up as a prequel of sorts with echo's of future entries it assembled a steller cast, the help of Lost's Damon Lindelof and a huge budget. To this day it sits as an odd entry to failed to deliever on its promise but not w...

It's our final entry in our 'That's a comic book movie?!?' series! And we're taking a look at an entry that's barely an entry, 2013's Oblivion. This is the first pairing of Tom Cruise and Joseph Kosinski who'd later reteam in the much more successful Top Gun: Maverick in 2022. Set in the apocalyptic future of 2077, there's a big triangle in the sky telling Tom Cruise what to do which you'd think would be fine but it might be bad actually. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review SUBSCRI...

It's time for another look at a comic book movie that you might not think is a comic book movie! We're tackling Bulletproof Monk from 2003, the Chow Yun-fat and Sean William Scott lead action comedy that we discover is completely servicable and forgettable as a movie about a magic scroll that gives you some magic. The fight scenes are okay! The cast chemistry is okay! And the story is okay! What more could you want from a movie nobody has seen or ever talked about. Thanks for watching our Carava...
It's big movie season and it's time for another big movie! The Fantastic Four: First Steps marks the fourth live action incarnation of the superhero family and there first appearance in the MCU.
