Connie Fraser has been a 911 dispatcher in Calgary, Alberta since 1998. She has worked as a call evaluator, dispatcher, supervisor and trainer, and developed an innovative course to build 911 dispatcher resilience through mental preparedness. In this episode, Connie talks about the often overlooked trauma that dispatchers face, as well as the steps for developing mental readiness in all first responders, especially dispatchers.
