Speaker 1

It's Thursday, the twenty ninth of August. This is the warning Summer twenty twenty five has come to an end. It's Labor Day weekend. It's been a summer of change in the United States. When it began, the US Army was not mulching the flower beds of Washington, DC. FBI special agents were not doing traffic stops. Donald Trump had not yet deployed armor to America's cities, and had not done so on the weight of lies about disorder. That's

a figment of his imagination. And idiotized society seems susceptible to the idea that because there is crime, the army is the answer, because there is a street dog, a tank the solution. And so here we are militarized police forces that have manifested as if out of the ether. The only comparable example is Vladimir Putin's Little Green Men

in crimea from more than a decade ago. This is the summer where new federal vehicles were unveiled defend the Culture, with Donald J. Trump embossed in gold on the back. And these men have a license, at least temporarily issued by a president, to do violence, to create Mayhem to

get anybody who suspected of being a lesser American. Here is the author of Pizzagate, a political extremist, a neo Nazi, ranking who is and who is not a real American by virtue of when their ancestors came to the country Category A, category B, Category C, CA, Category D. At the instant, a foreign national raises their hand and swears

an allegiance to the Constitution of the United States. Regardless of where they are, from what faith they practice, what color their skin may be, they are as fully an equally an American, as a descendant of the Mayflower, as a descendant of a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The neo Nazi that author Pizzagate may not appreciate the fact that the men of the First Minnesota who saved the country from the Confederacy at the Battle of Gettysburg,

many of them did not speak English. Many of them were German speaking Catholics, that the know nothings wanted to keep out of the country. Thus it is the same as it has always been. There is a malignancy in our country steeped in hatred, and it has always bubbled their coexisting with what Abraham Lincoln called the better angels of our nature. The idea that there's evil is not new. The idea that there are cruel people should not be novel.

The idea that power corrupts absolutely, and that there would be an American who would topple the greatest experiment in the history of humanity with regard to how people govern themselves for the sake of their own aggrandizement, to take whatever they can that they would ruin. Such a thing should not come as a surprise thousands of years of

history and warnings on the matter. And so it has come to pass in America by Labor Day weekend that Donald Trump has fundamentally reordered the relationship between the state and the citizen, and the President and the Congress and the Supreme Court. In seven months time. He has come as closed as any American ever has to achieving one man rule. He does not tolerate dissent. There is no defiance, only sycophancy such as here.

Speaker 2

As we approach Labor Day weekend, here this is just such a great opportunity, really to recognize your leadership as a true champion for working people. And I know we'll hear as we go round the table here, how your focus singularly on putting the well being and interest of the American people first? Is that common thread that we're seeing in your policies being implemented across your administration.

Speaker 1

And there is only cowardice, weakness, and submission when it comes to those who are facing him. With a few examples. And so the summer is at its end, the fall is beginning, and soon we will be exactly one year away from an election, a midterm election. That election is a referendum, the last chance to put a check on Donald Trump and to say no. Each day Donald Trump gets a little less popular and a little more powerful.

The question that is in the air is this, Will he become unpopular fast enough to stop his accrual of power before it's too late, or will he gain enough power to make his growing unpopularity completely irrelevant. Donald will have successfully transformed America into a country where one man rules and his polyp buro picks its voters, and whatever they decide to do is stamped and approved by a corrupt court of angry and aggrieved men. We stand at

the precipice of cementing this into a new reality. At the beginning of a new era. And that era will not bring greatness. It will bring misery, poverty, disease, war, and unhappiness. But no one will ever be able to

say that the American people didn't choose it. They did forty nine and a half percent of the vote in the year twenty twenty four, when Donald Trump rose to power in a choice against a man who is not able, but around whom the opposition held fast until the most prolific liar in American history was viewed by enough of the country as the moron as candidate in the race, and they made him president and put him in charge of a system he never believed in, and he took

an oath that he was faithless to from the second Eystward and eight months later, country being transformed, Soldiers on the streets, chaos, and our institutions suffering death and misery building from the cessation of America's food aid and scientific aid. Everywhere there is fear. For the first time in two hundred and fifty years, the American people are afraid of their king. Welcome to September in these United States, and
