It is Tuesday, July the first. This is the warning Happy Canada Day.
Every American should feel the deepest shame for Donald Trump's misconduct and mistreatment of America's most important and closest Ally the Canadian nation shares the longest undefended border and world history with the United States. It is a providential blessing for both peoples who are intertwined by faith, by family, by sacrifice, by the deepest of connections rooted and shared values around liberty, tolerance, freedom, pluralism, democracy. Canada is a
light unto the world. Canada is a place of safe haven for the refugee, and it was a place of liberty for the escaping American slave moving north on the underground railroad. Canada is a country when the world was enslaved, sent its young men.
To free it.
One of the three that stormed the beaches in Normandy on d Day, one of the stakeholders of the modern world, one of the architects of the creation of eighty years of globalization and stability of eighty years of Franklin Roosevelt's Titanic vision of peace that has crumbled to dust within months of the forty seventh presidency of the United States taking power in this moment, when mass federal agents feel a license to abuse people when there is no accountability,
it seems when government officials assert what they will do to the people without worry about what the people will do in the next election, then something clearly has got.
Off the rails.
What is it that we should think about this very specific moment when, as the minority dissenting justices on the Supreme Court have pointed out, no American right is safe from a lawless Donald Trump executive order. Soon what the American people have seen in Los Angeles will spread to every corner of the country because, without debate, while stripping sixteen seventeen million people off of their healthcare, there was
money to fund a police state. And there will not be a community in America that does not see masked federal agents. And so there is a question at the heart of politics.
In this moment around its purpose.
What must be defended is not Chuck Schumer as leader of the Senate, but American liberty, and it must be defended from the Senate by more people than elislock In and Chris Murphy. On a consistent, constant ethical base is filled with integrity and grit and resolution. The crisis in leadership is responsible for electing MAGA in the first place.
What mister Mondami in New York and Donald Trump shared in comment is fundamentally they beat the same people who the voter is rejected as weak, entitled, arrogant, cloistered, inauthentic, and pitiful. This moment requires an opposition of strength, and so at the exact moment when a secret police force is being funded, the Washington DC Democratic political consultant establishment says we shouldn't talk about this issue because immigration is
Trump's best issue, It's the strongest point. And so, even as Donald Trump's numbers collapse across the board, across the field on the handling of the economy, as the American people realized that the bombing attack on Iran did not achieve its intended purpose, did not hit the target it was aimed at, and instead was part of a reality show production that made the world more dangerous, they are losing trust, losing trust in Trump's judgment, losing trust in
the weirdos around Trump, the psychotic Christy, the literally demented Robert Kennedy, the galactically incompetent and unhinged Keate Heagsath, the complete lightweight Tulsey Gabbert, and the lawless Attorney General Pambondi. All of these people are lawless, arrogant, deluded by their power, and all of them have just been handed the keys to something that no American president has ever had a
legitimate secret police force. And so those democratic consultants say, we must talk about the economy or do nothing at all. Just wait and see here's the deal. The smart thing to do is to attack Donald Trump at his strongest position, because it will unravel and it will be his undoing. Because what we are seeing is immoral, It is un American,
and it is wrong, and it is intolerable. Every governor in a democratically led state, all of them, should immediately criminalize law enforcement operating with masks in their state.
And even though they will not have jurisdiction to arrest.
The Feds, they will have the high ground to label the federal actions in the sieges of their states as criminal, which it is. No free people should be terrorized by masked officials of the government, and no free people should ever be lied to and be told that their safety requires the masking of the agents who terrorize them.
It is the safety of the people who matters.
And any agent of the federal government who believes they cannot safely perform their duties because perhaps those duties are immoral and lawless, should have to put that into account in the performance of their duties. Unmasked, because in free societies, no one wears a mask, with the exception of the lone ranger, and none of these people, or the lone ranger, in fact, he wouldn't like them very much at all.
Happy Canada Day.
It's nice to be in Canada, which is a country today where no one wearing a mask and a badge is going to jump out at a bush at any person unlucky enough to walk past them who just happens to be in the agent's eyes.
Un Canadian looking. Not in Canada.
But we can't say that about America anymore because something that was said long ago has come true. Fascism has come to America wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross. And it's the duty and the burden and the obligation. As we enter the two hundred and fiftieth birth year of the United States and the anniversaries to repudiate it to crush it, to bury it, and to put a check on Donald Trump in the next elections and end this in sanity.
