It is Monday, June the twenty third. This is the morning.
It has been an eventful weekend in the United States, with Donald Trump and Champagne Pete Hegsath ordering the United States Air Force to attack three Iranian nuclear facilities with a sortee of more than one hundred and twenty five warplanes.
It has become fashionable all of a sudden for media reporters who couldn't tell the difference between a captain and a lieutenant colonel, a United States Marine and a soldier, to cite with joy and smiles the power of the GBU fifty seven A and B massive ordnance penetrator, of which there were reportedly twenty in the American arsenal until this week, where we are now down to eight after Halving dropped twelve.
Of them on Iran.
Now, the reaction to the attacks has ranged from the surreal to the ludicrous, but none top this from the editors of Barry Weiss's The Free Press, at the end of their editorial celebrating the dropping of bombs on Iran. Again, I don't think there's a single editor that could tell us what the strategy is, what the plan is, what victory looks like. Or what comes next, and we'll talk about that in the minute.
But first the surreal conclusion.
To the cheerleading essay, the editorial by the Free Press, let me read one final point.
During Donald Trump's first term.
His critics often noted how lucky it was for the US that he didn't face the serious foreign policy crisis. Their assumption is that he would be in over his head and act irrationally. More recently, Wall Street coined the acronym Taco Trump always chickens out. That's the opposite of what happened on Saturday night. No matter what you think of Trump's policies on immigration, tariffs, or anything else, there is only one adjective to describe his action in this crisis, presidential.
There are no words to describe the ludicrousness of that statement. First, there is a prerequisite required for any commander in chief to send American men and women into harm's way, and that's some semblance of moral authority beyond the statutory authority.
And so at the end of the day, Donald Trump is a liar who can be trusted with nothing about anything, but with regard to the specifics of the attack, was it presidential to come out immediately before all of the information was known, and declare that the attack was a complete success.
Let's watch Trump do.
It here tonight. I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran's key nuclear and Richmond facilities have been completely and totally obliterated around the bully of the Middle East must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks would be far greater and a lot easier.
And are these truth social posts? Are they presidential?
And what about the Secretary of Defense, a man who put classified war plans onto an unclassified group chat now ordering American men and women into harms way a presidential fanboy of the ten star variety. Let's watch Champagne Pete Hegsath do his best ass licking that there is in America.
Many presidents have deamed of delivering the final blow to Iran's nuclear program, and none could until President Trump. The operation President Trump planned was bold and it was brilliant, showing the world that American deterrence is back. When this president speaks, the world should listen.
Of course, the great presidential decision and its impact is immediately refuted by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of staff, who, according to Trump, was picked because Trump liked the cut of his jib wearing the red Maga hat, which the General denies. At least in this instance, the General seems
to understand that he needs to maintain some credibility. Now, Marco Rubio and the Vice President and the Secretary of Defense all went on the Sunday shows and they said absolutely that regime change was.
Not the goal.
And Iran, according to the Vice President, this was an act of war against the nuclear reactors.
But of course that.
Held up for a couple of hours before that great President of ours undermined all of those people from his administration in the top national security jobs when he said,
in fact, miga make Iran great again. And so it comes to be that one hundred and fifty seven days into the administration that was supposed to end foreign entanglements, that was supposed to end the foreign wars, that the United States has dropped twelve of the twenty massive ordinance penetrators in its arsenal on Iran, a country that Field Marshall ted Cruz has no idea how many people live
in or their ethnic makeup. And so here we are again the question about the Iranian nuclear program a straightforward. This evil regime cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. But according to the Trump administration, the Iranians had no imminent threat of building a weapon. The Israelis claimed that
the threat was imminent that contradicted American intelligence. And when the Israelis struck the Iranian reactors, the Israeli government said the strike was decisive and the reactors were destroyed, which does beg the question if they were destroyed in the first strike by the Israelis, why did Donald Trump have to send one hundred and twenty five airplanes and just saying it seems that the one thing this attack shared with the Israeli attack was the quick draw to declare
it a success before any of the assessments were done. According to The New York Times, it may be the case that the highly enriched use uranium was quartered away from the Mountain reactor site in the days before the attack. Now, the Iranians have used this nuclear program as a bargaining check, but wouldn't the lesson be for the Iranians if the
program was not completely destroyed. Did they better do everything they can to get their hands on a nuclear warhead as quickly as possible to immunize themselves from attack.
So if it is the worst case.
That the regime has not been toppled and the program has not been destroyed, what next. The Iranians might still have the highly enriched uranium. They certainly still have the knowledge there are lots of mountains in Iran.
The cheerleading on.
A military attack within twenty five years time of the same people cheerleading the beginning of the last Middle Eastern War is astonishing. The one thing that should be perfectly clear to every American where they sit is it's a lot easier to start a war than to end one.
And Don Junior and Eric and none.
Of these people will be parachuting into Tehran. Of course, the people that will, one day, like the veterans who fought in the Iraq War, can look forward to their veterans' benefits being cut as the VA is closed down, as the promise is made, are broken again.
And so here we go again.
The most dis honest group of political leaders, the most incompetent, the most extreme, the people that have deployed the United States Marine Corps, the seventh Marines, the Guadalcanal Marines, with their M four slum and.
Live ammunition issued.
According to the Free Press, have acted presidentially to use the military to bomb a foreign nation, while simultaneously components of that military face forward the American people in a government of the people, by.
The people, for the people.
