It is eighteen days to go until the Democratic National Convention. Very soon the Democratic ticket will be formed. And today is the first day of election twenty twenty four, where I believe if the election were tomorrow, Vice President Harris would win. This is General Charles Q. Brown, Junior Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. This is Secretary Lloyd Austin, Secretary of Defense Black Jobs. Yesterday, Donald Trump appeared before the Conference of Black Journalists, and it was a disgrace

for the ages. Donald Trump revealed fully and completely the ransidity of his character and the racism that is deep within him, the deep malice that he has, and the rotten moral This is a man who dared in front of that audience to try to make the filthy conspirators and criminals of January sixth the moral equivalent of civil rights protesters. It was disgusting and disqualifying. It was supremely an interview for the ages. It was a fantastic act

of journalist. Now, everybody who's going to shine needs their turn on the stage, don't they. Rachel Scott was in a position to confront a former president, the Republican nominee, with reality to hold him to account, to fearlessly ask a most powerful man who seeks to be the most powerful in the world tough questions. Wow is the only word to describe it. Trump said she was nasty. She

wasn't nasty. She was direct in a way that Donald Trump, no doubt, surrounded by lunacy and sycophants, is unused to dealing with. Because Donald has constructed an alternate reality for himself that has endured for nearly all of his seventy eight years. He is the king of an imaginary empire. And anybody who does not submit to this guy's toxic delusions is targeted, is stigmatized, is made an enemy. These

people are bizarres weird. If you put a bandage on your ear to try to find common cause while gooey e looking at Donald Trump like a cult leader, like he's Jim Jones speaking to the Republican Convention in ninety three minutes of incoherence. I don't want you in charge of assigning power to people who have an aspiration to rule over me, you, and all of our children. No way.

This madness must be stopped. And yesterday Rachel Scott really revealed the depths of the ignorance and the racial mountics. It is eighteen days to go until the Democratic National Convention. Very soon the Democratic ticket will be formed. And today is the first day of election twenty twenty four, where I believe if the election were tomorrow, Vice President Harris would win. The Democratic Party has shed its loser dump. The Democratic Party has come back to life in an

astonishing fashion over these last weeks. Trump's numbers are cratering. He is under pressure, he is falling. Harris is surging, she is in the lead. And now the ugliness that I predicted is going to start to bloom in full. We will see a level of racial malice and antagonism

and attacks on Vice President Harris that are simply astonishing. Certainly, ten years ago, if you were to have predicted the future, it would have made a lot of sense to imagine that a black woman could be the nominee could be the president. What would have been amazing is to predict the ugliness of the racism, overt indirect, in the open, that she will be confronted with, not by nuts on the fringe, not by racists coming up from the swamps,

but by the Republican nominee for president. Of the United States of America. What happened yesterday at the Black Journalist Conference was a revelation. This is what Donald Trump looks like under pressure. He's losing again. And by the way, to all of the journalists who spent so many minutes in the aftermath of the assassination attempt pondering the impact they would have on Donald Trump's character, New Trump, they talked about the only question at hand is what lasted

for fewer seconds, New Trump or new Coke. But either way, there is no New Trump. Black jobs what a disgusting, an extraordinary thing to say in twenty twenty four for a man who seeks to lead the nations. Black Americans hold some of the most trusted jobs in America. They are news anchors, they are generals, secretaries of defense, and yes, the vice president of the United States of America. Black

jobs are teachers and professors and scientists, astronauts. Very soon an Artemis astronaut, a black Artemis astronaut will walk on the moon. That's a black job. This society where it was possible for a black man to rise to the presidency of the United States exists for less than sixty years. It remains fragile, but it's blooming though. Some people want

to kill the bloom. They want to restrict opportunity, which really means restricting freedom and liberty for some, while others declare they're more important, they're better, they're puer somehow, they have a right to rule. This is what JD. Vance believes. It's what a lot of them believe. And it's poison,

it's bad medicine. It's the greatest lie there is. The United States of America is the only nation in the world that is made up of all of the peoples of the world, where every language is spoken every day. Look at the Olympic boat. Our country is different because we are a vast mosaic of humanity, and from that comes immense power we have harnessed. Because of it, the genius of the world, of the human mind, of its imagination, of its creativity. There has been a constant wellspring of

rejuvenation because of it. There are only in our history seven hundred million people that have ever lived since the beginning of time who can claim the title the citizenship of American and more than half of them are alive right now, and one of them a daughter of immigrants to the country from Jamaica, from India, rose because of the excellence of her character, because of her achievements, to

the office of Vice President of the United States. This hour, she is the presumptive Democratic nominee for the presidency, and if the election, like I said, were tonight, she would be President of the United States, chosen by the American people to end this rancid maga era and to start to move this country into the future. Kamala Harris is not a DEI hire. Kamala Harris is the Vice President of the United States of America. And she got that job because she earned it. And that's what Donald Trump

should understand. But he can't and he never will, because Donald Trump is a racist, doesn't have the interests of the Black community in his heart, or the Puerto Rican community, or the Hispanic community. And the evidence of that is a lifetime of racial antagonism, in malice, in disgustingness in his life in New York York City, JD. Van says, women who don't have children, women who pursued titles and careers and achievements, or miserable cat ladies. I wonder if

the key to female happiness, according to jd. Vance is being raped because that's who he's running with. Someone found libel of rape, someone who's assaulted women by the dozens, degraded them, insulted them in everywhere you look. Anybody who holds Trump to account, he attacks them in the most vicious way possible. And when Donald Trump attacks, he reveals

a bit of himself. And what we saw was an elderly, obese, orange tinted racist with a comb over, and any good American when they see that, should have only one reaction contempt and then deep laughter about the idea of that clown ever being put back into the office of present Cident of the United States ever again. Kamala Harris for president. This is the warning. I'm Steve Schmidt. This is the warning, and I invite you to join. Subscribe on our substack,
