But you remember the tale, right.

When the Titanic struck the ice, when Frederick Fleet, the lookout, saw it through the black of the night, it was already too late. At the point of contact, the ship trembled,
but most people didn't even notice. The people who got into the lifeboats before midnight, well they survived and went on to live long lives.

Jd Vance has a peculiar point of view about the Constitution, about the immunities afforded to master men unleashed without consent on American cities to do violence, to kick indoors and point long guns, and to arrest children.
Here's what he said. After the Renegad shooting.
The administration seemed to suggest that ICE officers enjoyed near complete immunity. But today you told the Washington Examinor that, when appropriate, the administration might take disciplinary actions against ICE agents.
So is that a change of opinion.
I didn't say, and I don't think any other official within the Trump administration said that officers who engaged in wrongdoing would enjoy immunity. That's absurd. What I did say is that when federal law enforcement officers violate the law, that is typically something that federal officials would look into.
We don't want these guys to have kangaroo courts. We want them to actually have real due process, real investigation, because again, sometimes they're accused of wrongdoing and it turns out when you learn the context, they didn't actually do anything wrong. First of all, I wish the state officials in Minnesota would an investigate why you have so many people who are using their vehicles and other means to actually interfere with a legitimate law enforcement operation.
The president here is very simple.
You have a federal law enforcement official engaging in federal law enforcement action.
That's a federal issue.
That guy is protected by absolute immunity. He was doing his job. The idea that Tim Walls and a bunch of radicals in Minneapolis are going to go after and make this guy's life miserable because he was doing the job that he was asked to do is preposterous.

Final question, do you have any moral or ethical qualms about detaining a five year old on his way back from preschool.

We conduct legal, ethical and moral law enforcement missions here in Minneapolis. So as far as what you're saying with that particular individual, to be more specific, because I didn't detain a five year old and we're going to continue with that law enforcement mission. Oftentimes you will see violent illegal aliens that perhaps do have families.

I actually saw this terrible story while I was coming to Minneapolis. We just left Toledo, Ohio this morning for an economic Messican event, and I see this story and I'm a father of a five year old, actually a five year old little boy, and I think to myself, oh my god, this is terrible.
How did we arrest a five year old?
Well, I do a little bit.
More follow up research, and what I find is that the five year old was not arrested, that his dad was an illegal alien, and then they when they went to arrest his illegal alien father, the father ran. So the story is that ICE detained a five year old.
Well, what are they supposed to do? Are they supposed to let.
A five year old child frees to death? Are they not supposed to arrest an illegal alien in the United States of America.
He is, of course a man who looked into the camera and said Haitian's raiding pass.
He brought up, which I was kind of surprised by. I guess I would say, is he brought up this misleading, false claim that you yourself have talked about in recent days about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio abducting people's pets and eating them, which officials there have said is not true. You yourself acknowledged it may be false on Twitter, you still told people to keep spreading it. But Trump just amplified it to tens of millions of people who were watching.
Why push something that's not true?
Well, first of all, city officials have not said it's not true. They've said they don't have all the evidence. There no evidence. We've heard from a number of constituents on the ground, Caitlin, who both first hand and second hand reports saying this stuff is happening. So they very clearly meaning the people on the ground dealing with this, think that it is happening. And I think that it's important for journalists to actually get on the ground and
uncover this stuff for themselves. When you have a lot of people saying, Mike Petts are being abducted, or geese at the city Pond are being abducted and slaughtered right in front of us, this is crazy stuff.
He's a man who, over and over again has lied and lied and lied in the pursuit of power. A peculiar man, a fraud, a man who's called himself four different names at various times during his life. A man who famously made love to his.

We should appreciate the lessons of history when it comes to the tanking of children. These words by Anne Frank, because here in America it has come to pass that children are recording from their ceiling rooms the deprivations below of rights of liberty, of human dignity. In the United States, the Secret police have been given orders to invade and
attack jurisdictions to avenge Donald Trump's political laws. It is the most outrageous, it is the most un American, and it is the most unpatriotic thing that any president has ever done in the history of the United States. Day Confederates, extremist fascists, and their abuse of power will long be infamous, but it will not long last. And this is the warning criminal acts by mass men in this country. The bill will come due for them. The America that they are attacking will not go so easily into the night. And there are many more of us than there will ever be of them.
