Speaker 1

It is day two of the Trump regime, and we're going to the chapel. We're really the National Cathedral, because frankly, there hasn't been a reaction like we've seen on television to people going to church since Ambassador Thorne took his Sun damion. This is the warning. There is great offense, tremendous grievance playing out across the conservative media. Within just

forty eight hours of Donald Trump's ascension. You see, our unity has been spoiled by words of division, words about mercy that somehow affronted the President of the United States in all of his many appendages in the National Cathedral.

Speaker 2

In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who we're scared now. There are gay, lesbian, and transgender children in Democratic, Republican and independent families, some who fear for their lives. I ask you to have mercy, mister President, on those in our communities whose children fear that their parents will be taken away, and that you help those who are fleeing war zones and persecution in their own lands to find compassion and welcome here.

Speaker 1

He was upset, you can see it on his face the sneering the antagonism, His defenders on television and in the news media have lashed out in his defense, declaring that the words of Jesus Christ expressed by a bishop and an inaugural prayer service are an affront to Donald Trump. Scott Jennings laid it out on CNN.

Speaker 3

These woke Scapalians or Episcowochians or whatever they're calling themselves today, this is ridiculous.

Speaker 4

This was terrible.

Speaker 3

Donald Trump, I'm sure regrets participating in this event today, to be lectured to and politicized in a church this way, and I thought it was frankly a disgrace to what they did at this event. I don't know if this event will happened ever again. Because of this, this particular bishop took it upon herself to turn this into a complete and total circus and spectacle and laura ingram. Rather than a Christian service about God and country, they were forced to listen to the rantings of a lunatic.

Speaker 1

And of course, Sean Hannity employing a tactic where her Excellency's words are defined as deranged.

Speaker 5

She goes on a far left woke tirade in front of Donald Trump and jd Vance, their families, their young children. She made the service about her very own deranged political blos leafs with that with a disgraceful prayer ful of fear mongering and division.

Speaker 1

Poor Donald, he's confused because he has been surrounded for so long now by so many religious hosters who've told him he's Jesus Christ. He's lost his bearings. When he went to church, he thought the sermon would be about him, praising him, the man who just declared, with the sickest and most chilling words ever spoken at a presidential inaugural, that he was saved by God to make us great.

Speaker 6

Just a few months ago in a beautiful Pennsylvania field and assassin's bullet ripped through my ear. But I felt then, and believe even more so now that my life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to make America great again.

Speaker 1

Golden era is upon us. We have the bigcoin preacher from Detroit who introduced his big cooin with this, desecrated the words of doctor King with his over to top performance.

Speaker 7

And when we let freedom ring, we will be able to speed up that day.

Speaker 4

All of your.

Speaker 7

Children, black men and white men Protestant and Catholic jew in Gentile will be able to sing in the meaning of that old Negro spiritual free a last, free a last. Thank you God Almighty, we are free a last.

Speaker 1

And of course there is Franklin Graham, a whack job par excellence really without Pierre, a sinister man, a bigot of the highest order.

Speaker 4

Father. When Donald Trump's enemies thought he was down and out, you and you alone saved his life and raised him up with string and power by your mighty hand. We pray for President Trump that you'll watch over, protect guy, direct him, give him your wisdom from your throne on high. We asked that you would bless him and that our nation would be blessed through him. We also asked that you would bless to protect Millennia as first lady.

Speaker 1

All of them, flatterers of power, kneelers in front of it, all of them, the people who sat behind the tables that Christ himself overturned in the Temple. They are the modern Pharisees, each and every one of them. So it was shocking when Donald Trump and his family in the National Cathedral were exposed to a plea from mercy to power. They felt affronted by it and attacked by it. But no one attacked them. They were asked to do something, and they recoiled from it, as if they had been scolded.

It is as if the bishop threw out some holy water and it boiled when it touched them. What is the offense to plead for mercy? There are people who are scared right now? Are we not to acknowledge them? Perhaps acknowledging them means that we must acknowledge what scares them, which is the constancy of the threats now mixed with power and a capitulant media that will not tell the truth about the obvious. This is the headline for how the world's largest puzzle company covered this. A Nazi salute,

a Roman salute. There is no ambiguity about this. This is Elon Musk's Italian advisor tweeting out his joy at the spectacle of the return of the Empire, the Roman, an empire in the form of the United States, which is to rule the earth and set into the heavens under the direction of the man who will be what. Watch this again, this manifestation of evil.

Speaker 6

And I just want to say thank you for making it happen.

Speaker 4

Thank you.

Speaker 1

This is what the bishop is addressing. What is it that's to be done with this sick woman who would dare to preach the Gospel of Christ to the President and Vice President of the United States and their family. They are so angry at her. See the contempt, see the entitlement, the smirks, and the arrogancies. With each plea for mercy and tolerance and understanding, there is revulsion, is physical, and it is despicable, and it is frightening. But it is a call to arms to make good trouble. The

great testing crisis is coming in America. Be grateful for it. It's an our time and not in our children's. We are called, as people who believe in freedom and liberty to stand for the proposition of one man, one vote, and for the least amongst us. This is the warning. I'm Steve Schmidt. This is the warning, and I invite you to join. Subscribe on our substack, on our YouTube channel, follow us. Welcome to the community.
