Speaker 1

There is one week left until the American people make a monumental decision. It is the twenty ninth of October. Seven days to go until scores of tens of millions of us, from coast to coast, from sea to shining sea, walk into voting boots and cast our most precious gift, a vote, a choice that we get to make about the future of the country.

Speaker 2

This is the warning.

Speaker 1

Every vote is equal. Billionaires don't get to vote ten times. Every American citizen is a shareholder, a stakeholder. We together will decide the future of our country.

Speaker 2

We have one.

Speaker 1

Week left to sort it all out, to evaluate who the two people are that are running for president, Who are the people around them, What do they believe, what do they stand for? Are they parting a path that we have long been on? Are they trying to reorder our society, to remake the United States? All fair questions, and the answer in the case of Donald Trump is yes. He spent time yesterday with one of America's greatest religious

hucksters and fraudsters. He let her and her extremist friends touch him, lay hands on him, to speak in fork tongues, and pray over the convicted felon and adjudicated rapist.

Speaker 3

And I asked for divine visitations that you would continue to give them your wisdom. According to James one to five, that you had give him the mind of Christ. According to Philippians two five, that you said in Psalm thirty three that blessed is the nation whose Lord is God. And we just thank you for our fighter of faith, and for freedom and for religion God, and most of all for our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Speaker 1

Now let me offer another piece of advice. If it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck. Similarly, if a goose steps like a Nazi, it salutes like a Nazi, it talks like

a Nazi, it's probably a Nazi. Now, Donald Trump may experiencing what psychologists call a consciousness of guilt after his fascist rally in Madison Square Garden, where he did his very best to equal it raised the stakes on the boond rally of February twentieth, nineteen thirty nine, where giant banners of George Washington were hung on the stage, the stage that Trump spoke from, flanked by Spostikus here's what happened at Donald Trump's fascist rally. We heard replacement theory.

Speaker 4

And people know, in a country that has been taken over by a leadership class that actually despises them and their values and their history and their culture and their custom really hates them to the point that it's trying to replace them.

Speaker 1

We heard all of the orthodoxies of Hitlerism and fascism americanized.

Speaker 4

The cartels are gone, the criminal migrants are gone, the gangs are gone. America is for Americans and Americans only.

Speaker 1

But let me be clear, and I'm saying this because I know what I'm talking about. Donald Trump is a fascist. His movement, MAGA, is a fascist movement. The plan to deport tens of millions of people and to build the police state to do it is also a fascist idea.

Speaker 2

That's the thing about America. It's a country, the.

Speaker 1

Only one in the world, built not on blood and soil, not on generational tribal inheritances, but on an idea, perhaps the most important in world history, that all men and now women and people of color are created equally, creator with inalienable rights, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That is what is online in this selection. Donald Trump, over and over and over again, has told us exactly who he is.

Speaker 5

Kamala has imported criminal migrants from prisons and jails, from insane asylums and mental institutions from all around the world, from Venezuela to the Congo, oh Congo. They're sending a lot of that people because you know what, they don't want to take care of them, They're going to send them.

They're sending them here. We have a lot they come out of Congo prisons, but they come from Africa, they come from the Middle East, they come from a lot of places, and of course they come from South America. The jails all over the world are being emptied into our country, and only bed can come out.

Speaker 2

Now.

Speaker 1

The second richest person in the world who insisted that the newspaper he bought as a hobby horse put onto its masthead, democracy dies in darkness. It may be the dumbest and most cynical thing that has ever been placed on the front page of an American newspaper. Truly, it used to be just dumb and vapid, but now it's

become sinister and cancerous. Jeff Bezos wrote an op ed today, and in the op ed, the owner of the Washington Post declared print media in America can't be trusted, is not trusted, and therefore it can't take a stand editorially on the most profound question the United States is facing since the eve of the Civil War and the eve of the Second World War.

Speaker 2

And Jeff Bezos, a.

Speaker 1

Man so rich that he can build his own rockets to blast himself off into outer space, is a fraid aid to take a stand cowardice is a terrible, terrible.

Speaker 2

Disposition for a newspaper owner.

Speaker 1

This is a moment that requires fortitude, toughness, grit, and conviction, and obviously Jeff Bezos, who spent the summer cruising the Mediterranean on a five hundred million dollar.

Speaker 2

Boat, has none of the above.

Speaker 1

He isn't a national malignancy like Elon Musk, but he's just a soulless just as empty, and he should sell the Washington Post or put it into some type of trust before he loses every ounce of affection the American people have for him as he exposes himself as one more greedy billionaire who doesn't care about anything that's outside the view of his yacht. Now over at CNN another moment of disgrace.

Speaker 3

If you don't want to be called Nazis, stop.

Speaker 2

Table people by me.

Speaker 1

I never called you. I mean I'm not saying her saying.

Speaker 2

I'm a set of the Pubestinians. I'm used to it.

Speaker 1

Well, I hope your beaper doesn't go off.

Speaker 3

The thing is is that.

Speaker 4

You should know because you just said I should.

Speaker 6

Be kill No, I did not say, let me look about let me let me just.

Speaker 3

Guys, are you.

Speaker 5

Ryan?

Speaker 2

Let's put up Abby phillips.

Speaker 6

Apology before we get started. I want to just address what happened in the last segment. First, I want to apologize to Medi Hassan for what was said at this table. It was completely unacceptable. When we get this discussion started, you'll see that Ryan is not at the table. There is a line that was crossed there and it's not acceptable to me. It's not acceptable to us at this network. We want discussion, We want people who disagree with each

other to talk to each other. But when you cross the line of a complete lack of civility, that is not going to happen here on this show.

Speaker 1

Every night, Abby Phillips in all of the CNN hosts with very very few exceptions, like Aaron Burnett, whom you would never see a freak show like Ryan Gooderski on her show, but you'll see it on Abby Phillips because every night the producers curate a combustible freak show. There's always a Ryan Gooderski on the Abby Phillips set. It's not a show for serious conversation. Scott Jennings appears on it constantly. Last night, a man who was once accused of rape, Ryan Gooderski, a man who had no.

Speaker 2

Business being on CNN.

Speaker 1

A liar, a propagandist, a political extremist. Yesterday, Ryan Goodersky looked at my friend Metti and accused him of being a member of Hamas and suggested that he might have a pager on him that would soon blow up, potentially injuring Ryan.

Speaker 2

Nobody should be.

Speaker 1

Surprised that Ryan Godursky would say something like that, and no one should be surprised that he would say it on CNN. Cynicism is how Ryan Goderski wound up on television. Cynicism is the reason the Washington Post won't make an endorsement. Transactional cynicism is how the American media has failed the country during these last nine years. Price is the fascist movement that stands on the edge of taking power and authoring a catastrophe. The Washington Post will not save us.

CNN will not save us. The New York Times will not save us. The only people who will save America now are the American people. And we have to save it from an awful corruption that we have let swirrel in our politics, in our media, in our corporations, in our culture, everywhere around us. Donald Trump is an evil man, and I don't use that word lightly, but there are no adjudicated rapists who are an evil man.

Speaker 2

He's a felon, He's a liar.

Speaker 1

He incited an insurrection against the American constitution, he betrayed his oath.

Speaker 2

He's a fascist.

Speaker 1

What Trump is is perfectly clear. What remains murky is what type of country we are, or we the type of people? And are we the type of Americans who are so weak, so pitiful that we are the ones finally that open the gates and allow a fascist to take power. Wrapped in the flag and carrying across Let us pray that that is not the case, and we measure up in the same way that our grandparents and their parents and our parents did and we make the right choice for our kids, for our flag, for the

United States of America. This is the warning. I'm Steve Schmidt. This is the warning, and I invite you to join. Subscribe on our substack, on our YouTube channel, follow us. Welcome to the community.
