It is October seventh. This is the warning.
The American government remains shut down. In the Southern Caribbean. There is a military build up underway. The air traffic control towers are empty because all of the air traffic controllers have ever been fired or been locked out of their jobs. Because of the government shutdown, there is chaos everywhere in America. These are the scenes from Portland and from Chicago. The inciter of the violence of the chaos is none other than the President of the United States and his top cabinet officials.
What word should be.
Used to describe this obscenity. A senior White House official Stephen Miller on CNN with Boris Sanchez, and this is his demeanor.
Now they are actually, as we speak, trying to overthrow the core law enforcement function of the federal government. Of course, this is I think what we're talking past each other.
When ICE officers have to street battle against Antifa hand to hand combat every night to come and go from their building, when they try to exit in a vehicle, when they are swarmed and surrounded and they try to tip the vehicle over, When people bring weapons to an ICE facility to try to engage in direct violent assault against ICE officers. What is the purpose? It is to prevent Immigration and Customs enforcement from carrying out the mission the American people elected them to do.
There is no democratic government in the world anywhere, no country, no prime minister, no president that would tolerate this.
When in our history have we tolerated unlawful, riotous assemblies night after night around FBI buildings or atf buildings or DEA buildings. This is the textbook definition of the memes terrorism.
The arrogance, the creening, cocky, strident, beligeran assholary of somebody who works for us.
And this person has.
The gall the indecency to go on television and to declare half the country are enemies of the state, and to threaten half the country and America's greatest cities with military invasion, takeover, and occupation because there is an insurrection underway. What this is a type of mass hysteria, burgeoning on a mass delusion, insanity. There is no hand to hand combat outside of the ICE facility, regardless of what Steven
Miller says. But there are federal agents on the roof shooting robber bullets at unarmed, peaceful protesters Below Donald Trump was asked a question whether all of this was cause to order deployments of military force into the country under the Insurrection Act, and Trump's answer to that was, maybe.
The Insurrection Act.
Is that going to be formally invoked? Is that a way to kind of get around all this opposition? Well, it is a way to get around it.
If we don't have to use it, I wouldn't use it. If you take a look at what's been going on in Portland, it's been going on for a long time.
And that's insurrection. I mean, that's pure insurrection.
It is all craziness, and none of it is real. There is no war in Portland. There is no siege in Portland. All there is is an out of control fascist administration that is bearing down on the rights and the liberties of the American people. That is singularly the most important story of any of our lifetimes. And yet the new executive editor of the CBS Evening News, Barry Weiss, well, she missed the story, she thought, and thinks the defining story of this age are the woke imbeciles who dominate
the New York Times editorial page. They're obnoxious, they're annoying, and I have no doubt that they bullied the out of Barry Weiss and did a lot of damage to her, and yet things have worked out okay because the son of the second richest man in the world, to Trump oligarch, who has spent ends of millions of dollars on the cause of Trump, has made her the boss of CBS News and purchased her free press substack for one hundred and fifty million dollars, which proves the point that John
McCain was one hundred percent right when he said anything is possible in America. David Ellison, Larry's son, has never worked an hour in his life. He is a child of indescribable privilege, a prince Land, the soft handed diletant who's never had a bad day, a bad hour, or a bad thirty seconds.
In his life.
And he thinks that he has a bead on what is and what is not news from the cloistered shell that he grew up in, and from that viewpoint looking down, he has come to the conclusion that the way to restore trust in the American media is to turn it over the Tiffany Network, that is to Barry Weis, who made her appearance today by saying, let's win and let's just do the fucking news, and Edward R. Morrow and
Walter Cronkite rolled over in their graves. Now, for Barry Weiss, it doesn't matter that sixty eight percent of israelis opposed the Net and Yahoo government. For Barry Weiss, Net and Yahoo is a holy mission.
And here's the thing.
When it comes to trust in the media, and particularly as CBS, it's gone, and it's gone forever, and it won't be restored, and certainly not by Barry Weits because Barry Weiss has her head in the sand, and down there it's dark and all she can see is what she's blinded by, the hunt for the woke at the expense of seeing. With the price for that haunt ins the collapse of the republic, which is a pretty big story if you happen to be the top editor at CBS News.
But that story can't be reported.
Because it would offend the sensibilities of Larry Allison, and the attachments of nepotism demand that Larry's politics not be offended, certainly not by his privileged son, the stunt pilot, who now runs the news network with Barry Weiss, and their goal is that enough people will say, oh, we trust
you to tell us what's happening in the world. If there were two people out of the eight billion of us who for sure don't have a beat on what's happening all around us everywhere, it's Barry Weiss and David Allison. The free press has been a brilliant success. He captured perfectly the zeitgeist of a political moment. Barry Weis is a very successful activist.
For her cause.
Her cause is not the truth, oz is not the news.
Her causes her agenda.
And her agenda serves the cause of MAGA, and it serves the cause of Netanyanga. And she's been blatant about that, been honest about it. When she says let's go do the news, what she really means is, let's go fight for our side to win against the other. Except for the fact, if you're at a news network, you shouldn't look at the world through a binary prism black and white, as if there are two sides in a war against one another that in and of itself identifies you and
identifies Barry Weiss as a partisan in that fight. Because an American doesn't see.
The world like that.
An American sees what's happening to the country and can understand that the loss of liberty is the preeminent story of our time. It's just a story that can't be reported at CBS News anymore because well, it defends David and Barry, and that works great for Larry. This is the warning. I'm Steve Schmidt. This is the warning.
