What does propaganda look like? Would you be susceptible to it? I mean, if you saw it, could you tell what it is? Would you know why you're being shown at Would you understand what it is that the people who created it hope you will do after you absorb it. It is Monday, December fifteenth, and I'm Steve Schmidt. This is the morning, and this is propaganda. Some say the greatest radio broadcast in all of history was Edward R. Morrow from Vienna in nineteen thirty eight, awaiting the arrival
of Adolph Hitler. It was the first point to point broadcast of a live event. What it was was the beginning of an end of the world, as it was on the edge of a season of tremendous destruction.
And the same man, Edward R.
Morrow of CBS, the Columbia Broadcasting System, the Tiffany Network.
Would be there at the end.
In Buchenwald, General Eisenhower assembled every reporter by direct command in the vicinity of the Allied Operation Area, where these camps that no one quite knew how to describe were being found everywhere, Corpses lying by the thousands in box cars,
in ditches, murdered by the SS by the Nazis. Eisenhower understood somehow in that moment that one day it would all be denied, denied by people like Nick Fuentes, denied by people like Tucker Carlson, who says he's not denying it, just hosting people who deny it and asking questions together. There is an investigative report about the Patriot Front, a Nazi organization, setting up Camp and Tennessee, terrifying its neighbors. These mass men, just like Ice is masked agents wear.
They're masked to terrify, intimidate. They are Nazis and they are allied with Erica Kirk, with Nick Fuentis, with Megan Kelly, with Tucker Carlson. All of these people are connected. It's like the Kevin Bacon game, except in the case of
all these Nazis and the white Christian nationalist movement. Whether it's Alex Jones, the Newtown Denier, whether it's Tucker Carlson, whether it's Erica Kirk, whether it's Charlie Kirk, whether it's Nick Flentis, whether it's Candas Owens, whether it's Timpoole, whether it's Benny Johnson, whether it is any of these wretched, lying, dishonest fascists.
They are all entwined.
With one another, in each other's extremism, in each other's grift, in each other's caw, which is the cause of self interest.
And power in the name of Donald Trump.
Of course, none of those associations were talked about when Barry Weiss, the editor in chief, the hand pick of David Allison, the boy the son of the world's second richest man, who has been given a network as if it was a ferrari. It is the ultimate story of affluenza run a muck. But at any rate, Barry Weiss has decided to get rich and do so deliberately by
playing a very specific role. She is the Lenny Reefenstahl of the Maga movement of the Christian Nationalists, stressing it up with a benign face.
Do you think our political leaders have a responsibility to turn the temperature down right now? Well, I think everyone has a responsibility to do that, and I'm doing my part. I'm not in control of other people.
Does this seem benign to you? We know who killed Charlie Kirk. It was a lone gunman, a sick young man just recently laughing in court no different than a Luigi Mangione. But Erica Kirk blames millions. It was apparently a collective act, and that must be the position of CBS News because it was unchallenged, as was any question
asked of. Erica Kirk improved deeply about the cost of her husband's beliefs, For example, the idea that the gun violence and the deaths associated with it the thousands a year.
Well, for the people who say that my husband might have incited violence, I know that was not your question, but I'm going to put a squash on it before anyone else can attach to that. My husband never incited violence. He never once said go after them because they're saying xyz and they deserve to die. My husband never once said that, and he never would. Did he say, come to the front of the line. I'll put my mic down. Tell me why you believe that. That's interesting. I never
thought of that. What have you thought of this? People heckling laughing at them? Stop that took a lot of courage for them to come up here. Stop doing that.
It's worth the price of the Second Amendment. That wasn't interrogated. None of the racial supremacy was none of the demagaugurey.
In fact, Erica.
Kirk got away with saying Charlie Kirk debated and he was nonviolent, which is nonsense. Because any person that participated in this country with telling the American people that an election was stolen and that an impostor sat in the Oval office, every person who knew better who did that and cited violence because in this country with three hundred million guns, guess what it would trigger a violent response.
And that was the point. It was a grift, it was a game.
Charlie Kirk was was another version of Alex Jones.
And so it was appropriate in some form, some.
Fashion that the sickest interview in the history of CBS News the one that desecrated it and defamed it, not by some outside for us, but by its own hands, wrecking its credibility for all time, that it would come on the anniversary of the New Town massacre and the widow of one of the chief evangelists for gun violence would try to guilt and shame the country into a collective responsibility for the death of her husband who lived
on the edge of violence in support of an extremist movement. Now, don't be confused I have been an unapologetic and absolute defender of even the most odious people to speak under the protection of the First Amendment, and that concludes Charlie
Kirk and Erica Kirk. But I share no guilt in Charlie Kirk's death, but I do resent mightily the foisting of his poisonous views on me in the Name of God by a millionairess who works for David Ellison and is ruining a network while she preens about and says that the truth meaning Erica Kirks, propaganda is news because it's not.
It's propaganda.
And when it comes to Christian nationalists propaganda, understand this, that's a deadly type of propaganda. It kills because in the end, what it believes in is the power of men to say that when they talk, it's the word of God coming out of their mouths. Sometimes the gateway to the political violence that always follows when these people take power is books like stop in the Name of God.
But if there were one person that absolutely no one should listen to when it comes to delivering a faith based message is the executive editor of CBS News, with the widow of Charlie Kirk fronting for a poisonous, extremist, vicious movement that looks at a lot of human beings and declares them less than you guessed.
It in the name of God, except it's not in God's name.
It's in Maga's name, It's in Trump's name, and evil is the name of what it is.
This is the warning.
