The VD Clinic – Episode 17 – The Handmaid’s Tale

EPISODE 17 – [REVISED AUDIO] – Blessed be the fruit.  Trigger warning…  Vanessa & Daeron have returned with Margaret Atwood’s “The Handmaid’s Tale”, & needless to say, it’s intense.  That’s to be expected when you’re talking feminist dystopias & women’s rights.  Even though we were planning to discuss just the book & the 1990 Volker Schlondorff film, we inevitably discuss the Hulu series adaptation too.  Thankfully for Halloween, we get spooky  with Andrew & Matty from FriGay the 13th & cover Shirley Jackson’s novel “The Haunting of Hill House” & the 1963 Robert Wise film version “The Haunting”.  And our book giveaway is still going on.  Let us know on Twitter what your favorite noir book or movie is.
