Episode description

Hei! Welcome to The Urbanista. Season 2

The podcast for urban designers and city planners where we discuss about city water management and sustainable urban development. In this episode we talk with Martin Lundholm - Project Engineer at Skanska. Martin has worked for the Skellefteå kommun. The city of Skellefteå in northern Sweden has stated openly that they want to become the most sustainable city in Europe, a tall order that our guest have contributed to.

In this episode we discussed an important topic: How to actually implement (build) a project with a strong sustainability focus.

  • How a sustainability project is actually executed?
  • What Skellefteå did differently in this project?
  • How did they follow up to ensure the sustainability focus stayed top of mind?
