Okay, folks. Welcome back. Hope you're ready for another deep dive. Because today, we are talking about something huge e.
Yeah. This is a big one.
This is gonna be good. You guys ready? HubSpot dropped this just the other day.
I know. It feels like we were just talking about the last big Hub Spot update.
I know. Right? Like, they just keep coming.
Hub Spot's just chugging away.
And this one I mean, buckle up because it's called free form prompting. And, it's part of Content Remix, which you guys already know is, like, this magical tool where you can, like, take a blog post
Yeah.
And turn it into, like, an Instagram post or a script or whatever.
Pretty much. Yeah.
But now with free form prompting, you have, like, total control over what that content looks like. Mhmm. Like, imagine turning your latest blog post into, like, a super targeted press release.
See, that's the thing that I think people don't realize yet. Like, with the old content remix, it was great for, like, quick transformations.
Right.
You know, you could take your blog post and be like, okay. Give me a Twitter thread out of
this. Exactly.
But what if you want something more specific?
Like, you don't just want AMY press release.
Right. You want a press release that focuses on, say, like, the productivity benefits Alright.
Cliff.
Whatever you're talking about on
the blog post.
Okay. So now I'm really intrigued. Lay it on me what I asked free form prompting. Like, break it down for us.
So, basically, it's a new node in Content Remix.
Okay.
And it lets you give the AI, like, super specific instructions.
What do you custom orders?
Yes. Exactly. Like, think of it this way.
Yeah. You're at a restaurant. Right? I'm hungry already.
With the old content remix, it's like, you can only order off the menu.
So I'm stuck with the veggie burger.
If that's what's on the menu, then yeah.
Ugh. Okay. So free form prompting is like, I can tell the chef exactly what I want.
Exactly. You're like, I want grass fed beef aged cheddar, no pickles, extra crispy fries.
Woah. Okay. So I'm not just stuck with preset options anymore. Nope. That's huge for creativity.
It is. Okay.
But I'm gonna play devil's advocate here for a sec. Okay. Why should I care?
Because it's not just about saving a few clicks. It's about getting the exact CT insights you need without having to wade through a ton of noise.
Give me an example.
Okay. Imagine you've got this massive market research report.
Oh, yeah. Those things can be brutal.
Right. And you're looking for, like, specific stats on, say, Gen z shopping habits.
Been there.
So instead of, like, spending hours skimming through the whole thing
Please no.
You can use free form prompting to pull out just that information.
Oh my god.
So you just tell it, give me all the stats about Gen z shopping habits from this report, and boom. You've got exactly what
you need in seconds. Okay. Now that is powerful. Right.
It's about working smarter, Okay.
Now that is powerful. Right. It's about working smarter, not harder. It's about not pulling your hair out. Because, seriously, you know how many times I've gotten AI generated content that's almost there? Oh, yeah. But it's just missing that little something extra. You know? And that's the beauty of free form prompting. You're not at the mercy of the AI anymore. Right. You're in control. You give it super specific instruction.
Like, you're talking to a teammate. Okay.
So let's get practical here. How does this actually work? Walk me through it like I'm a total newbie.
Okay. Say you've got a blog post about, let's say the benefits of meditation for entrepreneurs Right. And you want a press release highlighting the productivity angle. Right. So you drop that blog post into Content Remix, add a free form prompting note, and you literally type out, write a press release about this blog post focusing on how meditation boosts entrepreneur productivity.
That's it. Seriously.
That's it.
That sounds almost too easy.
I know. Right?
Okay. But are there any, like, secret tips to writing a killer prompt?
Be clear and specific.
Got it. Think about your ideal output. Like, what do I want this thing to actually look like?
Exactly. And the more detailed your instructions, the better the results.
Okay. That makes sense.
And, also, just a quick reminder, this feature is available to certain HubSpot tiers. So professional enterprise content, pro enterprise.
Right. Right. So not everyone has access to this just yet. Not yet. Okay. And now I'm seeing here an example too that free form prompting can do way more than just change formats.
Oh, yeah.
It can actually extract key information from, like, say, a super long white paper. Yes. Give me an example.
Okay. So imagine you're prepping for a presentation, and you need to pull out all the quotes from, like, a 50 page document that support a specific argument.
Oh, been there.
Right. Instead of, like, manually reading through the whole thing and highlighting everything.
Yeah. It takes forever. You can use free form prompting to do that for you. So I could just say, give me all the quotes about x. Pretty much. Yeah. That's mind bogglingly efficient. I'm already thinking of all the ways this could streamline my research and analysis. Right. Like, this feels like just the tip of the iceberg.
I agree. We're just scratching
the surface of what's possible with free form prompting.
Okay. So before we wrap up, any final thoughts for our listeners? Yeah. As you start experimenting with free form prompting, here's something to think about. What if
you used it to analyze your competitors' content? Imagine the insights you could uncover about their messaging, their strategies, their strengths, and weaknesses.
Okay. That opens up a whole new world of competitive intelligence.
Exactly.
So much to explore. Thank you so much for this incredible deep dive.
Of course. Happy remixing.
And to all our listeners out there, happy remixing to you too. And we'll see you next time for another HubSpot deep dive.
See you next time.
