Carmel Gamble

On the 12th November 1989, locals in Rodborough near Stroud in Gloucestershire saw smoke billowing from a neighbouring cottage. They phoned the Fire Brigade who came out to the scene and sadly found the body of a woman in the wreckage. The surprising thing was that she had not died in the fire; she had been murdered before it had been started. What happened to Carmel Gamble and why?
