39: John Stonehouse

On the 20th November MP for Walsall North ,John Stonehouse went for a swim on the beach close to the Fontainbleu Hotel in Miami, Florida. When he didn't return for an appointment, his business associate James Charlton went out to look for him but found only a pile of his clothes in a beach hut. The police, Scotland Yard and the FBI became involved in searching for him and a huge investigation was launched. This case was however not what it appeared to be.
