On the 26th April 1999, the nation was shook by the cold blooded murder of TV presenter and much loved personality Jill Dando. Her murder on her own doorstep in broad daylight baffled her loved ones and the public. What led up to such a horrific crime and why did it happen? The police investigation into the murder would uncover lots of information and some suspects but to this day the case has still not been solved. This episode delves into her life, the murder and the investigation that was blighted by the other manhunt going on in London at the time; the nailbomber. What happened to Jill?
