On the 13th July 1953, Father Henryk Borynski, a chaplain to the Polish community in Bradford, West Yorkshire disappeared without a trace. It was reported in newspapers that he had been a victim of a Soviet plot to kidnap him. It became an international investigation into Soviet spies, confessions and the suggestion that another priest had had a hand in his disappearance or murder.
