Episode description

On the 18th October 1930, Mr William and Mrs Alice Thomas from Trenhorne in Cornwall decided to visit the coastal town of Bude. They invited their neighbour Mrs Annie Hearn to accompany them. After eating some salmon sandwiches that Annie had brought, Alice began to feel unwell. After an illness that lasted a number of weeks, Alice died and people began to speculate if it had anything to do with the sandwiches she had eaten. The case of the poisoned sandwiches had begun.
