Episode description

Hey guys, Happy Black History month to all of you. This month I will be doing a series on black queer icons often forgotten about when we talk about their history and give them space on this podcast. My goal is to provide space and to shed light on these amazing individuals that were part of LGBTQ+ and black history in so many beautiful ways that deserve to be celebrated

Today we are talking about Assotto saint, a creative in New York who was among the first to publicly disclose his HIV status. Saint created space for Black Gay Writers and creatives, from his books compiling their art to his theater and publishing, he always intentionally made space and that is why I am so honored to bring you this episode.

Don't forget to rate our podcast and follow us on Spotify. We are posting an episode every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 am this month so you do not want to miss out.
