BIO:

Joining us today on the UNPACKIN' it Podcast is the President of the Washington Commanders, Jason Wright. He was hired in 2020 and is responsible for leading the organization's business divisions, including operations, finance, sales, and marketing. In addition to leading a historic transformation of a sports franchise, he is the first Black team president in the history of the NFL and was the youngest team president in the League at the time of his hiring. He is the fourth former NFL player to become president of a team.


Jason spent seven years as a running back in the NFL with the 49ers, Falcons, Browns, and Cardinals. He was a team captain and NFLPA player representative for the Arizona Cardinals during the 2011 NFL lockout. He played his college football at Northwestern where he was the president of FCA and the winner of the first-ever Bobby Bowden Award.
