BIO:

Our guest today is the play-by-play announcer for the Colorado Rockies. Before that he did play-by-play for the Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves and Colorado State.


He is a survivor of the crash-landing of United Airlines Flight 232 on July 19, 1989. After escaping the plane, he returned to the wreckage to rescue an 11-month-old baby. His book, “Chosen to Live” describes the experience.


In 2015 he cycled 3,000 miles across 12 states in 7 days in the Race Across America and the whole trip was documented.
