Stripped, Beaten and Robbed. - Audio

In the parable known as "the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus shows how the Samaritan acts with covenant loyalty (loving Kindness) towards the man who was stripped, beaten and robbed and symbollically brings about reunification of the northern and southern kingdoms in his role as Messiah. Jesus shows how covenant people can reach across the space that divides them to achieve unity and models a way to restore covenantal unity when it has been challenged by the forces of history and culture.
