Baptism: Then And Now - Audio
Jan 12, 2014•26 min
Episode description
As we celebrate and remember the Baptism of the Lord, we see how Jesus undertakes baptism for repentance of sin by John the Baptist on behalf of the covenant people of Israel. Through his actions on behalf of the people, "all righteousness" begins to be established and the Kingdom begins to made real in the world. The task of acting for the corporate interest of the covenant people, and not solely out of individual interest, is an important lesson for us today as the people of the new covenant.
