Hello beautiful souls. I hope you can hear me. I'm driving on the highway just doing a little audio recording and wanted to share how impactful and and meaningful and helpful this flow state process has been for me. If you're not familiar, the best way is to. I'll put it in the show notes. It's a 28 minute podcast audio recording that I did a few months ago. It's it's on the Unite show and I'll link it, link it in here.
But that really gives like a deep overview of like exactly what I'm talking about and and what I do. And yeah, I guess for this one I just wanted to share a little bit. It just feels like when I'm having a rough time or feeling not fully primed and ready to go and having a down day or just feeling stressed or triggered.
I've got this practice now that feels like it's so helpful and it just feels like having a warm bath or like someone just, you know, loving you and taking care of you and saying all these nice things to you. It's just such a lovely thing. So I'm going to, I'm going to just talk out loud what I usually do in my mind when I do this practice, just to kind of give you a sense of it. And I usually do it when I'm driving. For some reason.
It's the it's the sweet spot where I'm I can just really flow into it. And I'm, I'm not distracted on devices. I'm not kind of tempted to just do something else like you know, I just have to like sit and drive. So it's it's seems to be really helpful. The other time is walking, but sometimes that can be a little bit more distracting or it's harder for me to get into it. So for whatever reason driving has been a really great way to to really like get into it.
I can do it at home or or walking or whatever. So whatever works for you. But yeah, for whatever reason this has been helpful. So when I when I start and basically just the whole time I'm meditating, I'm focusing on my breath and just the goal is to be still and open and
receptive. And then what happens is when I hit that point in meditation where I'm feeling so good that these impulses of movement and thought that are so juicy and joyful and lovely that feel so good, just kind of bubble up and they just sort of happen. And I'm, I'm not doing anything. I'm not trying. I'm not forcing. The only thing I'm trying to do is focus on surrendering and
being stable and clear. And and once in a while I'll kind of step out of it and check in and just make sure that I'm still in that nice, clear place. And I'll, I'll, I'll kind of, you know, demo how I do that. So here we go. So I'm just focusing on my third eye. If I was not driving, I would close my eyes, but I I won't hear. So I'm just kind of opening my field of vision. Breathing. I got a little neck movement, like my head went back involuntarily. Almost feels just like energy.
Wants to move and words are starting to come and know I'm enough. I love myself so much. So blessed, so worthy. So now I'm talking. So as you can hear, it's just like if it, if it. If you're not getting like that, you're probably not in the receptive mode. Like it just feels like love and
ease and lovely and so nice. But I've also found sometimes if I've got some specific triggers, negative stuff coming up, that if I do a similar practice, it can kind of guide me around that and soften the edges a bit and it'll sound a bit different. It'll be more soothing about a specific thing, like it's OK you don't have to do everything, you're not bad if you're not focused all the time, blah blah blah. But right now this is where I'm at.
So but the the the practice the basic practice is simply surrender. Try and find that sweet spot where there's no thought, where you're meditating and just really focus on breath or one thing like really really in that like deep, nice meditative state. But then when the impulses and the nice feelings and thoughts
arise just let it happen. Just sort of be open and receptive to that and and if when you meditate you just want to like start crying or the the thoughts that come up are really negative it's like OK you can you know do whatever feels good to to move through that situations. Of course crying is great and sometimes it's helpful to kind of like you know be mad but that's a different that's a different process that's like you know kind of moving moving
up the scale. This is this is more of anyways I guess it's all the same so but sometimes I have found that if I am in a if I'm in a wobbly state and I have some negative stuff going on and I try and do this and the energy is really intense and it feels like I have to like push through it. I can kind of go for a bit but then I end up feeling like burnt out and tired and just triggered and sad and upset about it.
Whereas this almost always leads to this like higher and higher and higher better better and better feeling state. So yeah I think you get the point I won't, I won't keep going. But basically what happens is I'll go from this general like, and sometimes I'll do this for like hours. It's just so, 'cause it just feels so good. And that's why driving is nice, 'cause I'm like, I'm not doing anything, I'm just going to
drive and it just feels so good. And then so like phase one is I'll go from in, you know, in that everything I want is coming to me so blessed. I know I'm enough. It might sound silly it might sound whatever, but the idea is that I'm focusing on things that are non resistant and that feel good and or I'm not, I'm not focusing on I'm just allowing them. But that there's something about that that kind of builds this foundation of momentum.
And then after I do that for a while, and it all depends on where I'm at. So, you know, sometimes it's 5 minutes, sometimes it's half an hour, but usually within the first bit I'll get into this state where I'll move out of like general just good feeling thoughts. And I will be drawn to my home screen on my phone and I'll just look briefly and glance at an app icon and that will sort of prompt a more specific lot about South.
For the Facebook Messenger icon, it's sometimes about friends and connections. So it's like, oh, I'm so loved. So many people love me. So many people want to support so blessed yadda yadda. And then for the Unite one, it's like I'm so excited for the United da da da. So it's it's kind of I get into that state and then usually after that I will get into a another kind of general but it's like a higher level like better feeling more clear more precise.
Sometimes I'll be getting specific words about specific things to either soothe or just goose up and feel better. And then at a certain point I'll usually, and this all depends on my energy. Sometimes after a while I'm just like, OK, that was fun. I'm going to listen to podcast and watch a movie and and just to know that like, that's OK and to not worry about it and just like, OK, that's where my energy is at right now. That's the most helpful.
And I find if I can just follow this, surrender, do whatever I'm kind of drawn and inspired to. I will eventually like, build up the good energy or I'll go to bed or I'll something will happen. I'll be drawn into this really nice place. Whereas if I try and force it, I try and like focus and push and even like try and feel too good, too quick or try and clear stuff when I'm not in the right spot. It just kind of wobbles and I I don't feel good.
So so then after getting into the specifics more you know, being drawn to my app screen and specifically thinking about different things. But again, I'm not doing it, I'm I'm just being drawn to it. I'm being inspired. I'm letting the words just come. I'm kind of in a channeling type state. And then after that I'll often get to this place where I will be kind of still like Neo in the Matrix where everything kind of slows down.
I won't be really drawn to anything in specific and the only words that will come to me are what do you want to talk about? And I'll just keep getting that. And sometimes I will prompt a question and then receive an answer that's different than what I've been thinking usually, which has has kind of helped me see that this is not just like
my mind. Like I'll get like very specific answers that don't, that I have to like, process and think about and it's not kind of what was on my top of mind. Or sometimes I will be then guided from that place of real clarity to soothe and clean up something that's been bothering me. And I found that that's really the only time. Well, I shouldn't say that, but I found that definitely the surrendering state is.
It has been the best way for me to handle any of that kind of stuff where it feels like I need to, like, clean up some stuff. It's I'm just getting the same old pattern over and over. And it's annoying. And I'm like, I know there's a deeper thing here. And I know I just kind of kind of talk myself out of it and feel better about it and whatever, you know, move some energy. So yeah, so that that sometimes happens. And again, sometimes I'm just drawn to relax and listen or
watch something. Sometimes I'll be inspired to like a specific action. Like I'll just get like, whatever. A lot of the time I'll get into like, brainstorm. But it's not like it's different than a brainstorm because it's like I just get a very clear answer. Like a, the brainstorm is like every idea all at once. Whereas with this I'm like, OK, what should we do with our events? And then I just kind of go and I get like very, like clarity.
And sometimes I'll have to like play the game of like hot and cold question and answer, like, should we do this? No. Should we do this? Ah, OK, that's the one. And what I found is that it feels kind of like I'm any musicians out there will know this. Like, I'm sort of tuning my instrument and when it's tuned, it just it just plays
beautifully. Like if you know how to play it and it's tuned plays beautifully, but if you know how to play an instrument and it's not tuned, it's going to sound like shit no matter what you do. Unless you're just playing one string or whatever. Like it's it's not, it doesn't sound good. And I feel like a lot of people are out there with untuned instruments being like, this song sucks, this partner sucks, this job sucks.
And it's like, well, maybe, but you can also tune your instrument and then I love, Abraham said.
This thing about if you're in a situation you don't like, the best way to shift is to make it something that you do like and to make the most of it, make the best of it feel as good as possible about it, Just love it if it's not like if it's like a job or something that you just feel like you can't even just not do. And by doing that, you either create this vibration around this subject that is so clear and pure that only things that match that vibration can now be
part of that subject. If you really do a good job of it and don't bring in old stuff or focus on the reality of the now, but are really focused on what you love about it, why you love it, how it's good for you and others, All that stuff like really get into a juicy like good feeling place about it.
And either it will sort of come up to meet you and this works for people to either it or they will come up to meet you and you will start to see more and more of more and more of that like juicy goodness or they'll just kind of spiral and spiral out of your life and and and it'll kind of shift something else. So yeah, it's really, that's really interesting. All right, Feel like that's enough sending y'all so much
