This week on The Uncommon Truth, we're taking a look back at the first episode of the season. This episode aired back in May, and set the tone for the whole of season 3, a season that has been all about discovering what "the Kingdom of Heaven is like" according to the parables of Jesus.

So what are parables? What is their purpose? And why was it Jesus' preferred mode of communication? More importantly, what can they tell us about the Kingdom and how we should respond?
