We had the Deck Code Expert, Glenn Mathewson, from the Building Code College to discuss the topic of Building codes but specifically in regards to decks. The contractor generally views code as deterrent placed on them from doing their jobs. Glenn see's code in a much different light. Code is the cookbook for which Gourmet and life changing designs can come out of. The Code is a freeing tool that shows us the guidelines on known ways of doing things at this current point in time.
