Episode 22: Scott and Andy Eide make the case for and against each U.S. Division team for the 2015-16 season

In the opening podcast for the 2015-16 season, Scott ( @ssepich ) is joined by Andy Eide ( @AndyEide ) to talk about the muddled U.S. Division race and how each team could have a successful season. After exhausting that topic, things go off the rails as they talk about 3-on-3 overtime, lower-tier junior leagues in the area, and the perils of walking near the WHL players as they go through their pregame routine. https://theusdivision.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/the-u-s-division-ep-22-9_16_15.m...

Episode 17: Dylan Bumbarger joins Scott to talk Winterhawks

There are a lot of valid reasons for the Portland Winterhawks to be struggling, but an 0-5 start is still jarring for the four-time defending conference champs. They also touch on Scott’s Top 25 Winterhawks of all-time list, which can be viewed here . Note: There have been issues with Firefox playing the file correctly, so I would recommend using a di...

Special episode: WHL commissioner Ron Robison

With the WHL final approaching this weekend, the league had a media session today (Friday, May 2) that included players and coaches for both teams as well as WHL commissioner Ron Robison. I spoke with Robison, along with local media members Ron Callan and Molly Blue. This short podcast is just the audio of that mini-press conference, as most of what was discussed is of interest to fans in Portland and in the U.S. Division. I wasn’t able to do a preview podcast for the series, but I hope to do so...
