Did you know that within you is the most powerful force that has ever existed? The challenge is that we have forgotten who we really are. My mission is to awaken you to understand that what you believe on a subconscious level creates everything in your life in the world. Energy, thoughts, feelings, patterns, all of it is created by our beliefs. And our experiences can be positive or negative. Life doesn't just happen to or for you, it happens from you. Join me on the journey to discover what the eternal truth is within you, that sets you free at the deepest level possible. It all starts now.

Hello, and welcome to the truth method. I am Claudette. And this week, we're going to talk about one of my favorite topics. Emotional Mastery. Our soul’s journey into growth and expansion requires understanding. Understanding is a deeper knowing than head knowledge. You know, you can know something in your head, understand a concept in your head, but not get it fully at the depth of your being. When we get understanding, we know it in our soul. And when we start to awaken to the fact that there is more than meets the eye, we start to seek the truth and understanding, not just knowledge.
So today we're going to talk about emotions. It's one of my favorite topics, because I am going to admit to you I was an emotional wreck. Before I begin my journey into truth, I would get upset, be consumed for a week or two, maybe three or four. And then every judgment that I made from that point on, while I was upset was through the lens of whatever emotion was occurring within me, whether it was sadness, rage, anger, I would go into rage and anger so quickly because I was defending myself. And there was a lot of pain within my being that I didn't know what to do with. I did not know how to process it, what to do with it. And it wasn't until I discovered the eternal truth within and really realized that pain could be removed. It's a very sacred journey. And I began to understand that pain was caused by what I believed about something. I used to think that pain was caused by something that happened to me, it goes deeper than that. It is actually caused by what I believe about what happened to me. And as I began to dive deeper into my beliefs, then I went even further and stopped creating the stuff from happening to me that was undesirable.
I'm not going to say that I don't have anything happen to me these days that is undesirable. But let's just say it used to be all the time. And it's a rare occasion. Now, it's because I've been on this path in this journey of really just been brave enough to dive into my soul with truth, and remove the beliefs that were creating the reality that wasn't desirable. So let's go a little further. Emotions are very necessary in our souls journey for evolution, and expansion. Emotions are attached to what is called the five sense consciousness. We're perceiving the outer world through sight, touch, sound, all of our five senses. And when we perceive the outer world, we make judgments based on what is happening from the outer world. And those judgments are based on what we believe. So our beliefs interpret what is happening, you can have one thing happened to one person and they don't take offense to it. It's no big deal. You can have that same thing happened to another person and they are totally offended. Have you ever noticed that that happens? Well, emotions are simply the feedback that shows us what is in our soul, about our beliefs.
It shows us what we believe about what is happening, and how our beliefs will interpret meaning. Emotions are so important for this if we didn't have emotions, we wouldn't have this feedback system. Now everyone in the outer world mirrors to us what we believe about ourselves. I'm going to say that one more time, everyone in the outer world mirrors to us what we believe about ourselves. I've had people act one way to me and then I changed my My beliefs by accessing truth, practicing truth, and then I go in front of that same person. And their actions toward me have improved because my belief about myself improved. I used to test this all the time, especially when I had a lot of beliefs about myself that weren't supportive. But the thing about our emotions isn't until we awaken to what they actually are, we think we are our emotions, we think that we are sadness, or we are anxiety, we adapt these emotions in join them to our identity and who we are, we call them our personality. And that simply isn't so because if it were, we can never shift out of a state of sadness or anger. There are many people who have been sad, including myself for a good majority of our lives. And once we receive the truth, we shift out of it in sadness is very rare for me now. I think in two years, I might have experienced it four or five times. And when I do, it doesn't bother me, I don't sit there and go, Oh, my gosh, I should have grown past this. What's happening? No, I know, if sadness rises up within me, it is feedback for something I believe, about what is occurring. And so what I will do is, I will go into the practice of truth to get what I believe that allows it and what the truth is, right. And so I will move back out of sadness into a state of joy and peace.
Because when we're connected to the divine within, in truth, we're in a higher state of consciousness of joy and peace, and love. But when we have a belief that disconnects us, that's where the suffering comes in. And it's okay that we might be connected one minute, disconnected the next. That's part of the journey of evolving out of the first state of the heart called darkness. And darkness is simply defined as ignorance. It's not, you know, it's not this all consuming power. It is simply ignorance, and us turning our awareness to misconceptions, okay. And so as we're trying to rise out of that, we're rising out of the control that our emotions have over us that we have given them. Because when we believe we are our emotions, we give them power over us. And so this is about emotional mastery. And I want to talk about something called the emotional spin. It's like a trap. I used to encounter something, especially in business, and it would really tick me off.
7:48
I remember, I always wanted to be nice to people. That was my intention. But I had a lot of beliefs that would cause me to be angry, even if it was behind the scenes, I would work really hard to be nice to somebody because I did not want to hurt them. And I didn't want to mess up a negotiation. But I remember hanging up the phone and slamming my hand down on the desk multiple times. My energy was so intense, I had an assistant one time that used to be a friend, she literally quit, she was like your energy is just too much. Well, it was the energy of rage and anger because I had been hurt. Raging anger would then turn to a deep sadness within my being. And I would condemn myself and beat myself up for losing my temper. That is part of the trap of the ego. So it's our job to seek truth to rise out of that trap. The emotional spin puts us in a state of a brain wavelength called beta. When we're in that brain wavelength, we cannot connect to the divine within. We do not receive intuition, inspiration, none of the good things, we just don't receive them. It's our job to get really curious about what we're experiencing in the emotion and start to go deep through the energy of the emotion to the root of the belief.
Once we start to practice, we can begin to unwind from the control of the emotional span. Because when we're in the emotional span, we're outta control we are just spending into whatever emotion that is whether it's rage, anger, sadness, anxiety. I have many friends that used to be in anxiety before Truth. And they would tell me, it's just who I am. I remember one friend I spoke with him for two or three years before they were willing to even go into one true session. And then they began to see she began to see that anxiety wasn't who she was, and that there was hope. Universal Law practiced universal law as one with truth in she moved out of anxiety, it no longer controlled her, she withdrew her awareness from it. And this is a spiritual practice. This is not therapy. This is not psychotic in psychiatry. If you are going to a doctor, continue to go to a doctor, please, we would never tell you to stop doing anything that you're doing as prescribed by a doctor. But this is the spiritual practice of cleansing the soul. And another misconception is, we will start to walk the spiritual path and go. I'm not going to judge anything as good or bad. But there's a very ancient teaching that involves the tree of good and evil. And it's imperative that we understand the depth of that teaching. To understand that misconceptions are what are called evil.
Good is everything that comes from the one power that is expansive, unlimited, loving, powerful, beautiful joy, all the good stuff. Evil is everything that is opposite of that. So that is the duality of our existence here on Earth. And it's our job to begin to determine what we turn our awareness to? Do we turn our awareness to all of the things that are opposite of good and have faith in the power of those things to consume us. Or do we begin the practice of turning our awareness to good knowing that it is the ultimate power, and it always wins? But that our soul is rising in consciousness coming out of that first state of the heart called darkness, an undesirable emotion would be something that drains your energy constricts you limit two, have you ever had an inspiration like a thought that inspires you, and it rises up within you, and you're super excited about it. And then it's almost as if an hour or two later, maybe a day or two later, someone has just burst the balloon and just popped it in? All the air just comes out of it? And then you feel like yeah, I probably can't do that. Anyway, that's what I'm talking about. That would be a belief that causes us to constrict and maybe feel sad, or like we're a failure that we can accomplish something. Every emotion is belief faced, we aren't sadness or confusion, or desperation or failure, anxiety, worry, anger, rage, or any other emotion that will constrict our energy, we are not that.
12:45
We were made to be the opposite of that. But in order to individualize from Universal Spirit, as a fractal, as a piece of Universal Spirit, we have to go through all of the opposite emotions of what is good, and what is God to actually individualize, and then choose to turn back to good. So if that's happening to you, you're right on track. There's nothing wrong with you. You are rising in consciousness out of the darkness of the ignorance we all are. So let's just remember, emotions are feedback. And there's something called the power of the pause. When I was first coming out of this, I was married at the time, my former husband used to trigger the crap out of me, I would get so disappointed in myself because I actually really loved and cared for him. I didn't want to hurt him. I had a daughter, I didn't want her to see the drama. I was like, why can I get a grip on this, I would become so angry and just scream and lash out in my energy. And I remember he then said one time your energy is just overbearing, and it's because I had such rage and anger covering pain. rage and anger are usually covering an insecurity, a pain, a belief that causes that person to think they are less than not enough, not worthy. And we all have those beliefs. They seem to be some of the most common ones, and so will act out in anger to defend ourselves when anger isn't actually a defense. It is a burst of energy that drains our lifeforce and doesn't really solve the problem. You know, you could say, well, I'm physically being attacked, anger took care of it. Okay, we're not talking about that. We're talking about emotional anger in a normal situation. And so usually it will drain and it will start to undermine any relationship that you have. That's why I began to notice I don't desire to hurt people.
So why am I doing this? And I started to go after the belief. The first thing I asked Truth to help me with, is to pause before going into the emotional span. Because in that span, we lose all of the eloquence of our being, we go into that emotion, and we have no control over anything. When we train ourselves to pause and access truth, first, we begin to step into the power of our real identity, our birthright as children of the Creator, it's going to take some time, it doesn't happen right away. But with practice, we become stronger, more confident in who we really are. And we step out of the emotional spin. So I'm going to give you three different short spiritual treatments today, that you can use to begin to practice to pull out of the awareness of your emotion into truth, and have a full understanding of what that emotion is showing you how to go through that emotion to the belief. So we're going to start by impressing upon your subconscious, how to just stop and go into the power of the pause. The first one is you can say to yourself, I seek truth, before I allow my emotions to consume me.
Once again, I seek truth, before I allow my emotions to consume me. Secondly, you can say, my emotions or feedback to the beliefs within my soul. My emotions are feedback to the beliefs within my soul. Thirdly, my emotions tell me if I'm seeing through the eyes of the ego, or truth, my emotions tell me if I am seeing through the eyes of the ego, or the truth. Now, don't let your ego tell you, hey, what's plotted is saying his emotions are bad, you can't be emotional, do not even go there. So there's some important things to remember, we do not ignore our emotions. I have said this to my daughter, she has watched me grow in the practice of truth. I started with her when she was two, she has seen the arguments with her father, she's seen it all, raw and real. There was nothing that I hid from her, she'd tell me, Oh, you're just in your emotion, you need to go to truth. And I'll say, I know. But I'm going to be real with where I'm at and use that as a pathway to get to the belief. So we do not ignore our emotions, we don't push them aside, we don't try to control them.
We pause them. We fill them fully for a minute. And then we can almost freeze them. And in that moment, we begin to go, what do I believe that is allowing this? You could look at this from a third dimensional sense of consciousness and go what happened to me. So it's natural for me to feel this way. Or you can go to the deeper thing in fourth dimension, and say, “What do I believe that is allowing me to feel this way?'' Because as we begin to get truth, we do what is called walking on water. It's the mystery of walking on water. And what that means is we walk over the drama, being very aware of it, but it doesn't penetrate our heart and consume us. But we can only do that by fully feeling it going into the belief and getting the truth. That's how we begin to do that. And it's a journey of our soul's expansion. You are not your emotions. The state of truth is peace of love, joy, power, clarity and freedom. Removing the energy of an emotion doesn't fix the problem. Remember, the emotion originates from the belief. It will come back when that belief is triggered.
That's why emotions will come back. People that are even spiritual teachers will come to me and go, I'm almost embarrassed. I've been doing this spiritual practice for 25 years. I can't believe I'm feeling this way. And I go with us because we didn't get to the root belief in the spiritual practice that you were doing. When you add truth to anything, it becomes powerful. emotions happen when the file of the belief is open in your soul. They fade away when it is close. This is just how it works. Use the emotion to ask what you believe about it and what the truth is. And the truth is the way to master your emotions and rise in your state of consciousness. Emotions are attached to the five sense consciousness and allow you to experience third dimensional reality choice in the duality. We are one as a whole connected to Universal Spirit yet we are individualized in our personality. That is the duality.
So once again I will give you the three mini spiritual treatments that you can say to yourself to gain clarity over your emotions and start to seek truth on them instead of going into that emotional spin. This is one of the first steps to mastery. The first one is I pause to seek truth at first, my emotions no longer consume me. Once again, I pause to seek truth first, my emotions no longer consume me. Secondly, my emotions are feedback to the beliefs and my soul. My emotions are feedback to the beliefs in my soul. This will bring your awareness to truth versus emotion. Thirdly, my emotions tell me if I'm seeing through the eyes of the ego or truth. My emotions tell me if I'm seeing through the eyes of the ego or truth. You've got this, the eternal truth is within you and promises to never leave you nor forsake you. It is the divine power of infinite intelligence in Universal Spirit residing in you communicating through the pure form of the eternal truth. You can do this, and I've got your back too. I love you. Less jump out of the emotional spin into the mastery and magnificence of who we really are. Have a beautiful week.
