Episode description

Out of the millions of women around the world who are prescribed birth control every year, how many are told about the serious long term risks associated with taking birth control?

Taking birth control can lead to imbalance hormones, increased inflammation, destroy the gut, and even increase the chance of strokes and heart conditions. They can also cause long term fertility issues.

So, taking birth control for any other reason than contraceptive reasons is never the right move in my opinion. You’re far better off finding the root cause of the hormonal imbalance issues and fixing those properly rather than slapping a bandaid on it.

With regards to contraception, there’s also better options that aren’t as big a danger to your health. So it’s really hard to find any reason why taking the birth control pill has more benefits than risks!
