Loud Thoughts EP #8 - Valued Attention

Some people might consider humans inherently valuable, but what designates value? We know gold and platinum are coveted and revered due to rarity but what else gives something value?

I would argue that the contribution of any person or thing makes it useful and when we look at contribution on a large enough scale we see that humans just aren't up to the task of saving themselves much less turning off Netflix to develop a real skill or hobby.
