We are edging towards the conclusion of the Thriller multi episode arc right now - an arc that has seen multiple rapes, three horrific murders, the largest investigation of it's kind for years, groundbreaking investigative tools - and finally, we have seen Shorter - John Francis Duffy - brought to justice.
