Y'all rippedum need advice, so you don't have come running. Just as fast as we can, Shooter's gonna help. Come Man Dix is the Troubleshooter Show. Now Tom Martino, Hi, Tom Martino here, Welcome to the show. Three oh three seven one three talk three oh three seven one three eight two five five. Welcome everyone far and wide coming to the show for help, information referrals. I have Jay Bretz with me from Excel Roofing and we like to talk about a lot of things. There is a new technology out

I suspect someday this technology will take over for most places. I don't think anyone would. I mean, right now, hands off Estimate for roofing, and he says, in the future, who knows what it will be applied to? Jay, Now, there's nothing new about some apps that give you roof square footages, right that that's not new. So tell me what's new about the technology you're talking about, hands off Estimating. What is it? Well, we have on our website it looks like a Google view of a

satellite view of the roof and what it does. But you put your address in, you put your your address in yep, Okay, and then and then you have to tell the program my roof is low pitch, medium pitch or steep. And how do you know? Basically anybody can take a look at their roof and tell you yes, I could walk on this or not, and that that's kind of the standard flat, medium or steep. Yes, I call it low not flat, then well, low medium, steep. You put in your address and you come on here, so where is

it? Keep scrolling down a little bit, and then there is what will my roof cost? Okay, I'm going to put my address in. Put your address in, and then you take a look at the satellite view that's showing of your roof, and you'll see that the program draws. Okay, I got my roof. Now, oh it's perfect drawing. Is that drawing really perfect? Or yeah, it's perfect. The corners don't need to be

pulled out. Now it's perfect. Well, well you see, well, hold on, so grab so you can grab the device and you can. It's pretty perfect. Okay, scroll down just a little bit and tell the tell the program if my roof is a low pitch, medium pitch or steep pitch and it picked one for me, didn't it? It does it picks the medium. Okay, go ahead, and then and then see my price? See my price? How does it know what kind of roof I have? It's going to give you some options. Okay, see my price.

So now we're going to ask for just a little bit more information to make sure you're not my competition. Okay. And meanwhile, I'm going to be doing this and then I'm going to take a phone call. Here we got links links. What's going on with you? Bro? What's happening? I'm looking to install a bathroom in my basement. By the way, that's a cool name. Is that Is that a given name at birth? No, it's a nickname. Okay, I thought so, but but that would be

a cool parent links. That is a cool name. Yeah. Anyway, go ahead, links. What's what's going on? What are you wondering about? Well, I'm wanting to put a bathroom in my basement, and okay, I'm talking to a different people contractors that's on your referral list. Yeah. They told me the first to do is get a plumbing contractor to come in there. And it has to be pumped up to go into my septic system. And so I need somebody to come in and do the cut the

concrete, put the plumbing in the ground. And well, I'm not sure if I totally agree with that, because a plumber, yes, you do need it, what's called ground plumbing. Ground plumbing brings or plumbing to where you want the bathroom. But it really doesn't that the ground plumber should not be the one to decide where the toilet goes and where the shower goes. Is this going to be a toilet and shower? Yeah? Oh yeah, my I'm fishing to move my mother in lawience, she's okay, okay.

Normally, normally this is what happens. You get some kind of a designer to help you, or somebody who can come up with a plan and a contractor should help you do that. In fact, I'm a little upset that somebody on my list would say, go get a plumber first. I mean, where the hell a plumber is not going to tell you where to put stuff it did? Did they already come out and look at it and make

a drawing or did they just say get a plumber first. Yeah, no, I've got I've got the you know, drawings and everything that well I've made. Okay, that's right, Yes, so that's what you do first the ground plumbing. Yes, that so so, Yes, that is true. You you have the drawings, now you know where stuff is going to be. The plumber can take those drawings and place where you need the drops

for the drains. That's what they put in first. Okay. Now did you say it's going to have to come up and out with a pump to get to your step to your a sewer. Yeah. What they do in a basement in a situation like this, they have all the drains go to a tank and then you put a mace rating pump in there. Okay, why is that? Why is that normally? Is it? Is it way below grade? Is that what it is? Yes? Okay, that's okay, fine, so so far, so good. You're getting good advice.

Now what you want to know who to call? Yes, that is correct. Okay, We're going to try a couple of people and figure this out because this is not normal service plumbing. Tom, I mean, I want

to chime in on this one when you have time. This exact situation in my house, go ahead, where the septic is all gravity fed off of the top level, but the lower level there is a sump pump and all of the black water has to go into this pit like the like the callers describing, and then a pump brings it up from the lower level to the upper level so it can get into the septic system. But what I discovered the hard way is you have to make sure that nobody puts anything in that

toilet except for toilet paper. If they put in like baby wipes or anything like that, it will clog the pump. So one of my recommendations to the caller is that you get a pump with a grinder in it, and the grinders somebody, but yes, similar to that garbage. By the way, let's bring up. Let's bring up is what you call it? There?

Right now? Mark Schimanski for his commercial? Is Mark there? I want to ask kim because and for sure, there should be a backup power supply for that pump, because if the power ever goes down then somebody flushes the toilet or something, it will cause the reservoir, It will cause that that pit to overflow. Are you there, Mark? Getting them right now? Oh you don't have them up yet? Okay, yeah, get him on right now, and then I'll ask him a question as well. And

the other thing that I did online? Tom is I made sure I put some electronic water sensors on top of it because it did overflow one time. Oh my god, that would be terrible. It's horrible. It's this blackbo links. What is your main question? Oh, I just need to know who to call. Okay, just look at first, here's what I want And Deputy Doc is he in the studio? I think he is? Is he in the studio? Tom? Hey? Doc? Call plumb line fix it? Eight eight eight eight heating euro plumbing. Just get see if they

do what's called ground plumbing. So they have to go through the concrete, They have to go into where the bathroom's going to be, and you may need another contractor to come back and fix the concrete. Mark Schumansky is here from Genesis Total Exteriors to do a commercial. And before we get to that, let me just ask him, Mark, have you installed bathrooms and basements

that had to have this done? We're doing too now, I've never had We've done it in other commercial buildings, not in a residential Okay, so where it has to go to a collection tank and then be pumped to Okay, now, and just like Jay was talking, you know, you get one that choose it up first, and yep, you don't worry about such things a macerator pump or maceration pump. Those maserrators to them, you can't.

I can't overemphasize how important they are because well, yeah, otherwise if somebody put because they sell all sorts of pumps and the cheap pumps don't have that amount. No, no, no, that it's a grinder. I mean it'll grind. It's like a garbage's base. Yeah, you need to have it so if somebody throws like a wash off in there, that it has the ability to grind up that washcloth. Otherwise it will it will. But still with that mass raider, you still don't want a lot of stuff

going into that toilet. But you can use normal toilet paper. Did they tell you you couldn't use normal toilet paper? Links? Links? You can use normal stuff. You just can't, you know, it's just you just use your common sense. Well I'm gonna I had mine got doogged because people were putting baby wipes in it. No, not baby wipes, but normal toilet Ye, So you have to you have to let you have is the way you have to do is you have to take care of it, okay.

In other words, you treat it with care, But that doesn't mean you can't use it as a toilet as a toilet is intended to use be used. But it's amazing what people do with a toilet. Links are you? Are you still there? We're going to find out who you call. We're making some calls for you. Mark, when you have done this kind of thing. Regular service plumbers don't necessarily do uh. And you can call Howie too. I know how he's listening probably at uh yeah, at he's

he's really good and we can call him at Quality First Plumbing. Just find out. But Mark, have you found Normal service plumbers don't normally do that? Right? Well? Again, my plumber does because we we've done it before, and you know this is my only thing. Yeah, but your plumber is for new construction. It's not a normal service plumber. Is it correct? It's it's not. It's not a repair he does. My plumber does no repair work. He only does new construction or remodel with him,

exactly. So, Links, did you pick a contractor yet for your bathroom? No? Not yet? I okay, all right, Well I'll tell you what if you want to listen or hang on, we will get you some recommendations on and and it's commonly called ground plumbing. Mark is that real or rough in? Ground plumbing for a bathroom? Well rough in? And yeah, rough in and then yeah, I'm imagine we have to cut the concrete, you know, put the drains need to be go through inspection and

backfill the concrete. Yeah. So it's uh, and and will the plumbers do will the will the plumbers do that? The concrete work too? Yeah, my plumber does my concrete work for me. It's just easier because then he cuts it where he was exactly. Then he lays the pike, goes through inspection, and he pours back the concrete for me. And okay, good, thank you, And uh, we have more coming up. I'm Tom Martino three oh three seven one three talks seven one three, eight two

Hi Tom Martino, you're troubleshooter three O three seven one three talks seven one three eight two five five h Jay Brett is with him from Excel Roofing. He brought the real boss of the place, Charlie, his Corgie, and

Charlie did not like the treats I bought him. You know, I knew someday, Charlie we'd be back, because he comes to visit every now and then and he's right. I'm gonna I'm gonna get his picture right there. Hold on, there he is. He's on camera for all the YouTube audience and my oh, not just my YouTube morons, but now my Facebook funkies. I gave them a nickname. There's Charlie. He's a little bored. He might be bored. I don't know. This is this show doesn't appeal

to dogs. Let's talk to where where we have some calls. We're gonna take Wilmer. Wilmer, go ahead, what's going on? Hi? I'm with Smith Plumbing and Heating and speaking about that guy with the bathroom in the basement and having to get up grinder pump and get that out. I've done plenty of those, and so have we here. So I'm more than a welcome. We are starting to serve Denver. Now, okay, so Smith Plumbing and Heating, and you do ground plumbing and rough in plumbing right through

the concrete. You can do that holding tank and the maceration pump and all of that. Yes, I've done plenty of Matter of fact, a couple of months ago, I've done wanting this guy I want one in his garage and anyways, yeah, same things gotta get it. Uh Links, Where are you located? Tom? What's the ballpark price for one of these? I don't know. I'm going to find out links. Where are you located? Links? I don't know where the hell he is, but anyway,

I'm not going to wait for him. So Wilmer, I'm going to give out Smith's information. They're in Colorado Springs, but he says they're coming up north down and he does a lot of that work. The website is Smith Pink Trucks dot com. Smith Pink Trucks dot com. Seven one nine okay for Wilmer the plumber, Wilmer at Smith. He's familiar with this kind of plumbing. Seven one nine three for nine Deputy Doc. Did you call any of our others? Yeah, I got a touch with plumb Line they do

it, and I'm waiting Plumbline Services dot com. Who else? And I'm waiting for a callback from eight eight eight okay? Eight eight eight Heating, which also, of course eight eight eight Heating does plumbing and electric now as well as their high efficiency furnace replacements. They're really trying to get into that high efficiency stuff for people saving money, not just on the installation but uh yeah, so eight let me give you eight eight eight. Heating's number is

three oh three seven seven zero two seven seven six. Plumb line services three oh three, five eight six ten eighty six. Smith, as we said before, is seven one nine nine two forty two sixty nine, and fix it twenty four to seven. I'm pretty sure we'll do that, but we'll figure it out. They're at seven two zero five two six thirty nine. Jay, Speaking of energy efficiency, you were a real bugaboo when it came to the efficiency of a roof. Are you still doing that? Absolutely?

Yeah. It's not just the roof covering. It is the system. And the system means the roof covering, the attic ventilation and also the attic insulation, and we can throw solar on top of that also. And I don't want to confuse that with a whole house fan. That's a totally different ballgame, so different. A whole house fan is for the house, it's not for the attic. It pulls air out of the ceiling and it can either push it into the attic or straight out. But that attic ventilation is we're

going to just ventilate that attic space in the attic space. Now, you can do both, but you could. But what we're talking about now, specifically, you must have air moving through the attic at the proper time in place, meaning the events have to be placed properly in all of that for it to have a good convection system. It keeps it cooler and warmer depending on the season. I know it sounds weird, but it does now. Links. I don't know if you've heard all that advice we gave you,

but we have some pretty damn good companies that do that. Okay, Yeah, that sounds like a pretty good selection there that a couple of those outfits. I'll be giving them a call today. Yeah, and let us know how it goes. And if you pick a contractor to do it, make sure you pick somebody seriously. We take that very seriously. On our list. There are a lot of contractors out there, both good and bad. Not on the list, of course, but you know it's a gamble right

now, especially if people want big money up front. I wouldn't do it. Don't do it. Oh, you don't do it, darrylne dearyline, what's going on with you? Darylne? I got a problem. So I'm going to kind of keep this short. The company I was working for we were bought out, and so there were several of us laid off. And what happened was my four o one chase got transferred to a scamming outfit. Wait a minute, was it was it transferred as part of this sale or

was it transferred way before this sale? Probably I would say after Well, okay, so you had a four oh one K and it was with a trustee and you were getting statements and it was a normal four on one K. Then what happened. I actually did not get a statement from the company. It was I had it in Fidelity, and I don't know why I cannot transferred out of Fidelity. Okay you okay, So with the old company you were with Fidelity? How much was in your four oh one K?

Just about a little over seven because I started tell okay seven thousand, yes, okay, okay, And it was for Fidelity. And then what happened somehow the company was bought out by another so they transferred it over to a company of trust fund called Millennium Trust Company. Yeah, out of Chicago, and they're they're a scam. I can't get in there to get my into the account. I can't call them. I see they got tons of bad reviews. I'm better business bureaus. So that raises who transferred it? Though?

That's what I want to know, who transferred it? I want to see grimco company that did because company? Yes? Okay, so Millennium was it Millennium Bank? What was it? Millennium? What? It's a financial bank that keeps people for one case? Yeah? Okay, So they're a scam. Okay, well that's a big word. I mean, if if you're you're telling me they're absolutely a scam. In other words, they take

money. Because let me just say something. I know, we know there are a lot of ripoffs out there, but I want to tell you that when it comes to finance, okay, there are a lot of regulations and if this place was a full scam just stealing people's money, they'd be shut down pretty quickly. So what I'd like to know is what do you mean scam or poor service? Poor service is probably a better word, because I

cannot Why wouldn't they talk to me on the phone? I can't. Well, a lot of companies are going that way unfortunately, So I just need to know, do you have their website. I yes, I do, and I have their number. Okay, I want you to give that to us off the air. And your main complaint is that they are basically giving you no information. You've got no information at all, right, and I can't log into my account? Now? Did you get an email telling you you could log in? No? I I copied the code and open up

their browsers. Okay, wait, what code are you talking about? That's what I'm talking about, DARRYLND. What code. It's a QR code that came with the paperwork in the mail. Okay, so you were contacted saying you can log on. Okay, I thought you meant the paipdwork from the company, but this was a paperwork from them. Sorry, my mistake. The paperwork you got with the QR code, who did it come from? Yes, a Millennium Trust company. And Millennium Trust Company said hey, Darylyn,

we now have your account and here's how you log in. Yes, And then you could not log in, and then you tried to make a phone call. Yes, And when you made the phone call, what happened? They basically try to run me through my account and then he hung up on me, and I can call back. Now I can't get through. Okay, So you assume then it's a complete scam. Yeah, because I started reading the reviews on it and looked into them, and I'm just I'm

sketching. You know, Millennium Trust is also Millennium Trust has an office in Denver. I don't know if that's the one you called it, Millennium Trust Company. Can you give us a copy, please, of whatever you got in the mail from them? Yes, I can. All right, that's what we need and we'll look into it. Okay, but but I would hesitate. I'm not saying scams don't exist, but trust me when I say this. When it comes to four one ks iras self directed trust, self

directed investment, I mean, it's a pretty good system for regulation. I mean there are all kinds of government agencies, and if this place truly just took retirement accounts and stole them, they'd be around for five minutes. So I don't think that's what's happening. I think you're just getting frustrated and upset, and I don't blame you. So let's see if we can cut through the red tape for you. But before we do anything, you need to

get us that letter. You got the initial letter, and let's look at it. Three oh three seven one three Talk three oh three seven one three eight two five five. Compass Insurance Group still doing insurance checkups to make sure you have the right insurance, not over insured. And that's three oh three nine nine six nine thousand. Hey Tom Martine, your troubleshooter. Three o three seven one three talks seven one three eight two five

to five. My my show is putting the official dog of Excel Roofing to sleep next to Jay over there. I'm gonna wake him up. No, don't wake him up. Come sit next. He's a good dog. But you know, I bought treats for the damn dog and he's too fussy. I said, I have some treats for the dog and Jay says, is a jerky? No, it's a biscuit. He says, no, my dog doesn't eat biscuits. He prefers jerky anyway, So what does he think he's the queen's dog or what he thinks he is the king? There's no

doubt about that. I love Corgi's anyway, Brad O'Brien, he's a real estate attorney. Hate Brad. I want to know some one of my YouTube morons says that his parents or her parents, whatever I think is he they had They have a rental and it's month to month for the last three years or more. What is the notice required? I said, I thought it was twenty one days? Does the notice change with how long they've been there? Brad brado'brienolslaw dot com. By the way, that's O'Brien Legal Services,

real estate law. Go ahead, Brad well Tom. The minimum notice on a month to month Tennessee is twenty one days advanced notice before the end of the rental month, unless the least a much longer time Okay, So whether they're there two years or five years, if it's month to month, twenty one days is the amount of time, unless the lease says more. In other words, if the original lease had a provision for thirty days or sixty days, and then it reverts month to month, doesn't it still carry with

it the basic terms of the original lease. Well, that depends enough if the original written lease still applies. Some leases do say that this lease shall convert to a month to month if the tenant holds over. But it's also possible that the original lease kind of goes away if it didn't provide for that. And okay, so it has to be mentioned in the lease that it reverts to month to month, otherwise it's a normal month to month. Well, no, I don't want to say have to. I mean, you

have to look at the circumstances of each case. But if the lease happens to helpfully say that this lease will apply in a holdover situation, then you can be pretty confident that you can go back and look at their written lease for provisions other than the I get what you're saying, but the normal would be twenty one days unless altered by some kind of written agreement right, And sometimes people call me, see I've been a tenant for five years or ten

years. That just doesn't really change the fact that it's the same rule as if you've only been there for one year. Okay, Now I have an attorney joke because when you ask, Brad's pretty good at giving us straight answers, but he always has he always has to caution, well, it depends on this, this, this, this, this, this, and it does it does depend on this, this, this, this this. You know, you ask an accountant how much is too and two? They say

four. You ask an attorney how much is two and two? They pull the shades down and say, what do you want it to be? Now, Brad, here's another one? Okay? Basically, uh, if you if you uh have a month to month okay, And there is like they're destroying the property or something like that. We've had a lot of inquiries like that. What happens if people are doing destruction? Is there any kind of an emergency eviction or anything like that or are you just stuck with it?

Oh? No, there's a special statute that gives you a much quicker time. I believe it's three days for a substantial violation okay, which could be harming, causing injury, or causing property damage to the property itself. Okay. And I want to ask one quick question. Are there still complications going on as a result of COVID or has that been all fleshed out as far as any evictions, back rents and all of that. Do you know?

Are you hearing anything? Well? Yes, there's one limited thing, which is if the landlord took government assistance money for COVID, then in that case the tenant gets longer periods notice periods. So, my son was diagnosed with autism when he was four, and we got services when he was younger, but then they cut him off after he was six. And he's twenty now. And wait a minute, wait a minute, back when he was six, why did they cut him off? Well, this was in let's see, this was in two thousand and I

want to say nine. And you know there was not medicaidor Obamacare that were waivers this time, but there was, like wait, when he was diagnosed many years ago. How old was he four? He was four? Okay? And how severely autistic? I don't know if severely he's a good word for it. But how far on the spectrum is he? He's moderate, he's moderately affected. He you know, he's verbal now he wasn't when he was diagnosed, but you know, and we did get help in the way

of schooling. Okay, So what's your question now that he's twenty, So we've been trying to get services for him for over a year. They've told me that I need to get a updated diagnosis, and I've been trying to find well what kind of services ended and when did they end? They ended when he was six? But why did you wait? That's what I'm getting at. So you're trying to get services now and they ended fourteen years ago.

Well, see, so he was in schooling and all that, he was having services to that and we paid for it on our own because it's the waiver never went through. So we paid for like ABA and therapy on our own. And now are you finding it difficult to get services? Yes? Okay? Did he as a twenty year old with autism? Is he considered disabled? Yes? Completely unable to work? Yes, basically we've We've I've worked with him like we'll do. Uh, this was when my husband

and I were together before. But I've tried to get jobs with him, easier jobs, and it's so difficult for him. He's not able to do it on his own. Okay, So what did they give him? Okay? Does he have like a treatment? Does he have a doctor? He does, and they I've asked him does he have insurance? Does he have insurance, Medicaid okay, does he have Does he have Medicare or Social Security disability? No? And we haven't been able to get that because we need

an updated diagnosis and I cannot find a psychiatrist who will do that. They all see children only. Oh come on, you're telling me there's nowhere to go for an adult with autism, not that we've found. Ripped of news needed, that's who you don't have? Come run in just as fast as we can. Shooter's gonna help. Come Dix is the Troubleshooter Show.

No Tom Martino, Hi Tom Martino here, welcome to the show. Three oh three seven one three talk three oh three seven one three eight two five five. I want to remind you you can also call while we're on the air. Three oh three Martino, three oh three six eight four sixty six. So three or three Martino. Now that's good, twenty four to seven. So have you call later tonight, or if you tell a friend to call and they call the afternoon when we're off the air, they leave a

name and number, we will get back to them. That's a guarantee. So we have Jay Brettes with us from Excel Roofing today. We're talking about all kinds of stuff. One of the things we're talking about, how do you get an adult diagnosed or updated diagnosis for autism? And Carol says she's having a difficult time. Now. I don't know how personal I want to get here, but I know an adult who was diagnosed later in life and mild, really mild. So shut up all of you. And are you

talking about Elon Musk. I don't know about him. I didn't know. Well, he's mild on the spectrum. Well I'm talking about Tom Martine and I can tell you there are places that do that as an adult. Okay, Now I don't know about an adult my age, but let's say thirty five, thirty six years ago, so your son is in his twenties. Now I can only give this recommendation, and I'm not sure what they do now, but the Anshoots Medical Campus has a department of psychiatry and they're very,

very good with that kind of thing. Have you have her checked with them? No? I haven't. Why don't you try? Now? Have you tried Denver Health? Denver Health is well respected. Did you try? Since he's on Medicaid, yes, that's where he was seeing his therapist before. Now he's on he's got access where he can go to any provider. But prior to that, he was on Denver Houthon. Yes. I tried to get services through them and just never got a return phone hall the same

thing. We don't have psychiatrists. I mean they've been telling me this for months now. They don't have a psychiatrist to diagnose an adult, and I don't understand that at all. I know they do, but again, this was many years ago. But I know that there are people that when they were younger, did not get diagnosed because they were so mild or something or they called it something else that are now being updated. And I know it's been well, I know it. Let's say, I know it was being

done many years ago. But I still think that there would be a psychiatrist for God's sakes that I mean, have you looked have you called autistic support groups, autism family groups and stuff? I haven't tried that. I've just I tried the Rocky Mountain Health Center, like I said, because that's who I would need to go to in Denver to get help for him now. So no, I haven't tried going through uh, you know, like any of the autism group. I mean, those groups are very active and I

am almost positive they're probably going to help. There's the Autism Society of Colorado. There's the Autism Speaks, UH that's a guide. There's a develop Developmental Disabilities Resource Center. And then there's the Denver Autism Community Network. That's an organization that offers supports for all kinds of stuff for individuals and families. I really believe that you got discouraged, probably and I don't blame you, but we can. I think I think I would start with the Denver Autism Community

Network. I don't have a number for them, and then the Autism Society of Colorado. Let's face it, if they don't know, no one does, true. I mean, so I would start with Denver Autism Society and well or the Society of Colorado, either one. But I would try googling that I have these. I don't have numbers for them right now, but I have them in my list. Let me see if it comes up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the Autism I got the number for you.

The Autism Society of Colorado ready, seven to zero two one four zero seven, nine to four. That's one. And then the Denver Autism Community Network. You know, I want to tell you something about autism that I never knew until many years ago, and that is most people with mild autistic tendencies or on the lower part of the scale are not diagnosed by the way. Just you know, now, your son seems to be more than that, right, I mean, he's literally like, if I met your son,

would I say there's something off about him? You would? Okay, say that most people that are slightly on the spectrum or whatever the word is nowadays, they don't necessarily like Elon Musk, for example, you might think there's something a little off about him, but you don't know what it is. But it's not really off, you know what I mean, He's just I don't know. He can be mistaken, So go ahead, Jay Jay. I walked out of the room and called a very good friend of mine that's

been dealing with for the last twenty years. And he's autistic. Yes, her son is autistic. Her son, she did not want to go on air, right, but I mean, she's an absolute expert at this, and she told me Rocky Mountain Human Services. That's that's where this lady needs to call. Rocky Mountain Human Services. Rocky Mountain Human Services. Okay, have you heard of them? That's where I've been trying to call. That's where I've been trying to get well. When you say trying to call,

what happens when you call? Well, I tried to go down there and walk in and they don't accept walking. So if you call this number, they have such a high volume of calls that, oh, you can leave a message and they never return the message. And hystericis too bad mess well for sure. So this friend of mine told me what you're describing is correct, and it is a challenge. To get through, you have to be persistent. Well, try those other numbers I gave you too. Yeah that

now is human services not just for autism? What is it for? I'm not positive for everything. I went to the website here it's r m ah well RM and then human services dot org and it says a case management place and let's see about us our mission. Let's see it says that to re embrace the power of the community to support individuals creating their I mean, it really doesn't say much. I mean, honest to God, that's what it

says for families in creating their future. Our services okay, services for adults, case management whatever that is. And it looks like from the photos is for people with developmental disabilities. One of the things that they're highlighting about bringing how our MHS supports students in bridging school and adulthood. And I know that this is what my really good friends. Yeah, but she has an adult,

she has a forty year old son. Yeah, so it's this is not just a transition, but it's how do you care for autistic people in adulthood? Yeah? It she needs a diagnosis in order to become one of those people they help. So I, like I said, I would try those societies I gave you because they're specifically for autism. I'm sure they've had

encountered this before. Meanwhile, what we're gonna do, I'd like to take your number because after this airs, a lot of people call us or email us and they say, you know what, this has happened to me, or this has happened to uh you know, or we here, here's where you call. So that's what I would like to do. I would like to take your number in case people contact us after seeing the podcast or or

the stream or whatever, and then we'll get you some more information. Meanwhile, if anyone listening has information, give us a call at three zero three seven one three talk three oh three seven one three eight two five five Ryan. What is your issue with an apartment? What's happening? Ryan? Yes, so I recently moved in after you helped me deal with that other apartment. I moved into a new apartment in the Rhino District on July tenth of last year. Okay, then, and you moved I went to a brand

new place and that was in July. I got it. So I've gotten to know all the residents here I've gotten to do. We have community gatherings and all this other stuff. Well, anyways, yesterday me and one of my fellow residents that lives here, his name is Mark. He went and we went to the Lakers store. We're going to have a little private gathering in him. And as we came back, there's a gentleman who used to live in our building. I didn't know that he still technically is on the

lease but doesn't live here. Wait wait, wait, wait, technically on the lease. Are you saying he's a roommate? He was. He was a former roommate of yours. I'm not mine. Somebody else that lives in the building. This guy in do you have do you have? Arny mate? I'm just curious, Ryan, do you have a right? I don't got it. So me and Mark were going to get together. We were going to have just me and him. This dude intrude his problems and his

time into our get together inside Mark's apartment. Mark, how did he get How did he get from the street into Mark's apartment? So he was in our building trying to get his stuff from his old apartment. Management was letting him use the phone. He saw us getting ready to go upstairs, get it in the elevator. Yeah, he followed us in the elevator and then he asked if he could join when he got off the same floor as us,

even though he knew nobody on that floor. So you were going to another apartment and this guy followed you in following well not really because Mark's he did, but he didn't because he Mark invited him in once he asked so and that that's his deal, Like if he wants to do that, that's fine, but you know, he kind of interrupted our time. That being said, Mark and him got both pretty drunk last night and I had a couple of drinks but not many. Then we had him. We asked him

like, hey, where do you have to go after this? Do you live here? Do you do you have family to go to? Where do you where do you need us to help you get to? And Mark was willing to help him get uber or whatever that took. So that being said, he kept lading us to saying that he didn't live here, when in reality, he is just trying to get his stuff and he's still on' you know the least. Still that being said, we then walked him downstairs.

After we walked him downstairs, I'm talking to security, telling him what's going on. Because it's a locked building. You know, you can't get in without access unless it's during the day. I told security what's going on. Meanwhile Mark's trying to get him out the door. Mark is walking in front of him when the guy proceeds to go back upstairs. Meanwhile, we don't know that he doesn't live here, or it does or whatever. We didn't know the situation. We just were trying to figure out a situation, a

solution for him to get where he needs to go. I think I know where this is going. One or both of you got in trouble for letting him in or not. We didn't let him in. He was already in the building when we came. So where's this story going though? Mark ended up getting fed up with security and he went and because he's military, and what do you mean set up with security? What was he trying to get

from security? We were trying to get the guy where he needed to go, like rather if it was in his apartment or out of the building, and we didn't care which security wasn't. But let me just ask you something. How did he show up in Mark's apartment and start drinking. I'm a little fuzzy there, brother. How does somebody come in off the street and end up inside the apartment and then you see them drink? How does that? That's a giant leap? We're taken? How did that part happen?

That? I don't know other than the fact that Mark invited him once, he asked to come in. So the guy came, well, okay, then he was invited in. Yeah, okay, okay, but but I mean okay, so so so then Mark got pissed off because why he invited him in. But then the guy wouldn't leave, right, But then it took a turn for the worst. That's correct, though. What did Mark do? Then? Mark then wanted him to leave? So Mark has he has he's military, so he has military weapons in his house. Was this

the same night? Did this all happen in one night? Yes? Okay? God? So Mark then wanted him to leave, okayun and wanted him to leave. I didn't know at the time that Mark had a threat on his life from the guy. Okay, so what did it? Doesn't matter? What did Mark do? He ended up wanting me to go with him to get the guy out of the building. He how did Mark get him out of the building? We didn't, We didn't, okay. He ended up telling me take my handgun in case you need it, and I pushed

it back. I said, Bro, I don't know your guns. I'm not comfortable with this. I don't want to be in this situation. Ryan, you know, I don't are you saying are you saying that Mark handed you a gun? Now? Here's what I want to know, not your feelings. I don't want to know your feelings. I want to know did you take the gun? I didn't physically take the gun, but he put it in my hand. I gave it back to him immediately. Then what

right then and there? Then when I told him I wasn't comfortable, then he made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe because he made me go in there and what are you going? Then? What? He ended up going to the ninth floor where the guy was randomly and trying to find the guy with me with you know, guns in his hand. And what was I said, So hold on, so you accompanied Mark who was walking through the building armed looking for the intruder only because he made me feel uncomfortable? Can I explain

something to you. Your feelings do not matter in the explanation. What matters is the appearance. This is what I'm trying to tell you. Ryan. I know that you probably did not intend to do any harm, and you thought what the hell's going on? And you were kind of an unwitting dupe here. I understand that. Yeah, but to whoever is watching, you look like you ganged up with Mark on this guy. Keep going what happened? Then? So then I get a call from or I get called down

to management this morning. They're saying that I'm being evicted. He's being evicted even though this is my first offense, it's his motive. Well, it's a pretty damn big offense. I think if a pair of guys were walking through the building armed, even if only one of them was armed, I would evict them both to Well, I mean, I'm the victim here because he he made he had me do things I didn't want to do. No, that's not true. No, No, Mark, Mark, Mark,

Mark, that's not going to work. I believe you, but it's not going to work. You went along because of your weak character. You did not have enough balls to say to the guy I'm not going with you. Dude, you if you're going with a gun to look for this guy, I'm out. You could have gone back to your apartment from the gun back. Ryan, I told him I don't feel comfortable with this. You did give him the gun back, but you still followed him when he went with

his guns to find this guy. Let me tell you what would have happened if he killed the guy. You would have been an accessory. Did you know that? Now? I do? Okay? Were you? Were you charged with anything? I hope you weren't charged. In the front police police were called? Who called? Wait? You didn't get to the rest of the story. Here's what I need to know. I need to know this because Ryan, we can get you help or legal advice, okay, but

I need to know the truth. Not your feelings, but what appeared to happen. Did I take the fifteen break or not? Did I not? Okay, I need to do that right now. Please hang on, And you know I just want you to know something. My goal is to help you, but first I gotta get you past your fantasies about well, I didn't mean to and I didn't want to, and I didn't really do it and all of that. Hi, Hey Tom Martinez here at three O three seven

one three talk. I was just on the phone with my wife telling her that Charlie did not like the treat she bought. So he likes jerky treats, I know, because he's he's upscale, you know your chicken breast, Yeah, jerky anyway, So Ryan, listen, man, let's let's talk about this really now. I get it, by the way, and by the way, I do believe Ryan. I've been in situations that were uncomfortable and you figure, how the hell do I get here? Now? I

would hope I have enough sense of a guy arms himself. I would hope I have enough sense to say, hey, dude, I'm not following you man, it's time to go. Yeah. Yeah, soon as the gun comes out, it's time to go. But here's what Ryan said happen and I believe him. Okay, So he and his friend were getting together. Ryan and Mark when he gets together and have a few drinks. Nothing wrong with that. They live in the same building. Meanwhile, this other guy

shows up. Okay, and this other guy used to live in the building. And then he gets talking to Mark and Mark invites him in and they have drinks, right okay, so okay. So then Mark then wants him to leave. But here's what I need to know. I need to fill in some gaps. When Mark wanted him to leave the building, had the guy already left Mark's apartment? He said, Okay, here's what I need to know. Some somewhere along the line, Mark invited him in for drinks,

right yeah, okay. Now after that, did the guy leave on his own or did Mark say get out of here? No? So Mark looked at me and I looked at him, and we kind of mumble under our breast, how are we going to get him out of here? What do we need to do? And what did you do to get him out of there? We just walked him down and then he made it back. Well, did you say to him it's time to go, dude? I did. I told him it was time to go. I said, where

do you have to go? Where? Where can we help you with anything? Like? Can we get you an uber? Can we get you a hotel? Okay? And then what happened? Then? What happened? Huh? He wouldn't tell us anything? And then we walked him downstairs to have security deal with it. And then what Security didn't do anything? And Mark got fed up? And now wait, so hold on, hold on,

hold on. When you said security wouldn't do anything, Mark could have gone back to his apartment and that guy would not have been there, right, correct? Then why did listen? Ryan, don't tell me any more than I'm asking. Then why didn't he go back to his apartment and just sleep it off? Why did he go back to his apartment and feel compelled to have to remove the man from the building. You got just as good question

as I do. Okay, So we can agree, Ryan, We can agree that Mark is a dangerous dude who was drinking and decided he wasn't satisfied getting the guy out of an apartment. He wanted to be mister a cop and get the guy out of the building. So he went back to his apartment. He armed himself and then set out to remove the guy. Now, when he armed himself and set out to remove the guy, what happened then was did he actually remove him or not? No? He did not

the guy. What happened and what happened? I want to know everything. He walks out of his apartment with a couple of guns with you following him, and what did he do? So? Mark and I went up to the ninth floor because he asked me what floor did he go to? He then pressed the elevator floor, blocked the buttons, and then pushed me, not physically, but walked behind me to push me out of the door of

the elevator. When we got up there, we then walked the floor, told me to split up from him to meet him in the middle to see if he was anywhere near walk the floor, and then we went back down to Mark's place since we couldn't find him, and he thought the guy this is how intoxicated he was. Mark had locked his door when he grabbed the guns. He didn't know that he locked the door, so he thought the

guy had barricaded himself in there. He then told me to grab his keys, open the door, but don't turn, like turn the knob, but don't open it so he could breach in and find where the guy was. Wait, wait, open what door? Wait? Somebody else's apartment or where the guy used to know him? What apartments? Huh Mark's apartment, Mark's apartment? Mark thought he was back in his apartment. Yeah, okay, because Mark used his door unlocked. But here's what I want to know.

Did anyone see you guys trapesing around the halls with guns? Yes, three people did, and then they called the cops. Right hold on, I would do the same if I see a couple guys walking around the hallway and one of them is armed, I would call police. So someone called police that right, Yes, and they knew we were residents, but they didn't know what he was up to. Okay, So then when the cops came, is that when Mark got arrested. No, he did not get arrested

at all. He got talked to by the police. We were told to come out of their out of his residence. But Mark has two big dogs, one of which jumps out of airplanes with him, so we had I was trying to help Mark put them away. Meanwhile, he's trying to put his guns away. They showed up not even two minutes after we got back to his apartment and he went inside, so and then we came outside, talked to the police, and then they told us to score our separate ways.

Eagle happened, all right, so good? And then that you know what, this guy is so lucky that he did not get arrested for menacing. So here's what happened. The cops left, and then you guys were evicted. How many days later did they tell you they want you out? This happened last night. So they're just now telling us we have to be evicted. Now did you go talk to them? And by the way, I'm going to tell you what you let me tell you how not to talk

to them. Okay, don't make a million excuses. Here's what you say. Do you want to hear what you say? I, unfortunately was with Mark when he got intoxicated. He grabbed guns to try to remove this guy, and I went along because I wanted to make sure he didn't kill anybody. I would not get into anything else because you sound like an idiot. I'm telling you, Ryan, I'm telling you the truth. Now. Most likely these people will not let you remain there. And you love the place,

don't you? I do, because it's like a five star facility and I love it. How much is rent, so it depends on what kind of unit you have. The range from ranges from eighteen hundred at like five hundred square feet or more, and it goes all way up to four thousand square feet of sixteen thousand a month. My rent is two thousand and sixty five a month for one thousand, fifteen square feet. Did they tell you for sure they want you out? Yes. I went down to management.

The first thing they did was scream at me and tell me get in this office. We need to talk. And what did they say to you when you got in the office. They told me. The first thing they told me after I got in the office, she said, I'm not happy with what happened last night. In fact, I'm pissed my management is pitting my higher ups or pissed, and that they want you evicted. They want you and Mark evicted effective immediately. Now they did you tell them you were not

armed? And you did not? And you what did you tell them? Just tell me what you told them. So I told them that I had pushed the gun away from Mark and that I was unarmed. I did not have the gun at all in my hand except for when he placed in my hand told me to come upstairs with you. Yeah, that was the wrong thing to do. Okay, all right, all right, So I never touched it personally. But that story, you see what I'm saying. Let me tell you how stupid you sound. That mere admission that the gun was

in your hand for a second says I was armed. You don't even have to go there. You never even had to mention that he put it in your hand and you gave it back to him. You simply were not armed. That should have been your story, okay, because the other story sounds like you're an a hole. That's what it sounds like. Like you're a dupe and you're lying. That's what it sounds like. Like you're lying. I can't help you, Ryan, You played stupid and you're paying the price.

I swear to God, I wish I could help you. This is way too much. You already you already went there. Oh, he gave me the gun and I pushed it away and gave it back to him. Yet I still went with him, though unarmed, I still went with him. What was the excuse you gave for accompanying him? Ryan? What excuse did they ask you? Well? Why were you with him? Did they ask you that had you called the cops, as you should have done,

or gone back to your apartment, you probably wouldn't have been implicated. Did they ask you? I was in the process of calling the police when Mark Winning grabs his guns? Who interrupted that problem? Who interrupted the Mark? How did he interrupt you from calling the police? Well? I was on the phone with management of the security company and you walk down his guns. I'm looking like what in the world? Okay, And I didn't even realize I really Ryan? Can you step back enough to you? Can you step

back enough to see how your story sucks? Ken you? I don't know what to say, Ryan, I'm trying to be a friend. I know it doesn't sound like but I am you. You watch the guy? You watch the guy? Okay? Do I have to take another break? Sorry? Man, I'm running way out of time. You watched the guy arm himself drunk and walk through a building, and you went with him. Okay, I'm done, Bye, Go with a sure thing Denver's best rufer Excel Roofing dot com. You don't pay a cent until you're content. Time for

Hi, I'm Tom Martinez, your troubleshooter three oh three seven to one three talk listen.

I don't have a lot of time, but Ryan wants the last words. I'll give it to him and basically, people, AH, if you haven't heard it, you got to go back and listen. But he followed his friend around armed. They were both drinking. This friend was drunk and the cops came. No arrest was made, but they were roaming the halls of the apartment complex armed and Ryan didn't have a gun. Person he said, he's upset, he's being evicted, he's upset with me. Go ahead.

So when I talked to management, management wouldn't let me say anything. They barely let I was just said it, barely let me say anything. They did admit to me that they feel themselves that I didn't do anything wrong, that it's all Mark. But at the same time, their hands are tied. And I agree with all of that. And I don't think you personally meant to do anything wrong either, Ryan, I really mean that.

And this is where it gets confusing. They they said that like I had a gun in my hand, I walked upstairs with the gun, but I'm not seen on footage doing it that I know of. But it wouldn't matter. It wouldn't matter. I know you're hung up on that, but it wouldn't matter if you're with them and have a gun, or with them and don't have a gun. But even then security is defending me, supposedly according to management, saying that I never had the gun in my hand, I

never did anything wrong. In fact, I saw uncomfortable with Mark and that he dragged me into it. They admitted that to me but but no one gets dragged. You didn't have to follow him around, Tom Ratino, he had a gun. But did he say you better come with me or I'm gonna shoot you? What if you just wanted to go home? I did? I did? He had a gun? What was it to doh so hey dog dog Doc? Yeah, he was afraid for his life. He's saying, what do you think about calling the land the management or landlord just

to get their temperature on this. There's no problem with that. If there's any way possible this guy could just maybe be on probation or something there, I'll give a call. Look, by the way, I believe him. I I you know, I really do believe him. I do, don't you? Jay? I mean, I think the guy was an innocent dupe. But I think they're thinking, I don't want someone with that poor judgment living there. It was really bad judgment, and especially when they're drinking GI

But he's feeling afraid. He say, look, the guy at a gun, and he says, come on, let's go get him, and he's following him along. Then I'm gonna come back to the text about Ryan who walked around the hallways with an armed drunk man in his apartment complex looking to kick someone out, and he said he was afraid for his life. That's while he was tagging along. He thought he couldn't get away, and he's ended up getting evicted from a beautiful apartment. So anyway, I want

to go to Marty. Now, Marty has an inquiry on back. I never realized until I had this back surgery how many people suffer from backs, and especially the mid to lower back, and especially oh, both men and women, but people over fifty. You know, it's weird because all back problems, all of them, every single one of them, is because of pinch nerves. Okay, that's what. If your back doesn't have a pinch nerve, you could have a bad back and never feel it. And a

bad back in and of itself will not will not hurt you. It just it might limit your movement. But normally even limitations of movements are only due to the pain it causes. So to be overly simplistic, all back problems are due to pinched nerves. Even if you have a disc, no matter what you have, it doesn't cause a problem until it causes pain. Now I know that's hard to say. I mean, you could have, like I said, a little stiffness, limited movement, But it's the nerve that

drives people crazy. Down the legs or in the buttocks, up the neck, down the arm, whatever, And that's what drives people crazy. So when they say they have a back problem, yeah they do, but it's a nerve problem, that's really what it is. And I just want to say that I almost came close to not having surgery due to stem cell therapy. I was not a believer. I was a believer in stem cell therapy, but not to the degree it helped me. I was absolutely amazed.

But why did I go ahead and have the surgery anyway? Because after the stem cell therapy I got so good and felt so good, but it was still a glaring problem that I knew that at I had the surgery just before my seventieth birthday, and I knew I did not want to face that pain again. At seventy six or seventy seven, the physical ailment did not get corrected by stem cells. Somehow it just shielded the nerves. I but everyone said that problem is still there and it will rear its ugly heads sometime.

So I lived kind of like in fear of it. So I wanted to get it done and get it over with, and I did. And so I had what's called tops TOPS by Premiu Spine, which was the I was one of the first to proved procedures in the country from FDA, and it was it's an implan and when I had it done at the time, it was approved for one level. So what it does, it's really just a fusion without a fusion. What a fusion does, Marty, is it keeps

your back from pinching your nerve. It stiffens it. They fuse two things together with a little cage and therefore you can't move it. So therefore you can't impinge the nerve. What happens with a fusion, however, since seventy five percent of them fail and the other ones don't necessarily fail, but they people are miserable in their limited movement, is they put extra pressure above and below the fusion. Now, when I had my implant done, it connects,

it takes away the pinching of the nerve. It raises up your spinet. It actually takes the place a section of your spine. And it was only approved for one level when I had it done. They're going for multiple levels they'll have soon. So right off the bat, what you need to do is somehow get the nerve unimpinged somehow, Marty. It's it's the tops I had done was good, but really decompression surgery sometimes helps people enough where they don't need an implant. So you just have to figure out how to

get your nerves unimpinged so they don't cause pain. In fact, like I said, stem cell therapy and chiropractic can do that if you not severely deformed back there. So what is your issue? Is it arthritis? Is it a bulge disc? What is it? I've got like the spondee spondee Okay, that's where one Okay, so you have one level it's slipping over the other. Yeah, L four and L five, Okay, that's exactly That's exactly where mine was. I had a little of that and I had impingement.

I had arthritis. So they took out that second and put the implant in, and you saw the YouTube. Now, if you're only band on L four L five, this is the perfect solution for you, in fact, for any one level, and soon it'll be for multi levels. So it's perfect for you. But there's also other things you can do. There are other things you can do before you do that. I'm not telling you

not to do this. But do you have arthritis as well? Do you have you can can there be can they do a decompression of the nerves and just trim around the nerves from what I uh, you know, I've been to a spine neurologist and they said and I've actually been to where they tried to put an injection in there and I watched the doctor do it. He said, there's so much bone growth that I have in air. He can't do the needle. The needle turns into a hook. He can't can't get

it in there. Okay, And I do. I do pet every day on my own oka that I've learned, and I can still play Marty. Have you found have you found anyone that does the TOPS procedure. There's a couple I've just recently looked into this the last week and there's I live in the Houston area, and there's somebody here and somebody in San Antonio. But I want to know, like I would be willing to travel, I want to know who's done the most of these and who is really skilled in it.

Well, you know what, there's a lot of doctors that have done a ton of them, and the Premia I'll tell you what, the Premium Spine website does a wonderful job of keeping track of the doctors, a wonderful job. I contacted them and I'm kind of going back and forth waiting, so we In fact, in Houston there's a Cushwah. His name is cush Wilha. I don't know what ethnicity it is, but it's it's bel Air, Texas. That's near you, right because my Yeah, I found him

and he's actually on my insurance plan. That was another question. If I don't know if you know, but I'm I'm on you know, my my company's insurance. Do you I don't know if you were on Medicare or whatever, but I'm Medicare insurance. I was on Medicare with a supplement, did not pay a dime. Now, a lot of insurances cover this, but some of them are getting out of some of them say, you know, this is what sucks. Some of them say, even though it's FDA approved,

it's still too new. But that's just bs. But if you can get it covered, this guy is pretty recommended here. He's he's in bel Air, Texas. I mean, and if you've already, have you talked to this his office? No, I haven't yet. I kind of wanted to, Like I said, I've Then there's a guy in San Antono a week. Yeah, I tell him too. But those are the only ones that see I would not go. There are doctors who say, oh, I'll do that, but if they're not already doing it, man, I

would not do it. Yeah. So if they're on that site, you would pretty much oh yeah. No. No, I know the people at Premia. I know the people at Premia because I've I've talked to them extensively about marketing this. I'm not being paid by them, by the way, I want to make that clear. I no, no, not being paid, not getting anything free. I did this. I did this because I

found it. In fact, my doctor went and got trained just for me when when and he became an expert at this and he did it before it was FDA approved to get trained and then we just waited literally waited for approval and scheduled my surgery. That's why I was one of the first. Oh wow, all so you know. And by the way, when I say one of the first, i'm talking about after FD approval. There have been

several I think they did three hundred prior. As far as for clinical I don't know exactly, but they did a ton of them for clinical trials. And they've been doing this in Europe for years, right, yep, that's right. And it was developed I believe it was developed in Israel, but yeah, I think. And the guy lives in Israel and in Bolder, Colorado. I came to find out he's in Bolder too, I think. But anyway, I've been in touch with the president, the CEO, and

these guys are solid. This is a this is a wonderful product. It and just to let you know, it doesn't even it doesn't even trip any of the airport stuff, like you know, I guess tight. So, but that's what it sounds like. Again, did you try stemseelves there? Like I said, if you're just that far deteriorated physiologically, then you want something like this and just you know, feel free to email me at any time. You can give him my email off the air. You look at

my heart was out to people or her. Trust me now, Jerry, I appreciate. Okay, Bartie, you stay in touch, Kachina. Give him my email, my private email. That's okay for anybody in pain like that. Jerry. What's going on with you? Om, I've been having a problem with a company called Diamond Wireless. Oh wireless okay. I was wondering what the hell Diamond Wallet, Diamond Wireless okay, So tell me in a nutshell what it is. We'll come back and solve it. I hope.

What's going on with it? Well, I've been getting charged nine ninety five a month for the last twenty years, and what do you have the service? Though? Right? They no longer exist? Tom, wait a minute, but about wait wait about you said you've been you've been charged nine to ninety five for the past how long? At least for the last fifteen

years. But anytime during that time did you have the service? Well, like I say, it was a insurance carrier for barous and Wireless, so I thought that I had the service hift, but in trying to cancel it, there's no way to cancel it. Wait a minute, Okay, we got to come back and explore this. Hang on, we'll come right back to you, all right. Three O three seven one three eight two five five. Three O three eight six two five five five four. Now Here's what I don't understand, Jerry has I guess had an insurance plan on his cell phone and they've been charging him for it nine ninety five for fifteen years. So originally when you had this, it did something. What did it do originally for you? Jerry? It was an insurance policy that if your phone was lost or damaged, right, they'd replaced him. Okay, now, and this was in a so this the name of the insurance was what Diamond Wireless?

Now Diamond Wireless? Was that also the name at the time of your carrier? Yes, it was. Okay, Then did you switch from the carrier Diamond to somewhere else? Yes, dud Verizon directly. When did you switch, Oh, approximately fifteen years ago, and that's when they kept charging you. That's correct. Okay, So you had them fifteen years ago and when you stopped using them and went to Verizon. Were they still in business

as far as I know? Yes? Are they in business now? There's a website for them, but the website, if you try to contact it, it's no longer in service. There was about a half a dozen phone numbers online to call them. Every phone number is disconnected to longer in service. Do you know. How did you do any kind of deep dive on how long they've been out of business? No? I did not. Okay, So here's the deal. When you switched over, how did you cancel

your service with Diamond? Well, I don't know that I did, because I never need to use the insurance. No, I'm not talking about the insurance. I'm talking about their service. Well, Diamond Diamond was the service for Verizon. Wait a minute, see, Jerry, I'm confused. You said Diamond Wireless was also your service provider, not just the insurance or are you telling me it was only for insurance. At that time, it was

called Diamond Wireless Verizon. There was a kiosk in the mall that said Diamond Wireless Verizon, and we bought our phones for them from them for years. So they were a that's called a Verizon dealer. That's correct. Okay, So you kept that dealer? I mean, in other words, did you actively back fifteen years ago switch from Diamond Wireless a Verizon dealer, to Verizon Corporate? Well, I suppose we did, because well, what do you

mean that. That's where I'm getting confused. What do you mean you think you did? Well, we've always had Verizon service. Okay, right, and at the time, at the time we bought this particular phone, Diamond Wireless was also the insurance carrier. Hey, can I make a s suggestion, Tom, That's very simple. Don't pay the bill and when they contact you, either a collection agency or the company. That way you'll have information on how to get in touch with them to solve the problem. When you

said you can't cancel it, what are you talking about? You can't cancel it. There's no way to contact a company called Diamond. But it's coming Where's it coming from your bank account or your credit card? It's coming from a credit card. You have to shut down your credit card. You understand that. Well, I canceled the credit card two months ago and got a new card with a new account number. They were still able to They called

it a bridge to cross the bridge and charge me for it. Well, like I said, hold on, wait no, wait, wait, wait, wait wait, do you know why they were able to do that, Jerry, Here's why I do not? Okay, And this is something a lot of people don't know about credit cards. Just because you cancel a credit card and get a new number, you don't have a new account you have

a new number. Any pre existing contracts that can be proven will cross that bridge you're talking about, and they can now attach your new card number. I had this happen one time to me where Capital One said, wait a minute, you have a contract with these people, and I said, no, they're not fulfilling their end of the contract. And Capital One said that's not for us to decide. You have a contract and there's nothing you can do about it. And I said, then I want to close my account.

What happens if I close it? They say, well, then we can't pay it. So I simply close it completely and then got a brand new card. Unfortunately, a brand new account, and it shuts it down. They can't bridge that gap. Okay, now, okay, this is a this is a Capital One I'm doing with Okay, with Capital One. I was just straight with them and I told them the whole story. They're the ones that advised me I had to close the account. They says,

now you open up the account again. Under like if it was Thomas whatever Martino, I put in my middle initial, or I made it in another name, my name, I reapplied for credit. I had to do it from scratch and that's what you But you have to make sure that if you do that, they're not going to bridge that gap because you're being cheated. Okay, that and they can do it because I did it, but that

will stop the future billing. Now, as far as the past billing, that money went somewhere, and Verizon must tell you, not Verizon in fact, well I don't know. Verizon might know that too, but they must know where that money's going. Where was Diamond Wireless located? It was in the Colorado Mills Mall. Oh it was, yes, Diamond Wireless and they were a Verizon dealer. That's how they did it. That's correct. And that money is going into someone's account and it is okay, well you have

to find out where it's going. Who's drawing it? Is it? You have to find out, I mean, it's your credit card. Capitol one has to tell you that. Have you done in investigation with Capital One? Yet? I certainly have where? Okay, what account is it going into? What entity? Uh? I don't know what you mean there? What where's the money going? Bro? Where is it going? You said you did research? Where is your money going? Of Utah? Okay, gets in Utah. It's in Sandy, Utah. That's where the company is.

That's what the satment says. But like I said, if you try to find the company in Utah, it's not there. Somebody is getting the money. I agree there I don't know who it is, and they're probably getting a ton of money from a ton of people. Yes, if you research them and wireless, it's complain after complain after complaint. Okay, Then you need to also call the Consumer Finance Protection Burrow. You need to put in a complaint because you're not the only one this is happening to, Okay.

And the way you do that is you go to you go to the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. It's a there's a website and you put in a complaint on the top right corner and they have a website. I forget what that would the u ur L is. I can get it in a second here. But that's what you need to do. And you will, I mean you, you will absolutely get an answer from them. And did you do

a did you go to the Secretary of State in Utah? No? It did not, Okay, because you should because what you would find how much money did you add it all up? How much has it been. I can't. I haven't done it. Okay. They were dissolved in two thousand and one in Colorado, Diamond Wireless Networks. Okay, they were dissolved. So I believe that you can go to if this has been Capital One, I would sue Capital One for the money too. But Diamond Wireless literally went

out of business in two thousand and one. On March second, two thousand and one, they were voluntarily dissolved. Now that money, somebody is creating a big scam. I mean, there's a big scam going on here. You should go to the You should go to the Secretary of State in Utah and find out somebody is really pulling a scam. But man, you have to do this. You have to do this. I can't do it for

you. You do the Utah government search. I'm on their website right now, and you put in Diamond Wireless. Somebody took the records and realized they could still get paid. I have to take a break. Okay, here, it is Diamond Wireless in Utah right now. If if it's Diamond Wireless too, there's Diamond Wireless life Cycle, there's Diamond Wireless LLC. There's Diamond Wireless Dash Utah LLC. Which one is it. It's in Sandy, you said, right, yes, okay, that is in Sandy, Utah.

That's Diamond Wireless life Cycle LLC. And the I have the name of the registered agent. Bro. I don't know what kind of what kind of research you did, but here's the here's the I would go after that, that registered agent and sue them for every penny that they've collected from you. Their status is expired, however they were. They were last renewed in twenty fifteen. There's a scam going on here, and in fact Capital one should have

never kept taking that money, and you should ask Capital one. Listen carefully. I want you to call me back. Okay, I'm giving you homework. Go to Utah Secretary of State or their online business search. Find out these people print this stuff out. Then I want you to go to Capital one and you say, to Capital one, how is it that a company that is out of business is still collecting? And you say they cross the bridge. I want to know how they cross the bridge since there is no

bridge. You make Capital one, you make them tell you. I would. I would go back to Capital one and I would put them on the hook as well because they have a certain obligation as well. five five. Well, it's been quite a busy day. If you have a problem, question, or complain, give us a call. And uh, I'm telling you this thing about this wireless charge. I've been looking more into it. It's amazing to me how auto charges can be continued by credit card companies and people hardly notice it. And if you take just a few bucks a month, can you imagine what this guy has paid? I mean,

I mean if you do the math on this. He's been paying so much a month and didn't notice it, and it's for a service that doesn't even exist anymore. They went out of business, well they went out of business in two thousand and one in Colorado, but they have a corporation that

was collecting from him offering zero services zero. So if you go fifteen years times twelve months, that's one hundred and eighty months times basically nine ninety five were to just say ten bucks, so they've gotten eighteen hundred bucks from him. What I think the problem is tome so many people do not get their credit card statements in paper anymore. Is just digital. And I know that I've kept all of my statements paper and then I go through them every month

and I see what I'm being charged for. And so many people I don't think you know how many times I've gone through my statement and there are so many charges. Is it paper or digital? Well, I go on a digital, but I still go through it. You go through it pdf? Yeah, I think I can go through a PDF and you could print it if you want. But I think so many people get lazy, and but I go through it as soon as goes through it. But let me just

tell you my problem. My biggest problem is I forget some of the charges on there and start panicking, and almost every time eventually find out what it is. In other words, can you I can't recognize some of these charges. Absolutely, I ordered some parts for my hot tub. I know. Then you're seeing the company and then you say, wait a minute, I never did this. I even called I've even called capital what the hell is this? Or or I've called whoever I have, I have different cards and

what is this? And I always find out it was me. I don't think I've ever uncovered a scam. Well, but you're keeping track of your stuff. So many people don't. Well, I don't really keep track because, like I said, if I go on there today, I scare the hell out of myself. It's almost like I don't want to know because I mean I don't know. I mean I do we Maybe we should like a checking register, we should write down, Honest to god, we probably should.

Now the regulars, I know the restaurants, I know what restaurants. What if you see like a reoccurring charge for let's say six ninety nine six dollars and ninety nine cents and it's coming out of Vegas something like that. I think that you would you start paying attention to it, wouldn't you? Yes, a low dollar amount that's reoccurring three months? Well, yeah,

I guess we would. Here's another problem that people don't realize. If you call Capital Ones the worst company to deal with, the worst, Oh, they're they're difficult. Now let me tell you. Let me tell you why. If you have your card that you use for auto payments, okay, do you use your card for auto payments? Absolutely? I use them for

at least sixty auto payments. Sixty Now, if you find one charge for four dollars and ninety five cents that you don't recognize, and you call Capital one and say this is not mine, they immediately want to send you out a new card. They will not Oh that's right, they will not just remove that one charge. They won't do it. They will, but then you must close that card and get a new one, that's right. So that's why. And when you do that, you have to re enter sixty

five auto pays, sixty five of them, that's right. So when you call, though, you have to say no, think about what is that? What is this four ninety nine charge four, Tell me who this vendor is and give me their information. Because if you just say I'm disputing it straight off, straight away, then yeah, you're gonna have to cancel the cards and those virtual cards. Okay, let's say you do a virtual card for each merchant, so you know who they are, and you go in

and you identify them. Right. If you get an errant charge on your account and you have to change the card, the underlying card, all of your virtual cards go away. So what good is it? It's the most inconvenient thing that has ever happened, because you it's almost where you say the hell with it. It's four ninety five. I'll live with it. It's

takes me less time and money to pay it. I can stop the future ones, but to pay it and say forget the refund, you know, I just That's what I'm saying, stop the reoccurring ones in the future. Now. I know a guy. He will sign up for those introductory offers, and you know they always want to hit your credit card later on. He always uses a prepaid debit card for those, so he'll get the special whatever it is twenty five ninety nine initially and then they want to start keep

hitting your card. Well, that prepaid debit card. You make sure it's only got thirty dollars on it. Yeah, I'm telling you that if people knew how much they're being screwed each and every year. What's going on in your life? How can we help you? Well, I want to bring up one story that you know. Each day, we have compelling stories on the show, and some of them I highlight because they're worth repeating.

And then Deputy Doc did some follow up on this one. Plus believe it or not, I've actually had some anonymous texts on this as well. And here's what's going on. Ryan called earlier and said, listen, I got into a problem with my apartment complex. He said that he was visiting a friend, Mark at the apartment complex and all of this Shelby Rayne first names only Noah, apartment complex given, and he said that he and Mark ran into a guy that used to live in the building and Mark, that's

Ryan's friend, who called us. Ryan called us. Mark asked them to have a few drinks or invited him in somehow, and the three of them were having drinks and it got uncomfortable because the guy was getting a little drunk and Mark and the other guy, so they wanted the other guy to leave, and they walked him down to the front door, but he didn't leave. They went and talked to security and said, we think this guy should

leave. And apparently security did nothing. So got upset and went back to his apartment and pulled out some guns and he told Ryan, I want to get him out of here. Now Mark was drunk and armed. Now what Ryan says is Mark handed him a gun, and now I know why. He says that he handed him a gun. But Ryan gave it right back to him and said, no, no, I don't want to do this.

So Mark went through the building looking for this other stranger that used to live there to get him out of the building, and went looking for him, drunk and armed, and Ryan went with him. But Ryan claims he was not armed. But Ryan did make a special point of saying each time he told the story, one thing he emphasized all the time, And I wondered, why is that the guy pushed a gun in his hand and he

immediately gave it back. So anyway, the cops were called when they saw these two guys roaming the halls, and numerous people saw them, and also not just did they see them, but they saw them with guns and called the cops. The cops came, did not make any arrests because no shots were fired, no one was threatened. They didn't you know, they didn't just say anything to tenants. They didn't even find the guy that they wanted

to remove from the building. God knows what would have happened if they found him, but they didn't. But the next day Ryan is told what Ryan that they want you out of there or what? Yeah, they wanted me a victim. It is what they said. They said, me and Mark are both to be evicted effective immediately. Okay, Now I got some good news and I got some bad news. The good news is they're not looking for an immediate eviction from you, right, Doc, that's correct, they

said. However, they probably will not renew his lease. Is that right? That's also correct? And when is that March's lease? Wait? Your lease is up next month? No? No, no, I'm saying that. You said. If they're not going to renew his lease, who's he? No? You? Okay, so you're not going to be offered a new lease. When is your lease up? Uh? It would have been eighteen months from July tenth last year. So basically you got some time left.

Yeah, well that should help you a little. Maybe during the remaining time you can win yourself back into their graces. I don't know, but the other thing, Ryan, we have some anonymous reports I get text here on the show. Yeah, and a lot of people listen to this, and there are some people who recognize this story and they swear that they saw you with two handguns, not one, but two, and walk with two rifles. So I want to ask you something. At any time could someone

have seen you with two guns? The only person that could have ever seen you with any gun would be the security guard. And that was when Mark handed me the gun and I handed it right back. See that's why you keep saying you handed it right back, because then you can explain why people saw you with a gun. Did he hand you one or two guns? One? He had two handguns with him and a rifle. And how so now it's two hand guns and a rifle. Yeah, So what I want

to know is no, he is. He had always said there were multiple guns. What I want to know, I'm not trying to trick Ryan. I'm really trying to get the truth here. Ryan. How long was it in your hand before you gave it back? Maybe thirty seconds or less? I where was the security guard standing? And why would he have seen this exchange? He saw the exchange because I guess he had no choice too. He was sitting at his post. But I thought this, I thought Mark

went back to his apartment to get the guns. He did, and he came right back down to the first floor. And you were were you with him or were you on the first floor waiting for him. I was on the first floor trying to stay with security and wait for the Okay, so you stayed with security and you were there while Mark went back to his apartment, that's correct, And then Mark came back. Was is Mark's apartment on another floor? Yes, he's one floor above me. Did he come down

the stairs or out of the elevator? Out of the elevator, and when he walks out of the elevator he comes out with two handguns and a rifle. Yes. And then he walks up to you and hands you a handgun. Yes, and then you handed it back immediately. Yes. How did

he carry two handguns and a rifle? Well? Typically, Well, this night, he had one handgun in his left pocket and kept switching him back and forth between the left and the right pocket on his side, and then he had one in his pocket and then the other one in his hand. No, the other one was in his hoodie in the low sleeve pocket, so he had one in his hoodie, one in his pants, and then holding a rifle. Yes, that's correct, the entire time. And you

only had it for a few seconds. Yes, And when you gave it back to him, what did he say about that? He looked at me, tried to push it back, and then he immediately thought like, no, he's right, he's never shot the guns before. It wouldn't be appropriate, and he kind of I could see that he knew that. I felt uncomfortable. Now, this is a security guard. If I'm a security guard and I see a tenant come out of the elevator with three guns, I

would run, like Helen, call the cops. So what did the security guard do? He stayed at his post, set completely still. He was freaked out like I've never seen before. Did he say what are you doing? He did? And what did Mark say? He said, We're gonna go upstairs and get the guy. But why? What was the reason Mark thought that this guy posed a threat that I don't know honestly like he claim. And when he said we're gonna go upstairs and get this guy, what

did the security guard say? He didn't say anything. He watched us go upstairs, and I'm assuming he's the one that called the police. Of course, you say something, Ryan, if somebody says to me, I'm gonna go get that guy, I would say something like, you can't do that, You're gonna kill somebody. Yeah, what do you think have happened if he did find this guy? I honestly have no clue. Like I said, he had been drinking, so I don't know what his intentions were at

all. Now someone said here that texted me, I applaud the guy. He was courageous and he probably prevented something serious from happening. I don't think he prevented anything. I think that we don't know what he prevented because he never found the guy. R The guy is still intendant here according to management. The guy what but the guy that he was looking for is still apparently a tenant on a lease as a secondary person on the lease here at the

apartment complex, according to management. Have you talked to Mark since this happened last night? Yes? And what does Mark say? He says he should not have done that, but at the same time, he knows that he put the gun in my hand and that he shouldn't have done that either, and that I gave it right back to him, and he was going to go talk to management and let them know that I didn't want any part of

it, and I put the hands on back. Well, I hope he does, and I hope they believe him, because people say they saw you with a gun, and that's pretty damn bad. I grew up around guns. I've shot them most of my life. I know the safety concerns about them in this day and age. I know that you're only supposed to use

them at a range or in defense. I would never use a gun if I were to own one in that sort of manner, let alone the fact of using someone else's gun that I have not shot before in that manner or any manner. Okay, well, at least you don't have to worry about an immediate eviction. I don't know what you're gonna do to stay there, but it doesn't look promising, is what I'm saying. It's Yes, that's

better than having innovation on my record. Right. Maybe they would even let you out early if you could find a place you might want to not wait till the last minute, you know, yeah, and ask them if they'd let you out early. Hi Tom Martino, you're a troubleshooter. Three O three seven one three talks seven one three eight two five five. Welcome to the show,

and let's talk Randy. What's going on with you? Hello Randy, Hi Tom, longtime listener. Thank you man. What's happening? I'm a full time Uber driver. I've been driving for Uber for almost eight and a half years. I've never had any complaints. I have a four point nine

to nine rating and I received a week ago Monday. I tried to sign in this my account so I could start driving, and my account was frozen and why I received a text message from Uber saying that in a recent review of your account, your account was identified as a duplicate of an account that was previously deactivated. And then they say that my account is tied in with another email address which does not belong to me. It's not my email address.

I've never had a duplicate account. I've never had a problem, but I've been Okay, so hold on, So right now, you're the short story is you're deactivated from driving. And the reason they're giving you is it's why that it was a duplicate, says right, your recent review my account, your account was identified as a duplicate of an account that was previously deactivated.

Okay, And the previous account that was deactivated was not yours. No, no, But they didn't give me, you know, another email address that they said was associated with the account that was deactivated. Okay, is it a similar name? Do you have a common name? No, it's totally different. It's not even close. It's it's not even close to my email address. They had me go to I had to submit a picture of my driver's license, a picture of my driver's license next to my face so

they could identify me. And then I had to file a police report, you know, within my local municipality. And I'd submitted all that and I am still deactivated. And did you ask them if and there's no way they will open up an account for you. No, No, no, they won't. Do they think Do they think you were scamming them or something?

Or what? It says here that it says according to community guidelines, fraudulent activities such as creating duple of accounts is not allowed because your account appears to be associated with account that was previously deactivated. Your account hasn't been deactivated. Oh my goodness, gracious, this is weird and you have no idea. You don't recognize that emailed your dress at all. No, it's some guy named the email addresses Giovanni. No, I don't like it's not it's I've

never seen that, did you? No? I haven't I believe that Giovanni. It's Geovanni T I G A S A I twenty nine at gmail dot com is possibly the email address of the person that does duplicated my account and he caused all this havoc for you. Yeah, So when you call Uber and you say my account. Now, now, by the way, this happened all of a sudden, your account just was deactivated, right, yeah, yeah, all of a sudden you couldn't sign on and go to work.

Is that correct? It was instantaneous, yes, And when you called to find out why, they said it was a duplicate account, right, And they said it was associated with fraudulent activity. Correct. Man, I don't know what to tell you. Have you tried doing a lift account? I already born a lift but I do it both. I've been doing this for nine years old, Okay, But what I'm saying is you can still do lift. Oh yeah, I can lift, no problem, and you

do it. Yeah. I mean, but compared to Uber, Lift would be at the most maybe twenty percent of my income, where Uber would make up eighty percent of my income, just because there's so much more. There are so many more rides of being requested on Uber than there are lyfts, So it's a big hit. And you know, I'm not really sure.

I mean, like I said, I went to my police department and filed a stolen identity report, although the only thing that was stolen with the by account information, I believe, And I'm not having any problems with my bank accounts or checking or credit cards. I'm not having any frauds of activity on any of my accounts other than this particular violation of my Uber account. And I'm not sure what my recourse could be. God, I mean, unless you can find this guy, I mean, I don't know what your recourse

can be either. This is the problem, by the way, with everything, Okay, this is the new kind of way to get rid of people. I'm not saying they're doing this intentionally, but banks, for example, when they want to debank someone, when they want to get rid of a customer. And by the way, banks do this for political reasons, Okay, they don't like certain people. Like there's this one guy that had a website that a lot of people don't like, and on his website he sells

items and he has a credit card processing and all of that. The bank debanked him. In other words, there was nothing they could do to censor him or to say we don't like you. But what they did instead was simply took away his bank accounts and said we notice unusual activity or fraudulent activity. That was their excuse for closing his accounts, and they closed the accounts of all his employees so they couldn't do it. Their excuse was fraudulent activity.

Now I'm not saying they're trying to get rid of you. But what I'm saying is when a company just says that, there's almost nothing you can do about it, because they simply say, we no longer want you. That's what they say, we no longer want you. But for some reason, it could be legit that yours is a duplet account. They do that on eBay, they do it with banks, they do it with social media. They can just say you violate okay. For example, YouTube is famous

for saying you violated community standards. They don't tell you what you did. They say, read this article, okay, Facebook does that? What does it mean? They don't say on this date you did this thing. They don't say that. They just say you violated community standards. So how do you fight that? How do you fight the idea? Did you ask them how you con vindicate yourself? And you did what they asked? The picture of your driver's license, a police report, and all of that. Is

that correct? Yes? How long ago did you do all that? The same day that I got get well. How long ago was that? That was over a week ago. I think you're not giving it enough time. Do you have a contact at Uber? Yeah, I've got a contact and I'm dealing with them. See that's what I would do, Randy. Here's

what I'm saying. Let's give it at least another week. I mean, really, it could take three or four weeks to investigate this if they truly are investigating it, and then they probably want to see how much you're going to call back and follow up because a real fraud won't do that and just be civil about it and let us know what happens. Because I don't know

what else to do other than to go through the motions. It's a terrible situation, and for anyone that has gone through this with today's world, they make an accusation and then you are deemed guilty until they find that you're not, and sometimes they just ignore you. Hi Tom Martino, your troubleshooter three O three seven one three talk three oh three seven one three eight two five five Diana, what's going on with you? Hello Diana? Diana, Hi, what's

happening? Well? I have a contract with Choice Home Warranty and I heard the lady that had the problem a few days ago, and I have not had my refrigerator in service since January the nineteenth. And they home warranties home warranty suck. I don't you know. I just I don't know why people. I don't know why people have home warranties they don't work. I know, Now, what reason are they giving you for not fixing your refrigerator?

Well, they I called after on the nineteenth of January and they said they would send someone out on the twenty sixth of January, and so my daughter is trying to help me with certain administrative things, and she called them and said, this is her refrigerator. Can't you come out sooner? And so

they said they would. This was Sears, of course, and they would send Sears Home Service out and they said they would send someone on the twenty third, so I happened unfortunately, So hold on, it's not that though. Let me get this straight. Choice Home Warranty is not refusing to fix it. They just haven't even looked at it. No, they did. They they stood us up on the twenty third, but they came out to twenty sixth. They and what did they say? What's the bottom line?

Ordered a part. They ordered a part for the refrigerator, but I mean for the freezer. But it was the refrigerator that was not cooling. And so I have been in and out with them ever since for over a month. So they're just not fixing it. They're just totally incompetent. They're making it difficult. They will not communicate with me, seriously, will not.

It's all robot things and they will not talk to you. And the problem with Choice Home Warranty is I spoke to a woman when I asked to speak to a supervisor, and she said that she really I wanted to cancel my contract. And by the way, how much are you paying for? How much are you paying for this? It was the original in two thousand and twenty three was fourteen hundred dollars for four or five years, And so she said that, no, you don't have nine hundred and ninety dollars coming,

you have seventy five dollars coming. Because they tell you they're going to pay for parts and service labor, but they actually are just giving you a discount on the parts of labor. Because she said my money had been all used up on previous repairs except for seventy five dollars. So basically, you don't have coverage anymore? Did you already? But you don't pay monthly? Right now? Do You're not going to renew this thing? Right? No?

I have already paid unfortunately upfront. And they're telling me, well, how many years ago, how many years ago did you how many years ago did you buy it? Two twenty three? Oh, so it's Brandbuary of twenty twenty three, and they're telling me that they don't they used the money that I paid in for the parts of labor on minor repairs that I've had done so far. And when she said, I know some people there upstairs,

I will try to get that. So wait, what are they saying, Diana, what do you mean you used up the money you paid in? The whole idea of a warranty is they keep fixing it anyway? Are they saying once you run out of that initial premium, they don't come back. Now, what they're saying is if I cancel, I don't have any money coming back. Oh, he didn't want me to cancel, and I just wanted to be rid of them because they are such a sleepy operations. Well,

of course they are. They're totally sleeved phone number. She gave me her phone number, and when I tried to call her back, it said this extension has been deactivated for voicemail. And I never heard back from her. So I called them again and they set an appointment for March the fifth, and so I am, that's the point, Diana. I'm going to tell you something. Okay, we have very little luck with home warranty companies

because they suck so much. They just suck. Wondering I heard that your your associate was to have a three way conversation with the customer, and right right, we have done that in the past. I don't know who handled it the last one, but I I will tell you. Was it Chopper? Yes? And he got them to fix it, didn't he? No? No, no, they made a settlement they did. You know what, maybe we should give this to Chopper again and see if she can just

work out a refund or something. People listening to me, please appreciate that, because, Okay, I'm gonna give it to I'm gonna give it to Chopper. Okay, we'll give it to our deputy. Hold on a second. I just want to make this clear. Do not buy a home warranty period. Okay for the little help you'll get here and there, it's never worth the money. You don't you don't have to see Excel roofing and it comes back with your pricing. That's right, instant online question. Will you guarantee those prices? They're within about five percent? What does that mean? When would

it be wrong? Just for some reason? Sometimes the price isn't exactly dead on because this aerial view that we're using here, it's a Google satellite view, and sometimes, like for your house that you're looking at right now, Tom, it has a lot of valleys and there's just a lot of different areas and that's all I know.
