Mike Robinson did it his let me get you change nothing,
nothing, shame Shut up. Mike. Mike's energy did it. He came in from Colorado springs from smith fluming heat and cooling electric and everything. I think he even does your lawns. No, no, I'm just kidding. Anyway, Mike is here, and uh, we're gonna talk a little bit about this time. Did you know he is one of the fastest growing businesses in the country, in the country, Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean as far as the growth they've had. And Mike, how many of
those pink vans do you have a roaming around the springs now? Yeah, we're we're up to about seventy eight. No, no, come on. And I like to say I knew him when he was just well, not starting, but almost. I knew him when he played for the Canadian Football League, that's right. We were just talking about that. And as a result of that, I don't know if I should tell people. Can I tell him he had to have both hips replaced recently? Mike? You actually
that was because of your football days for real. Yeah, that's what the doctor's telling me, that it'd been a long time, long time getting beat up and it was just time. So yeah, I feel one hundred percent better now, man. But he just had it done like last month, for God's sakes, and he's walking around like a champ. He had both of them done, and wow, you know, I had that spinal implant plant in August. So I'm on my sixth month and it's been great.
So anyway, we're going to go to the phones. Otherwise, if I get stuck talking about ailments, I'll be uh, it might be a while. So here's the number three oh three Martino, three oh three six two seventy four sixty six. You can call back twenty four to seven and you can leave a message if we're not if we don't pick up, and then
we'll get back to you and get you on the show. The other one is you can call straight through at three oh three seven one three talk three oh three seven one three eight two five five and welcome to the show. We talk about everything really to do with your heart, mind, and pocketbook. And it's really great because nowhere else are these things discussed, not on social media, not in radio, not on TV. Well, I guess you do have some some people that do some consumer stories on TV do a
pretty good job. And right now we're going to talk to Marie about an eviction from a mobile home. Now, I want to just say something. Evictions with mobile homes are a whole dear for an animal, a whole different animal. They're special rules because people invest in a mobile home. Unless they're just renting a mobile home, then it becomes a normal eviction. If they own the mobile home and they're trying to get the mobile home out of the
park, it's a whole different deal here. So, Marie, what's going on with you? So? As I was saying, my son and another kid had got into an incident here, and since my son didn't get charges pressed on him because there's not enough evidence to prove that it was him, okay, were they in a fight? Is that what happened or is that what was alleged? Yeah? And this was at your mobile home park? Yes? Okay? And was the kid living? Does the kid live there?
And does your son live with you? My son lives with me part time. We have fifty to fifty custody with his dad. Okay? Now, and and do you own the mobile home I'm buying it? Yes? Okay? So is it new or is it used? There's a reason I'm asking this it's used? Okay? So did you already did you move into a used mobile home that was already there? You assumed the least for the space and then started buying the home with a loan yes, okay, I
think what the problem is though, they don't want her kid there. Well that could be yea, yeah, it could be. Now, so has your son ever gotten into trouble before? No? Not here. No, I love that caveat well okay, but that's the first time. How bad was this scuffle? What happened so allegedly they said the little boy was the boy was pushed down and his shoes were taken, and it was somebody wearing a ski mask and they've seen them run this way, so automatically assumed it
was my son, and so the cops came and investigated. They said there was not enough evidence. Time didn't add up for my son being at school and him walking home for him to be here around this time. What did they say this ski mask guy did. They said that he went and pushed the little boy twice. He fell on the ground, and they said there was two of them and that they took the little boy's shoes. So the son is accused of this. How old is your son? He's thirteen?
Okay, that's weird. Okay, So what did they so aswer this? What did they say to you? They didn't tell me anything. In the officer called me and he said I need to speak to you and your son. And I said that's fine, you could come speak us. He asked me if I was home. I said no, I'm at work. So they came in. He questioned my son, he asked him questions, and then they he went back to the There was no evidence that my son was where they said it happened. And where's it? Was it a younger boy
that he's accused of doing this too? Yeah? Okay? And does the younger boy identify him? No? And was this inside the bounds of the mobile home park or was it outside the bounds? It was inside. They said it happened by the clubhouse, but when the officer reviewed the tape, they said they didn't see him there. Okay, why do they think it's your son? I mean, what evidence if anything? Because they said they
said they've seen him run towards this way. Okay. So even though the police did not have enough evidence, the park is saying we want you out of here. Is that right? Mm hmm? Yeah. They they gave me a ten day noticed he's could get out. Now, would you have to move your mobile home? That's what they're asking. So their lawyers given me the options for them to either you vict me or to sell in two months. My gosh, dang it. Where's it located in Lamplighter Village?
Well, I'd like to see where where is where there? Do this? Hold on? Mark, We're gonna get let's get Brad O'Brien and see if you can bone up on the trailer park laws. Hey, Marie, where is Lamplighter? It's off ninety second in Pecos. Okay? What were you asking? Mark? I I don't understand. If there's no police that agree that this kid did anything, I don't know how they arbitrarily just say hey, it was him. That's the part I'm missing. So the eviction notice
is the reason they said. Basically, they put that my son's a threat to the mobile home park. Uh huh, and that people felt threatened for their life. So this isn't his first road you? Well? No, she said it was the first time he's been in trouble there. Well okay, But once again, here's what I'm missing. I don't understand if no one saw that it was him, why can they just say hey, it
was him? Yeah? And then I said there was previous incidents before, And I'm like well, I was never brought to my attention, and like, okay, what like, for example, what kind of previous incidents that's they won't tell me they want right, hold on, We're going to try to get an attorney on for this. Okay, hold on, and I want Tom. I got to ask you something real quick here. Tom's on the line about your refrigerator. Is mister Appliance the name of the repair shop,
and is mister Appliance of Parker, Colorado, Yes, sir? And is the issue with the quality of repair or with cheating? Yes, sir? Yes. What happened was, you know, it's a it's an en Wong unit, and so I figured it's going to cost a little bit of money to fix it because it was starting to go off to tamp Yeah. The unit's probably fifteen years old. And so mister Pliance comes out and the guy keeps coming and coming and coming to the tune of seven thousand dollars.
Oh no, no, no, no, no, hold on a second, God, I got to talk about this. Hang on. I'm Tom Martine. We'll talk about this coming up now. By the way, I got Mike Robinson with us from Smith Plumbing Heating. What the official name, The official name plumbing, heating, cooling, electric drains is that is all? Or why no dreams no drains? We do dreams name okay? So okay? Now Smith By the way, Smith Smith is with us. He's
mainly in the springs coming up to Castle Rock. And by the way, just so you know, I'm wearing his you see their their whole trademark is pink because he and his wife own it his and he calls the wife his boss. So I got this pink hoodie on cool looking, isn't it anyway? His wife looks a lot better in those hoodies than you do. Yeah, well I got one anyway. Yeah, that's true. Tom Martino, your troubleshooter did Were we able to get Brad O'Brien are on it? Okay, we're working on it for Marie. Hang on, Tom, how the hell? How the hell do you get an appliance repair guy that keeps coming back and milking you like that? Now, start from the beginning, because I
just delved into it a little. Start from the beginning, Tom, Okay, great, Tom, I appreciate it. So based sure, last April, we have a Viking in wall refrigerator unit, fridge and freezer, and it's Viking is a high end brand, yes, sir, and it's an inn wall unit. So it's I said, okay. So, and so we noticed the refrigerator was going above tamp and what month was that in twenty twenty three? That was April? Okay, got it? So we we
called mister appliants at Parker. They showed that they're an appliance for they were represented for Viking, and so they sent a guy out and we started this month after month coming out doing things, try this, try that, try this, try that, and we ended up with aftermarket parts. We ended up with them taking the unit out of the wall, damage in the cabinets. And at the time I didn't really understand. I mean, it was like, well, it's a high D unit. It's going to require her.
It's like working on a portion. I guess, I don't know. It didn't seem like it. What was wrong? Is this the top compressor or bottom? Yes, sir, it's a top compressor, yes, sir.
Normally they have a compartment that you can get to everything without pulling it out, so without taking it out, right, So we had our we had our cabinets damaged, and and so it came after a while, it just became enough that we understood that this guy didn't know what he was doing, and so we kept watching the bills and my wife is paying these guys, Well, tell me some of the things he did and for the price.
Well, what he did was if we look back through the invoices, you know, well, first he's start and check it, like the caplary tubes or the compressor or this or that, and so he keeps throwing different parts at the thing, and pretty soon he's going to put a compressor in, and he's going to put an evaporator coil in, and he's doing this, doing this, doing this, and it's still sitting there, running at
fifty degrees. And they came back out again because they had taken it out of the wall put it back in crooked, and I'm like, guys, I can't have this, you know, And I said, you need to look at the temph thing. So they sent two guys out. After the sixth or seventh time, they managed to straighten it back out. And during this time I had tried to call the manager over there, and they never tell you how much did you? Okay, hold on, hold on?
How much did you spend? Total? Honest to goodness, was it seven grand? It's six six seven ninety one dollars? And is it working? If that wasn't working, it's sitting at fifty degrees And I'm like, I can't take this, So I called wait, wait, is it work? Hold on? Clients? Did I need to know this? Did they ever get it working. For the sixty seven hundred bucks, they got it working. Ever, where do you stand now? Did you have to call someone
else? I did so, so we called over to Ferguson's kitchen in Bath, where we bought all of our kitchen stuff. He referred me to a group called Promise Appliants. They said, there's one company that we trust and knows how to work on these things. They sent a guy out. He opens up the top container of the refrigerator. The compressor is so hot. He goes, Tom, this is going to start on fire. He goes, I got to shut this off. So he shut it off and he
goes, Tom, I'm going to tell you. I don't know what this guy did, but he's got all aftermarket parts in there. The Promise Appliants guy, sharp, guy, well trained on these things. Is Tom, you never have to take this unit out of the wall ever, I know? And he ended up have to take everything out. I have all the parts in my garage. How much, hold on, how much did it cost you with Promise to get it fixed? Forty seven ninety four and it
would have been about a thousand dollars cheaper. He said, if I didn't have to take everything out, and I figured a thirty seven hundreds? Okay, so I assume that's fine. Did they did he say you got zero value for the sixty seven hundred? Or was he did he use anything that they did? He did, and he said, Tom, I'm gonna he did what? No, No, I need Tom. This is really important, okay, because you spent forty seven hundred in addition to sixty seven.
What I need to know is did you get when we go after mister appliance? Did you get any value for the sixty seven hundred? For example? Are there parts he did use? He did not? He took them all out there in my garage. What does mister I assume you called mister appliance? What do they say about bro? I actually drove over there and went in to meet with them, met with the girl at the counter. The guy wasn't in. I said, you know, I've called this guy multiple
times. I don't know who he is. It's very hard to talk to anybody. I gave her the same email that I sent you. I said, look, I don't want to go to court over this, guys. I'd like to like to get this resolved. I mean I'll even sit down and work it out, because stand your business and I understand this kid's trying to fin Yeah, but what, Okay, get to the bottom line. Did they did they cooperate with you at all? Zero? No return calls,
know anything. I actually ended up trying to call last week. I called down to Waco, Texas, where the headquarters for it looks like it's all just a franchise. Which one are you dealing with? Aurora Littleton Parker? Who Parker? Mister appliance of Parker. Sometimes they're no one mark, They're just aggregators of leads, you know, and then they send people out. Now there's there's a bunch of them that I think it is a franchise. You know about the Mike, have you ever heard of them? They
hold on, hold On, see hold on. Mike uses them, which means you could have some good franchisees and some bad franchisees, right, Mike, Yeah, I use them for for my appliances. They've always been in the spring, in the springs, they've always been on time, reasonably priced. Uh wow, fix it right the first time. So I was shocked that this didn't do it. Well, let's try to get the guy on from Parker that went out there and apparently put in the wrong parts or whatever.
Let's get his side of the story. Absolutely, I agree, And so they will do nothing for you? Is that the bottom line? I have received no return calls. I've emailed, left messages, been to their office. Nothing. All right, hold on, Tom, let's try to get them on. I'm going to mark this pending and then Brad O'Brien is unavailable for this right now, so you hang on, Marie. We need to figure out you're rights here this. I'll tell you one thing I think
Marie needs to do, and I'm not kidding here. I mean, if this kid of hers at thirteen years old, is putting on a ski mask and running around him, if he is, if he is for their shoes, she needs to have a sit down with this kid. Yeah I don't believe. Yeah, but I don't believe. I don't know, man, It's what I mean. But what but Mark, okay, you're saying if so okay, if she says it's not with the trailer park, just decide to take it all out on her and her kid right now because they said
there were previous incidents. I get what you're saying she's never got a warning about previous incidents. I'm not sure. I want to ask her something, Murray, how old is your mobile home park? Excuse me? Is your mobile home? It's the twenty sixteen. Okay. You know The reason I asked that is the older the home, the more they try to get rid of them so they can make room for new ones. And I don't care, but that's the way it is, right and like, so let me
bring up another issue. So I had when I first moved in here. My boyfriend applied and they denied him and they told him that he couldn't even come visit me. Well, what Zack had to doing that? There's something more going on. I think we should call the mobile home park can try to what I'll call him over break, get me their phone number at the front desk or whatever they got cooked, and let's figure out what the hell's
going on. Good idea. I'm Tom Martino with by the Way Smithpink Trucks dot Com if you're in the Springs or Castlerock area, Plumbing, heating, cooling, electric and we have more coming up on the Troubleshooter Show. zero sixteen twenty two. Tom Martino here, I'm looking up mobile home evictions, and you know it does take more to evict someone in a mobile home, a lot more, But the reasons are relatively the same, nonpayment, violation of rules and regulations, illegal activity. So we're going to try to figure this swoot out and uh so, and then we were calling the appliance
company to see what the hell is going on there. I left a message with the mobile home park and I'm dying to hear back from this other company, this refrigid air company. I mean, how do you spend that much money? Seven four hundred? Did he say he allowed him to come out? I know they were out a few times, but did he allow him to come out another time? How many times did the guy allow him to come out and try to fix it? Tom? How many actual visits at
your home the first one? How many more? I'm going to I'm going to say seven, but I'm going to go back and count, and that includes the first. Oh, that's ridiculous. I can't think of anything. Then, I can't think of anything. You have the parts, You have the parts and can prove that they're not Viking. I have all the parts in my garage. I had to promise appliants guy put them together. They're not OEM, right, they're not OEM. Who cares if they're OEM?
It simply didn't fix it, right, I mean, who really cares well, because if you're a Viking approved appliance or Thermidor or all of those, you pledged to use a e m Yeah, but is he saying he is that? Yeah, Miking? They show a Viking authorized repair guy on their list, you know, see look at I say, okay, they're a Viking repair shop at mister plants. Have them come over and if they maybe if if on an invoice it's says you wave, you wave that and you
want to save money. Maybe. I don't know if any invoices say they're going to use an aftermarket part. I think it's a very complicated argument. The guy can't fix it seven times, I think is a problem with it not I don't care what parts he used. And then to goost the guy, Yes, Kelly, did you call him? All right? Hold on? I want to go to Victor because Victor is I have a special sympathy for Victor. Victor, go ahead, what's going on? Victor? Oh?
I get some question about that company, the q Sekinetic. I already have a place of one on my knees, and I get a lot of pain in their one. And after go for the next one. I want to know it that thing and they do it in work or not? Okay, the QC kinetics is regenerative therapy. Okay, now that I know,
I don't know a lot about QC kinetics. Okay. Usually when they say regenerative medicine, what they mean is PRP or stem cells or worse, what they call stem cells, which are really donated fluid shipped into the clinic where there's virtually no stem cells. It does have some regenerative properties, but in what all I'm saying is this depending on what they actually use. And they're very very very sketchy on their website. They don't tell you exactly what it
is. Okay, so they don't they don't say anything. I'm looking at it zero. That's right, Mark, here's my fruit juice. Here's my first rule of thumb. If someone or clinic or doctor or healthcare professional is not one hundred percent transparent on absolutely everything, avoid them. That means they need to do a sales job when you get there. For example, denverregen dot com, they're stem cells, real stem cells. I went there.
They pulled the stem cells out of my hip bone marrow and they put it back in my back, which by the way, gave me extraordinary results. Now I want to be fully transparent. I did go on to have back surgery after that, but I will tell you this, I almost didn't do it because I was so much better from the stems. Here's the thing, though, I want to make this clear. There's just so much stem cells can do. They can't. Like, for example, Mike just had his
hip done, They're not going to rebuild his hip. It could take away a lot of the pain and maybe make it more tolerable. But if it is truly that far gone, you're not going to regenerate anything. It's a certain amount of healing your body can do. Mike, did you did you consider stems? Yeah? I went and looked at it. At an evaluation. It was just too far gone. Literally, bone on bone. There was no place to put on Carla jacon Qui, Right. So anyway,
I want to know something. Are you considering this for what part of your body? The knees? Okay, is it bone on bone? Have you had any X rays or MRIs or anything. Yeah, it's already bone with bone. Well there, yeah, I don't think stems. Listen, stem cells they will give you a certain amount of relief, depending on if there's tiny nerves in there that that need to be guarded. But it's not. Bone on bone is just not something. If you call call Denver region,
or call a stem a genuine stem cell clinic. And here's how you know it's genuine. They take the fat cells from your body and reinject them. Never use stem cell therapy that ships fluids into the clinic and calls them stem cells. They are not stem cells. Well, if it's bone on bone, am I not crazy? There is no cartilage, there's nothing to rebuild or that's right, You're right, You're right. It's not gonna work. That's right, Victor. You may have to bite the bullet and get surgery.
Yeah, because about three years ago they cut my miniscuits in that area. Well, they repaired the meniscus and when you say cut it, they smooth it out. If there's a if there. It's kind of like they do on a windshield. They keep it from ripping and they keep and they smooth it out to cut and take any little pieces out for the pain. But that has nothing to do with the knee joint. Very little to do with the knee joint. In fact, a lot of meniscus will repair on
its own. In fact, in a recent study they they found that meniscus surgery repair is overdone or has been overdone, not kneed joints. Now, have you been to a good orthopedic surgeon, Victor? No? Not really? Okay, you need to go to a good orthopedic surgeon. That's what you really need to do if you're bone on bone. And again, I'm not throwing stones at QC Kinetics. I don't know enough about them to throw
stones, but I will tell you this. When you go to a website that gives you zero information, like Mark said, they could be talking about orange juice. Did you say that or something? Mark? Yeah, it's ridiculous. You look at most it says like a therapeutic healing technique. I mean, what the hell is that? That could be a happy ending? No, you know what, Mark they have, You're you're right, very there's no information whatsoever none, So that that just tells me to stay away
right there. Now, Okay, there's some other people that advertise. Now I don't want to get into it, but okay, there's some other people that advertise that may keep information back because they don't want to scare people away. Like there are certain clinics that offer help for ed erectile dysfunction, and the reason they may not give all the information is because people will assume the worst and they won't go in and try it. Now, and again,
I don't want to make jokes about this. I don't want to make fun of people. And and I haven't been a member or a patient, and I'm not saying I would never be. But here's what I'm saying is that
the reason for that is it's a it's a penis injection. Now, I would tell you if I went on the air and advertise, come to my clinic for men for a rectile dysfunction and I'm going to teach you, or I'm going to show you a technique and supply you with injectibles so you can inject your penis and get an erection, I don't think anyone would ever show up that ever horrifying, Okay, But if I said, hey, you know what there are there are things available and we can show you and if
it doesn't work, there's no charge, you know. And again I'm not saying it's right or wrong to withhold information, but I think that's necessary in certain areas. I mean, otherwise, what the hell I mean people, you know, they want to get a chance to explain something when it comes to regenerative medicine. I don't think there is any reason now we are going to We're still investigating. We're still investigating Marie's problem with the eviction on the
mobile home and Tom, we're still investigating this. You know that appliance wanted to be quite honest, Let's think about it over the break. And by the way, if people go to YouTube dot com type in Troubleshooter network, you can hear us talk during the break. But here's what I think we should do. If this guy, I believe every bit of what Tom's saying. I think they did come out five to ten times, and I think they did ghost them. Now, Kelly said, whoever they talk to the
customer service rep will pass it on to the owner. I think we I think we start blowing them up after the break. Why because well, because when I don't believe a damn word they're saying seven times they were out there, now they won't answer the phone in the CSR. You know, so what I'll go ahead, Here's what we have to make of mark. We have to make sure that we don't screw up the good franchise that might have
the same name. So let's do that. When we hear back, we'll make a difference and then renew Home Innovations for your beautiful, beautiful tub conversions to showers, take out that ugly thing you have to step over, no thresholds to walk or trip up. We love these guys, uh serving Denver and that's eight eight eight Heating dot Com and uh, speaking of that, we also have another company on from the Springs to Castle Rock and that's a Smith Plumbing, heating and cooling and electric. And do you
do the high efficiency units? They're really the rage right now. A lot of people say, if I'm going to bite the bullet, I want that high efficiency. What do they have up up to a ninety eight percent? Now? Yeah, so we we do about forty percent of our installs with the high efficiency furnaces. But now what people are doing is dual fuel. They're adding the heat pump. Yeah, I know. So now we have the you know, the twenty four ceear heat pump with a ninety eight furnace
and I don't know they're there. Their fuel bills are one third, you know, Garrett over at the eight eight eight Heating, I'm not Yeah, they do it. They do a good operation, like you guys. I mean, they're really straightforward, they do. And he said a lot of people are opting for that heat pump. Why is that? They're not cheaper to run? Are they? If you have solar, they're a no brainer. Uh, there's a two thousand dollars federal tax credit right now heat pump.
So if we do a heat pump and a narrow seal, it's four grand of attack credit. What Yeah, what's an arrowsoom? That's where they come in and we clean the ducks and then we seal them. Most stocks have anywhere from the twenty We can get a tax credit on that. Yeah. Hey, why aren't we advertising this for I mean not? I mean you you are, you're you do it, but these other guys haven't talked about it. Maybe they don't do the aerow ceiling do a lot? Do
most HVAC companies do that or not? Not? Not? What is it involved? So you hook up all the you pressurize the duck system. Yeah, it's a computerized system. Ye. It tells you what your duck leakage is and it equates it to us a hole in your hair. How do you seal it? Uh? It atomizes glue. It's a non toxic, and it goes where the leaks are, where the escapingly where the leaks are
escaping under your duck work at it's got to be kidding. No. It was developed out of California about twenty five years ago, so it's not new technology, but it's uh, it's the machine, the machine and the machine and true. So what do you call it? Erowsieel aero see look at it up on con Tom. All right, So anyway, let's go back to the phones here. And I want to remind you, mister appliance.
They I said, seventy for sixty seven hundred bucks they charged Tom. I got through to an executive there and the message is going to be sent up. We're going to see what happens. And I don't mean locally, I mean at their national level. Okay, the Parker franchise has charges set sixty seven hundred bucks to work on his fancy schmancy refrigerator. And uh, hey, why do you think of people? What do you think of people that
have refrigerators like that? I'm just curious, Tom. I like refrigerators like that because they last forever. The Viking and Thermidor. They are really worth the money. Not all, by the way, not all refrigerators with the fancy well and sub zero is they They Mark, some of those can wrestler's last twenty years or more? Wow? So how do you fault it? Man? I mean, you know to me and Mark, you're ranking a little joke because you knew I talked about my thermidor or the other. You
just had yours repaired. Yeah, for one hundred and eighty bucks on a Sunday. Think about that. If this guy would have told me three grand for a compressor, I wouldn't have known what to do, right he could. He had me, like, you know, on a hook on a sunday. You know, if you didn't call good thing, you didn't call mister appliance. Oh no, I know it, holy cramp. I'm wondering man, what it turned out to You know, Tom, what did it
turn out to be? By the way, okay, they the other company that came in and fixed it. What did it actually turn out to be? Who's actually to replace all those parts of the compressor? And he had to tear out everything else? He said, what did you need a new compressor? I did? How old is that it stuck in? How old is that Viking? I'm making fifteen years? Yeah? But but Tom, you don't know. Hold on, Tom, the caller. You don't know if you needed a new one. You called this guy out this the place
we're talking about, and they sold you a new one. How do you know you even needed it? Fifty degrees? Well, that's correct. I rely on the expertise of rank solid. There's only two. We've already proof that mister Appliance has no expertise, because seven times later they still haven't fixed it. My point is you might have only needed next to nothing, Ambassador. So it could have been the starting their capacitor. It could have been
the coil. It could have been the coil, could have been the compressor. It could have been. But you know, at fifteen years a compressor's old. I don't know who knows, I mean, who really knows? Do you have the old compressor? By the way, Tom, I don't have the old one. I have the one that mister Appliance put in, that was in that was incorrect, and that Hong Kong flewey one. Oh
wait a minute, Oh wait a minute. It was mister Appliance who told you you needed it, then I agree that was That's what we agree with. Mark. I'll bet you, I'll bet you didn't need it to begin with but that's ship that sailed the nine times they came out as well. So I counted him all up April seven, nine times. How much did the new company charge you? All? Said? And done? Tom,
Hey, they were forty seven ninety one. And he said, Tom, it would have been a thirty seven hundred dollars bill to refurbish this and keep it running for the next fifteen years. But I had to spend an extra thousand dollars to take out all the old stuff, fix the repairs of the some of the stuff that was done to undo the damage. Yes, sir, so I'm you know, by the time I'm done, I'm like, well that's almost five grand and there's seven over here. I mean, how
do I So? I got a perspective from Mike Robinson from Smith Plumbing, Heating, Cool Electric. I said, Mike, what are you doing something like this? He says, you waste money going out that many times? What would you have done? Mike, No, if we couldn't have got it and it doesn't happen, But if you couldn't have fixed this damn thing, and how many times, well it does happen? Oh it does?
You know? We will go out and for whatever reason we can't get it fixed, we'll rEFInd one hundred percent of the money, plus give the customer, depending on how big the bills was, five hundred dollars for the inconvenience. Gosh, that's the difference between how it's done right and how it's done off the cuff. Hey, Liz, what's going on with you? Hi? Liz? Today is apply and stay. Not really, but go ahead, Liz. Oh no, okay, I'm sorry, Liz. She had
a think. Liz, if you're listening, call us back. We want to take care of that. She had an issue with parts for a washer. You know, applians prepaired by the way stuff. Mark, I gotta have you call that other guy that came to the house on a Sunday because we need good appliance and we do have. I looked, you gave me the guy's company name. No such, okay, no, no, no, I'll give you his number and all that. You know. Here's the
deal, man, Having having good, dependable people is so important. Look, man, if you know I need to say something, that guy could have been the best guy in the world, and according to you, he was. And the story's great. There's an automotive repair shop. I know about it's great. But when people hear the name and they google it and they don't even have a website, usually that's the end of days right there. I know we have to help our case That's who he's talked about Romance
like they're not even real. At that point, Romondo's like, hey, here's another thing with a I just want to say it like it is Mark because we were totally transparent our Casey Automotive Romando is a wonderful, wonderful guy, great shop, great reviews, great people. They love him. But here's the deal. He doesn't have a website. He's on Facebook, but he doesn't have a website. We got to help him there. The other thing is people, a lot of times I didn't know this, they google
them for location to look at the place. Did you know that they want to look Is that important to look at the place. But with a car repair shop or a retail store or something or a restaurant, they want to look at the place. So what comes up on his address is his house next to a shop or a house next to a shop. The shop is really beautiful, The shop's beautiful, But on Google, when it comes up
on that address. It comes up, it doesn't show the shop, you know, so, but really, one thing I can tell you, when we've sent people there, they absolutely love them. So that's just a free plug for our Case Automotive. And he's on I should just finish it. He's on West Evans or yeah, he's on Evans, just west of teahone and it's our case C Automotive. Yes, okay, so let's talk about
your problems, questions and complaints coming up. Because here's the deal. When you're in a mobile home being evicted, there better be a good reason. Mark tends to think there probably is a good reason. Marie said, her boy's never been in trouble and he was just accused of having a ski mask and harassing this other kid. Do you need more than that? I'd like to know what they said on the eviction notice. Well, I have a message. I have a message into the attorney. So I finally got through
to the park itself. They said, because it was turned over to an attorney. He's in court. Hopefully I hear back from him and get their side to the story. But yeah, honestly, whether it was her kid or not, it drives me insane thinking. There's a teen running around with a ski mask, mugging younger kids for their sneakers. Someone's parents need to step up, whether it's her or not. Someone needs to rein in this kid, because pretty soon it's going to be a ski mask, a gun,
and armed robbery. Now, Marie, Marie, I want to ask you a couple questions because we would like to help you if truly this is a miscarriage of justice. But I want to When I asked it, has your kid he's thirteen, ever been in trouble? You said? Not here? So can you just we don't know your last name, We don't know you know anything about you other than this, and we want to get some information. What were Can you give me an example of the other trouble he
has been in and how old he was because he's thirteen now? Just school related like what just not going to school? Not doing okay? But not he He did not have any assault or any kind of bullying charges. No, what's the dad think of all this? Honestly we don't really talk too much. His dad is more lenient. I'm not. And what Marie, do you guys know? So as soon as they told me like I took after this is we take him to jail because I don't condone this type of
behavior. And ever since they have came to told me, told me about it, I sent him back with his dad. Oh so he's with his dad. Yes, So I've been cooperating. And like I told officer, you know, like, will they let you live there if they know he doesn't live there anymore? Well, that's why I offered. I said, if he's not living here, I don't see the problem. And they had said yeah, But because he came and got cment his self, they're like, oh, well he's on the property. But they never agreed to it.
Like the lawyer never got back with me. He never It's like I talked to him once. No, I know what you're saying. You're saying you're willing to have him live with his dad just because you can't afford to move. Hold on. Ye, And we're gonna still we're going to try to hear from these people. Three oh three seven, one, three eight two five five, Hey, listen. Probid Energy is another solar company. We love. Probid Energy dot com. They're doing systems netting out after credits

Hi Tom Martino, your troubleshooter three O three seven one three you talk three all three seven one three eight two five five. Let's continue here on the phones. So, uh Rondolin I think is the Rondolin? What's happening with you? And by the way, we have room for
other calls as well. Three all three seven one three a two five five And don't forget to pass three h three Martino around to call about anything at any time and leave your message. We'll go back to you, Rondolin. You called last year, wasn't it last year? Yes? The ending, the last part of all. I believe. I'm trying to find your Uh did you use the name Rondolin? Oh? Yeah, it was okay. I just want to make sure I have it because I okay. So anyway,
what's going on with you? Well, I first want to say thank you for your call to be your repair body shop, A Perfect Touch. After you got involved, they wanted to release my car like right away, although I was having problems for almost a year. So I want to thank you for that. And that's the follow up part of my call today.
Well, thanks, So you were able, Rondeling. You had the lexus right, yes, yes, and as I remember, as I remember from this call, note here one hundred and seventy four thousand miles and then you it was estimated at thirty five hundred dollars and then you spent ten grand. I don't that's what the repair costs from the insurance from A Perfect Touch would have been. Oh but yeah, prior to that that that wasn't the estimate
that I initially received. Oh, after you told him about insurance, he raised the price, right, that's right, that's right, that's correct. Yeah, okay. So that car, by the way, are you driving it? No, it was deemed a total loss. And while it was on the property, I guess from what the jester said, a rat or a squirrel choose my wires, I'm assuming from the car just sitting out on them. So where did where did that? Did you ever get paid from
insurance on it? Yes? I did, okay, yeah, after the after the call from you, the insurance company was able to pay me for the car. How much? Oh that's like twelve hundred dollars? Oh my god? Yeah? Was that even enough to pay the loan off? Exactly? I didn't have a loan on the oh the time. Yeah, thank god. So anyway, where do we stand today? What can we do
to help you? Okay? I a couple of friends that initially told me that I should call you, along with the fact that I remember my grandmother watching me like back in the day, they were like, well, you know, yeah, yous, come on like right after the dinner. I know, I know, it's just funny because most that's what most young women say, you know what. They come up to me and say, my grandmother loves you. Anyway, So go ahead, Rondolin and and so what
did they say, are you looking for a car? I am again that car only six hundreds of those were made. I had like a really shoot up engine, and I took care of the car. It was a black interior, chrome pedals and all that. The chrome baw for the transmission. Yeah, it was really nice. I bought it from a client that I
worked very very very very hard for. And so the reason I was calling back today I have been contemplating, Like I mean, I was under the impression that my car is going to be repaired, but then when it was actually doomed a total loss, like I I don't even know. Like, as a small business owner, it's hard to get approved for purchases if there's been like a stop in your income. And obviously from the accident and everything, there was to stop in my income. So what do you need help
with today? What do you need help with buying a new car or getting another car? Yes? Either, but really, some of people that I talked to you, they were like, well, you should have asked if he could start you to go fund me page. I don't really know exactly how that works. Okay, now go fund me is started. Here's how it's done. You would start to go fundme, Paige, okay, and then you would give your story, like some people would say, like you know, I'm this age, I'm disabled, or I have a child,
or I can't do this or I do this. They give their story. Usually it is a hard luck story of some kind and I need help. Can you help me? And then people donate. And then what we do is we if people have a GoFundMe and we think that, you know, they sincerely need help, we put out the word and try to help them. That's what we do. Now. I don't see it getting any traction
in this circumstance, well, because there's no special circumstances. What you're saying, Yeah, there's no I mean, come on, there's people that need like a kidney. I'm in comparison to that. There's no comparison. That's what I'm saying. I just don't see people just But what he's saying is usually if you look at GoFundMe dot com and look at the stories, they're usually pretty extenuating circumstances. But that doesn't mean weak. But that doesn't mean
we can't help you. If you have Do you have any credit whatsoever? I had my credit round a couple of times in it it wasn't that great, Like what is it? I'm it's like under six hundred? Well okay, so it's under six hundred. Yeah, okay, and that's by here, that's by here. You know, I'll pay here is stuff. So but but you're going to by the way, you're in perfect position to be victimized, so you better be careful. Oh so you have how much money
of that? Do you still have any of that? Twelve hundred dollars? Oh no, I don't, to be honest, So you have what have you been doing for transportation up till now? Uber? Putting guys in my friends cars so when their tank says taking them out to dinner, to take me wherever I need to go? So kind of Oh god, So do you work, Rondlin? Yes, I have a small cleaning business that I've had for the hell do you do a cleaning business? You use Uber or
lyft? It hasn't been easy again, my car has been down for it was down for over a year. So fortunately I had the same client so I was able to have them pick me up pretty much. Pick me up dropped me off and then uber and again pained putting gas in my hen let me just tell you the challenge here, Rondlyn, And we did this once before. Okay, even if we even if we could manage to find you a car, it's not just the price of the car, but it's plates,
insurance, all of that garbage. I mean, it's really hard to go to get transportation. I mean, it's hard to get housing. Look, we all know life is rough, okay, unless you get over that hump. It's really hard. And you suffered a you know, a setback because your car was your car ended up getting wrecked. Uh, not wrecked, but well yeah it was. Wasn't it an accident? Yeah? Okay, now within two months? Yeah, so yeah it was. It was a fitback so financially but me. Yeah, So what we need to do
is check and see if anybody has any cars to begin with. But you don't have any money, so we don't even if we got a car donated. I mean and once in a while we have people, really we do who want to donate an old car. I mean, we do. It happens, and you know, it's a look. Transportation is one of the primary needs for people to get on their feet and small business owners to of course, you know, Rondolin. I just saw a movie last night.
It was a short documentary. It was it was called I'm bringing this up for a reason. It was called The Barber of Little Rock. In Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a barber and made good money and then started teaching others how to be a barber. And then he says, you know what, he met people like you. He met people all over his community on the wrong side of the tracks they called it who mostly a minority community, but there were some poor white people too, and just uneducated. And
what he realized was all they needed was a hand up. They needed a hand up, and he did not know what to do. So he started gathering other people who had money to do micro loans to people who needed just small help. And he didn't go by credit. He went by interviews and by helping them and eventually opened up something called People's Trust, which has helped the federal government helps and it grants help. And he now does this for
the entire community and he helps them get on their feet. I wish we had something like that micro loans for people who need help, because That's exactly what we're talking about. You said, I'm a business owner, and so many people have the effort and the desire to do well, but they can't get over that hump. So I mean, how much are we talking about anyway? So if you needed a car, what are we talking about that?
You know? Like, have you even shopped for a car? Oh, I've been shopping for my car ever since it got right and there? How'd you get the first one? You bought it from somebody you worked for. I bought it from a client who she was looking to sell the vehicle, so I gave her two thousand dollars two thousand dollars in a cash check. Where'd you get the brand? Where'd you get the two? I loaned it from a small agency, a business agency that does actually micro loans.
And did you pay that back? Honestly, I am not going to lie. I didn't, wow, and it's not because I didn't want to. They stopped accepting my payments and it made it hot. I have no clue because you skipped a few Nope, I did not at the time. At the time, I recurrent and I was having trouble getting my payments process to my balance. So that's that's why I got true there. And then on
top of that two thousand I worked. I did forty six cleanings at one hundred dollars each to go along with the price of the self price from a client. Rondalin, what do you do you you do it all on your own, this cleaning business. But do you have primarily just one client? I used to have. More recently I just had the one. Yes, does it make you a living? How do you pay rent? It doesn't? I mean I would like to have more clients, to be honest,
but yeah, there's still some struggles. To be honest, there's still some struggles. But it's fe Are you managing to pay your regular bills every month? I have been, Ronalin, I want to I want to kitchen to
do me a favor. Would you take your name and number? I want people hearing this not just now live but on the stream if they have ideas or and I'm serious when I say this, would like to make a loan or help her, or if you have a car to donate, And I'll talk to some of my people to see if they have a card to donate. I mean, look at I don't take them go ahead, Ronald,
Okay, thank you. So I recently graduated from a Smam Michael Finance Institute class, and from this institute, like not market Finance, I made two small loans from them, one for five hundred, one for twenty five hundred, and I take them both back in the year. So when my business does slow down, I actually go work for GPS for peak season and I did that for five years. Ronalin, you don't sound you don't sound like you're making excuses or deadbeat or anything. You sound like you want to get
ahead. It's just difficulty. Listen. But I'm telling you something. Okay. It really inspired me seeing this movie last night because I was thinking, I was thinking of getting a bunch of people together that I know serious. I'm not. I'm really serious in doing micro loans for people who just need to step up. And will we get burned. I'm sure we will now and then, but I'm wondering if maybe that can be our part and and I'm really considering it, and if there's anyone interested, let me know.
It's not a money making thing at all. It's gonna break even, uh you know, but but I want to try to do this for a lot of people because sometimes look, we run across all kinds of people have stories, and they wouldn't pay back alone if their life dependent on They don't give a damn. They want money, they want drugs, they want alcohol. Then there are some people that want to get their business going and just want to step up. So just leave your name in number and let's see if

Hi Tom Martino, here, we got room for your calls at three O three seven one three talks seven one three eight two five five. Welcome to the only show of its kind
anywhere and we're waiting for calls on mister Appliance in Parker. Charge the guy's sixty seven hundred bucks after market parts, no repair, It worked like crap. They had another company come out and said, look, everything they did was wrong. You got zero value. Then they fixed it for four grand. We have to find out what the hell is going on with mister Appliance
in Parker. The reason I say mister Appliance in Parker is because it is a franchise in Parker and I don't want to cast dispersions on every one of the mister Appliances. So we also have Mike Robinson with us from Smith Plumbing, Heat and Cooling Electric, and we've had some really good discussions on this, including something that I didn't know. You can get tax credits for sealing your duct work. It's probably the number one cost effect the improvement in reducing
energy costs in your line. Is there really that much that escapes from a duck? So on average time we see twenty five to thirty five percent. Doug Leakitgeon come on twenty five to thirty five percent. Some some newer homes that are only five to eight years old, we've seen forty percent plus and when we call the we don't do new homes. So when we call the uh, you know, I called the inspector, the head inspector and the homes. I said, how are you allowing duck systems and new homes to
be so? Why do they leak? Where do they leak? At the corners? Those little ones where they don't? They come pre made nowadays? These ducks, no, you still install them. You still the sheet metal duck work is still they don't bend and build right there. Part of the issue TOOM is when we get in there is there's there's duct connections that aren't even connected. So we pressurize the duck system and we'll find we sometimes have to cut a hole in the wall and we'll see that one of the return
one of the supplies was never even connected to the boot. All right, So you find the and seal and what kind of a credit is available off to how much? So for are you kid like a solar system? Yeah? So yards about three grand for to do the whole thing, the duck cleaning first, then the ceiling. And they'll get on that to get nine hundred dollars back as a tax credit, and they save Yeah. There's two
parts to it. One is it puts the air coming from your heater air conditioner in the room it was meant to be in, rather than leaking all the way to the room. So the comfort increases tremendously, as well as the reduction in the cycle times of your equipment because it doesn't have to run twenty five to thirty five percent more just to deliver the same heat into the the living space. First and foremost, I want to explain something about service contracts and invoices. This guy had somebody come do his refrigerator and they were out of Parker, called mister Appliance.
It's a franchise in Parker, and mister Appliance charged him sixty seven hundred dollars in repairs for his Viking refrigerator built in but never ever fixed it. They also removed the refrigerator and damaged his cabinetry and did some other things. Another company was called to come in and they said, first and foremost, these are made so you can work on everything on the top compressor and you
don't have to remove the refrigerator. And also every single part they put in there were after market and in our opinion, defected and nothing they did was correct nothing. So he spent sixty seven hundred dollars for nothing. Then he spent forty seven with that new company who fixed it. He's pleased. So the point is this, When you get an invoice for something and they keep adding to it, part of that's your fault. You got to at some
point say, wait a minute, what's wrong here. So if a company on your car, or on your appliance, or on anything says you need this widget, then on the invoice what you put on there is need this widget to stop noise and restore temperature. That's what you do. You see, you don't just let him say what you need, but you put down what it will do. Now you've created a contract and you make that guy
sign it right there, the tech and you sign it. And if they go, well, wait a minute, we don't have a place on our iPad to do that, well that's tough crap. If it involves I'm not talking about a full replacement. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about replacing a component or a part. So if he did that with this mister appliance. And he first of all, when you replace the compressor, how the hell does that not fix it? That's the first thing they did.
If you replace the compressor, it has to tell you it wasn't theres So what did he spend that money for? So then they probably did the starting relay, which he should have tried first, and a whole bunch of other things. So what I'm getting at is you create a little contract on that invoice. Like when they say with your car, we're going to change the serpentine belt to get rid of that noise, then you're going to say serpentine
belt to eradicate noise. Now here's the deal. Maybe you do need a part that doesn't contribute to the symptom, so you might have a noise that's not coming from the belt. But you shouldn't have to pay for their hunting and pecking. So if you know you need something that's different, where's the belt worn out? Or where's this part bad? Can I have the old part? You need something to show because many times if you go in with
a car that's older, you might have more than one problem. You might have four or five, and maybe of the four or five things that are wrong. Only one of them will eradicate that noise or that grinding, but you still have the other things wrong. So just because they fix something and the symptom doesn't go away, doesn't mean you didn't need it. However, if you're looking only for that symptom to be eradicated, you make it very clear to them that I don't care what other things I need. What I
want is to do away with this and put it on the invoice. Now, we also had a woman call Anyone to sell a car and did she hang up? Do we have a number to call back, because that's a really important call. Yes, we do, Tom, We're going to get her back. We have her number, and I've already passed it on to Rondo. Well way before we do that, I want to know more about this, so Ronda doesn't fall for two hundred and fifty thousand miles on a
Subaru what the hell. I want to know what kind of repairs they did in all of that, And then I want to know if they're willing to finance the thing. That would be cool. No no, no, no, no no. Here was her offer. Man, it was kind of crazy. She wanted to know if any of our listeners wanted to buy it, then if they bought it, they could donate it to the lady. Cor I know that part. I know that part what she's saying. I mean, I could do the same thing. I want to know to that
poor lady too. No, I know that. And then what she was saying though, what six or seven thousand for it for two hundred and fifty thousand miles. That car might be worth twelve hundred or fifteen hundred. It's ten years old and has two hundred and fifty thousand miles. So I want to warn the person we just put in touch with her. I mean, that's what I wanted to do. I didn't want to just you know, I don't want Ronalin believing that this is the car we're recommending. Gary.
Welcome to the show. Our lines are open at three three seven one three talk. Also remember to call three oh three Martino for help at any time. Now, Gary, what's going on? A couple of weeks ago, I had an accident, kind of went an accident. Run oh ok, a car accident. What happened? Car accident? Yeah, and a semi. I was on the inside lane turning left and he was on the outside lane. He cut his turn short and took hit the side of my car. And did he take off? He took off. He didn't even know
he hit me. It was that's what I thought. Twenty pounds and hit the side of the car. So anyway, I tried to follow him, got a picture of his truck and called the police. It was Greenwood Village. She took about a week to finally get a hold of the people that were doing the damage. And wait a minute, what do you mean the
people doing the damage? Was this a company truck? It was at least truck from a lease company, okay, And they leased the truck, and then they have a trucking company, so I so it was leased to a truck It was leased to a trucking company. That's correct. Okay. So one trucking company owns it and the second trucking company leased it. Okay, okay, yes, okay. So finally I was able to get in touch with the their insurance company. Who's insurance company? Who's insurance The trucking company's
insurance company got one that hit me. They had insurance on the truck. Who was the insurance company? Progressive and they took about a week to get in touch with a dry The driver says he didn't do it. So at that point, all right, hold on, Gary, this is gonna get complicated. I want to I want to hear you out. So they said, the guy just simply denied it. All right, if we can,

Thank you very much, Mike. And then you don't have to run out right now, but I know you were going to leave in a few minutes. So Gary, let's talk here about this car accident. And so you said you were hit by a semi and it was in such a way they were cutting, they were turning. He doesn't remember doing it, or he said he didn't do it. You that what's that, sir? He said he didn't feel Yeah, yeah, yeah, And I can see where that could happen. When did when did this happen? By the way, about
two weeks ago? Okay, so two weeks ago? Then when you that day though you reported it, is that true? No? The next day I report okay, Well that's good. So the next day you reported it to the Greenwood Village Police correct, okay, And then you gave the information, the number and all of that. The license plate number. Well, I couldn't read the license plate, but I gave him the truck and I'm okay, good, oh got it. So and they said it was a
truck least to a trucking company. Correct. When you contacted their insurance, they say, they say they're not paying a dime. How much damage was done? I don't know. I'm going to go in and get an estimate tomorrow. What does it look like? I like, bad, major stuff or minor? No minor? But do they ever know whether they're going to want to replace a fender or whether it can be repaired to Wait? How old is your car? It's a two thousand and five two thousand and five,
one thousand miles. It's the one owner truck. I've owned it my entire life. What kind of car? What kind of truck? It's a cheap Grand Cherokee. Okay, so listen, here's the dilemma. All right, what do you do? And I'm going to talk to Jeremy over a compass insurance because this is not the first time this has happened, jere me. What does an insurance company do when the people simply say, I was not in this accident, it did not happen. I don't remember it,
I don't recall it, I never felt it. You know, what do they do? What does an insurance company do? Yeah, it could be cased by case. I mean sometimes if the evidence is there, they're gonna pay it because they know, you know, ultimately, Yeah, but what would the evidence be though he ran after the truck and took a picture that was it, he doesn't have it happening and he doesn't have any other witnesses. Yeah, and in cases like that, they might not pay, you
know. So I mean, whether there's a police report on site, if there's witnesses, you know, the story of the other person obviously, if they're saying they didn't happen. But you know, because it goes both ways, Like obviously I believe this caller, but people could call in all the time and say, hey, you're insured his right and it didn't happen, So it right, it goes both ways on that. So so is he out of luxe? They just simply said, hey, it never happened.
I would. I mean, no, he's not a luck. I mean if he has physical damage on his policy, that's the easiest way to handle this is to just put the claim in under his insurance. They're going to fix it for him, and then let them subrogate and fight it out with that other insurance company. He gets his car fixed, but he has a five. Do you even have insurance that'll cover this? Do you have collision? I have full coverage. Well that's a good idea. Why don't you
put it in with your insurance since you have collision coverage? Well, I haven't had an accident in fifty years. I don't. Hey, Jeremy, if this guy hasn't had an accident in fifty years and he claims this collision thing, will they believe him if he says he's not at fault in it with someone else? How do they deal with that? Yeah? A lot of times on that they can see kind of the damage on his car.
That's the difference is they could come out and see his car, whereas the other insurance company isn't bothering to look at the damage of the truck that hit him, and they can kind of figure out you know what happened, if he's at fault or not. If he's not at fault and he was hit, that's not a chargeable accident or a chargeable yeah accident. So there's no reason not to in this sense because it's a lot easier than continuing to fight
an insurance company that's not willing to do anything for you. Another thing you can do here thinking about taking him the small claims court, Well you can, but well, here's what you have to do. You have to go get some estimates and find out the real damage. Then you have to take the driver to small claims core. I don't think the owner you would take the small claims court, although you can serve the driver as a John Doe at that driver's place, I think, at that company. But here's the
deal. You still have a level of proof. What proof do you have? Just the pictures and the fact that he just kept going and where Yeah, but but there's no fact. No, no, no, you said the fact that he kept going. Where are the photos taking at the point of impact? No, they're taken. I had to catch up to the truck and take them on the highway. Well, okay, but you could have caught up to any truck. Gary, there's a matter of proof. By the way, if ever dash cams were needed, this would be the
perfect example. That would have been a great one. The situation, though, is you know he kept going because he didn't realize he'd had an accident. I guess, and I do have pictures. I'm sure that he's got some kind of GPS system or whatever that can tell where he was when this accident occurred. I don't think so. It doesn't work that way. I think I don't think they track each and every minute of each and every day. Maybe they do, But he was at that location at that time.
Wouldn't that prove something? It would prove that he was at that location at that time. You needed somebody to see it, or you needed a dash camera. I mean, Jeremy, really and truly. I mean, an insurance company is not going to pay just on one person's word. Yeah, I mean his company might, but the other party, yeah, I mean, if the other person's like, no, I didn't get in an accident,
he's saying they did, it's tough. I mean, obviously, though, Hey, Jeremy, I think the better I think the better thing for this to do is like we said before you put it through your own insurance. He's saying, I haven't had an accident in fifty years. Well, if it's not at fault, what's that even matter. It's not going to it's not going to apply against his driver's license. That's right. Yeah, I mean, here's a file. Your insurance won't go up based upon that.
It may go up because everything in the world is going up right now, but not based on that. Is that correct, Jeremy, That is correct? Mark correct? Yeah, so that's really the best advice Laans court. And I didn't win, then could I turn that into my insurance company? Yeah? You could do that, Yeah, you could. You're going to probably have a harder time for them not wanting to charge you if if
you didn't win it. I mean obviously in a case where you were at fault in that small claims court, then you know your insurance might also treat it as a not it or as an adphult accident. If it's just that's right, you can't. How are you going to track down this driver anyhow? I mean, let's get real. You have no idea who he is. Yeah, the Greenwood police officers got he gave me his name, good
name of the truck, good company and everything. The only problem I have is that I went to the Colorado state and their trucking company doesn't have a a person to receive the registered agent. I never registered on what's the name of the state. What's the name of it? The name of the what trucking company? Uh? Superwoman's Trucking. Now listen, Gary, the driver, you would serve the driver anyway. I don't know if you would go after the company or maybe both. I don't know. But here's the deal.
Here's the deal. The bottom line is you're going to have a tough time with proof still. And what I think Jeremy said. What Jeremy said is maybe you know it's better to say you have a hit and run, and they run a hit and run and they refuse to cooperate. It's Janet Rimairez is a registered agent. I mean that took me literally five seconds. Really yeah, Janet. But so you're going to serve You're going to serve both the driver. You're going to serve both the driver and the company.
And all you're going to use is your word, right, Okay, good luck. I want you to call me back. Let me know one more question. Okay, can you hold on and I'll take you really, but just hang on. I gotta take this break. I'm Tom Martino. He's got one more question. We got more coming up on the Troubleshooter Show. Let's keep Jeremy just in case. Go with a sure thing Denver's best roofer

Hi Tom Martino, you're
a troubleshooter. Three oh three seven one three talk three oh three seven one three eight two five five. Welcome to the show. Let's talk, Gary, is another question about a car accident? I have Jeremy from Compass Insurance group. You know you are always challenging. Go ahead, Gary, if I was going to sue them in small claims, what county would I where the accident took place in where I live, or where the truck is, where the trucking company is, where the trucking company is? Okay, yeah,
Ramarrez is the name of the driver too? Oh maybe he owns his own Okay, it could be he owns his own company. And on the form on the small claims forum you can put the company name. Then the second defendant and used his name. Okay, very cool, Gary, Now, Jeremy, thank you Gary. We can let you go. Jeremy,
I have a question for you. Sure, what do you do? There's another thing that companies often say, not often, but we've heard it through the years, and I know we've talked about it, where they say there is no coverage because our insured refuses to cooperate with us. I mean, how far can they take that? I mean, if it was a serious accident and they say, are insured refuses to cooperate, If you had independent proof and all of that, do you need Do you even need anyone's cooperation?
No? Ultimately, the insurance company just can decide on its own to take liability or very goobility for their insured. Now, really responsible companies don't look for excuses to get out of it. They might look for ways to reduce the loss, but very seldom are they going to walk away from their actual obligation. Don't you find that true? Jeremy, Yeah, for sure.
And I think like in a case where you know, this is a tough This is a tough one because, like I said before, you know, if you just got a call from your insurance company saying, hey, we paid out for this accident, and you said, what are you talking about. I wasn't in an accident, And because someone called in and said
you hit them, you know that that that's also problematic. So these these can be difficult, and certainly if you're on the callers end of it, it's frustrating by you know, they're they got to try to find that liability and if if they're not getting it from there and insured, or getting the information from their insured, it could be hard to accept that liability. Yep. Absolutely, And here's what I also want to know. Then, recently, we've heard a lot from not a lot, but more than ever before
about dairy Land. I've never even heard, well, I kind of heard of them here and there. So we had a few complaints about people getting covered by people who were insured by dairy Land. Who the hell is dairy Land. They've been around for a while there. I don't know a ton about them, but yeah, they've been around for a while. They're I don't think they have a huge presence in Colorado, but yeah, I mean they're not a new company. Or are they like a high risk company?
Is that I'm asking? I think they can tend to be. I think they kind of take all different types of insurance, but I do think they're pretty good with high risk. Now I understood that they were maybe part of Sentry Insurance or another insurance company. Do you find often that major carriers have a division or have maybe a wholly owned subsidiary, or have other companies for the high risk so they can keep them out of their main pool. Yeah.
You can see a lot of that with different companies where they may have a subsidiary which is specifically high risk, or you'll see, you know, big companies that want to have some ownership or representation on the broker end, so they could have a like Liberty Mutual is the parent company, but then you know they have safety on the broker end. So there's a lot of that that happens. I just read here dairy Land is a subsidiary of Century.
So does carriers have their their version of a high risk not all of them, No, like Farmers has a Foremost that's the big one that comes to mind, and then a lot of the other companies that do high risk. It'll just be a program within you know that company. It's not a separate company, all right. And so as far as and again I'm not asking it a weigh in on it, We've said enough about it over the
years. What I consider the absolute worst company ever is fred Laya. Is fred Laya a captive company where they only sell through their own agents or how do they operate? Yeah? I believe so. I think it's it's just a captive company that has their own agents or you don't call in call center
type thing. And one of the things that we were told about from attorneys, a lot of personal injury attorneys, that some agents get their people to opt out of certain things because there are certain coverages you must opt out of or they're automatically included. Have you heard of those coverages? Yeah, so you have to formally opt out of uninsured motorist bodily injury and medical payments. So the really so you so the government then feels it's so important that if
someone doesn't want it, they have to literally opt out of it. Correct, Yeah, you have to. If we were going to write a policy without medical or anyone or uninsured motors bodily injury, there's a separate form you have to sign for you cannot have that coverage. And if you if you opt out of it, then you're fine. Uh, you know, but if you really want to. But isn't it foolish compared to the value you get? I think so? Yeah. I mean, especially right now with
the uninsured motorists. I mean there's so many uninsured motorists on the road or people's state minimum that you know is not going to be enough that coverage. It's it's tough because it gets more and more expensive the more and more it's needed, or the more and more it's used. So as you see that premium go up and up, it attempts to people to want to remove it because it makes a big den in reducing their premiums. But there's a reason
it costs so much, so it's kind of a catch Twenty two. Yeah, Well, we were told that by our personal injury attorney, John Fuller. You never opt out of that, always get uninsured, under insured, and then always get medpay always. So anyway, Jeremy pay. Wait wait while we're on this subject real quick. I need to warn everybody out there, do not get these plug in devices that track you're driving. I don't care what they say. They will use your driving habits against you when your
renewal comes. Do not use them. Okay, I want to hold on ever, hold on now, Jeremy. We can call you back, but I want to weigh in on the I want Mark to tell us why he's saying that. So hold on. This is the Troubleshooter Show. No Tom Martinez,
Hi Tom Martino here, Welcome to the show. Three oh three seven one three talk three oh three seven one three eight two five five. You know, we've had a lot of calls in the recent history of the show here asking about car insurance companies or auto insurance companies trying to monitor your driving habits. And what they usually say is this isn't going to do anything but save
you money. It won't be used to increase your premiums. And they have these little devices that track your driving habits, plugging into your driver port, the data p of your car. Some which are even worse, have cell phone trackers and they're apps. And these apps have been in bad shape because people have been rated on their friends cars that they were passengers in and that I'm shocked about, and I want to shed some light on that. We
have Jeremy with us Curzio from Compass Insurance Group. By the way, they're the home of the free insurance checkup. They help you by doing insurance checkups to make sure you're not paying too much and that you're not uh, that you have enough coverage. And that's a compass insurance group at three h three nine nine six nine thousand. So jeremy, let's take them one at a time. First, sure, the data one, the one that plugs into
your data port. Are insurance companies still using these? There are some out there that are most of them going to an app. They're mostly going to the cell phone app. Yeah, okay, Now what about what I've heard that people are getting ding for driving with their car? Well, that I mean for driving me for being a passenger of someone else's car. Yeah, you have to go in and deselect the trips that you weren't driving, which
is kind of crazy. And you know, I've talked to I don't have a lot of clients that like this or participate in it, I should say, but you know, I do have a couple that they don't mind, they'll do it. But yeah, it's well, hold on, do they have a choice? Then? Do they have a choice? All of our companies give you a choice. There are What does that mean if you don't do it, then what, well, you don't pay more into it at all, or if you didn't go in and deselect the trips that weren't yours,
it could potentially hurt you. Depend But if you wait, you can opt out of the entire program. Oh absolutely, at least well, okay, then tell me why everyone would not opt out? Not every Why why would anyone want this? Because they'll give you a discount to start Usually it's
like ten percent discount. So if you sign up for the program, they'll give you ten percent just off your rate, and the premise is basically then they'll monitor you're driving, and depending on how good of a driver you are, you can get you know, most of them will stay up to thirty percent discount all the way to losing the discount. I think what Mark was
alluding to, which is starting to happen. At first, they would always say, your rate's never going to be worse than it would be if you didn't sign right, So if you had one thousand dollars rate, you get a ten percent discount, it goes down nine one hundred, and then it you know, if you're an awful driver, it's not going to go back
over one thousand. Now companies are actually openly coming out and saying no, your rate could actually be worse based on your driving than if you didn't opt into it, So that that's a big game changer with this to where in the past, at least the perception was your rate wasn't going to be worse. Now they're openly saying, you know, based on your actual driving, it could be worse than not up. But you have to okay it records. How does it even know when you're in a car to begin with?
Well, I think the self the app will know when it's moving. What it doesn't know is if you're the one driving. You know, are you on the light rail or you on a buddy and you and you literally are responsible. So if you were out driving and got pulled over for speeding or had some other incident, couldn't you just go in and say that wasn't you
driving? You could? Yeah, you could. There has to be so many trips registered to qualify for it, So I mean, if you knew that one instance was bad, I guess you could go in and just take that one off. What kills me? You guys? I just I have to get into this I brought this up. What kills me is how they raid it. So what I'm going to talk about progressive because that's the one
that my son is dealing with. No accidents, no tickets, nothing in the time period, but he decided to get that stupid thing to save twenty percent. Now is renewal came He went from six months and he's got primo coverage. He went from six months at a nine hundred dollars in change. The renewal came in at over two thousand, one hundred dollars. We're talking
doubled. And here's why it doubled. You know what they track. They say they don't track where you're at, but what they do track is heartbreaking and fast acceleration. Now that drives me insane. Because I have a Tesla. I accelerate extremely quick all the time. I would probably be penalized immediately. And there's nothing illegal about accelerating quickly from a stop sign or anywhere else. Nothing illegal. And there's nothing freaking illegal about breaking hard mark mark.
There is an unsafe start ticket people get. They call it unsafe start, but I have no idea what the parameters are for it. I have no idea but that would just be absurd unstage start, What does that mean? I don't know, it's not I would say people that start off too slow or unsafe so well, I'd like to know though, And two people would make the argument all the time. It's like, yeah, I hit the brakes hard because a kid ran out in the street. Yeah, it's just
me for avoiding an accident. And there's a lot of merit to that. And it's not even speeding though, that's the part that kills me. There's no speeding involved. And I'm talking just about Progressive. They told him all they rate is heartbreaking and fast acceleration, and that just drives me crazy. And here's the part that really sucks over double nine hundred to twenty one hundred. Jeremy, how do they justify? Now if he goes to another company,
will that follow him in a halt? He went to I talked to Jeremy on Friday because I was helping Jeremy was helping me shop Forum and it's just because he's in Nebraska and we're here. That didn't work out. Geico came in the exact same coverage for the exact same price that Progressive charge last year. So nine hundred and change. It's crazy. So Jeremy, what do you have to do in the app to say you're not driving? You
have to go in and do what. Well, each app's going to be different and kind of how that looks, but somehow designate that you weren't the driver for that trip. So each trip is going to be registered. You go in, and the trips you weren't driving you have to go in and delete it. But they must have an algorithm to know when you drive and when you don't. And I mean the whole thing is just crazy. Yeah. We I mean I could just speak from our experience with it. We
have not had great feedback or great luck. Well I have another one. Why doesn't it if we had the technology to do that, why not just charge people by the mile when they're driving. Why are we charged when my car is sitting in my garage for liability? I've often wondered that, Yeah, you it's a good question, and I think they they would answer back, well, we charge based on usage, but they're there, but they don't. They don't charge. But do they charge based on usage or not?
Well they can, Yeah, I mean if I list someone as a pleasure you striver, like a retired person that isn't driving to work every day. That's going to be a different category than someone who commutes to work. But even those ratings are they don't always make sense, and you'll see a little difference when someone retires, they call in, they tell us we make that change. It doesn't change very much. And that's all carriers, that's not any one company. And you kind of scratch your head going. So
they're not going to be on the road there. Will they ever have a time when a cell phone tracker is mandatory. Let's face it, it's going to happen. I think there's a couple companies out there that require this program. None of mine do. But I'll bet you a high risk will always require it. They don't be more likely to if they're not already. Absolutely, are there some doing it now? Do you think? Yeah? I think there's a couple companies out there that are currently it's just automatic, you
have to opt in to do it. Wow, So the whole industry is changing in that they want it, you know, if you think about it, though, there's nothing wrong with getting a true assessment of risk. But as Mark said, just a quick start in and of itself? Does that I mean, what does that say? Heartbreaking? What does it say? I mean if I guess if you do it all the time. But well,
we've discussed this a million times. When you say there's nothing wrong with getting an assessment of risk, I mean I I go along withould I do this? There's nothing wrong with an accurate assessment of risk. Well that's fair enough. But I've brought this up and you've argued this point genetic testing for health insurance. Oh, I know, I know, I might not.
I mean, and if we're going to calculate how people drive, where they go, what they do, what time they drive, how fast they drive, And I would say this more importantly, where they drive if they park it at church four times a week compared to a bar or a liquor store, do you charge more? Common sense would say you would charge more? So why not do genetic testing? And then depending on what you're prone to,
is what you pay? Oh, Mark, I'm the wrong person to talk about this because I am all for actuarials that are more reflective of actuality. Okay, I am truly in favor of that. That means, the more you drive, the more you pay. The more you unhealthy have it more chick it in Mountain? Do you shove down your pie hole? The more you pay? That's right, and I'm all for it. The problem I have is how you track it. Not if you pay for it, but how you track it that you know, are we going to get to
a point where we're being spiled? We twenty listen people that have health insurance. Most of us go in once a year and get all of our vitals. I get my A one C, I get my cholesterol, I get whatever panels they do, and then when the renewal comes, I guess you could base it on NA plus a genetic testing. I mean, I'm just saying we're getting to a point of ridiculous, is all. I'm saying. It could be, It could be. Now I want to know if they by GPS. My car knows what the speed limit is? Mark Yeah,
so yeah, most do now, okay. And what I have is a little it flashes if I go over the speed limit. Yeah, even if I don't see a sign, it tells, you know, it's telling Mine will tell me where those red light cameras are everywhere too. Now what I'm asking, Jeremy, do you think, Jeremy, there will be a time where they track of your speed and where you are. Obviously they even know school zones and times. Oh yeah, the most of the telematics programs are
checking speed or tracking speed. Now, so I don't know what Progressive told Mark, but I'm pretty sure their speed well it was it was literally a dongle you plug in, and I think that's all it could do. Okay, right, and where's the app can do more? But yeah, most of them, especially if the smart phones with the apps that they're tracking, they're all tracking speed as well. People are just crazy if they do it. Chair me, I think they're crazy. They think they're going to save
ten or twenty percent. And if there's multiple people in the family sharing the same car, I mean you can have grandpa and grandma that drive it ten miles an hour, and then grandson or son you know, drives at one hundred and all three of them are going to get freaking penalized. It just doesn't matter. Yeah, Like, I drive absolutely perfect. I get awards for driving perfect. But Suzanne, on the other hand, might drive like a bad ad of hell. Then I get penalized. Isn't that nice to
know? Mark? Anyway, we have more coming up if you still have your food in your belly and and puge over that. But anyway, we have a lot to talk about. I don't know if I like the spying part because I'm not sure it's going to be accurate, an accurate assessment of risk. But Jeremy, thanks for being here, and you can expect that
more and more this is going to come out as technology improves. Hi Tom Martino, you're troubleshooter, Carol. You
have an issue with lifelocked parents. What's going on? Carol, Welcome to the show, taking my call? Yes, I don't know. Can you can you hear me? Yes? I can. What's happening. Well, they went through identity theft at the beginning of November last year, and they had LifeLock, so they thought everything would be okay. They had a computer hack and the people that got into their bank account. LifeLock is not covering them, of course not. I think lifelock's just the credit report. No,
no, no, it's not. But it's more than that. But well, wait a minute, you mean market only provides protection for the credit report. Yeah, I mean, I know it's supposed to lock your credit and all that stuff, but I don't think it has anything to do with getting scammed. It has to do with someone goes on and opens up a credit card in your name. Then they use that credit card that's in your name on your credit report and builds up a balance and doesn't pay it.
Let me, Carol, let me ask you like that, how much was taken from their bank account. My mom hasn't told me. She said it was a lot. She doesn't even want to say because she said she used LifeLock because they were supposed to cover up to a million dollars worth. Okay, why does LifeLock say they're not covering it. They they're saying because it was a half from the computer, and that that they're not going to cover because that was a half on the computer, therefore a scam with the computer.
What does that mean? I don't understand the reasoning. Do they have a letter of rejection or anything from LifeLock? No, I don't think so. Well. I don't exactly know what you're talking about as far as why they're not covering it. First of all, I don't really even know what LifeLock covers. Okay, I don't know actually debt when it comes to refunder reimbursements or stolen funds, it's identity theft. That's what it's got to be attached to. Identity theft. So, like I said, someone, okay,
okay, not a hack. I get what they're saying. They're saying that these people went into their computer, didn't steal their identity, but hacked into their bank account. Yeah, but when is it? Never? Okay? But but how when? Under what circumstances would they pay? Then? Just like I said, I if I had your social security number, your address, your info, and I went into Macy's and opened up a credit card in Tom Martino's name, and I charged ten thousand dollars on it.
And next thing you know, a few months later, you see you have a past thirty on a credit card you never knew even existed that would be covered. Carol, this is very serious. If your parents lost hundreds of thousands, do you think yes, yes, Oh my god, this is serious. How old are they they are in their late seventies. Oh my god, how did it happen? To the best of your knowledge, how did they get into the computer? Did they allow someone to get in? READI? Yah? Do they know? Do you know? Yeah? What
do you know? I wish I knew more. My mom is very traumatized about it. She said there was an alert on her computer and then the banks, her bank started calling her with the her own bank name, But it wasn't her bank that called her correct, it was not. It was the people that got into the computer. So they really did god, oh my god, yes, they really they really got in there. Oh my god. Is it possible? Would your mom be more transparent? I mean she has to be to get help. Has she talked to her bank?
She she has talked to her bank and they said that they have people coming in every day, four to five customers going through the same thing. She's talked to the FBI, and she does have a detective. They are investigating
it. And yeah, see, here's what I'd like to do, without using your mom's name or anything, if she could explain exactly the sequence of events, we could help others from this happening to, like if she came on the show or if even if you could get the exact sequence of events, it will help others because right now people, you know what happened. Man, First, what happens to have there's a lot of safety guards. If we're hundreds of thousands of dollars, there is a lot of safety guards
that are in place. I have no idea how this would happen to that kind of money. I mean, I want to know this hard. I'd like to know the sequence of events it did. She also told me this and maybe I could get her on here. She also told me this that once she figured out that it wasn't the bank, then they threatened my parents' lives. They knew their address. There was a lot of detail with this. Does she have a number of content? I'm trying to explain this part
though, to you. You got to figure out some of the logistics. For example, they're not going to wire that much money out of the country or even in the country without them coming into the bank and signing for the wire. They're not going to do an ach for that amount of money. I mean, did they do this over like a two year period or something. They did it quickly. They did it the first week of November. It happened very quickly. God, it's just it's baffling. We need Marl.
Are you sure she won't be forthcoming with how it happens step by step. We won't use her name or she that embarrassed she doesn't even want to talk about it. I think she's very traumatized, very traumatized. How much do you think they had personally? What do you think I think, Well, because you won't tell me, I think it was a lot. I think when she told me that she trusted LifeLock to protect them that because they cover a million and more, that would be my guess. But this was
not identity theft. This was a computer hack. Yes, and she's so then I know that she's also talked with Norton, but nobody wants to do anything, and so my parents will How does Norton have to Norton doesn't have to do any they own LifeLock. Oh, but it wasn't identity theft. I I'm only hearing one side of the story, and I agree with him. I mean, this is but this is so oh my god, it's it's why don't you give us your mom's number off air and we'll call her?
Okay, Okay, that that would be great. Yeah, but you know how Okay, all right, let's try. Let's try. Let's have someone like I think Doc, Honest to god, I think Doc would be very good at this conversation to find out what happened. All right, I got okay that you're right about that. We need to take this break. I want to hear about the All State app from Kurt, and then Thomas has a comment on insurance trackers coming up. Go with a sure thing Denver's

Alliance three oh three nine two zero sixteen twenty two. Hi, Tom Martino, Nor Troubleshooter three oh three seven one three Talk three oh three seven three two five to five. So we've been talking about insurance apps now on cell phones that track you. What's really weird is they track everything, so you have to go in and actually parse out what's what was not you driving and hope they believe you. It's crazy the way they do that. I mean,
you would think there would be some way to better do it. But anyway, Kurt, what is your comment on the all State app? So? I have the all State app. It's called drive Wise and it measures three things that you do. It'll sudden breaking is one. Excessive speed is another one, and if you go over eighty miles per hour, it will tell you, hey, that you went over eighty miles per hour. And
the other one is phone activity. So if you pick up your phone and you're messing with it while you're driving, it's going to know that you did that. Well, other than that, I'd be a dead man. But I mean, I don't pick up my phone or do that. It's a it's on a thing in bluetooth. But as far as all the others, I mean, it's not unusual for me to uh, well, no, I don't know if I know, I don't break suddenly, I don't think.
No. But speeding, I mean, speeding could be anything. I mean, if you're at a thirty and you go thirty five, if you're at a fifty and do fifty five, what's speeding. No, this one only tells you when you go over eighty miles per hour. It does not know, or doesn't tell you that it knows what the speed limit is where you're at. It's just oh okay. So in other words, if you go thirty, if you go thirty in a twenty, it doesn't mark you as a speeder. No, you're sure of that one hundred percent positive.
So what you do is you go into the app and I do this about every two weeks, and I'll look back at all my activity, and if it says, hey, you were expeding excessively and I knew that I was on my motorcycle, or if I knew I was with somebody else, then what I do is I say I was a passenger, and then that way it doesn't ding me. All right, I appreciate that information, you know, because I had no idea. I know that. Uh oh wait wait wait, So but don't you have to do that like all the time?
I mean, aren't you often not the driver or what? How how do you how often do you go into the app and do that? I go into it every few weeks, just when it pops into my head. But they did tell me I changed over to i'll say it a couple of years ago. They did tell me that this would not affect my rates. Oh they're lying, Well, it hasn't affected my rate. My rates have been
the same regardless. And so that's the situation. My spouse, who's also she doesn't ever go in and correct hers, and I tell her she should because sometimes my driving might I might be going over the speed limit. I say you should be doing that. You might get dinged for it. But her rates that she pays separately have not gone up either. They've really well. But then then, okay, then what's the purpose of it. Then I'm sure that I'll say, Now, look, this doesn't mean where this
is going to head in the futures. Right what you guys were talking about, how good a driver you are will be dependent on your rate, will be affected by how good or how bad a driver you are. So I think they're doing it right now just to gather a lot of data. And you know the future is going to be different, but right now they have not is okay connected my rate? I can tell you that. Thank you, Kurt, appreciate it, really, thank you. Three oh three seven

I'm looking at this letter dated July of twenty twenty three. Okay, what's going on with it? So I basically basically what's happening is I have an issue with by Minnie Cooper and there's a football control module that is the issue. It could potentially result in a short circuit or risk of fire
or injury. So I did not feel comfortable driving my car. Now, hold on, let me get this straight. This is a recall on all of them or some of them, or your specific or what ah well, so it is a I don't know if it's mine specific. I mean they did mention my car with you know, my I'm sorry, I'm escaping the name for it, but the uh for them to know that it's my car that's been Okay, yeah, it's your n number. You have a faulty module and and and it's in danger of maybe what what's the worst that can
happen? It says a potential thermal event which could increase the risk of fire or injury. Okay, So now you're not comfortable driving it? Correct? And I do they recommend that you not? Do they recommend that you not drive it? Uh? I? You know, honestly, I don't think they said at the time months ago that not to drive it, but I don't. Okay, So what's the upshot? Then?
