Now we will meet our sensational guests and hear all about what good causes they are playing for and shortly

crown one of them the smartest person in the world for one week. But as for right now, let's jump right into some questions and answers with our first of four rounds today. Around one general knowledge thinking caps on, ladies, All right, Henry, very general, very general, the most general of questions. Anything goes in round one. Pencil's ready, and away we go question number one. There are eight questions in this general knowledge round.

Question one, Here we go in the Netflix mega hit series Stranger Things? What actress played Joyce Buyers? Who plays Mama Buyers in Stranger Things? For question number one? This is this is the part where you think, you know, it'd be great if I thought of people's last names more. It's okay, last names will suffice. You don't need the first name even, No, no, like the character's last name. I don't know who the which is the characters? The Buyers? Ah, Here we go question number

two, right into question number two. Name the word for street in either German or Italian? Don't need both, just one or the other German or Italian? How would you say the word street in German or Italian? For question number two, we're going around the world. Okay, okay, I like the giggles already. I feel like this might be vaguely offensive. Spaghetti all right? Number three, I think you both have this one in their heyday. What band was made up of Mark Hoppis, Tom DeLong and Travis

Barker? Name that band? Sadly got it? You know that one, but you don't know anything about the streets of Italy or Chermany. Question number four, Jan is the spokesperson for what automotive company? You've seen Jan on the TV commercials. Jan is the spokesperson for what car and truck company name that company you've seen her For the last i'm gonna say close to a decade,

she has been the spokesperson for this car company. Question number five, this is This is current and it goes a little old school as well. The new James Webb's Space telescope that is sending back all these recent jaw dropping pictures of space is an improvement over what telescope that was launched back in nineteen ninety, the James Web Space telescope that you're seeing all these pictures that people are posting of, Like, look at this, it's like squinting. It

uses. If you squint, sometimes you can think of things that you actually don't exist in your brain. It's true. People look up or look to the side when they're trying to think sometimes do they close their eyes? Are they squint? Mines? Get? Really's fault? Anything to squeeze out that yeah, phone nugget, your information will come out, Yeah, up in

your noggins again. I'll repeat that question. The brand new James Web space telescope that's been sending back all these new recent jaw dropping pictures of outer space uses infrared technology. It's an improvement upon what telescope space telescope that was launched back in nineteen ninety. So since nineteen ninety we've been seeing pictures from this previous telescope. But now the James Web Web one is just like, move

aside, old school, there's something better. Name that older space telescope. For number five, And we can't just guess a piece of Terresa, right you can? Because that was like, didn't someone accidentally yet a piece of Chreisa? And there this is a Yeah, there was some picture that was like this, like, look at this amazing photo, but it was Cherisa. It was a slice of tes I missed this. This is amazing, pretty excellent. Terresa is beautiful, to be fair, if you look at

it, it is a beautiful picture. It's just not of a distant planet or galaxy or universe. It's a piece of meat. It's really good, hilarious, all right, Question number six, Question number six, we're going elsewhere in the world. The Great Barrier reef lies in what appropriately named c name the body of water that the Great Barrier reef lies in It's appropriately named, so, so name that appropriately named body of water that the great Barrier reef lies in. I don't know how to tell you this, but I

remember like a total of three things from geography class growing up. So but it's a sea and not an ocean. Correct, sea, not an ocean. And I hope at least two of those things you learned, Lola, are the streets of Berlin's and the barrier reefs. We're already at question seven. We are just flying through the general knowledge round of you should know better? Question number seven. Jenny Finch and Jessica Mendoza are two of the greatest

players to have ever played what sport? Jenny Finch uh and Jessica Mendoza are two of the greatest players of what sport? I will give the clue that I know for sure. I think both of them were on an Olympic team, but Jenny Finch was definitely on an Olympic team that won all the medals playing this sport as well. Let's keep it moving here we are our final question of round one, the general knowledge round. It's usually the toughest round.

I would say the general knowledge round is usually the toughest question. Number eight, Delia Owens penned, what recent best selling novel that takes place around the coastal marshes of North Carolina? Name that novel that has been turned into a film. This is what I should know, But I am taking a guess. What is one I should know? You are a bookworm? We all know. Uh again, Delia Owens penned, what recent best selling novel that takes place around the coastal marshes of North Carolina. Oh, I don't

remember the name. It has ccently been turned into a major motion picture. Oh what is it called? I don't remember the name. I can picture the setting in the The good thing is is we're not going to go over our answers quite yet, so you do have time. We're going to do our introductions right now, So pencils down. You will have time to it. Maybe will come to you as we go over our answers in just a bit. But it's time to meet our guests. Everybody. Oh wait,

sorry, go ahead. Okay, you remember it? I think, but I probably got it wrong. Okay, Okay, I'll be very lenient. If you're close, we'll get it all right. It's time to meet our special guests. Everyone. These two ladies are fantastic. This person grew up all over the place, Utah, Las Vegas, rural Michigan. But she's she's bested me. She's been in LA for seventeen years. I got here in five, so she's she's been here even longer than me. She has

a new short film. Did you just finish the film? Did you shoot it or it's about to be shot? Oh? We shot it and it is about to be post is finishing in like four days. How exciting. It's a short film called Pruning. She has her own podcast called Trust Me. And she's also an incredible musician and singer. She's got a bunch of a new music forthcoming. She's a renaissance woman. My Lola Blanc is here. Hello, Hello, thank you, thank you. Great to have you

on the pod. And what charity are you playing for today? I'm playing for friends outside Los Angeles? And can you tell us a little bit about this charity? Yeah, I'm just gonna sort of pair it what's on their website because I feel like I wouldn't articulate it well. The mission of Friends Outside is to assist children and families, prisoners and former prisoners with the immediate

and long term effects of incarceration. Basically, they just connect inmates to the outside and kind of help them transition or help them, you know, live a better life. That is tremendous. It's so great to have you on the show, Lola Blanc and you can follow her on the social media is she's on Instagram at ooh La Lola's and her podcast. You can follow that as well on Instagram at trust Me Podcast. And then she's also on Twitter at not ooh La Lola. It's oh La Lola. I couldn't find imagining

handle. They're different on every platform. It's so tough not to try and get the same handle on all you just can't do it. And now let's meet your opponent. She's from Texas, y'all. She's from Marshall, Texas hometown. Lived in Austin, which is an incredible city. We all hung out there for Fantastic Fest. She just directed a movie for Blumhouse called Torn Hearts. Sorry Torn Hearts. It's now on epics right now. You can watch this film right now. She also did a movie called Twelve Hour Shift

that I love. She's been in a bunch of movies. Another renaissance woman, Bria Grant, is here. How's it going? Excited to show off all of my general knowledge today. I've been studying general knowledge all week, just picking up encyclopedias, reading them starting with A, ending with Z. Wow. Very impressive. I can't wait to go over your answers to Bria. What charity are you playing for today? I'm going to play for a dog rescue called A Purposeful Rescue. It's where I got my very own little

dog, and I think they do good work. And the shelters are really full in LA right now. So any sort of help people can give towards any dog rescue is great, but this is one that I just really like. But anyone is great. Just to plug them all, all of them. Yeah, you've you've You've mentioned the Pasadena Humane Society and you're playing for today A Purposeful Rescue. What is the name of your pooch and what kind

of dog is it? Her name's birthday party and she is a I don't know, so purpose will Rescue. They focus on getting dogs out of the shelter that our senior is a little bit older or might have medical problems, and she has both, and so I got her about four years ago when she was about twelve thirteen, So she's about sixteen right now. And she's some sort of poodle Schnauzer doc uh uh oh wow poodle Schnauzer dogs in mix, I think, short and has poodle fur, but then like a furry

face that looks like an old man. I'm gonna go out on a limb. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say, that's maybe the greatest dog name I've ever heard. In that but do you say the whole name every time? Party here all when she's in trouble. But I do think my neighbors think I'm probably a lunatic because I will just stand outside and be like birthday, so it sounds like I'm screaming holiday. It's very yeah, but it is a funny name and people do tend to respond to. You

can follow Bria Grant on Instagram at Bria Grant. She got just her name that handle so lucky lucky, that's right. There's not a lot of Bria Grants in the world, to be fair, so yes, follow both these ladies. On the social media's they always post really cool stuff and they're always working on great stuff. Here we go, It's time to go over our answers for round one, our general knowledge round. There were eight questions in this round. Here we go, question number one and stranger Things. What

actress played the mom Joyce Buyers? Lolo? What did you put for number one? I put Wina writer because that's the only mom whose name I know on the show, Wanona writer. Do you agree with that? Bria? That is what I could also? Yes, the correct answer is Wanona writer. Wow. Go sigh of relief. Forever young Buanona forever writer. For question number one, number two, name the word for street in either German

or Italian. Brio will start with you this time. What a word that I'm going to call kaya c a l e, which I think is maybe possibly a Spanish word not meeting streets. That is a great guess, and you are correct that is the Spanish term for street kaya kayet, but not the Italian one. I'm guessing exactly, Lola. Do you have a different answer similar where I think this is just a Spanish word. I put aa. That sounds good too. Yeah, you guys were coming up with different

words. Very creative. You're always you need a word in another language. We got you, Kaye. I like all of those things, they aren't the correct answer. They won't get you the point this time. The German word for street is strasatrasa. I would never something something Strasa at the end is where you need to go. And then an Italian not too far away. You've maybe seen that old school black and white film Lastrata Strata. I never ever would have gotten that. I feel good about that in Italian or

strasa in German. Now we know forever you'll never forget Question number three. We got this one in there, heyday. What band was made up of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLong and Travis Barker Lola. I want to say the wrong name, just because I think it'd be funny, but I'm going to say blink one eight What was your other? What was the funny name? Taking Max Sunday, I love it, Brio, What did you put? I agreed with that. It is Blink one eight two, Blink one eighty

two for question number three. Question number four is the spokesperson for what automotive company? Bria? I think I think it's something else, but I want progressive. I feel like that's not her name. You're thinking of flow, I'm thinking Alow. I think you're hyaing it up right now, Lola, did you have a guess? I have no idea what you were talking about at all, so I just wrote down forward. That's what I have. Yes, Jan is the spokesperson and has been for about the last decade of

Toyota. She's a Toyota gal. She's always wearing a red shirt. That's my second game, brunette, red shirt, black pants or skirts. My friend Laurel Koppi, she's a groundling and she's been the spokesperson for Toyota for many moons. Now, you know, I'm sure she's great. She is.

She's a wonderful human being. She really is. H Question number five, The new James Webb space telescope that is sending back all these recent jaw dropping picks is an improvement over what telescope that was launched back in nineteen ninety Lola, I put hub hub I don't know any games of telescopes, so that was the only one in my head. Bria, what did you put? I put hubble hubble? Oh, this is what we're talking about. I'm gonna give I'm gonna give Lola a half point and Bria gets the full

point because it is the Hubble Space Telescope. Deserve that. That's very close. Lo Listen, my brain got it. It just didn't get somewhere in some nook. Bull is there like like, well, I'm not kind of hub hub telescope Hubble Hubble. All right, listen, that is great. Take the half point and run with it. Lola. One have said bowl.

It is the Bowl telescope. It's the Bull telescope. Bull Hubble Space telescope is the one that was launching nineteen ninety replaced by the James web Space Telescope again, and the new one uses infrared stuff, so we can see infrared stuff. So that's why all these pictures just look insane. Question number six, The Great Barrier Reef lies in what appropriately named C Bria. I

gotta say, I don't know this. One's where I went with something with the same first letter, which is the Baltic Sea, although I believe that's in Europe. Yes, your brain is working very well. Ola. What did you put? I put not one. I don't remember anything. I'm telling you. I put coral c o coral ce. We have the Baltic Sea, Bria. You are correct at the bolt see the Baltic Sea is in Europe. It's in northern The Baltics are like estoniavia Lithuania. Yes,

yeah, that's what I thought. I think I've been there weirdly, but said Reef, you said appropriately named. The correct answer is the Coral Sea. Oh you got it right now. Wow, Wow, good jobs. Question number seven, your sports question. Jenny Finch and Jessica Mendoza are two of the greatest players of what sport? I think we're starting off with Lola again, Lola, what do you have for question seven? What's your guests? Wild guest? Fencing, fencing, great guess, good guess, saber

pay? What is the other one? There's three different types of fencing, Bria, Maria, what sport did you come up with? Basketball? That's a sport? Great sport? Is a sport? Two great guesses, both incorrect. These two are two of the greats in softball. Softball was a picture one of the best softball pitchers ever. Jessica Mendoza is now a commentator on ESPN for Major League Baseball. She's in the booth doing baseball games. But yeah, she was one of the greats and softball herself. Question number

eight, This was your final question in general knowledge round. Delia Owens penned, what recent best selling novel that takes place around the coastal marshes of North Kaka Lac, North Carolina and they just turned it recently into a major motion picture. Bria, what did you put for number eight? I have not read it, but I think it is where the Crawdads Sing? Where the Crawdads sing, Lola, do you agree with that or do you have your own answer? That is what I wrote as well. The correct answer is

where the Crawdads Sing? By Nice Nice by Delia Owens. I read it last year and it's fun. It's a really great read. It's a really great time. I'm excited to check out the film. So here is our first score update after round one. Bria Grant with four points and Lola Blanc with four and a half. Holy, all I was missing was that bull That hubs That hove really got you missing the bull, Lola. You get to choose what color you want to be on our varsity Intermural volleyball scoreboard behind

me red or blue, Blue, please blue. And I'm just gonna put five down because we don't have half points, so it'll look like it's five to four. But we all know, we all know about the hubb. It is four and a half to four. Lola's in the lead. Anyone's game again. We're playing with Bria Grant and Lola Blanc and we're going to jump right into our second round, which is our round two. Pop culture grab bag. This could be anything music, sports, television, movies.

We're gonna stick with movies today. You too, are heavily involved in this genre, as Alex Trebeck would have fun with saying the word genre horror loving female directors, producers, writers, actresses in this field. So these are all horror films from the twenty first century. These are all last twenty two years in the horror genre. Here we go question number one. I will give you the year and a brief synopsis. You just name the film again.

There are eight questions in this pop culture grab bag horror films of the twenty first century. The year was two thousand and one. A woman who lives in her darkened old family house with her two photosensitive children becomes convinced that the home is haunted. I will repeat that question one more time. Question number one is from two thousand and one. A woman who lives in her darkened old family house with her two photosensitive children becomes convinced that the home is

haunted. Name that film? All right? Here is question number two? A little more recent. This film came out in twenty fourteen. A young videographer answers an online ad for a one day job in a remote town to record the last messages of a dying man. A dying man is played by Mark Duplas. When he notices the man's odd behavior, the videographer starts to

question his intentions once again. This film came out in twenty fourteen. A young videographer answers an online ad for a one day job in a remote town to record the last messages of a dying man played by Mark Duplas. When the videographer notices the man's odd behavior, he starts to question his intentions. Name that film. All right, here, we are, We're ready for. Question number three is from twenty nineteen. Wow, maybe the most recent,

A bride's wedding night takes a sinister turn when her eccentric new in laws force her to take part in a terrifying game. Name that fun film from twenty nineteen. A bride's wedding night takes a sinister turn when her eccentric new in laws force her to take part in a terrifying a game. Name that film for number three noise noise choice,

This is great. Do you guys feel better now? Do we feel good? Yeah? There's no geography. I'm in Yeah, I know sports, yes, okay. Russ. Number four is from two thousand and two. Two thousand and two was the year. That's a palindrome. Two thousand and two. Look at that. A journalist must investigate a mysterious videotape which seems to cause the death of anyone one week to the day after they view it. Ah, and there were different versions of this. One was a foreign

one. This is the American version two thousand and two. A journalist must investigate a mysterious videotape which seems to cause the death of anyone one week to the day after they view it. Remember videotapes, hah, question Number five is from two thousand and eight. Two thousand and eight is the year Oscar, an overlooked and bullied boy, finds love and revenge through Eli, a beautiful but peculiar, peculiar girl in this beautiful Swedish film. Oh I love

one of my favorites of all time. Name two thousand and eight. Oscar, an overlooked and bullied boy finds love and revenge through Eli, a beautiful but peculiar girl in this beautiful Swedish film. I'm confusing this name with another one, and I know I am because they're both phrases. Okay, I'll think of it. It will come to you. That was question number five. Great film. I can't wait to go over these so we can spoil it and tell everyone you see see all these movies if you haven't already.

Number six twenty fourteen. This might be a little bit of a deeper cut for those playing at home. A young woman is followed by an unknown supernatural force after a sexual encounter. Name that film from twenty fourteen. I will repeat it again. A young woman is followed by an unknown supernatural force after a sexual encounter. That is your question for number six In your pop culture grab bag home the great movements of the last twenty plus years. Yeah,

I really like this one as well. We are at our penultimate question in this round, Question number seven. It's from two thousand and two, another good year for these films. Two thousand and two. Four weeks after a mysterious incurable virus spreads throughout the UK, A handful of survivors try to find sanctuary. Again. For question number seven, it's from the year two thousand and two, four weeks after a mysterious incurable virus spreads throughout the UK,

A handful of survivors try to find sanctuary for weeks. Ahha ah, yeah, pay attention to that. I had thousand. That was what I thought anyway, hopefully hopefully wink nudge, nudge, you know what I mean. Side note penultimate underrated word. I think people should use it more. I'm glad you did. I never knew what it was, and now I use it in almost every podcast because I do like that word. I say it all the time and people give me funny looks because underused? Is it the

final one? Close but not all right? We are at our final question. This is question number eight of this horror movie round. This is a movie from twenty thirteen. Twenty thirteen is the year Paranormal Investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren work to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse. Name that film. I think this is one of the best of the last like twenty thirty years. Oh, I do too, but I can't those

movies mixed up. This is the first one air Normal Investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren work to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farm house. For your final question, oh yes, yes, light bulb. It is one of my favorite parts of the show is watching the light bulbs go off. That's really cool. People are struggling again, looking up, looking to the side, squinting, finger on bridge of nose. Eureka, I have found it all right, pencils down. Let's go over our answers for

our pop culture grab bag horror films of the twenty first century. Question number one was from two thousand and one. A woman who lives in her darkened old family house with her two photo sensitive children becomes convinced that the home is haunted. We'll start with Bria this round, Bria, what did you get? I believe it is the Others. The Others with Nicole Kidman, Lola. Do you agree? I do agree the correct answer is the Others.

Another beautiful movie. I really enjoyed that film. I don't remember. I haven't seen it since it came out. Is it so worth Yeah, it's amazing. It's really worth watching. I rewatched it during the pandemic because I saw it in the theaters and loved it. And rewatched it was like, it holds up. It's still a very fun, cool, interesting film. All right. Here is question number two, A little more recent. This

film came out in twenty fourteen. A young videographer answers an online ad for a one day job in a remote town to record the last messages of a dying man. That dying man is played by Mark Duplas. When he notices the man's odd behavior, the videographer starts to question his intentions. Creep, Creep, free up, what did you put? Yeah? Same? What a great name for a movie, creep. I really like those movies. I need that. They've been on my Netflix queue for many a moon.

I need to just sit watch. I need to watch. I need to watch them because has there been just two or three. There's two two. There's two creep movies, Creep and Creep two. Check them out. Question number three, twenty nineteen, A bride's wedding night takes a sinister turn when her eccentric new in law is forced her to take part in a terrifying game. Riop, I believe it is You're not ready or not? Silence is your guess? Lolo, what is your guess? I also wrote ready or

Not? Another fun one, another fun time at the movie theater. It is ready or not. You may have made this too easy for us, mate, I am not even hesitating. I know again. You're welcome. I could have really gone with some really some tough ones. Question number four, two thousand and two. A journalist must investigate a mysterious videotape which seems to cause the death of anyone one week to the day after they view it. Lola, I put the Ring the Ring, Bria. Do you agree?

I agree? Yeah? It is the Ring based on the Japanese version Ring Gou, which is fun as well. The Ring is what I was going for for question number four. That movie still holds up and is creepy and weird, even though they're talking about videotapes, which really wouldn't do anything to anyone anymore. Number five is from two thousand and eight Oscar. An overlooked and bullied boy finds love and revenge through Eli, a beautiful but peculiar

girl in this beautiful Swedish film Bria. I'm glad you said Swedish because I was a little thrown. I think it's let the let the right one in, but I kept confusing it with another title. But yeah, lolo, what do you think I also put left the right one in? What title? Were you confusing? I was thinking about never let me go, and I kept thinking never let the right never let them in. I was like, never let them in? Good title. I just don't think it's a

movie. And then the American version was let me in. Right. It's all very confusing, it is, but not to you two. You nailed it. You got it right. The correct answer is let the right one in. If you've never seen this film, it is a foreign film, you have to read subtitles in Neanderthals. But it's a great film, moldering and it really is like a great romance. It's like a beautiful love story with vampires with spread Yeah, great question number six. Here we are.

We're at question number six for the year was twenty fourteen. A young woman is followed by an unknown supernatural force after a sexual encounter, maybe a little bit more of a deep cut. Lola, what did you put for number six? I put it follows it follows, Bria. Do you agree? Mm hm. The correct answer is it follows, it follows. It was another like kind of indie darling. Wasn't it that kind of blew up? Oh my god, it got so big, all right? Question number seven

from two thousand and two, four weeks through the math. Four weeks after a mysterious and curable virus spreads throughout the UK, A handful of survivors try to find sanctuary. Uh, Bria, what did you put for number seven? Thank god, it's twenty eight weeks later. That's my twenty eight weeks later. You put twenty eight weeks later, Lola, what did you put? I put twenty eight days later. Four weeks is twenty eight days. Oh god, Killian Murphy. Yes, you gave it on the hilly.

I gave it hints and then this is why I say I still have a little brain fog from the last week of being ill. Yeah, for folks that don't know, Bria's just getting over an illness. I was talking about brain fogging that two thousand. I thought, well, I guess I'm wrong because I was like, I feel like twenty eight days Later came out in the nineties, but maybe it wasn't It feels that long ago. I think when things are about fifteen to twenty five years, it's all of a mashes.

But Killian Murphy is that original? The answer is twenty eight This is so depressing because that's actually one of my favorite movies, is the movie I credit with getting me into horror movies. Wow. I think this is a first though that you're the first person to give like six hints for a question. That answer deserves a splooshe that sounds like me. When you said the UK, I was like, oh wait, is it the ugger right one? Because I get like But then I thought about the length of time and

Bria, actually, you know I had written twenty eight days later. Though, yes, correct answer, it's twenty eight days later. The sequel is twenty eight weeks later. A good film. The first one is fantastic. Finally, question number eight in your pop culture grab Bag twenty thirteen was the year Paranormal Investigator's Ed and Lorraine Warren worked to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse. Lola, The Conjuring, The Conjuring Bria,

do you agree? Yeah? Or is it The Conjuring twenty eight? Oh gracious no, Bria, come back to us. It is the original, the first one, The Conjuring. I love, I love, I love that movie. Not all of them in the in the franchise are the greatest, but they're still fun. Yeah, but I love I loved that first one very very much, Lily Taylor and Via Formiga and I love Shot Out. The last Annabel was totally great, which is in that universe. I like some of those people did not watch it and it was very good.

Yes, I during the pandemic, I did the whole like watch it the you know the timeline of when to watch them. It is the midway point of you should know better. And the score is Bria Grant with eleven Lola Blanc with twelve and a half have a one and a half point lead. Now after two rounds, all right, we are at the midway point. It is Lola Blanc in the lead twelve and a half to Bria Grant's eleven. We are playing with these two wonderful ladies here, playing for great charities.

Lola's playing for friends outside La. You could follow Lola on Instagram at Oola Lola, and you could follow her podcast at trust Me Podcast. And then she's also on Twitter at oh La Lola. And then you can follow Bria Grant who's playing for a Purposeful Rescue. And you can follow Bria Grant on the social media. She's at Bria Grant on Instagram. It's anyone's game. And we are now headed to our third round, Round three, the lightning round. All right, so here we are. We are in the

lightning round. It's our third round. It's different than the other rounds. And Bria, you are trailing at the moment, so you get to go first. Okay, So you could pick from these three things. I just gave them random names. These names have nothing to do with the question nor the answers, but it's just better than one, two, three or ABC. So you can either pick Furbie, a game Boy, or Polly Pocket.

You could pick one of those three things, a Furbye, a game boy, or poll pocket for your question in the lightning round, I'll go Ferby, Go Ferby. All right, Ferby, here is your Furby question, and Lola, you'd be ready to steal some answers because I'm gonna come to you with your five second rebuttal right after Bria is done. I'm gonna say this question twice. Okay, I'm gonna say go, and then I'm gonna hit the start button. You have twenty seconds on the clock to come

up with as many correct answers as possible. Here's the question for Furby per runners blueprint. Name the top nine running shoe brands. I need the brands of running shoes per runners blueprint. Name the top nine running shoe brands. Twenty seconds on the clock and go, oh okay, Nike a six? Oh shoe brands. This is something I really know nothing about. I'm gonna say, uh, Soccans. Is that a brand? You got three? You got Wow, that's honestly, you got Nike, You've got a six,

and you got Socans. You got those three all top nine. Those are all in your top nine. Lola, here is your five second rebuttal to steal some answers. Five seconds on the clock and go Rebuk Jesus fucking Puma. You got reebok Okay Goal Rebok from Bria, So we'll go over the ones you didn't get. Bria got a six Nike and socony A six is number two on the list. So you got even that? Did she say Adidas? I did? You got it? Then? Awesome? Thanks

producer Annie. Well, here's our score, Lola, Gatriebach and Adidas or Adidas. So we got five out of the nine. Here are the ones you didn't get. These are some deeper cuts, but you've heard of some of these. I've been a staunch advocate of these. They were number one on the list, which made me feel better about my purchases. Brooks Brooks running shoes. They're really They're really great. They're really great. Hokahs.

Those are new shoes that everyone's wearing. They have tons of cushion hokas h You'll see a lot of people wearing them. Now that you know what it is, you'll see a lot of people wearing Hokahs nowadays. An old go to new balance, New balance all great. The one I didn't know of that I had never really heard of is called Ultra. I think that might be new or a l t r A Ultras running shoes. But you did great, you did great fun lightning round for Bria. Now we're flipping it

all around. It's Lola chance to get in here. Now you can choose either a game Boy or Polly Pocket for your question. Wow, I'm a lady. I have to go with Polly Pocket. You are a lady. Here is your question. I will read it twice. I will say, go and hit the button. Ria, you sit tight and write some answers down. See if you can steal some of these. All right, another subjective question, So just I think it's better to just say as many things

as you possibly can for Polly Pocket. This is via Rolling Stone Magazine. Rolling Stone Magazine came up with their top nine greatest musical artists of all times, bands and or solo artists. The top nine Greatest artists of all time via Rolling Stone Magazine and a go the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Prince You, two guests, Radiohead, fuck other bands, other bands, Oh, Queen, Bruce Springsteen? What else is there? Who is around? Dolly Parton? Why not stop? You got to? You got?

The Beatles and the Stones were definitely in their their their top four, the Beatles and Rolling Stones. You got two, all right, Bria Grant, it's your chance for your five second rebuttal. That's only two. Shocked. It's very subjective. So you're queen wasn't in there. I know it's bs. It's very subjective. Blame Rolling Stone. Send letters to them, Bria, your five second rebuttal. The top nine greatest artists of all time be a Rolling Stone magazine and to go ah, the sex Pistols, the

Ramones, Adele, people love Adele, what about her? Stop? Oh that's great? All great bands. You guys mentioned all of the great bands, but you did not get any correct on your rebuttle. Let's go around this is it's a rolling Stone magazine. So when you hear these you'll I'm sure your eyes will roll and you'll go, of course, miss some of these, but that's fun in the polly pocket round. It was the top nine greatest arts of all time bea Rolling Stone magazine. You got the Beatles,

they were number one. Number two Bob Dylan, Dylan, Bobby with all those accolades for all the writing he did. Number three, the King of rock and roll, Elvis Presley, the Yeah Yeah. Then there's some other old school ones. Chuck Berry, Chuck Berry was okay, number six, Jimmy Hendricks number seven, the Godfather of soul, James Brown Baby number eight, older, Yeah, that's the thing. Little Richard is number eight, and then the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin was It's a tough lightning

round, but it was fun. It was super fun, and we have a score update after the lightning round. The game boy question will just go back into the hopper for a future game? Was more a geography questions or bad? Oh? Thank god, I have Nola adel my brain. I love that. That was great. Everyone loves Adele. Everyone loves her. I don't know. She seems like she know she is a widely renowned artist,

yet he really is. So here is your score update. After three rounds, we have Bria Grant with fourteen points and Lola Blanc with sixteen and a half. Two and a half points. Wow, but she could steal it from me at any time in this next round. Exactly exactly. It's an entirely geography based brand. Okay, it is time for your fourth and final round, Round four, the double duty again. Lola Blanc is in the lead sixteen and a half to Bria Grant's fourteen. So it's anyone's game.

Because we are now ready for the Theodore Double do the Radcliffe round. It's called double duty because points are doubled. There are nine questions instead of eight, so o there are eighteen huge points up for grabs in this round. Today we're doing a theme round and I'll explain that for the people playing at home. The theme round, So there are going to be kind of eight The first eight out of the nine questions are going to seem like general

knowledge questions. Question number nine will be what is the theme? So the theme lies within your answers to the first eight questions of this round. Hopefully your brains can latch onto either the theme or your answers will inform you of what the theme is. And that again is question number nine is what is the theme of this theme round? In the double Duty round? So here we go. Question number one in your theme round? Oh my gosh,

it is kind of a geography question. Speak of the devil, damn Itlympia. The city of Olympia is the capital of what US state? Olympia? What what is the state where Olympia is the capital? I think I know the theme. The rest is easy peasy, because you got you guys feel good about Question number one. Yeah, yeah, oh, okay, great, fantastic, all right, Question number two. If John F. Kennedy was the thirty fifth president, who was the thirty third president? Oh god,

name the thirty third president of these here United States? He was number thirty three, I'll give you the hint that JFK was number thirty five. No idea, no idea. Uh have so much troubles. I also, I literally cannot think of a president that ever wore him that wasn't one of the first three. Okay, cool, We're just gonna this could be one

though. Where as we go further along, yeah, you might figure out the theme which that light bulb will go off for question number two and you go, oh snap, okay, all right, all right, here we go. Question number three. What dessert is the title of the nineteen ninety hair metal song by the band Warrant. They had a huge hit. The hair metal band Warrant had a huge hit song in nineteen ninety. The title

is what dessert is the title of that song? Uh, this could be before your time, Lola, an actual dessert and not an ingredient for actual entire dessert. Shit, it's not a spoon of vanilla. That is not the answer to question number three. Okay, well listen or to suggests that would be a shitty name for a song two egg whites and a Pinchon question number three again, what dessert is the title of the nineteen ninety hair metal song by the band Warrant. It was everywhere I think for at least a

half a year. They're one hit. It maybe had a They maybe had a couple more hits, but that was their big hit for sure. Moving along question number four, I think you both have this one. What Hitchcock movie has the famous scene where Carry Grant runs for his life from a low flying crop duster airplane? Name that film? Oh? Famous scene Hitchcock film is the famous scene where Carrie Grant runs for his life in an excellent So he's wearing an excellent suit by the way, Oh, I don't know.

He runs for his life from a low flying crop duster airplane. Now that film, don't know. I only can think of two Hitchcock movies that I don't think are that Question number five? What CNN news person hosts the show three sixty. What CNN news person hosts the show three sixty? Oh my god, I have no idea. I don't three hundred and sixty degrees, three hundred and sixty. Is it every night or is it once a week? We can't. We don't know. I think it's I think it's maybe

one of those five five five days a week shows. I think I know who it is. But if that's true, I have I still have no idea what the theme is. So maybe I don't know who it is, or maybe you do know you're just lying to throw Bria off your trail, That's what it is. A what CNN news person hosts the show three sixty For question number five? All right, desserts, okay, okay, here we go. Question number six is a fun one. I hope you think it is a fun one as well. What toy commercial from the Ren and

Stimpy show had the jingle it's big, it's heavy, it's wood. Can you name that toy that was in a toy commercial during the Ren and Stimpy cartoons. It was a real toy, it's a fake toy. It was in the TV show. They had a fake TV commercial, Come on for a toy and the jingle was, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood. All right. Seven, you guys got you got? Question seven? I can feel it in my bones. What drink named for an athlete is a mixture of lemonade and iced tea? Name that drink named after an athlete

For question number seven, what drink named for an athlete is a mixture of lemonade and iced tea? This theme feels like a stretch and I cannot figure out. I don't know, I don't know. It's the theme round, all right? Question number eight is your final kind of general knowledge question,

and then question nine, of course will be what is the theme? But here we are at number nine, who played Sue Sylvester on Glee and is the current host of the game show The Weakest Link. Number eight, who played Sue Sylvester on Glee. I think she won a bunch of Emmys and is the current host of the game show The Weakest Link. They brought that game show back, and she is the sarcastic, smarmy, poking, fun of the contestants host is her last name? What is her last name?

I know her first name? Oh, that is her last name. That is your question for number eight, and that can inform a lot of the rest of your questions. Question nine is what is the theme? I think I saw a huge light bulb? I do you know the thing? Wait? I'm sorry, here we go pencils down. In your fourth and final round between Lola Blank and Bria Grant, it was your Theodore double Duty Radcliffe Round nine, questions points are doubled, eighteen points up for grabs, and

it was a theme round. Let's go through our answers. Question number one, Olympia is the capital of what state? Lola, Washington? Washington State? With that Washington? Uh, Bria, what did you put? Yes? Also Washington based after the whole song. Obviously, that's how I know the capital of Washington. Everyone knows it because of the whole song. A song, A song by the band Hole the grunge scene in Washington State. You both got that correct. The scores stay the same. Let's see if

question two. Question number two, if John F. Kennedy or JFK was the thirty fifth president of these here United States, who was the thirty third Bria, I should be so ashamed that I don't know this answer. I'm gonna guess. Oh wait, oh, I sorry, I have something written down, and now my brain is trying to figure out if there's like with the theme. I will allow you to change it, but you must change

it in the next five seconds. I'm gonna go LBJ L b J for Bria Grant Lyndon Baines Johnson, Lolo, what did you put over Cleveland? Cleveland that is a president you were so worried about just not knowing any president. One that's a president and he was president twice. He was president, then someone else was president and Cleveland came back again. The correct answer thirty third. You got JFK was thirty five, Dwight David Eisenhower was thirty four,

and FDR was thirty two. So who's in between That would be Harry S. Truman. Urry S. Truman is your thirty third president. I originally had Eisenhower. Thought that's a great guest. I don't know some reason because the theme, I was like, it's somebody else, it's not Eisenhower. Eisenhower. Well, the theme made me think that Cleveland was the name of someone. It's a good guest. Okay, guest. Well, you don't get the two points, so the score again at least miss the same

one. The same Here we go question number three. Let's get a little hair metal. What dessert is the title of the nineteen ninety hair metal song by the band Warrant. Lola, did you come up with a guest? Here's my guest? Apple Pie summer Rio? What did you put? I've put cherry pie. Oh, you both picked pies. One of you is correct. She's my Oh, cherry pie, she's my cherry pie by Warrant, it is cherry may half of it. I can't give you the hub on this one. I just can't. It is cherry pie for number three,

which makes the scores very interesting. Going into question number four, what Hitchcock movie has the famous scene where Carrie Grant runs for his life from a low flying crop duster Airplanebria, I truly don't know this one, and I guessed Vertigo. I don't know. I literally don't know. Guess Vertigo. Great film, Lola, What did you put? Oh? I feel like that was a really good guest, Bria. And now I'm jealous of your guests, because my guess is Rope was my second guess. Actually, that

is one of my favorite Hitchcock films of all time. Rope. It's a lesser known one. Good call Rear Window because I was like rear Window, but me too, But then I was like, this is a rare window. I believe that's jim Jimmy Stewart. Sure, thank you. Jimmy Stewart is in Rope, He's in Vertigo, and he's in Rear Window. I'd loved using Jimmy Stewart. Jimmy Stewart the correct answer. There's also a famous scene I believe in this movie where there it finishes on the top of Mount

Rushmore, and that would be north by Northwest by north West. For number four, I need to go on like a Hitchcock binge and actually learn these movies. I just bought a box set of four of you know, four of his main ones. I think I got The Birds, Psycho, Vertigo, and Rear Window. I have a similar box set that I've had for like a decade, and I've ever watched What is Wrong Always a good time? Question Number five what CNN newsperson hosts the show three sixty Lola, Anderson

Cooper, Anderson Cooper. Great guest, Bria, who did you pull That's right? That's great because based on the theme that is right. I put Rachel Maddow because she was on the MSNBC and I think she just left MSNBC. She is in the midst of leaving. It is silver Fox and the host of my Jeopardy episodes. Anderson, Cooper and Cooper got one for those at home and you playing today. He was an incredible gent. He was a really excellent person. He was so nice and kind to all of us

that were playing that day on Jeopardy. Very cool, dude. Question number six, what toy commercial from the Ren and Stimpy Show had the jingle it's big, it's heavy, It's Would Bria start us off with this one? It's it's log, It's better than bad, it's good, it's log. Lola, I'm sorry that this was before your time and you didn't have cable television until Yeah, it's not fair thirty seven years old. Lola, what did you put? Did you have a good guess? I might give you

a point if it's creative. I just put baseball bat. I don't know, I don't know. That's a great guess, but it is, in fact it's log. It's log, it's big, it's heavy, it's oh FuG that makes so much sense with the theme. Why didn't I think of that? You're gonna love it log. I want to get your log log from Blamo. God damn it. Uh it is log from Blamo for number six? Question number seven? What drink named for an athlete? Is a mixture of lemonade and iced tea? Lola Arnold Palmer, Bria, do you

agree? I am? It is an Arnie Palmer on Arnold Palmer? Is that drink name for that mixture? Question number eight? Who played Sue Sylvester on Glee and is the current host of the game show They brought it back the weakest link Bria. Jane Lynch. Jane Lynch, Lola, what did you put for number eight? I also put Jane Lynch, and thank god because I would never have known what the fuck tied these to be Glad.

I always try to save that last giveaway for the end. It was, in fact, Miss Jane Lynch. So it all comes down to this question number nine, What is the theme? Lola Blanc Twin Peaks, Twin Peaks great guests, Bria Grant, what do you I agree? At first I wrote David Lynch, and I was saying, oh, David Lynch, and then I was trying to fit all the and then I was like, no, it's actually more specific. It's Twin Peaks. Yeah, the correct answer

is the incredible television series Twin p That answer deserves a huzzah. We had Washington State. Harry S. Truman was the sheriff in Twins played by Michael aunt Keen sheriff who had the name Harry S. Truman Harret Pye. They would always order that with a damn good cup of coffee. Yeah, yeah, I gotta call me an incredible game. Lola Blanc, you are the smartest person in the world for one week. Wow, which bad guess is. It's a real honor. That is the closest game we've had to date. Wow. When I believe is the closest and until we get into smaller fractions,

that is one hell of a game. But the game is not over. We still got one more step to go. But before we get to that, I want to reintroduce our guests. We just had an incredible game. Bria Grant. I will read it to the masses. Bria, you could even play along if you want, Lola, you're gonna get first crack at the answer. Take as much time as you want. I can either agree with you or come up with my own answer. And then, no matter what, we're going

to learn a little bit about this answer. So Annie, our producer, without further ado, reveal the final throwdown question. I'll read it a couple times. Here we go. The earliest recorded autopsy was performed on what historical figure? She sh The earliest recorded autopsy was performed on what historical figure? Wow, that's a great question I'm excited to learn about. Yeah, no, no idea, but uh, take take your time, or if you

have a guest right away, let me know. I mean, I have no way to make an educated guess here, so I'm just gonna make a guess and not be precious about it. I'm gonna say the Shakespeare Shakespeare. Great guess. The earliest recorded autopsy was performed on what historical figure you have? William Shakespeare? I'm gonna say Julius Caesar for no reason, just that he's old school and he was murdered and maybe they did an autopsy or something

that is much older. Oh, it probably is much older. I'm gonna say, Julie Caesar. So we have William Shakespeare, right, that's what you said, or Julius Caesar, which was a play by Shakespeare. So we're saying in that theme, all right, Annie, reveal our answer that we're gonna learn. Oh go what wow? I literally was like, way too long ago. I thought you were guessing so too long, far long ago. I swear that's crazy. That makes sense though, Oh bibles that

I did not know what this answer? The correct answer, crazy, Julius Caesar is your answer. Let's learn about this. Holy I can't believe I pulled that out. That is the biggest pull from my ass I've had in many moons. Julius, here we go. A group of senators assassinated Caesar on March fifteenth, forty four before the common Era. That was a long time ago, over two thousand years ago. A group of senators killed Julius Caesar. Caesar was delivered to a doctor who examined the body and wrote a

report that was presented to the people of Rome. It was determined that Caesar was stabbed twenty three times, but only one of those wounds was the fatal blow and now we know. Holy cow, wow, that is crazy. I impressed myself on that one. It was so fun to have both Bria Grant and Lola Blanc on the show. We are happy you Should Know Better to make donations to both your charities again. I'll pump them one more time. A purposeful rescue and friends outside Los Angeles are going to get a donation
