What's the opposite of woke Josh? Gosh is asleep. He just booked this great campaign where he's the spokesperson for Planet Fitness. You saw that commercial, like all all year so far and hopefully for the
rest of this year. Their podcast that Joel and Jeff do is called Meeting a Cruise. It's on iHeartRadio. But please welcome my friend Jeff meat him. Hey buddy, it's meeting Tom Cruise. See our handle is just meeting Cruise. We couldn't get meeting Tom Cruise. It's and obviously that means he hasn't listened to our podcast Joel and h Yeah yeah yet yet Joel, Jeff, I should say, what a chair? What are you playing for today? Mister meachamwater dot org. I believe everybody needs water. You guys met
in London doing Shakespeare together. We'll get into that story. Sorry, that's where we do need to correct you at Oxford. Oh that's rights, we will we will edit that out. That is just discussed. Round round one we'll have our first score update. But again, don't be dismayed or don't be too cock after round one because there's plenty of trivia after this. Let's go through our answers Round one. Question number one was what is the second book in the Chronicles of Narnia book series? Joel
Johnstone? What did you put for number one? Prince Caspian? Jeff Meachim, what did you put? The Lion, the Witch, and the wardrobe? Two? Electric boogaloo? The correct answer is Prince Caspian. Ah, Prince Caspian is number two. Then I think it's the Voyage of the Dawn Trader and the Silver Chair and the Magician's nephew and a bunch of other bullshit. Prince Caspian is what I was looking for. For number one. It's one nothing. Don't be a scared meet him question, don't worry? Question
number two? What US state is known as the Land of Enchantment? Jeff? What did you put for number two? I took a guest with Alaska. Alaska is a good guest. Joel, what did you put? That's a great guess? Delaware? Delaware? I was thinking about you guys are not really close. It's it's closer to us. It's not Arizona. It's the neighbor to Arizona. That funky New Mexico. At that yellow license plate that the sun in the middle, cool sun. It is called the Land
of Enchantment. Now you'll never forget New Mexico. That's lies. Yeah. Question number three, what female directed the twenty twenty one Marvel movie Eternals jj oscar Winning Chloe's out Jeff Meachim, I'm putting Jane Champion. I don't know. I discussed one female director that I know, Jane Campion Champion. It's fine, It's okay. It's just International Women's Day that we're recording this episode on. All right, right, so yeah, the correct answer from Nomadland
Andy Journals Chloe Jow okay. Question number four chemistry class, Oh, what is the periodic table symbol for the element sodium? It's not s What is that symbol? Jeff Meachum, s U s U. Good guess, Joel Johnstone, what did you put s O, s U or s O It is neither of those. I had to look this up. If you if you did take chemistry, I do actually remember this because it was in like every everything you did in chemistry, sodium is NA NA and you're like, why is it NA? I had to look it up f you and yeah,
there we go. So I'm gonna give you a little tidbit because I looked this up and learned this, I'm like, why is it na? I didn't know that until I looked it up. It's symbol is derived from the Latin natrium or abbe kick natron, or the Egyptian word entree or natroon, all which refer to soda or sodium carbonate. I didn't know that, so all of them had links to this natrium or whatever. I was like, I didn't know. That's why it's na. Sodium NA. Is your
answer question number five? After Stalin died in nineteen fifty three, who succeeded him, mister Johnstone Lenin? Lenin is your guest, Jeff Meacham, What did you put? That's a great guess. I went with the wrong answer, which is Gorbachev, which I know is not right, but went with it anyway. One of you was too early, one of you was too late. It was Nikita Khrushev. Khrushev, mister Khrushchev, thing s sting
bud nick in the air. Yes, thing has a song, So Nikita Khrushev, I think He's famous for banging a shoe on a podium too. Nikita Krushev. I don't know much about him, but he succeeded the ahole Joseph stalin question number six, who said, give a hoot, don't pollute Jeffrey I went with again Gorbachev A That answer deserves a Splooshe not only did he have that incredible birthmark, but he hated littering. I mean, literally, no idea. It was the owl, wasn't it The owl said it?
But he just couldn't Soviet Union together. I mean, I don't think the owl is the right answer, but it was some owl that said it was an owl. You almost get like a quarter of a point. Wasn't it the Hershey's owl, Mikail the owl? No, the cartoon owl? Hoody, Oh my gosh, so close. Great guesses, jeff I think you're getting mixed up with the Tutsie. Yeah, that's like mister owl. How many licks does it take to gets like? One? Two, three,
three? That's that's mister owl from Tutsie Pops. The one that hated littering was Woodsy Owl. Woodsy pretty on the nose, but he was the spokes owl. I guess for not littering. Disagree. I think it was Gorbachev anyway, Woodsy Owl was the one that said, give a hoot, don't polut would see Question number seven. John Amos played the adult Kunta Kinte and Toby and Roots, James Evans the Father on good Times and what character in coming to America? Joel. If I don't get this, I'm over
eight the Great King of Simunda, the James Jones Father. I no, I'm not going to give it to you, King Joffy, Jofa or whatever you're thinking of. Jeff Meachim, what's your guess? McDowell? The correct answer is Cleo McDowell from McDowell's Restaurants, not McDonald's. They had the Golden Arcs, not the Golden Arches. Oh god, they wouldn't get sued by McDonald's. It was Cleo McDowell. Question R eight your final question for round
one. Clara Barton founded what famous organization? Jeff, I think we go to you on this one. Yeah, I just took a stab and said the Red Cross. Joel Johnstone, what did you put? Uh you're talking about Clara Barton? Yeah? Not not well found? The Barton Fink School for Screenwriting. Ah, that should get a point for I like that or imagination the correct answer she was a nurse in the Civil War. I did know she was a nurse and started the American Red God Cross. Jeff,
no, no, I must have known something inside the closer. I think I must have been somewhere in the back. I must have known that. Because what's fantastic is after round one. Oh, I got tied. You're tied at two. I mean I was. I was. I was swinging too, I was zero for six and I tie. Let's do this ship gosh two to two after round one with Jeff Meacham and Joel Johnstone. This is so fun. It's so great to see you guys. We're all playing for charity, win or lose, but I love a tie game. Going
into round two. Round two. Pop culture grab bag. Pop culture grab bag. Oh, buddy, pop culture grab bag. It could be anything. It could be television, it could be film, it could be you know, sports and other things. This is us, this is us tonight
as we record. It's music. It's a music. Round eight questions in your second round pop culture grab bag, Here we go, Oh, question number one, what hip hop Legends had albums entitled King of Rock, Raising Hell, and Tougher Than Leather. I think I owned all of these on cassette. What hip hop legends had albums entitled King of Rock, Raising Hell and Tougher Than Leather? Is question number one and your music pop culture grab
bag. Question number two. Besides Jim Morrison, can you name anybody else that was in the band The Doors? No, no, we all know, We all know mister Mojo Risen Jim Morrison, the sexy lead singer of the Doors. Can you name anybody else that was in that band? Classic rock band The Doors, an la band many hits. That is your question for number two. Question number three, this is your sweet spot, This
is hard. What classical composer? Uh oh, what classical composer wrote the operas The Marriage of Figaro, the Magic Flute, and Don Giovanni, three of the most popular operas ever. What classical composer wrote those three operas, The Marriage of Figaro, the Magic Flute, and Don Giovanni? All right? Question number four? Question number four, who was the lead singer of the new wave band Blondie? We all know those songs Blondie, Heart of Glass, Rapture, the tide is high? Who is the lead singer for
the band Blondie? Question number five, Question number five. These are song titles. The songs Time, the Great Gig in the Sky, Money, and brain Damage are just a few of the songs off What Epic Classic Rock album? Time, the Great Gig in the Sky, Money, and brain Damage are songs off what Epic classic rock album? That is question number five out of eight in your round two musical pop culture grab bag? Are you guys hating me right now? I'm still struggling on four. Like, I
know I got it wrong. I know I got her name wrong, and so I'm just trying to think of, like again, last names, suffice. That's all you need in any of these questions. A last name will do, And I'll be very lenient even if you're close. I like to give people points. We're playing for charity. But again we're tied two to two going into this round, so it's anyone's game. It's exciting. Question number six, Question number six, A little jazz question. Charles Mingus,
Jeff, just give it to Jeff, give it to Carls. Mingus was a talented jazz pianist, but what he was a virtuoso on what other jazz instrument the one he's kind of knows known for Charles Mingus? What is the other uh jazz instrument that he's kind of a savant, He's kind of a wunderkind. He was kind of peerless on this instrument. Question number seven. Were almost at the halfway point already. Name one of the two backup bands
for mister Elvis Costello. He's had a couple different backup bands, Elvis Costello and the what he played with one band for a long time and then he kind of went with another band as his backup band. Name one of the two backup bands for mister Elvis Costello for question number seven. All right, finally, question number eight, your final question in the pop culture grab Bag Round two round of you should know better? What singer had hits with the
songs I fall to pieces Walking after Midnight and Crazy? What singer had hits with the songs I fall to pieces Walking after Midnight and Crazy? What singer had hits with the songs I fall to pieces Walking after Midnight and Crazy? So we kind of went all over the map in the world of music. For your second round, give these guys a few more moments to come up with some answers. Pencils down were ready to go over our answers with Joel
Johnstone and Jeff Meacham. Here around o pop culture grab bag. It was a music round. Question Number one was what hip hop legends had albums titled King of Rock, Raising Hell and Tougher than Leather. Mister Meachim, I guess run DMC. Joel Johnstone, what did you put for number one? Same? That's exactly what I got the correct answer. Hit it, Run run d MC. It's trick to rock around, to rock around. That's right on time. It's trick. Yes, incredible. I have a couple
of those titles on a vinyl that they re released. So good, so much. Playing Christmas in Hollis for for for my son, this this past Christmas and fantastic. Question number two toughye for you guys. Besides Jim Morrison, can you name another member of the Doors, mister Johnstone? Okay, I don't have a fucking clue, but I feel like I should get extra credit because I can name two of the the actors who played them in the movie Bell Killmore, at Val Kilmer and Frank Wayley. I like Killmore better.
Ye, like I was looking at something in Vegas, the guy who does his Vegas show and Frank Whaey, I feel like I should get some credis. That's great Frank Whaley, great character actor. Jeff Meacham, what did you put for number two? Uh? You said I could just go with last name, so I went with Smith. That's a great guess, it is not correct. I like the strategy though, strategy Smith Robertson Johnson. I believe I know the instruments. John Densmore is the guy that's always
forgotten. No one remembers John Densmore, like even I think people and his family forget that he was in the doors. He was the drummer I believe on the doors Robbie Kreeger. Robbie Kreeger was their lead guitarist, and Raymond zerk was the guy with the glasses that played the organ and also played the bass parts with his feet, so he was kind of the keyboardist. And basically they didn't really have a bass player. So raymn Zeric is probably the
most famous besides Jim Morrison. So you have ray man Zak, Robbi Kreeger or John Densmore for those playing at home. What great eighties kind of sci fi action awesomeness movie opens with people are strange, the doors, people are strange. The whole opening sequence of what eighties film that we all saw. I'll give you a hint that Corey Haym and Corey Feldman were in the movie. Oh oh yeah, the Lost Boys. The Lost Boys. People are
strange, the opening sequence. I like you taking over hosting duties a little bit there. I just wanted to just say, hey, if it's a game, if this was eighties movies, I think I think I get my ass Anonymy, Jeff, Jeff, would I loved it? That's fantastic. Always jump in question number three? What classical composer wrote the operas The Marriage of Figuro, The Magic Flute and Don Giovanni Jeff, I'm not even sure if I'm saying this name right. And it was a guest Chopin Chopin jo
Japan, Frederick was. He was friends with Val Kilmore, Gilmore, Frederic Choppin, Henry Chapin, Joel Johnstone. What did you put for number three? The answer is Wolf being Amadeus Mozart. The correct answer is the goat Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. That answer deserves a huzza, famous for writing those three. They're Italian. But you know, if you're right, you got to do it in Italian. So I thought it was I thought it was a little harder than that. It is Mozart. It is Mozart. I didn't
go too deep, you know, for a classical music question. Chopin The only thing I know. If you ever are watching Jeopardy and they say anything about a Polish composer, it is Frederic Chopin, just say Chopin. You'll be right ninety nine point nine percent of the time. Frederick Chopin is Polish Jeopardy. Just a little clue for all of all those playing at home. Question number four, who was the lead singer of the new wave band Blood? Who are we up to? I think it's Joel's go this time?
Yeah? Easy? Blondie, Blondie, Blondie, Cheryl Blondie, Jeff, What did you put? I don't know. I said Janis Joplin, which is completely wrong. Her name. You've probably heard this name. I would think you've heard this name. Her name was Debbie Harry, Debbie Harry or Deborah Harry. What was her name, you would think Bondy. She had blonde hair, so growing up I thought her name was just Blondie. It's like, no, I'm guessing somebody called her Blondie at some point in her
life, in which case my answer is not entirely wrong. So again I'm gonna get correct point point. I'll go point two. I'll go point too. Sure, give yourselves point. Let's keep my own score here. The answer for number four was Debbie Harry. Question five, the song's time, the Great, Gig in the Sky, Money and brain Damage are songs off what epic classic rock album? Jeff the Wall Great Joel Johnstone, what did you put Dark Side of the Moon? You both picked Pink Floyd albums.
It is the Pink Floyd album. The correct answer is Dark Side of the Moon. Wow, now he's up to Dark Side of the Moon is answer question number six. Charles Mingus was a talented jazz pianist, but was a virtuo So on what other instrument? Joel Total guest clarinet? Clarinet? Just like Benny Goodman. Jeff Meacham, what did you put when trumpet? Both great guesses both used a ton in the music of jazz. He was a bass player. He was a bass double bass player. Charles Mingus Another.
If you again, if you listen to music on whatever, you listen to Apple Music or Spotify or whatever, you listen to CDs, cassettes, reel to reels, Charles Mingus worth a listen. The dude is a is a freak in a good way. On the base question number seven, named one of the two backup bands for mister Elvis Costello. Jeff, uh, Well, this is obviously right. The EA Street Band, Elvis Costello in the EA Street Band. He stole them from the boss Joel Never know, I
mean they needed money. Somebody did tell me this one time, and I forgot it, but I just remembered that Elvis Costello's backup band was the Backstreet Boys. Ah, the EAS Street Band and the Backstreet Boys came to me both very lovely, imaginative answers, but not correct. Not correct. The
two that you could have chosen from are Elvis Costello and the Attractions. I think that was the band that he kind of came up with his first like five or six album, Elvis Costello in the Attractions, and then later in his career he had the Impostors so you either had the Attractions or Elvis Costello and the Impostors. That's the one that somebody told me and it went in one year. And yeah, Mike, where are we on worst contestants ever?
On your podcast? Just? Where are we in the ring? It's very early in our recording history, but like you guys are right there. You guys are right there with that right there at the at the bottom, right there. I just want to make sure we're where were we at? We're final question question number eight of round two? What singer head hits with the songs I fall to, pieces, Walking after Midnight and crazy? Mister Joel Patsy Cline. Patsy Klein is your guest. Jeff Meachen, what did
you put? I did figure it out. It is Patsy Kline. It is the late great Patsy Kline. What a voice on that lady. I love her more than most. Patsy Klein is your answer for number eight. We will get Annie to tally up your scores for pop Culture grab Bag. We do have a new leader after two rounds, Mister Joel Johnstone has taken a command six to four lead. Joel, I'm not comfortable with that. Color would you like on the sweet scoreboard? Oh God, I knew he
was going to go blue. God, he always goes blue. Here we are. We're at the midway point. Joel Johnstone is leading Jeff Meachum six to four, two rounds, not comfortably. It's very tight, and we're heading into our third round, round three, the lightning round, the lightning round. All right, so since you are trailing mister Meacham sixty four, you get to pick from the three lightning round categories. First, I didn't label the categories ABC or one, two three. I had to come up
with something imaginative. These don't have anything to do with the questions or the answers, but at least something you can pick from. You can pick from either La gear k Swiss or British Knights La gear k Swiss or British Knights. Those are the categories you can choose from. K Swiss, because that's the one that I know at least about. Okay, k Swiss, I think this is gonna be a good one for you, K Swiss. All right, you're gonna get twenty seconds to get as many of these as writing.
I'm just shouting things now. Yes, I'll try and keep tabs, and so will Annie, our producer. So yeah, I just say free associate, because twenty seconds goes by very quick. Joel, you you can write stuff down because I'm gonna come to you for your five second rebuttal almost right after Jeff is done. I'm gonna say the question twice, okay, and then I'm gonna say go, and then I'm gonna start the clock.
So I need for you to name Stanley Kubrick's last nine films. These are films that are after the movie Paths of the Glory, that black and white film with Kirk Douglass. So these are Kubricks. Do I have to name him in order? Or I just movies Kubrick's last nine films, twenty seconds on the Clock and Go, Okay, Barry Linden, Eyes Wide Shuts, The Shining, The Bomb One, The Doctor Strange Love, Barry Linden, The Shining Dutch. I feel like I'm missing a huge film in there.
Stop. You got four of them already. You got Eyes Wide Shut, The Shining, Barry Linden, and Doctor Strangelove. Joel, I'm coming to you for your five second rebuttal. Stanley Kubrick's last nine films and go two thousand and one, Space out of Sea, Lolita, Full Metal Jacket. You got three, you got three, you got Full Metal Jacket, two thousand and one, A Space out of Sea and Lolita. You believe I ever got two thousand and one. It happens because again it's time as the
one. I can't do the ones that he already got. Correct, you cannot, you cannot. So you did great though you stole three. Jeff got four the ones we didn't get to. Let's see, so that's seven out of the nine. I could see the post one with Douglas or we miss a whole that was? That was that was Pasitive Glory. What was the one that shot all in candlelight? That was Barry Lyndon, which Jared
very famously All natural Light shot for Barry Lyndon. We can get Alex and his four drugs based on the anthem novel Clockwork Orange and then miss I Am Spartacus. I Am Spartacus. Oh that's why he did direct Spartacus. I Am Spartacus. He did that after Paths of Glory. No, that's what I meant with Kirk Douglas, That's what I was thinking. Of yep, that was great. You guys did great four to three in the Stanley Kubrick round. Okay, so k Swiss out of commission. No more k Swiss.
So Joel, it's your turn in barrel. You can choose either La Gear or British Knights. No Fela in this I almost went with Fila. Let me go, let me go La Gear, La Gear. So British Knights will go back into the hopper for another game. Okay, La Gear is your question? All right? This should be a fun one as well. All right from you. I need the Simpsons supporting cast characters with the most lines in the first like almost thirty seasons. So it's no one in
the family. It's no Marge, no Homer, no Grandpa, no Bart, no Les. It's all the ancillary characters the most, the top nine that had the most lines on the Simpsons. Twenty seconds on the clock, Joel, and go mister Burns, Smithers, mow aboo u Barne Barney. God, people are gonna shoot me. Uh stop. You got mister Burns and most sis Lack. You had a third one that I almost gave you,
but you didn't pronounce the name correctly. So I can only give you two Joel your five second rebuttal Simpson's supporting cast characters with the most lines, mister Meacham five seconds on the clock and go Smithers, Smiths, Smitters, Smickers, Shah Moon. No, Whalen. Smithers was not on this list, which was very surprising. He was not in the first All the people he named there were not none of those. Mo. He got burns and most is like he said, a boo, not a pooh. It's a
pooh boo is from Aladdin. Yeah, so you got Burns and says like. Those were the top two. So you got the top two. You didn't get Principal Seymour Skinner, the Principal, Ned Flanders, the neighbor idly Ho Krusty the clown Crusty was I thought he was later in the in the Chief Wigham Chief Clancy Wigham, Nice work Toys, Kent Brockman, the Newsman, Ken and Barney are not in the Uh got Mo? You got Mo
and Monny Burns were the top two. And then the other one that you guys didn't get was Millhouse Sparts from that was a very fun lightning round. Our third round out of four, and after three rounds we have mister Joel Johnstone in the lead eleven to eight over Jeff, I'm not comfortable. Not comfortable. You shouldn't be comfortable. Shouldn't be comfortable. We're playing with Joel Johnstone who's playing for the Covenant House, Jeff Meacham who's playing for water dot

It is the fourth round which is our Theodore Double Duty Radcliffe round. It's called the double Duty because points are doubled in round four and there are nine questions. So that means there are eighteen big points. Oh my god, it's on the board. It might as well be tied. This is it's anybody's game. It's an eleven to eight. Joel is in the lead. I think you guys
are going to enjoy this, or maybe not. We'll see. The category is Tom Cruise Sports and Numbers and Numbers and Tom Cruise Sports and Numbers. There are nine questions in this round. Pencils ready, here we go in the final round. Question number one, Willy Mays, the say Hey Kid, and speaking of kids, Ken Griffy Junior wore what similar jersey number? Willy Mays and Ken Griffy Jr. Wore the same number on their jerseys, and maybe they wore some other number, like late in their career. It's
like, now, this is the number they're known for. Willy Mays, the say Hey Kid, and Ken Griffy Junior wore this number. That's your question for number one. Sweet swinging Ken Griffy Jr. Most perfect swing base incredible. If he didn't get hurt late in his years, he'd have both all the numbers, every every record, the records. Question number two in your Sports and Numbers round. Wimbledon is what number of the Grand Slam events
in a calendar year Wimbledon. That's a layup for mister meacham. Wimbledon is what number Grand Slam in a calendar year? Where does that show up in the Literally the only layup so far I've had in this entire the only question so far where I'm like, definitely if this is you're welcome. If this entire thing we're tennis, I would lose nine nothing. The rest of the questions are about Evan Goolagong. So Jeff is going to win. You should know better. That's a poll question, is a you are so good to
even go to von Lendall. It's crazy. Question number three, Question number three in your Sports and Numbers Final round, Jackie Joiner Cursey, regarded as one of the or the best female athletes ever, won medals in both the long jump and what other track and field event? Jackie Joinner Cursey. Again, remember the category sports and Numbers. Jackie Joinner Cursey, regarded as one of the best female athletes ever, won medals in both the long jump and
what other track and field event? All right, Question numero quatro name the triple Crown events in horse racing. Just named the three races in horse racing that make up the Triple Crown. For question number four, I will need all three for you guys to get the two points. Definitely got one. I definitely got one point. Question number five. This question wouldn't have been so interesting a number of years ago, but now it is. How many
schools are currently in the Big Ten? How many colleges and universities make up the Big ten currently? That is your question number five. In the Double Duty Radcliffe Round, we're heading down the home stretch of this Sports and Numbers category. Question number six. I like this one a lot. Mario Lemieux and Yarramir Yager wore jersey numbers that were just two numbers apart. Can you name those numbers? That's like if I wore number one and one of you
guys wore number three, there are two jersey numbers. They're just two numbers apart. Can you name both Yarmor Yager and Mario Lemux Pittsburgh Penguin len Can you name their jersey numbers or so? Yeah? That was question six out of nine. Yarmar Yagar is still playing hockey. I think he's fifty he's still playing in the Czech Republic. He's still playing professional hockey, no shit, and inarguably the greatest mullet. That was question number six. Here is
question number seven. What is the usual par score for an eighteen hole golf course? What is the usual par score for an eighteen hole golf course? For question number seven? All right, we're down to our final two questions in the double duty Radcliffe Rounds Sports and Numbers. Here is question number eight. Both Dale the Intimidator Earnhart from NASCAR and Miss Diana Tarasi from Yukon and the WNBA sported what number? Dale Earnhardt and Diana Tarassi both used this number?
It was on Dale Earnhardt's car, Dale Earnhardt Senior, I should say the Intimidator and Diana Tarassi has worn this number both at Yukon and for that w WNBA team in Phoenix for many many years. Cane, you might not notice, but my whole family is diehard Yukon fans, and yet I'm and huge women's fans, huge, huge, huge fans, and I'm trying a blank on Trosi's number. That is question number eight. And now we are entering the final question in round four here it is what color is the number
five pool ball in pocket billiards? It's a solid, it's a solid. What is the color of the number five? You probably know what the number one and the number eight is. Wow, the number five ball. This is a tough one and your head could explode if you think too much. What color is the number five ball in pocket billiards? I mean, how many people are going to actually get this one right? A few really shady guys that have their own pool to Yeah, yeah, try to hustle you
like Fasted Nelson old fingers over there, Insanza. That is your final question. Do you guys need any more repeats or do you need more time to think of your answers? Or should we just go through this? I think we should just do it all right. I feel like this is really going to come down to some of these ones that we're not sure about. I'm very excited. It's eleven to eight going into this. Joel Johnstone's is nothing that means nothing in a double two questions. If Jeff gets two more questions,
he's going to be That's what's going to happen, all right. He's going to win by one point, I know it. Here we go. Question number one, Willie Mays and Ken Griffy Junior wore what similar jersey number? Joel The answer is twenty four. Jeff Meacham, what did you put twenty four? The correct answer, Jack Bauer twenty four? Twenty four. Both Willie Mays and Ken Griffith Junior sported number twenty four. Question number two
Wimbledon is what number Grand Slam event in the calendar year? Jeff Meacham The third? Joe Johnstone, what did you put it? I did know that I did nice it is the third. We start in Australia early in the year, then it goes roll On Garrows, the French Open, Wimbledon, and then finally, I don't know what I know. Australia is always in January, but the French is what April, May, May, May, Yes, May into June usually actually June. Roll On Garrols and the and
Wimbledon are like, strangely very close to each other. I was gonna say, because Wimbledon's like July, right, that's always always jolly. Fourth, Yeah, Clay to grass right away, boys, right away, ladies get to it right away. Awesome, all right? Question number three one. This one. Jackie Joyner Cursey, regarded as one of the best female athletes full time, won medals in both the long jump and what other track and field event Joel one hundred meter dash? One hundred meter dash? Jeff Meachim,
what did you put? I went two hundred meter? You were both four hundred incorrect? Was it the four hundred sports and numbers? So I was going for an event that had multiple events within it. They don't do the the Caathalon. The ladies do the hep Tathlon, which is seven events. She won many medals really in the hep Tathlon. That's why she's regarded as one of the greatest female athletes of all time, because they have to do seven events, and she won multiple medals in the long jump as well
as doing these seven event track and field events. The hepp was a tough one. It was a tough one, but it's no harm, no follow You both missed it. So far, everything's staying the same, but it's getting down to the here we go. Number four named the Triple Crown events in horse racing Jeff Meacham the Derby Preakness in Belmont Joel Johnstone, do you agree with that, man, I do agree. It is the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness, and the Belmont Steaks are the three races that make up
the Triple Crown. Okay, this should be interesting. Question number five? How many schools are currently part of the Big Ten? Joel, I'm going fourteen. I'm going fourteen. Oh he's gone fourteen, Jeff Meacham, what did you put for question five? I have I have thirteen slash fourteen on my list here, so just to see if we can do something different,
I'm gonna go thirteen. It was the Big Ten for a long time because they had ten schools in it. Then they added I believe Nebraska and Penn State came in at the same time, so that made it twelve, and then recently they added Rutgers and Maryland. There are fourteen teams in the Big Ten. Oh my gosh, is the lead in sir mountable? Now? I blew it. I should have stuck with it. I was literally doing that all of strategy. I was like, uh, who would to keep
thirteen? You wouldn't so lucky. You gotta go ballsy, you gotta go. They gotta go balls out that Jeff. They did bring in. Yeah, both Maryland Terrapins and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights both came in together. They're the last two I believe that have joined the Big ten. Question number six, Mario Lemu and Yarmar Yager wore jersey numbers that were just two numbers apart. Can you name both of those jersey numbers? Who are we up?
Who's who's up to go first? Jeff? What do you got? I put and this is a guest, I put zero in two zero and two. Joel Johnstone, what did you put? The answer I put is correct two and four and four. You guys were not close on those. Mario la ninety nine, Well again you got Wayne Gretzky's great ninety nine. Wayne Gretzky was ninety nine. You kind of flipped that over. Mario Lemu was the great sixty six, He was sixty right, Pittsburgh Penguins sixty six.
Mario Lemoux and Yarma Jager was the two numbers higher. He was sixty eight. Lemieux was sixty six. So sixty six and sixty eight are the numbers I was looking for. Number six. Question number seven, what is the usual par score for an eighteen whole golf course Joel seventy two. Jeff Meachum, Oh, seventy two. It is par Is seventy two. Uh, question number eight. Both Dale the Intimidator Earnhardt from NASCAR and Diana Tarassi from
Yukon and the WNBA supported what number Jeff eight? Eight? Great guests, Joel Johnstone, what did you put? Also eight? Right there? Put eighty? Well, you both got it wrong. It's three. It's three. It's just three. You weren't far off you did see course three? Junior is eight? Wasn't junior eight? He was eighty eight? I think eighty eight. He was the double eight. Maybe he was eight at a
time. But I think I want to be exactly like his dad. So yeah, literally he always when you hear it, I can picture the three on his and see Dale Earnhardt's black car with his white threes everywhere. But yeah, Diana Trossi same thing. It's like you see her. I think she wore different numbers, maybe in the Olympics, but yeah, three has been her number for most of her career. I love her. It comes down to this number nine. What color is the number five ball in pocket
Billiard's Joel I believe it's red red. That is your guest, Jeff Meacham, did you what did you guess for number nine? Purple? I feel like that's a later number. Red is the number three ball. Purple is the number four ball, The number five ball is orange. It's orange, the two ball, the blue ball is the two ball. Blue ball's two balls, and number six is green. Number seven was a tough one too. That was like, I would never get this. Number seven is maroon.
It's a maroon color. I was like, Oh, that's right, that's tough. So that was a tough one. That Again, you your brain can play tricks on you and you can see every color with every number, I think besides eight on that one it is orange. So your final scores, Jeff meet him with sixteen in our champ for today, mister Joel Johnstone with twenty one points. Horse shit, Joel Johnstone, you are the smartest man, smartest person for a week, correct one entire week. Oh
god, and you have bragging rights until the next time you guys. Come on after Great of Buesday Folks parades. Tuesday starts on Broadway Downtown Way to beat out a guy who went to a conservatory for college simply because he didn't want to be educated anymore. You know what I mean? Correct or chemistry teacher kicked him out of chemistry glass and said, you don't belong here. Put that in your pipe, Joel. All right, okay, the game is not over, Joel Johnson, and you are the smartest person in the
world for one week. But we still have to do the final throwdown. The final throwdown, go head to head. Annie is coming up with her question. She forgot about this, the fun little thing I get to play a little bit. At the end of this game, you're you're still the smartest person in the world. But Annie, Anny, our producer, is going to share her screen. We're going to come up with a question. I'm going to read it right now for everyone. Which artists work are the
most stolen in the world? Which artists work are the most stolen in the world. I will let you think, yeah, write your answer down. Jeff you can play along, but Joel, you can go first, take as much time as you need. I can either agree with you. That's a question. I mean, is artists open to to the world of arts or or is this specific to painting. We could find out from Annie. I would assume it's probably Yeah, it's probably an art you're gonna lose who
cares artworks? Artworks? Artworks? So which artists artworks are the most stolen in the world? And then well, no matter what, if we get it right or wrong, we're gonna learn a little bit more about this when Annie reveals the answer, Like more people steal this person's work, like physically steal it. That's cool. I mean, I know Metallica would say it's them, but I know that's not the answer. Nabster, you bastards, Which artists artworks are the most stolen in the world? All Right, you
gotta guess? I do, I do? All Right? Who you're gonna go? And it's based just on volume, Yep, most stolen. It's gotta be somebody with a lot of work out there. And from the little I know, I believe Picasso was an enormous volume of work. So I'm going with Pablo Picaso, Pablo Picasso. That is a great guess. I was thinking about him, and I was thinking of, yeah, like one of the you know, the titans of the art world, like a Picasso or a van Go or you know, da Vin She because I feel like
all the famous paintings have kind of been stolen before. But I'm thinking maybe I'm gonna go street art just because people can just like rip that off. So I'm gonna say I'm gonna go with Banksy just because he's such a hot thing that people would just be like, I'm gonna chisel this right off of it fire hydrant or a wall or something. So I'll say, Banksy, we have Joel Johnstone's guests was Pablo Picasso. I went with Banksy, And
now Hanny will reveal our answer and some tidbits and we'll all learn. Wait. Wait, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, I just went to Benchi. I went to Vinci Leonardo da Vinci. Nice. Let's see who the answer? Oh, oh, we got it. Mister Joel Johnstone is truly the smartest person in the world. For more than one week, it is Pablo Picasso. Now learn and pieces of his works are still missing. Let's let's let's let's learn about Pablo Picasso. Here more than one thousand of his works
are reported missing. Wow, this is more than twice that of any other artist. He is thought to have made about fifty thousand artworks during his lifetime, Joel mentioned that earlier. I knew it was a lot, but I you know, I thought it was a little over a hunt. Yeah, cheapest work, cheapest work of Picasso costs around one hundred and twenty thousand dollars in the most expensive up to one hundred and forty million dollars at the moment,
which we'll just keep going up. That is truly remarkable. Again, he was so incredible with constantly working for as long as he did. But that a thousand of his works are still concerned millions have not hundreds of millions of dollars. Hole, lea cat. Let's start going through people's like crawl spaces and stuff. Guys. That'll be our that'll be our new gig. What a great game, you guys. That was so fun. It was so great to see you guys again. We have Joel Johnstone, he's playing
