Oh, there are eight questions in the general Knowledge round.

Here is question number one, What US City is home to the headquarters of both the Centers for Disease Control and Delta Airlines? Question number one, once again, what US City is home to the headquarters of both the Centers for Disease Control or the CDC and Delta Airlines. How do we feel after one? Okay, and we're stretching. We're stretching right now. We're not in the game. We're just stretching. There's two clues. There's there's two clues,

which was good. The sex conclude really helped. And I think Nadine knows. I think Nadine and I are the same page. Okay, good, good, That's how I like it. Here we go. We're onto question number two in your general knowledge round. Who is the longest running host of the View. Who's been on the View the longest? And I think it's twenty plus years that this person has part of the View? Number two. It's so weird, Okay, okay, who is the lot? Is

that weird? So weird that that's a straightforward question of the view. A lot of hosts on the View, the lost host of you. We saw one this week it Watch It Happens five. Oh, yes, we did. That's how many hosts I think they did. They did did, Yeah, they did a big stint, they went away for a little bit, and then they've been back for a number of years as well. And she bragged that it was the highest rated talk show, which I don't know how

that's trial did maybe daytimes, maybe daytime. I don't know, don't know. It can't be higher rated in this podcast. It can't be it no way, there's no way this breaks the rating meeter. We get better guests. I will say, I agree that present company included. Thank you, thank you so much, You're very welcome. This is so exciting. Question number three, What Italian luxury fashion house was founded in Milan in nineteen thirteen by Mario? What? Mario? What? So again? For number three?

What Italian? This is? This is rigged to her? Okay, fine, go ahead, this is rigged. Hold on, here we go. There's gonna be as I will say there, there's there is a Seinfeld question coming up, so we'll be on nineteen thirty three, said, no, here we go. Question number three, What Italian luxury fashion house was founded in Milan in nineteen thirteen by Mario? What? Fill in that blank for question number three? All right? Question number four, numero qual throll

the midway point of your general knowledge? Und what hard rock band had hits dirty deeds done dirt cheap? Highway to Hell and back in black? But again I will repeat that question number four, What hard rock band had hits dirty deeds done dirt cheap Highway to Hell and back in black. I think I'm gonna build yourself worth and your self esteem with this next question. I think I'm not going to know it. Number five, Here we go.

Can you name two of the three lead actresses in twenty sixteen's film Hidden Figures? Hidden Figures? We all saw that film. Can you name two of the three leaders? Two? Three? Two of the three? One of the three is easy. Two of the three, I think is a little more challenging. Three of the three would be tough. Can you name two of the three lead actresses in twenty sixteen's excellent film Hidden Figures? All right? Question six? Don't be mad at me, but it's a sports question.

Number six sports ball? Can you name two of the four? So you only need to name half of the four professional sports teams that currently play their home games at Crypto dot Com Arena was formerly Staples Downtown Los Angeles? Can you name two of the four professional sports teams that play downtown LA? Used to be unfair because LA if you said Madison Square Garden, I would have owned But okay, this is a guest, and you know what,

that's fine. I feel good about it. I feel fine. So again, for question number six, can you name two of the four professional sports teams that currently play their home games at Crypto dot Com arena was formerly the Staples Center in downtown LA. All right, where were we at? We're on question number seven? Even an ultimate question in the General Knowledge round? What restaurant chain claims that America runs on? It? America ends on?

I run on a baby? Question number yea, what restaurant chain claims that America runs on? Even though I hate the headquarters of where this place is actually from, I do enjoy this. Why do you hate it? I'm not getting anything? Can I have a hint? You've seen it from me? You? You you've probably you know, seen a lot of this. You've heard that phrase a lot America runs on blank Yep, you've seen it. Finally, question number eight eight in the General Knowledge Round, we're here

already. The New Deal enacted by Franklin Delano Roosevelt occurred in what decade? When did FDR enact a lot of those things from the new Deal? So again, I'll repeat question number eight again. Was the New Deal enacted by Franklin Delano Roosevelt or FDR occurred in what decade? All Right? Pencils down. We will go over your answers in a couple minutes, but it's time to introduce our terrific guests. Oh from Montclair, New Jersey. Hello,

the Garden States hereun Um. She's a podcast extraordinarire. She's got a true crime podcast called Shaken and Disturbed and a new podcast coming out called The Peterman Chronicles that's all about rewatching Seinfeld episodes, one of the greatest shows of all time. My new friend Darren carp is here. Oh. Crowd goes while Oh, shut noticed my girlfriend. It stays completely silent, not excited about me being on this at all. She's just very focused. I'm gonna say

this. I'm gonna I was trying to give you. I was trying to be silent so you could have your your oh my moment, gonna hype me up. We've been doing. I'm gonna say this. I think that Darren was so excited about this, and she put so much stock into this because she is the biggest Seinfeld fan. I've I know, everyone might think you're the biggest, Darren might be the biggest. Like it's she knows. She's

got a wealth of knowledge about Seinfeld and I've got nine. I can tell you all about kurb but now crime, Hue, Crime, and Steinfeldt can really get you far in life and know nothing else. Mike and I found that that actually proves well. I mean, I'm I earn a paycheck somehow. You have two houses and you've managed to figure out how to take your

two wheelhouses and make something out of that, which is fantastic. You can follow Darren Carp on social media at Carpe Darren and that's spelled d a w r y n d a r y n to spell Darren, so it's Carpe Darren. Darren. What charity are you playing for today? I am playing for a charity that is near and dear to my heart called the Innocence Project. Fantastic do you know to give you like a long do you know what have you had? I know what it is, but tell tell our listeners

because I think it is. I think it's one of the greatest charities you can give to. So tell us a little bit about the Innocence Project. Yeah, it's an independent, nonprofit organization and it basically works to free the innocent prevent wrongful convictions based on DNA evidence. So it kind of creates a fair, compassionate and equitable system of our criminal justice system that is currently happening over I believe over three hundreds have been happened because of the Innocence Project due

to DNA evidence kind of being now admissible in court. It's a recent scientific kind of thing in our criminal justice system of the past few decades. But big proponent of the Innocence Project, and it started right here in New York City. People fantastic win or lose. We are happy to give a donation in your name to the Innocence Project, and we're going to talk all about

your podcasts a little bit later on. But it's time to meet your wonderful opponent from Anaheim Hills, California. Is that your hometown, right, That's what I'm talking about. She's a boss. She's a showrunner for a little show called The Below Deck Mediterranean and Below Deck Down on the Folly this year Belowdeck Mediterranean in its eighth season and Down Under in its second. My new friend Nadine Rajabi is here today. Thank you so much, Mike. I'm

so excited. I've been terrified for this day because trivia is hard. But she asketim I was studying yesterday for this Mike. She's like, did you study? And I read yes. You could follow miss Nadine on social media at Nadine Rajabi on Instagram. That's where you can find her. Nadine, what charity are you playing for today? I am playing for the ACLU Drag Defense Fund because there are now more states with UM you know, that are

just shutting down drag shows and all that stuff. And there's a lot of things that are going on in our country that have to do with drag, with with trans and I just think that this is a very important cause. And also, I mean there's a million causes we can be playing for, like Florida can't say that we're gay at coolum. But today I'm playing for the Drag Defense Fund because why shutdown drag shows? Win or lose again, We're happy to give to the ACLU Drag Defense Fund, the Innocence Project.

You know our contestants, you know the causes they're playing for. But it's time. Thank you for having us, Yes, it's time, thanks for having us back the game. Let's go of our answers. It's the first to four rounds, okay, early, but who gets to say their answer first. We'll find out right now. There's eight questions in the general Knowledge round. Question number one was what US city is home to the headquarters both the Centers for Disease Control and Delta Airlines. Darren, what did you get

for number one? Atlanta, Georgia? Hot Alanta, Georgia. Natine? What did you put for number one? Same Atlanta, Georgia. We are tied at one one to one. You're both off the schneide starting out very well. I love it. Here's a tough question though. Number two. Who is the longest running host of the View? I think they've been on for twenty three twenty four something like that years. We can maybe have Annie look up the exact number. Nadine, what did you pick? Whoopee Goldberg?

Whoopee Goldberg? Great guest? Darren, what did you put? I put Joy be Harror Whoopee Goldberg and Joy Behar. I think they've both been on for a bajillion years. One of you is incorrect to one of you is correct twenty five years. Annie is saying the correct answer is Joy bay Ha Boy bey Har and forth with I didn't I know I was between them, but then I was like I just feel like I've seen Joy. I don't know, like that's a tough question. Why Joy? That's the thing.

We'll have Annie look up how many years Whoopie has been on because it's probably like twenty one or so twenty four? Yeah, exactly two. Um, great guesses. Those are the two. I thought I will cross that out. You did well, you did well. Question number three? What a luxury fashion house? Was founded in Milan in nineteen thirteen by Mario fill In le Blanc Darren. What did you put? For number three? I

put Gucci? But I think that's just because we were at a Gucci event last night, so I think I was just like, Gucci, How's up Gucci? How up Gucci? Mario Gucci? And then I heard Lady gugas a Gucci Gucci Nadine, do you agree with that? Or did you go your own way? For number three? Well, here's the thing, it's I wrote Gucci. But then the problem is Gucci's headquarters are in Florence. I wanted to say, I wanted to say Valentino, Um, but I

think it's Gucci. But and I wrote Gucci. I'll show you, but I this is where I was torn on ah, your final answer is Gucci. I don't because it's not Milan. Are all right? We're Gucci and Gucci. So in nineteen thirteen in Milan, Italian luxury fashion house was founded by Mario Prada. Pradact me. Oh my god, Mario product, Nadine idiot. That's such an idiot. I'm such a fraud, even your sad praduct. No, it's just it is not moved. I don't know why

I was thinking about product. It's okay, Nadine, we still love you. Oh my god, I'm such an idiot. Well, one of us still loves her, Mike, I'm one of us. Does I told you? I said deal breaker? Ladies, I'm really upset with myself because I'm actually Annie is chiming here. Annie is chiming game to say that whoopee Goldberg was on for fifteen seasons, so she's been Joy has been on for twenty five unbelievable. All right, let's see if we could get back on the

trolley with number five. I can't. I'm so mad at myself. What hard rock band had hits dirty deeds done, dirt, cheap highway to Hell and back in black? Nadine Metallica, Metallica, great guest, Darren, What did you put for number four? I put Metallica because that's the only hard rock band. I feel like I could, oh a little bit, maybe that Guns and Roses. It was that a Guns and Roses was maybe a little bit before. They had a lead singer named Bond Scott that passed

away very early on. And then I think Brian Jones, I think came in. Where did you say stuff? The answer is ac is easy? Back to Black? Oh my god, back in Black. I hit the Sad Highway to Hell. That is by ac DC. Now you know, all right? Ac DC? Wow, I'm just playing number four. They're Dino Mite. They got a bunch of songs a c DC. Now you know, first I shouldn't know that. All right, here we go number five. Can you name two of the three lead actresses after Black is?

What killed me? When you said that? Yeah? Back in black or some people back in back in black, Back to black, Back to Black, Amy Winehouse, Oh yeah, that's right, it's back in Black. You got a c DC, but you had Metallica had an album that was just called the Black Album as well. I think that's wrong. Something, yes, something through me. So question number five, can you name two of the three lead actresses? Isn't twenty sixteens hidden figures? Darren, I

didn't see it. I'm I guess Octavia Spencer and Viola Davis. Octavia Spencer and Violet Davis. Great guesses, Nadine, what did you put? Octavia Spencer and Genemne. The correct answers are Taraji p Henson, Jennelle al Money my favorite person on the planet, and Octavia Spencer. So I go one, I go one, Nadine get you need to. I should get half a point, Mike, I never saw it. I should get half a point. Judges, I know you gave someone else. Come on, they're

saying anyone. They're saying Darren's going to get a half point, Nadine's getting full point. Then I should get half a point for knowing where the other fashion houses were made. Should get negative eight points for not going product. I'm just putting true. Judges are stive, are ahold by your answer? They're they're horrified. Annie's throwing her up, She's so she's having anxiety. I'm just saying, so upset with myself. You have no idea. God

continue, please Okay, it's okay. Question numbers so obvious, don't overthink these things. Question number six, can you name two of the four professional sports teams that currently play their home games at Crypto dot Com Arena formerly the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles? Nadine, what do you got? Lakers Clippers? And here's where I should get extra credit points for the product or Kings and Sparks. Lakers, Clippers, Kings and Sparks. Darren, what

did you put for number six? I put Lakers, Kings and Clippers. Baby wow, had to give two? I know you only had to give two? Who Lakers and Kings the first two? I wrote? So if the Clippers is summer summers and not Darren, Darren, you're going to get a point. And I'm gonna give Nadine a point and a half for getting all four. That's pretty n I know, Mike, is it she's better looking than me? Is it because she's better looking? At metome? Judging

is very subjective? All right? This is where this is where things might get a little crazy. Question number seven, what restaurant chain claims that America runs on it? Darren, America be running on that? Duncan not Duncan Donuts, just Duncan, just Duncan, Nadine, what did you put Duncan? America runs on Duncan no longer dunkin Donuts? All right? And finally number eight, a little US history question. The New Deal enacted by FDR occurred in what decade? Nadine, what did you put for number eight?

Oh? Nineteen thirties. Oh, the nineteen thirties. Great guess. Wonder how we got that answer? I would have, Darren. I was walking for a long time Mike about this, but I came up with the thirties as well, thirties and the thirties. It was, in fact, all those things were enacted by FDR from nineteen thirty three to nineteen thirty nine, So it is the nineteen thirties. Holy shit, this is what we're talking about. We do have a score update after one. It's tied at five

and a half. All right, here we go. It is five and a half to five and a half. Nadine and Darren are tied. As we enter round two, Round two pop Culture grab Bag. There are eight questions in the grab bag the category today. These are all questions the TV round. These are all questions about famous sitcom sitcoms round killing us. Can you name any of the five members of the Evans family from the Chicago based sitcom one of my favorites from Growing Up Good Times, Good Times, any of the five members of the Evans family was all about the family, just one, any one member of the Evans family from Good Times A little more current. For question number five out of eight in

your pop culture grabbag, these are all questions about TV sitcoms. If you ever watched Arrest Development, then you know that there was always money located where. It's a running gag. I think George Senior says that a lot of times in Arrest Development, there's always money in the what location? So again for question number five, Arrested Development, then you know that there was always money in the where where the location? What are they talking about when they

say there's always money in the blank? Um? I like question six a lot. Okay, Yes, it's kind of a math question. How many castaways were there on Gilligan's Island? The main castaways through the hold on, hold On, hold On, hold on, she's probably counting like belowdeck med member, She's like, there's Captain Sandy, then there's the Bosin, then there's the chief Engineer. It ain't a yacht. Baby, it ain't a yacht. The minnow would be sunk or minnow would be lost. Poor Minno

good name for a ship. Yes, all right, we're through six. There's two left here. In Sitcom Round Pop Culture Grabbag, Question number seven, more recent sitcom. Name the sitcom at centers around the Taiwanese Huang family making their way in America in nineteen nineties Orlando, Florida. Question number seven again, name the sitcom that centers around the Taiwanese Huang or Hwang family h U a n g family making their way in America in nineteen nineties Orlando,

based on the life of Eddie who was behind the show? Name the sitcom for question number seven. Question eight, Sorry, Nadine, this is just made for Darren here. This is just a Darren question. Pretty much her wheelhouse. It's her wheelhouse. On Seinfeld heard of it. The Great Philip Baker Hall famously played a lieutenant or investigations officer on behalf of what New York Institution? Oh lord, great character actor. He was just on at one

time. Hey, what's the question? So on Seinfeld, the late great Philip Baker Hall, who's been in a ton of films and TV shows. He recently passed away um, but he was in like Boogie Nights and Hard Eight with Paul Thomas Anderson. He famously played like kind of a private investigator, a lieutenant or an investigations officer on behalf of a New York What New York Institution. It's one of the funniest episodes of Seinfeld ever, and it's because of him. Oh, Darren, this will be your product product.

Like the first thing the King to mind. Now, I'm like, God, there's so many weird they get in trouble so often, and I'm like, yeah, the first thing that came to mind. I'm just gonna trust my gut on this one. All right, are we are we good? Pencils down, Let's go over your answers. Here in the pop culture grab background two. Here was TV sitcoms question number one Abbott Elementary centers on a school in what city? Nadine, Philadelphia, Philly, Philadelphia. Darren,

what did you put for number one? I was I've never seen the show, so I had no idea. First I put Cleveland, but then I wrote crossed it out and I put Baltimore. Oh, great, guests, we got Baltimore, and we got Philly. The correct answer is Philadelphia. It is an elementary school in Philadelphia. Abbott elamentary Question number two. The title of the sitcom the one after the super Bowl was the most watched episode

of what comedy sitcom Darren something we all are now Friends. I like that a lot, Nadine, But for number two, I definitely didn't know this ort Modern Family, Modern Family. Yeah, the Friends episodes were always like the one where Joe he does this, the one where Schandler does this, one the one after the super Bowl cross this out. The most watched episode of Friends ever? Was that one, the one after the super Bowl? Really? Number three? Elizabeth Montgomery people, Yeah, yeah, we'll have

Annie. Looked at up how many people watched that that Friends episode after the super Bowl? Because again super Bowl gets the biggest rating ever, so not only that, but this was back people could have watched that like that would have been That's why I'm curious. Okay, we'll have Annie. Uh, we're making Annie work googling or binging like mad over there um. Question number three. Elizabeth Montgomery played the magical Samantha Stevens on What Classic sitcoms Rajabi Bewitched,

be Witched, Darren, what did you put? No, that's Genie, that's witched. I put be witched. She did a Genie. Um, I know, but she used to wiggle her nose. Yeah, I think it wasn't. I dream of any that would have been a good guest, but it is Bewitched with Elizabeth. That Darren thing really helped me. Yes, yeah, almost, you know that was my that was my duncan give Yeah, Oh my god, no way, any any Annie's telling us

that almost fifty three million people watching that friends, imagine that rating. Now, imagine that rating, now, babe, that's pretty much all you get for like, you know, if you get like super Bowl or you know, that's that's about it. That's how many people listen to this podcast, right, Mike, Well, we're close, We're like, okay, that was fifty two point nine. We're on a on a weekly basis. I'd say our we're our average is like fifty one point I was going to say

fifty one. I didn't want to. I didn't want to denigrate this podcast in any sort of way because up there, we're in the ballpark. We're in the ballpark. Question number four about one of My favorite sitcom's Good Times. Can you name any of the five members of the Evans family from the Chicago based sitcom Good Times? Any or you said to any just Annie, miss miss carp what do you got eight on me? Webster? That answer deserves a splo Oh my god. You know why? It's it's because I

made a webster. I wasn't true. That's great. Those are two. Those are from two other great sitcoms. But you're too, I got doesn't matter. I have Thelma and Jimmy JJ Walker. Right, here's do you remember what I said? There's two of them that I got confused with? Who is rog and rerun on? That's what's Happening? Another one of my favorites. It's happened? Great theme songs, all of them. That's what I miss about the seventies and eighties is like every show had a great sitcom

theme song. Um, what's happening? I wrote four different names m as I was confusing the twoth that comes, yeah, I it's what they're the h Yes, I'm gonna go with Delman and Jimmy Yeah, the dad Jimmy J J. Walker. Yeah. The dad was played by John Amos, who's still around. It was James Evans, James Evans Senior. Then Esther Roll, one of my favorite actresses, played Florida Evans, which is a great name, Florida Evans, great name. The eldest sister was Thelma.

Then you had James James Junior also known as j. J. Walker, Dinah, Mike JJ Evans, No Mike, and then finally the youngest brother was Michael Michael Evans. So maybe, but I should get a point because my brother's Evan. No no, no, no, no pointing it out there, Mike putting it out there, just are nodding their heads that you get no, yeah, okay, and they don't even. And I love you, We love groveling here at. You should know better. We love

gravel. What I do best? You should know better, dar You should know better. Should you should question number five? If you ever watch Arrested Development, then you know that there is always money located here, Nadine, did you venture a guess? Yeah, I guess it's not correct. I wrote mattress in the mattress, there's always money in the match. There are the couch cushions or couch cushions. Couch cushions, Darren, what did you put, I put the banana stand, the banana stand. Correct answer.

George Senior would say multiple times, Well, there's always money in the banana stand. It is the banana stand where they sold their frozen bananas on the boardwalk or stuff there. It's it's great. Yeah, the banana stand is a joke that they use so many different ways and in so many funny ways. They own the banana Stand. There's a watch I watched one. Liza Banella was on like obviously you're just dropped in, don't know what the hell's

going on? Lucille number two, one of the best shows of all time. But it is the Banana Stand. Blushed or no more dizzy because she had vertigo? Right, all right? Question number six, here's your here's our math question. How many castaways were there on Gilligan's Island? Darren I wrote six? Six good guests, Nadine, do you agree with that? Nope? At seven? And I wrote them all down. Go through the

song. Let's go through the song here it's um with Gilligan, the Skipper, two Millionaire and why Star Star Best Surf and a Marie Anne Why are you doing that? Back? Is that your thing? So it's Yeah, Gilligan, skipper millionaire, his wife, the movie star professor, and Mary Anne. There are seven members. Wow, I was one off. I'm actually very close happy with myself right there because I was between six or seven. Six just felt like the rights sit come. Yeah, that's a good

number of friends and other things. Yeah, but there are seven here on Gilligan's Island. Question number seven named the sitcom that centers around the Taiwanese Huang family making their way in America in nineteen nineties Orlando, Florida. Nadine, Fresh off the Boat, Fresh off the Boat, Darren, what did you put? I put fresh off the Boat? The correct answer is fresh off the Boat based on I think Yeah, I think it's Eddie Huang's memoir called

Fresh off the Boat. They made a show out of question number eight. Yep on Seinfeld, The late great Philip Baker Hall famously played a lieutenant or investigations officer on behalf of what New York Institution? Darren? Is this your library? Like I put the like, mister bookman, I put the New York Public Library Public Library. Mister Nadine, what did you put it?

I heard the quarters office. That's a good guess. It was, in fact, the New York Public Library episode where Jerry checks out of the book a book of Tropic of Cancer from the Seven that he gave George and and and Philip Baker Hall's character Bookman. Lieutenant Bookman comes in and he's playing it like he's a Friday from Dragnet and he just lays in and every time Jerry, even Jerry's like breaking character and He's like, okay, mister funny man.

Oh god. So after two rounds at halftime, we are still tied at ten and a half. It's ten and a half to ten and a half. Two peas in a pod. We really are baby, we should date. We are tied at ten and a half. We're here with Darren carp. You can follow Darren on social media at Carpe Darren. She's playing for the Innocence Project. And Darren has a couple podcasts, a true crime podcast called Shaken and Disturbed and a new Seinfeld rewatching podcast called The Peterman Chronicles.

Tell us all about these podcasts, please, So Shaken and Disturbed started, I had a podcast at Oxygen called Morteene's and Murder and then we spun it off to be Shaken and disturbed. We talk about new cases every single week. We also have a companion podcast called NMR Not Murder Related, where we just talk about our lives. I get to complain about Nadine. Of course, it is my free public form just to complain about Nadine and how much better she is than me in trivia. But we cover all these types

of cases. Huge Innocence Project fans, We talk about that a lot, very very big, and the victim advocacy, and then the Peterman Chronicles is j Peterman and I John O'Hurley himself and myself. We go through every single episode of Seinfeld one week at a time, and then we interview all the guest stars and everything. And the best part was, Mike, you're going

to appreciate this. But Nadine knows this because I called her after John and I are recording our first podcast and like I'm talking about something and just In Walks, Jason Alexander, and I like, I've met Jerry, I've met Julia. I don't like I'll ever meet Michael Richards, but meeting Jason was like I've met him. I cavelled. I just like I melted into my seat and it was the best ever. So if you're a Seinfeld fan, if you're not, come listen to the Peterman Chronicles with me and John.

We're also here with Nadine Rajabi, So yeah, you can follow Nadine on social media at Nadine Rajabi on Instagram. She's playing for the ACLU Drag Defense Fund. And then Nadine. You have Belowdeck down Under and Below Deck Mediterranean their eighth and second seasons. Can you talk about the upcoming seasons at all? Can you let us in on anything? Yes, they are very they're

very exciting seasons. I will say it's it's uh, you know, I've basically a y audity at this point, so I will say they are very explosive. Um, okay, well, I mean obviously down Unders in Australia, so um spoiler alert, yeah, exactly. Um. And they've already announced that obviously the same captain Captain Jason's coming back and Asia who we love, um and for med obviously Captain Sandy Um and um, we have a actually I can't talk about it, but it's very I think I think you're

gonna love the new cast and I think it's very funny. It makes me like I think sometimes it gets so dramatic that you lose sight of the comedy. And my goal this year has been keeping the funny because my roots are comedy and somehow I became a reality TV producer. But um, but yes, it's I'm very excited about these next two seasons and the locations are. I would say, for med is is beautiful and and for down Under it's it is a it's a so much underwater and scuba. It's just it's beautiful.

Um, So I asked Dick. Yes, awesome, great to catch up on what you guys are working on. Um, but it's time to get back to the game and head into our third of four rounds. It is the dubious or dreaded round three, the Lightning Round. So here we are. We're heading into the Lightning Round. It's ten and a half a piece. So we just did a little rock paper scissors. See you go first. Darren goes first. So Darren, you could choose today from three

different artists for your Lightning Round question. Again, these artists have nothing to do with the question nor the answers, but you can choose from Vincent Van go Free to Callo or Pablo Picasso, you name your artist. I love a dutch Man, so let's go with Van Go. Okay, we're gonna go with Vince sent Let's go with Freedom. Let's go with Freedom. I was going to choose Freedom for the Uni Brown for My Lovely, My Lovely.

I thought Nadine was gonna choose Frieda, So I'm gonna go with Vincent Okay, we're gonna go with Vincent van Go for your lightning round question. I'm gonna say the question twice. I'm gonna say go and hit the button on my starter. Here. You're gonna have twenty seconds to say is many say it out loud? Okay, Nadine's writing some stuff down to see if she should steal some points from you, because I'm gonna go to five second rebuttal striping. Here is your Vincent van Go question, Darren. I want

the top nine most valuable NFL franchises. So these are the NFL teams that are worth the most money. They're worth billions of dollars. I want the top nine most valuable NFL franchises in the world. Here we go twenty seconds and a go Patriots, Packers, Giants, Jets, Seahawks, Saints, Chiefs, Rams, Titans. Why am I thanking on this? Eagles unfortunately? Um, the Redskins or sorry, the Commanders, I think they're called couple. Stop stop. You did phenomenally, you did very very well.

You got one, two, three, four or five. So you got six out of the nine. You got the Rams, you got the Patriots, you got the Giants, you got the Jets, you got the Washington Commanders just under the line there, Commanders, okay, used to be the Redskins. Now they're the Commanders, and number nine the Philadelphia Eagles. So you got six out of the nine. But they're still three on the board. Let me see where they're Yep, there's still three on the board.

The top nine most valuable NFL franchises five second Rebuttal Nadine and a Goo Cowboys, forty nine Ers Patriots. Did you say Rams already? Jet stop is a great guest. Baby you got thank you, they're huge. Sole two from her. You got number one, Dallas Cowboys. You got Dallas cow number one, their number one. There were like seven. Do you want to know I knew the Cowboys because they used to practice at my whole college. Yeah, you also got the San Francisco forty nine ers were number five,

of course, the only one you missed out nine. You guys combined got eight out of nine. The one you missed kind of breaks my heart. Bears Bears are number six small, not bad, not bad, says rushed. She got Patriots, She got the Patriots, but you guys crushed in the Vincent Bengo question, phenomenal. Uh So, now, Nadine, it's your chance for your turn. It's might always I suck a sports, so I'm press barrel. You guys did great. Um, so you could

choose either free to Carlo or Pablo Picasso for your Lightning round question. I with Frieda because we were universe sisters. Um, and what I'm science, that's what let's out. Well right now, I've I've got two, but I was boy, I had one. Have you dressed up like her for Halloween before? You know? It's so funny? I have not, And I think it's a great I feel like you would kill it. You would like win contests and stuff, because yeah, a great idea. I'm please,

Yeah, she's gonna get twenty seconds on the clock. I'm gonna say the question twice. Say go hit the buttons, give me as many answers, and then Darren write some answers. Now you can come to you with your five second rebuttals straight away. So here's your freedom Calo question via this website site. It's called twenty four seven wallstreet dot com weird website, but they had a thing that was the top nine most popular Doctor Sus books from

this website twenty four seven wallstreet dot com. What are the top nine most popular Doctor SEUs books? Twenty seconds on the clock, Nadine and a go then, um, Who's Christmas? Green Eggs and Ham? Um, all the places you'll go, um um um um, oh my god, hold on my brother's three. Oh my, there's more. Um you'll go um uh oh the um one hop two hop three pop whatever three hop one? Right. Yeah, I know what you're throwing. Two famous book, it's Biggie. You got and you got three, you got three, you got

How the Grinch Stole Christmas? Which was number two. Yeah, you got number four, which was Green Eggs and Ham. And you got number five, the book that everyone gets when they graduate high school. Oh um, I think you're you're putting wait for the rebuttal. You're combining two different ones that we'll get to into Charlotte, but we gotta still do the rebuttal.

Darren's got our chance to steal someone something right here, so Darren via twenty four seven Wall Street dot Com. One of the top nine most popular Doctor SEUs books. They're six still on the board. Five second rebuttal and a go one fish, two fish, rep flue, cat and a hat Horton here's a who and hop on Pop. Oh my god, stops. You got two. You got two of them. You got the cat in the hat. Number one. I can't believe I forgot everyone. You got number

six, which was Horton. Here's uh who wasn't even one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish. That's not in their top nine, nor was hop on Pop. And those are the two that Nadine kind of melded made it. It was three pops hop on pops. Yes, Tupac Tupac, that's what you did. But let's go over the ones we didn't get to that are still famous that you'll be like, oh damn it. Number three one of my favorites, the lorax, the lox, teaching the love nature. The Lorax is number three. Um, you guys, did

great in the middle section here seven The Sneeches and of story. So The Starbellied Sneeches is a famous book. This one I don't know as well, and it maybe it was a later book, but it's called the The Butter Battle Book. I don't know The Butter Battle either. And then number nine is one of the earliest Doctor Seus's books I think of all times. And to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street, I think that's one of

the first books he ever growing. I've never heard of that. By the way, I just want you to know everyone out there listening, that Annie, being the good producer she is, asked Nadine and I what our expertise was, and Lea had we struggled to think of what our expertise was. And then they meaning Annie and Mike, came back thinking it was Doctor Seus's books. So this just goes to show the vote of confidence we have here

on this show. I just want I have to break the fourth wall here for just a second, that Nadine, we're as small as a children's book. I just want you to be aware hold on that that was a tough question. And there's a really interesting funny story I don't know, a few have time for this about doctor SEUs, and we don't know if it's true. This is we went kayaking in La Joya, and the kayak guide, this was two different times, told us that doctor Suus's house was where it

was situated. You could actually see it overlooking. Yeah, yeah, where the caves are. And they said that he wrote The Grinch about his ex wife and she lived up on the hill. I was like, I'm obsessed with him. Yes, it was amazing, yes, and so she was Yeah, so she was. She was the Grint on the hill and that's where she lived. And it was all inspired from his ex wife that is in his money. Basically SEUs. I think forever who knows who knows that

that's true. But I was told that story two different times, so I don't know if it's like what they give the kayak guides. But it was so funny and I was like, it was amazing. Spill the tea on doctor SEUs and his ex wife. Oh my god, he was like a he needed a Bravo show, Jesus. And then there were some like newer books that I just was like, oh, yeah, I was an adult, so I don't have kids. So I didn't buy any new books, but he was. He kept writing for a long time. Um so we

have money, yeah, exactly to keep writing, to keep working. Yeah, bish, I gotta do the Cat in the Hat Part seven One Fish, two Bish, Redfish blue Bish. Divorce proceedings. Why is no one buying this book? Um? So we have a scoreboard update. After a very festive lightning round, we have a leader. We finally have a leader after three rounds. Darren carp In the leader. I don't know if it's been tied through through. What an equitable relationship we have? Yes, very

lovely Nadine Darren carp with eighteen and a half points. Nadine right on her heels, Nadine were Jabbi with fifteen and a half. It's a three point game as we head into our fourth and final round between you two round four the Double Duty. We call it the Double Duty because points are doubled and there are nine questions instead of eight, so they are eighteen very big important points up for grabs. The category for your Double Duty Radcliff round is about

a decade. This is all about the nineteen nineties. This is all he's going to crush the nineteen No, I don't know if I will. I don't know if I will will. Let's see how we do here? Question number one of nine. Ellwood Edwards recorded the famous you've got mail for what internet service provider? For question number one, Ellwood Edwards was famous for recording the famous line you've got mail? How much money do you think? That? Guy asks that? Probably it was probably it was probably a buyout.

It's probably a buyout. It was probably a nine union buyout because nowadays, like, dude, you're getting a Dell guy like he didn't play that, like Pumey is walking away with cash. Wow? Alright. Question number two, this is a fun one. Can you name the three lead female characters from Saved by the Bell? Higher sexuality is to find in this question number two? Can you name the three lead female characters from the show that everyone

watched, whether they were embarrassed by it or not? Saved by the Bell? Oh my god, crowd of funny story from this? Okay, done, fantastic? All right? Question number three, Moving things right along, Princess Diana died in a car crash in a tunnel in what European capital? I think it happened in ninety seven, Princess Diana, our princess died died in a car crash in a tunnel in what European capital city? For question

number three? All right? Question number four. In the nineteen nineties, a woman named Wendy Kaufman read letters from actual customers in ads for what drink brand. It's kind of famous advertising thing they did where Wendy Kaufman would read letters from actual customers and ads for what drink brand? Question number five. Who famously told Vogue magazine about the life of being a supermodel, We don't

wake up for less than ten thousand dollars a day. Oh, someone in the nineteen nineties who famously told Vogue magazine about the life of being a supermodel, and I quote, we don't wake up for less than ten thousand dollars a day. Nadine says that to me every morning. Do you know how broke I am? Question number six is a fun one, I think. In the Chumbowombo one hit wonder called Club Thumping, the seemingly alcoholic pro antagonist

has four different kinds of drinks. In the lyrics, he does a something drink, he does a blah blah blah drink. He does it four times? Can you name any of them? What types of drinks does the seemingly alcohol agonist? Just name one, just one of the one of the four. There's four of them. Let me give me one of them, all right? Question number seven? This is a this is a weird question,

an interesting question. What sex toy got a boost in popularity after being featured in an episode of Sex in the City entitled The Turtle and the Hair? Got it? Wait? What was the top of the I will repeat it again, question number seven? What sex toy got a boost in popularity after being astured in an episode of Sex in the City, The Turtle and the Hair? For question number seven? Question and then there were two two questions

left in the nineteen nineteen duty Redcliff round. Here's question number eight. Who hosted the Academy Awards a whopping six times during the nineteen nineties? Again for question number eight? Sorry? Who hosted the Academy Awards or the Oscars A whopping six times during the decade of the nineteen nineties? God, I still remember when Helen Hunt beat o Kate wins letting she beat her out for as good as it gets over Titanic and I was like distraught. I literally I

had feelings about it, Mike, I was. I was really upset. And that's saying something too, because Titanic one everything else one like seventeen Oscars. But but as good as it gets, was a very good movie. Yeah, it's a fun movie. All right, Are you ready for the final question? Yes? Can you give us a hand down? The Oscars one? I think I wrote something down, but that's tough. It's not Amy Pohler, it's not Jimmy Kimmel, it's not James Franco and Anne Hathaway

or whatever they did that one year. Yeah, that was weird. I was. I don't think I can give you a hint because I have something written. I'm it's a it's an educator. Yes, yeah, there's like there's like there's like between two. There's like two that I think, so I don't want to give me Okay, okay, go go go come between two. Okay, I think you don't like, don't overthink that one. Your gut, baby, your gut question. I think it's my We'll see

Rada all over again, Okay, I will never unbelievable. That's recorded for the rest of history. You know why. In my brain it was because it was like goo gee. I kept thinking of how we were. I would have never I would have never got that right, that's not that's a huge blunt in Mike's wheelhouse. Not at all. I would have been like, we have a ton You would have been right there, Mike. But Prada, no way out of his It's obvious, it's it's it's probably put

Gucci. I was like, Milan, I'm like Gucci, yeah, right, because I was trying to think at the fashion houses, I'm like, do they move? It was a whole thing, and I just Gucci anyway. And it wasn't nine thirteen because Gucci was later anyway. Okay, you're gonna dress up like free to Callo for Halloween and it's gonna all be good. Yeah, exactly. Question number nine. I think you're gonna love this

one, I hope. What was the name of the colorful plastic storage container for all your hair accessories, your stickers, your POGs, your jewels, Tamagotchi's, your slap bracelets, your bubble tape, etc. Name name the colorful plastic storage container where you put all your stuff? What was the name

of that nineteen nineties Big deal. What was the name of the colorful plastic storage container for all your hair accessories, stickers, POGs, jewelry, tamagotchi, slap bracelets, bubble tape, whatever you wanted to put your little storage bin? What was that called? Um? All right, uncles down, let's go over our answers to the double duty Radcliff round. It was all about the decade of the nineteen nineties. Question one of nine was Ellwood Edwards

recorded the famous You've got mail for what Internet service provider? Darren pot For number one, I put all my friend a L, Natine, What did you put all? Correct answer is a oh L two points for you each and Annie. Yeah, it's chiming in here, she said. Elwood Edwards made two hundred dollars for the AOL reading. His wife worked there, and he did it as a NY's not getting away with a talent contract like that today. Hell no, no, I'm sane. I'm hoping that he made

money once it got famous. I'm hoping he got money to like show up. I hope. So you've got you've got a birthday, You've got a wedding anniverse like people just paid him money to just say stuff do cameos. I'm just gonna say, probably made tens of twenties of dollars doing cameo, I hope for Elwood Edwards, which which is a great all right. Number two was a fun one. Can you name all three the female characters from Saved by the Bell Nadine, Kelly Kapowski, Leaves a Turtle and Jesse Spano,

Darren what did you put for number two? Jesse Spanni, Jesse Spano, Kelly Copowski and LEAs a Turtle. Kelly Kapowski was the real reason I literally know that I'm a gay woman, like solid was? It was that it Kelly Kapowski. And that's weird? Is Medan's like brother and cousin they're they're younger than her, so they're two years younger than me. And I was like, uh, I said to him. I was like, Alex Kelly Kapowski. He's like, who are you talking about? He was born

in ninety nine. He goes, who are you talking about? I go what? And they like made Nadine get off her work call because I was like, what did you teach these children? And they had no idea what Saved by the Bell was? It was like, I must have hit the right cusp or something. They had no idea. I was like, Kelly fucking Busk Yeah, I saying I'm so excited and best best worst show of all time, like the best worst show of all time, and uh yeah,

I think everyone had crushes on all of these ladies. Yeah, I loved I loved Kelly and Lisa a lot. I thought they were great. Um, you nailed it, Kelly Kopowski, Jesse Spano, and Lisa Turtle. Question number three, Princess Diana died in a car crash in a tunnel in what European capital? Darren Paris France, Paris, France, Nadine, what did you put Harris France? The correct answer is Paris, France. For number three, you are three for three. The score remains the same

question number four. In the nineteen nineties, Wendy Kaufman read letters from actual customers, and as for what drink brand Nadine Snapple Snapple is letters, it was letters to the snap lady. She had her glasses, the big glasses. I have absolutely no idea what the fuck you're talking about, Like literally

not hearing of the glasses, and you still don't you know what. The glasses drew me off that I put doctor Pepper because I was like smart, I mean present Company excluded of course, Mike, you know glasses doctor you know what I mean, like doctor doctor Pep. Snapple is a great, great and Snapple is like in Seinfeld, Like it's like a drink that they

drink a lot in Seinfeld, which they'd like gear. I don't remember they say when you whoever wasn't They go, I blah blah blah, and it was a whole thing, and it was that was her campaign, good yest. Yeah, they had the little fun facts underneath their caps. Nineteen nineties. It was Snapple, Snapple drinks for number four. Oh, I think things just got real tight. Question number five. This was a tough one who famously told Vogue magazine about the life of being a supermodel. We don't

wake up for less than ten thousand dollars a day. Darren, what did you guess for number five? I put Tyra Banks, Tyra Banks, great guests, Nadine, what did you put? I put a lot of names? Can I if I give you all through? How is that fair? Yeah? Okay, I just want to hear she said, Yeah, I want to hear what she says. I wrote, h Naomi Campbell Iman Claudia shift for Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelous data of Angelista. Um. You know, wait, put say Naomi Campbell. I feel like that. That feels

right. No, the thing is she is infamously troublesome or husband in the past, you know, according to allegedly, according to reports, I don't think it's Claudia ship because Claudia ship first seems really nice, and she did like yes, and she was like the sexty girl. She was not outspoken. It's not a mean thing to say. It's an I think no, but it's a little like aloof and I don't do that. I would think it'd be Naomi because of that. I would also think it's I don't think

it seemed on. She was married to David Bowie. David Bowie was a saint, So I'm crossing her off my lips. Claudia ship is a good guess. I don't have I named, have I named? Have I named the person? Yet? I will neither confirm nor not. Yeah, he's gotta be, he's gotta be. I'm closing off, Okay, crossing him on. I'm crossing off. Hold on, I'm crossing him on. I crossed off. So we could group think this like work shopping, this idea work shopping and answer. Okay, okay, So it's so it's between Linda,

Christie and Naomi and seconds. Thanks Mike, Thank you, Mike, thank you. Come on, twenty, give me twenty, Give me twenty, give me twenty. Absolutely not. I said a guess. Five seconds, five seconds, I'm gonna say, Christie Trillington, is that your final answer? No? Just so sad and defeated. The name of this podcast is sad and defeated. That was the purest answer I've heard from anyone on this show ever. No, that your finals final answer? No? Um,

what is your final answer? Give you one last chance to change it up or go with your gut? What is it? Really? He favors you. That's Naomi didn't give become outspoken until two thousand. So it's between Linda and Christie. But Linda evangelista question Drillington's too nice. Okay, Linda, I swear to God if you can sabotage me, if you sabotage me, I'm not sabotaging. That's not a threat. Um. But I mean, I could be wrong, but I'm definitely not sabotaging Chris Tyra Banks.

So no, Tyra, it was later and Naomi later puty right now, I'm gonna see Linda. Final final answer is Linda Lista. The correct answer we don't wake up for less than ten thousand dollars is no Christie trillingdon Linda event you got it right. That answer deserves a huzzah. Peter Jackson directed your answer. It was so long, but it worked out. You got the two points after that. Holy smokes um? Is this stressful? Mike?

I read Warren Peace twice waiting time. I studied harder for this than my sat put it that way, and that's why I'm in television today. That I tell you so great. This is wonderful. This is so fun. Uh. Speaking of fun, number six is a fun one in the Chumba Onemba one hit wonder tub thumping. That's a mouthful. The seemingly alcoholic protagonist has four different kinds of drinks. Can you name one of them? Nadine, whiskey. You take a whiskey drink? Whiskey is your answer?

Darren? What did you put for number six? Vodka drink. He took a whiskey drink, he took a vodka drink, he took a lagger drink, he took a cider drink. So it's whiskey, vodka, lagger and cider. You both get the two points because you got whiskey and whiskey and vodka. Do I get no after that last question? I can't. I can't in good conscience give you anymore. I'm I'm taking over and I'm putting it in. Oh my god. Yeah, Darren is now the judge as

well and the jury. Yes, all right. Number seven What sex toy? Got a boost in popularity after being featured in an episode of Sex in the City entitled The Turtle and the Hair. Darren the rabbit, Oh, the rabbit, Nadine, what did you put a rabbit? A rabbit? The correct answer is the rabbit? Four? Number seven, Holy smokes, it's coming down to these final two. Question Number eight, who hosted the Academy Stars? Gonna get it right? I have to give myself gold stars.

Yeah, give yourself a little gold stardom in our apartment physical bat Yeah, pat on the back. I want these these pieces of paper to be up on your refrigerators. We'll have a ceremonial burning of the product. Question after that, Yes, yeah, yeah, I can't talk about that sor sas the demons. Question number eight, who hosted the Academy Awards a whopping

six times during the nineteen nineties and eighteen. I wrote Billy Crystal because think about what Harry met Sally, think about like he was in every he was in, He was in every rom com. Billy Crystal excellent guest. That was one I definitely thought you guys would think of, Darren. What did you put? I was between Billy Crystal and Bob Hope, but I know

Bob Hope had ceremoniously like hosted them throughout the years. But the nineties you said specifically, So I did go with Billy Crystal, but just no, Bob Hope was also on my mind, but I don't Yeah, the way I was seeing to as Steve Martin, but I didn't write again, yeah, I think the great Bob Hope did a bunch yet, like in the fifties or sixties. The correct answer, it's not what be Goldberg, It's not Steve, not Joy Behar. It is Billy Crystal, Billy Crystal for

number eight, and then there was one holy smart one. What was the name of the colorful plastic storage containers for all your hair accessory stickers, POGs, jewelry, Tamagotchi, slap bracelet's, bubble tape, et cetera. From the nineteen nineties, Darren, what did you come up with? Did you have anything? My only I guess was trapp er Keeper, But I know that that's wrong, but it's only because that was a nineties thing. I had it in school. I had cogs, but I couldn't think of anything.

Okay, okay, you have trapper Keeper, Nadine, what did you put for number nine? You know when is the Tamagotchi inn That was the nineties? That was in the nineties. Yeah, it was a little like digital pet I remember that. I thought it was. I think it's nineties. It could have been later in the nineties. I mean, I wrote kibboodle, kiboodleoodles. I never even heard of that a kaboodle. The correct answer is a kibboodle or caboodle or those things where caboodles. We have a

final score. I held you with that last question, Babe. That puts you over the top. Yeah, we have Darren Darren Carp with thirty and a half points, which is a very impressive score, and we have Nadine Rajabi with thirty three and a half three points, so it was Nadine Rajabi with thirty three and a half points over Darren Carp's thirty and a half. The final throwdown, because it's time for Annie to come back here and bring us our final throwdown. Question. So it is time for the final throwdown. This is where Annie, our producer, comes back with our final throat on question. Nadine, you're gonna get first crack at a guess. We're gonna let Darren chime in here. I'll add my own two cents and we're gonna we're gonna

learn a little bit about the question and the answer. So Annie, if you're ready with the final throat down question, throw it up there. I'll read it to the world a couple of times. What is Africa's largest country? Is largest country? That's what I'm thinking. I'm pretty sure it's going to be as largest country in terms of area or size. What is Africa's large physical Yes, so population, you can talk it through um and again, Yeah, we can come up with our answers. However, we come

up with them and then yeah, do you know this answer? Like, are you playing with this, Mike? Yes, I can throw anyway. Remember when Mike got that fucking Julius Caesar question or it was like and I was like wrong, and I was like Abraham Lincoln in the car and then Julius I was like this, it's totally rigged. He's rigging it. He knows looks these answers up. Yeah, he's got glasses, he's eating snapple. Just trying to think of the geography of Yeah, yeah, I have

a few few guesses, but this is a tough question. There are there are a few very large countries, and there's also a country that was very large that kind of his two countries now, so that kind of makes it different. So I was going to bring that up, like Sudan now has South Sudan or Southern Sudan Answudan, so like that can't count. So I think that's not I don't think either of them is big enough anymore. So

yeah, I think that narrows it down a little bit. But there's a couple that are very large that I'm like, there's two or three that are still very big. Yeah, so very big. Yeah, I like. I like Algeria, I like the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Chad's pretty big, but I think it might be between those two. But that's like that's where alla. And then I thought Egypt. Yeah, Egypt, Libya is bigger than you think. Oh, Libya's might be bigger than Egypt.

I think a decent size, but they lost part of their things. Yeah, Errea broke off from Ethiopia. How big is Mozambique. Um, that's not very big. It's big, but it's but it's not as big as some of these other Yeah, Nigeria is most one of the most populous, just like South Africa and Nigeria with some of them. That's why I'm like, if it's if it's large, it's got to be sized, because she would have said most populous. So yeah, in which case I would have

probably said Nigeria. Think the Congo or I think you're right. I think yeah, I think Algeria or the Democratic Republic of the Congo. That's where I'm leaning. So we can kind of I'll say Libya just to be a little different, Okay, I'm gonna say I'm gonna say Algeria. Yeah, okay, I think you're right, but give you Nadine will say Algeria. I'll say the Democratic Republic of the Congo. And then we got Darren saying Lydia. I think we got our bases covered. I think I don't think

Chad is it. I think it's one of ours. So I think it's Algeria. But let's see what it is and let's learn about this country of Africa. Annie, take her away. Yeah, nine, Nadine gets it. Spain Algeria. Let's learn a little bit about Algeria. Two point four million kilometers roughly five times the size of Spain or five Spain's big. It's the tenth largest country in the world, so it's in the top ten. So Algeria is in the top ten largest countries in the world. Eighty percent

of Algeria is in the Saharan Desert. Their official language is Arabic, and Algiers is the capital. Holy smokes, we learned a little bit more about our northern African country of Algeria. Ladies, it was beyond a pleasure to hang out with you for here and play this game. We're so happy to give to the Innocence Project and the ACLU Drag Defense Fund again.
