Cool, cool, This is going to be great. It'll help you out though when I do some questions from yesteryear, like the you know, the seventies or the eighties, right, like ancient history? Oh my gosh, how would I know about that? That wasn't all right? Question number three,

Enzymes lipays which is spelled l I p A, se pepsin which is another enzyme pep s I N, as well as gastric acid. Where in the body would you find those things? this gen Zer over here? Why not? Quite? Gross gen Z, get out of here. No, I love gen Z. I don't want to be like the older you know, generations that always shit on the younger generation. I know, I agree with that. Wait that shit it's so dumb. It's so dumb, Like, gosh, they got it bad. It's so cliche of like yeah when you're younger, like yeah, parents, you just don't understand me. And then ship on the kids and you're like, what are you doing? What are you doing? I love gen Z.

Yeah, every single time. The colors are beautiful. Have you great movie? Do

you have other recommendations besides Encanto of movies you should watch? Like, was there things you've put on that you were like, this is? It was literally only in Conto it was that's all we watch. That's how we get swan songs. So I thought that was very interesting and I was like, yeah, because you guys had two fantastic guests guesses.

But it is a swan that is believed to make music as it dies. So that's how we get the adage a swan is fucking sad. I gotta tell you, yeah, it is, yeah, but I do, but I give them such such credit to be like, well before I go, Johnny fall, Yeah, so it is swan as inn swan song for number one, no harm oh. But there could also be other words beside the character names, and there doesn't just have to be a one and a blanket's or blank in a blank. It could be some stuff. We'll see as we get in this round what I'm talking about. But I will give you the year the movie came out and a brief synopsis. You just got to give me the title of that film. There are eight questions in the

Question number six of eight. This film came out in two thousand and one. Two thousand and one was the year. An English duke from eighteen seventy six played by Hugh Jackman is inadvertently dragged to modern day New York, where he falls for a plucky advertising executive played by Meg Ryan. I've not seen this movie, but I what I was just thinking, Wow, this might be something Maris said was really into. I would have had trouble like thinking of that. I have heard of it, but I never seen it.

But yeah, just reading that synopsis, I'm like, that is insane that someone pitched that and someone was like, yes, yes, screenlight again. For number six from two thousand and one, an English duke from eighteen seventy six played by Hugh Jackman inadvertently dragged to modern day New York, where he falls for a plucky advertising executive played by Meg Ryan. Oh yes, oh I think I know it, but I, oh my gosh, remember the names it's going to come to you? These are hard names. I

know the names are hard to write. They're like so we like, it's weird. They're not common names. Question number seven is from twenty twenty two, So a more recent film from twenty twenty two. After a particularly harsh winter, a man goes into a deep depression, completely isolated and with no one to talk to. After a particularly harsh winter, a man goes into a deep depression, completely isolating, with no one to talk to. He does what any sane person would do and face with such a melancholic situation, he builds a robot. It's him and this robot. I have no idea. If you're on the

streamers, you might see it when you're scrolling around. Oh all right, here it is question number eight, Question eight of eight in the pop culture grab bag, we're talking about movie titles, or movie titles with a pair of names inside of them, or movie title pairs, whatever you want to call it. But this movie came out in nineteen ninety one. Two best friends set out on an adventure, but it soon turns around to a terrifying

escape from being hunted by the police. These two girls escape for their crimes they committed. Heck ya a classic. This came out? You know this one. It came out in nineteen ninety one. Oh, we have watched friends. Two best friends set out on an adventure, but it soon turns around into a terrifying escape from being hunted by the police as these two girls escaped for their crimes they committed. Can I tell her? I'm going to tell her it's Tia and Tamara that movie. What couldn't they do? What

weren't they doing? They were constantly they got cast in everything? It was them? Were the Ulsen Twins? All right, pencils down, let's go over your answers for the pop culture grab bag today. It was movie titles with pairs of names inside of the title or title pairs. There were eight questions in the round. Question number one was from nineteen seventy one. Rich and obsessed with death, a young man finds himself changed forever when he meets

a lively septagenarian at a funeral. Counall, what did you get for number one? I got Harold and Maud. Harold and Maud Marissa, what did you put for number one? I also got Harold and Maud. Harold and Maud and Harold and Maud one of my favorite films of all time. It is Harold and Maud number one one for one. Question Number two was from twenty eighteen, as Scott Lane played by Paul Rudd, balance as being both

a superhero and a father. Hope van Dine played by Evangeline Lily, presents an urgent new mission that finds them fighting together to uncover secrets from their past. Marissa, what did you get for number two? Excited? This came to you late in the day, mad a loss. That answer deserves a huzzah ant Man and a wasper something Kunal, what did you watch number two? Well? The full movie title is ant Man and the Wasp. The lot foll Well accept I did. I was hoping you were gonna you were

gonna be that excited and say something like the Caterpillar or something. It would have been wonderful. I put down Bumblebee at first, like, no, that's Transformers. The Wasp came to you late in the game, but you nailed it. It is The ant Man and the Wasp for number two. Two for two two for two. All right. Question number three was from nineteen sixty nine in eighteen nineties Wyoming, when a train robbery goes wrong to outlaws find themselves on the run with a posse hard on their heels. After

considering their options, they escaped to South America. Kunal, what did you get for number three? Uh? If this is it, I think it was Butch Cassidy in The Sundance Kid. Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid. Marissa, what did you put for number three? I put absolutely nothing, nothing. I got nothing, I got nothing nothing. We are talking about Robert Redford and Paul Newman, Indy and The sun Dance Kid, another incredible film. I have a good story about Robert Redford. Do you want to

spill it right now? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, Okay. So my very first job here in LA was at a colorhouse in Santa Monica. It was and it still is. It's a twenty four hour facility and so sometimes like our shift started at three four in the morning, depending on like if we had people coming in from overseas or whatever. So it was this like a super super early shift. I was half asleep and directors, actors,

color color correction is basically the last step of any any project. And so there were famous people like all around, which got me real real used to like being around famous people who were just there to work and you know whatever. So like the star, I didn't get starstruck ever, and I'm like kind of not paying attention and cleaning up whatever, and I turn around and bump into the softest flannel over the most muscular, framed, solid body.

I bump into him and he catches me and it's fucking Robert Redford and he's just holding me because otherwise I would have fallen, you know. He's just holding me, and I was like, oh oh, I'm like, oh, I'm so sorry. And then I realized who it was and I was like, oh hi. He goes hello, is he just and he's still holding me and he goes hello, are you okay? And I go I am now? And then I remember and I was working and I was like, I'm can I can I help you? And he's like he's like,

I was just looking for the rest. Youant right over there had met cute, total meet cute, and I he was wearing he was doing jeans, cowboy boots and a red fucking flannel and it was the softest flannel. Oh my god, it was dreams. And that that was the most starstruck I had ever been in since I haven't I haven't been that starstruck since. That is incredible. That's good. That's a good, that's a good, like meet cute for sure. Also, that is like so Robert Redford to be

in that heroic moment in the right place. I know it was so very un brand for him, and that makes me even sadder that I didn't get. Yes, that deserves a splosh. He's disappointed in you. Yeah, sorry, Yeah. Question number four was from two thousand and four. A Korean American office worker and an Indian American stoner friend and bark on a quest to satisfy their desire for burgers. Marissa, Harold and Kumar go to what Castle? Harold and Kumar go to what Castle? Kunal, what did you

get? I had that same answer word for word, same answer word for word. It is Harold and Kumar go to white Castle. Question number five was from nineteen eighty six. The relationship between a bassist for a British punk group and his girlfriend is portrayed in this Alex Cox directed film Kunal. What did you get for number five? I took a small guest here and I went with Bob and Judy rock out with their cocks out. Yes, Bob and Judy rock out with their cocks out? Marissa, did you put the

same thing I did? Actually, did you have anything or that of one mind? No, we're talking about the band The Sex Pistols and Sid Vicious. It's Sid and Nancy. Sid and Nancy is that film from nineteen eighty six with a very young Gary Oldman in the role of Sid Vicious for number five. So you got Sid and Nancy at home? Give yourselves a point.

Question. Number six is from two thousand and one. An English duke from eighteen seventy six played by Hugh Jackman is inadvertently dragged to modern day New York, where he falls for a plucky advertising executive played by Meg Ryan. Speaking of meet cutes, did these weird names or this weird movie all? Marissa? First of all, I just want to point out that I love when female characters are described as lucky, lucky, hilarious, oh man, worky, lucky, working, lucky. Only women by the way, yeah,

I described that way. I just went the Duke and I. Ooh, that's good. The Duke and Hi, Kunal, what did you put it? So? I was feeling an H name or a V name, so I went with Henry and VICKI hit it off. Henry and VICKI do not have their cocks out, but they hit it off with these They hit it off. They hit it off. It's less sexy than that. The film was just called Kate and Leopold Kate and Leopold, and we would have got that. Yeah, never seen it. I don't know if I will,

but that synopsis is pretty great. Question number seven This was I thought the tough one, even though it's most recent, because it's kind of an indie film from twenty twenty two. After particularly harsh winter, A man goes into a deep depression, completely isolated and with no one to talk to. He does what any sane person would do when faced with such a melancholic situation. He builds a robot. Kunal, what do you got for number seven?

I went with another education guess on this one, and I put Castaway, but with Ai asked with Ai, Marissa, what did you put for number seven? Absolutely nothing? Mike, Yeah, this is a tough one. But it's called Brian and Charles. Brian and Charles is this sad sad guy and his robot. I almost went with Frank and Sam, so I would have been wrong anyway. I would have maybe given you like a sixteenth of a point just forgetting like two dudes names. Yeah. Question number eight

from nineteen ninety one. Two best friends set out on an adventure, but it soon turns around to a terrifying escape from being hunted by the police as these two girls escape for the crimes they committed. Marissa, what did you get from number eight? I didn't didn't come to you. You're gonna groan. I'll let I'll let kune. I'm to get you off the hook when you're going to groan. So here it comes, Canal let her know what it is? It is Thelma in Louis. Oh my god, it is

Selma and Louise and a young Brad Pitt. We young Brad Pitts, Gena Davis and Susan sar Randon. Forever. We have a scoreboard update at halftime it is Marissa Rivera with eight points in Conal with ten. It's ten to eight at halftime. We're playing with Marissa Rivera. You can follow her on social media at the Marissa Rivera. She's playing for Dogs Without Borders. And we're here with Kunal Dudeker. You can follow him on social media at Kunal

Underscore d and he's playing for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. We are through two of four. As we enter our third of four rounds today, it is the dreaded or Infamous round three, the lightning round. Lightning around now pound pound pound is right? Uh, Marissa, you are trailing, so

you can get you get to go first in the lightning round today. You can choose from these three categories that have nothing to do with the question nor the answers, but they're three of my favorite games to play on a game night. You got Yatzi Connect four or Jenga Yazi you're gonna do Djenga? All right, Mike, I think this might be a great Jenga question for you. Here we go. I'm gonna say it twice. I'm gonna say go, you're gonna have twenty second. Just say it. You're just gonna

say it. Don't spray it. As soon as I say go, You're gonna have twenty seconds. Just say as many answers as possible, canal write some stuff down? Some gonna come straight to you with your five second five seconds. Yeah, here is your Jenga lightning round question. Marissa, I want the top nine characters by number of episodes they appeared in for the great TV show Sex and the City. What did you get for number one? I think it's liberty mutual, liberty, liberty, liberty, liberty,

liberty mutual. You put for number one, Kunal, what did you get? They have the commercials that make the least sense. I was in one of them and it made absolutely no sense, absolute no sense. see Snoopy and the Met Life blimp for number two. Question number three, When someone uses the acronym AAPI, what does that stand for? Marissa? What I was going for is you have the Liberty, the Mets, the Islanders, the Giants, the Nets, the Rangers, the Red Bulls, and the Jets. These are all New York sports teams. They're all New York sports teams. So Marissa, you were very very close. You were very

very close baseball, but the Mets were in there. No Yank that's what got me the Mets, and I was like, well, it's the Mets, and I was like, well, maybe it's the Red Sox. Yeah, and like the Jets. This is where Annie, our producer, is gonna come back here and throw up a one off question. I'll read it to the world. The three of us can have a little powwow, little discussion, figure out some possible answers, and then Annie will reveal the answer and some fun facts. So Annie, if you're ready to rock and roll,

let's throw up the final throw down question. I'll read it to everybody a couple times. Which Swedish king was known for eating himself to death? Oh, my god, good god, Mastard, which Swedish king was known for eating himself to death. My goodness. That's the way to go. That's the way to go. That is the way. I am curious, like, what was the food he chose to kill himself with? You know,

I believe it was Stakhem's. I think it was Stakehem. I am like super into a history YouTube channel right now, so I've been consuming a lot of like European royal history, and this has not come up. I'll tell you what I remembered this. Yeah, this is something I hope I won't soon forget, because this is an incredible question. Which Swedish king was known for eating himself to death? I just rewatched the movie seven and it

reminded me of that for gluttony button that's force fed till he explodes. Which Swedish king? Now, when I'm thinking of Swedish king, I'm thinking of names like Olof and stuff like that, and Hagar and kind of Viking type names. I think Olof is maybe one of the only ones I know that was a king of Sweden, So I'd go with that, But you guys have any other Swedish type names that you can throw out? Ikea? Was

there a king? Ikea? The only famous Swedish person I know I think is Swedish Chef from the Muppet. Literally, I'm trying to think of Swedish names and all of her, and that's the sound he made. As he ate himself to death. But I would bet his last name is scars Guard, because there's six million stars guards around these parts, so many, and they're taking all the roles, and they're taking our jobs, these Swedish scars

Guards. All right, Annie, put us out of our misery. Let's learn about this king that ate himself to death, all right, doolf, it is King Adolph Frederick. Let's learn about King Adolph Frederick. While preparing for Fat Tuesday in seventeen seventy one, so it wasn't a bajillion years ago. Seventeen seventy one, King Frederick ate a meal consisting of caviar, lobsters, sauerkraut, herring, and champagne. The legend is that he was a

fan of selma, which is a kind of Swedish cinnamon bun. He is said to have consumed fourteen helpings of or semla, not selma semla i dyslexia semla, which is a kind of Swedish cinnamon bun. He had fourteen helpings of those, and his official death was ruled from digestive problems, but there is some speculation if he was poisoned. Oh my God, King Adolph Frederick. Take it easy, I mean with those sticky buns. Yeah, after fourteen cinnamon buns, I think the mystery is solved. My friend, you

exploded, You ate yourself to death. You too. It was so great hanging with you, so happy to give to those charities and just yeah, congratulations on all the stuff you're doing. And yeah, I can't wait to hang in real life and wish you nothing but the best the rest of this year. Thank you, Thanks, thank you for having us.
