There are eight
questions in the general knowledge around here is question number one. How many striped balls? How many striped balls are there in a game of pocket billiards. You've been told to rack them a time or two in your days? How many doctor? Yeah? How many striped balls? The striped ones, yeah, not the solids? How many striped balls are there in a game of pocket billiards for a question, no moro, no? Are we ready for number two? Yeah? Okay. Question number two is a movie question from
the film Being John Aalkovich. Can you name the actors that portrayed the main couple Craig and Lottie Schwartz? A very interesting and cool movie Being John Malkovich. Can you name the actors that portrayed the main couple Craig and Lotty Schwartz. Of course John Malkovich was in it, Catherine Keener and some other people, but named that main couple the actors for question number two? All right, here we go. Question number three, moving right along, what famous
mail service? Mail service operated for only eighteen months back in the early eighteen sixties. I found that interesting. What famous male service operated for only eighteen months in the early eighteen sixties? For question number three, it's on the tip of my tol. I know it. I knew it like yesterday.
Speaking of music, we're up to a music question for number four. Who's nineteen ninety eight debut solo album contain the hit songs do Wop that Thing, Everything is Everything, every Ghetto, every City, and a cover of the Frankie Valley in the Four Seasons song Can't Take My Eyes off of You, huge album that year. Name the artist that had that album back in nineteen
ninety eight. I will repeat it. Question number four. Who's nineteen ninety eight debut solo album contained the hit songs do Wop in parentheses, that thing, the song Everything Is Everything, the song every Ghetto, Every City, and a cover of the Frankie Valley in the four season song Can't Take My Eyes off of You. Name the artist for number four? All right? Number five, don't think this is in your wheelhouse. You both made it abundantly clear, but I had to throw one in there. This is a
geography question, but I think you got this one. What is the capital of the South American country of Argentina? What is the capital city of Argentina, the Great Country of Argentina for number five? All right? Question number six maybe my favorite question in the bunch. Question number six goes like this. In the novel by Roal Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, name either of the first two characters from the book to find a Wonka Golden Ticket.
Name either of the first two kids that find a Wonka Golden ticket from the book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. For question number six, the golden fleece was the fleece or pelt from Chrysomolus, which was what type of animal? What type of animal did the golden fleece come from? That Jason and the Argonauts, and I think Medea got involved and they stole it from
so and so again, I'll repeat that question for number seven. In Greek mythology, the golden fleece was the fleece from Chrysomolis, which was what type of animal? For number seven, the fleet what type of animal was the fleece or what type of animal did they have to overcome? The fleece that everyone's vying for came from? What animal? It was like shorn from what?
And here we are. We have arrived at the final question in round one, you're general knowledge round question number eight, a deviated septum occurs in what part of the human body? Did any of you suffer from a deviated septum? I think that's oh my gosh. Yeah, I think I hope you get this right. Yeah, imagine I'm convinced that I that I've got it all right. Yeah, I'm just going to run all these questions past my doctor. Yeah you well, especially that first, first and last one,
number one and number eight. Yeah, call the doc, Call the doc. Pencils down, will go over your answers in just a quick second. But it's time to meet our tremendous guests. All the way from the mean streets of Staten Island, New York. You've seen this cat all over the place. He played Stuart Bloom and I believe eighty four episodes of the Big Bang Theory. He's been in a bunch of movies, Burn after reading and one of my favorites, wet hot American Summer. My good pal Kevin
Sussman is here. Hello, pa, pal pal. You can follow mister Sussman on social media. He's on Instagram at keV Susman. That's keV Sussman on Instagram. keV. What charity are you playing for today? The ASPCA, Yeah, Yes, an organization that it's about animal cruelty. They try to prevent animal cruelty and rescue animals. And that's an organization that's dear to my heart. Having been rescued from a puppy mill myself, and you do have a fuzzy little buddy. These days. Don't you name Larry. We
love animals, so win or lose, mister Kevin Sussman. We are happy to make a donation in your name to the aspc A. But now it's time to meet your former roommate and competitor today. This guy also East Coast, born in Queens, New York. He just found that out, folks, breaking news. He was born in Queens Long Island. Thought it was Long Island forever, but you grew up in One of my favorite words to say, Piscataway. Piscataway, New Jersey is fantastic. It's filled with stock
closives. Ye. He's a co creator the show Robbie with Rory Scovell and Scott Moran, and he's been working on this children's musical comedy podcast that I love. It's called The Peepkins. My good pal Stuart Jenkins is here today. Hi. Yes, yes, yes. You can follow mister Jenkins on Instagram at Stu Stu Jenkins on the Gram Stu, what charity are you playing for today? I'm playing for the the Oh Jeeus. Do you know what
you're doing here? It is no, I'm playing for the I always just get the name of the place confused, and I want to make sure I get it right. I'm playing for the Downstrea Syndrome Association of Los Angeles and it's the super cool place. They give you up to date information about Down syndrome. The advocate on behalf of individuals at both the local and national levels. They train medical professionals, and they promote opportunities to take an active part
in their communities. And they act like a and this is a super cool thing. They act like a lifeline to parents of children with Down syndrome. That is gorgeous. Again, We're happy win or lose to make a donation in your name to the Down Syndrome Association of Los angle as well. Folks you know are players, you know what great causes they're playing for. But now it's time to get back to the game. Get down to brass taxing. Go over our answers for the very first round of general Knowledge, Round
eight questions. Question one like this, how many striped balls are there in a game of pocket billiards? Kevin, what did you get for number one? This was an unfair question because this question assumes that I've been to like a pool table and a bar and having never been on any kind of date or any reason to ever visit a bar. I feel that this is an unfair question. That being said, I have seen people playpool in movies and
TV, and therefore my answer is five, five striped balls. My doctor hasn't gotten back to me to confirm, but I'm still going with five striped balls. I've striped balls a great guest, Stuart, do you agree with that? Or did you go your own way for question number one? Okay, great, I went my own way on the striped balls, and I said eight. I'm absolutely convinced this is the correct answer. All right, Well we talked about this before. Whoever's closer. I'm going to give a
half point because I can't give half pint points out. You guys were close, but not close enough. You weren't right. I'm the dot. There are fifteen balls when you rack them up in the little triangle thing when you rack up for a thing, and there are you know, eight solid balls because the eight ball is a black ball, So that leaves seven seven striped balls in pocket billiards. So I'm gonna give a half point to Stewart. He was one off one off, so I'll give you a half point,
so it's a half point to zero. It's anyone's game after one. But I think we'll get everyone off the schneid with this second question. Question number two from the film being John Malcovich, can you name the actors that portrayed the main couple, Craig and Lottie Schwartz stew Well, I love the movie, haven't seen it in years. I'd like to see it again. I've seen it a few times, not that there's any of this members who cares. Many times I've seen this, I don't care nobody. John Cusack and
I actually can't remember the name. I know the person and she's amazing. I just as usual, the name slips my mind. Okay, John Cusack and blank Kevin, what did you put for number two? I am losing my mind here because I thought that this is, you know, your subconscious man. I thought I was being cute and funny by putting John Cusack. But is that the fact that that's what Stu said makes me think? Is
that right? Because I thought I had no recollection of this movie? But yeah, I put John Cusack and John Cusack awesome, you know what? Feeling generous today? So I'm going to give you both a half point for John Cusack is in wait. I had done Sack twice, but the other one was not John Cusack, even though I get what you're going for because he shows up in different different ways. But his better half was played by Cameron Diaz. Cameron Diaz was in that his wife and they made her look
different than she normally looked back. But yeah, it was John Cusack and Cameron Diaz as Craig and Lottie Schwartz. I'll give you half point, so it's one to a half points. Was in the lead one to what half question number three? What famous male service operated for only eighteen months in the early eighteen sixties, mister Sussman. Uh, before it was called Federal Express. It was called Federal long time. No, I'm kidding, that's a joke. I have an actual answer. What is it? The Pony Express?
A pony Express with a big question on the end of that sentence, Gray Stuart, what did you put? I'm going to say that it is the Pony Express. Ooh, we have a question and we have a statement. Statement circle gets the square. You are correct, it is the Pony Express, which I was surprised you I was only around for that short Yeah, going from like Missouri all the way to California. Right, I just
listened to a thing about this. That's why at first I was so disappointed when it didn't just pop like right away about it was just a bad business move. Yeah, you both nailed it for question number three. Number four
was your music question. Who's nineteen ninety eight debut solo album contained the hit songs doo Wop and then parentheses that thing everything is everything, every ghetto, every city, and it covered the Frankie Valley in the four season song Can't Take My Eyes off of You, Stuart, The answer is the Three Wonders, the Three Wonders, Wonders, the Three Wonders, Kevin, what did you put the beast Boys? Beastie Boys, can't give it to you.
She was part of a group before she went solo. It was the Miseducation of Miss Lauren Hill. Lauren Hill was that great album from nineteen ninety eight and that when we were roommates. That was a big album for us. That was me. I know it's a great album, but yeah, sometimes you forget what the songs were actually called. If the melody you would know it right away. But that was the incredible album. I know all the
yeah songs, but names, yeah, for sure, Lauren Hill. But that's also when you think about it, you're like, oh, yeah, that was twenty five years ago. Twenty five Holy smokes, crazy, crazy, all right. Question number five your world geography question for the general knowledge round. What is the capital of Argentina? Kevin, Santiago, Santiago, Stu, what did you put? I am thinking still thinking, uh, you know, I'm I I'm going to take a pass on that. I'm
not going to venture. I guess Kevin's in the right neck of the Nape. Santiago is the capital of Chile, its neighbor, which is a great guess, but the capital of a Cantina, which you guys won't soon forget. Two words Buenos, that cosmopolitan, cool city down south Buenos Irace. For number five. Question number six. In the novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, name either of the first two characters that find a Wonka Golden ticket,
Stewart, what'd you get for number six? I'm going to go and I don't know if it's right, but I'm going to go with vukas Sault and Violet, and I can't remember Violet's last name named ruk As Salt and Violet, Kevin, what did you put? I didn't really have an answer. I put the spoiled kid, and I wasn't even confident about that. I'm going to give Stu the point because it was either or you didn't need them both, but one of them. The first one we forget the hefty
kid from Germany, Augustus Gloop. Augustus Gloop is number one. He finds it first, Augustus Gloop who falls in the Chocolate River. And the second one is the spoiled Brat Veruca Salt. It was varukaslt Kevin. You were right on it with Spoiled Brat. But I have to give the point to Stu forgetting Veraruka Salt. Great band too from the nineties Rukasalt. Question number seven. In Greek mythology, the Golden fleece was a fleece from Chrysomolis,
which was what type of animal? Kevin, puppy? No, imagine, that's that's your Greek tragedy right there there. It is. No I'm going to say, and again we're talking the fleece itself, what animal the what carcass. Fleece is from ram, a ram. Stuart, what did you put for number seven? I went with sheep sheep. I'll give Stu a half point. keV, you get the full point. It's a ram, which is a male a male sheep. But yeah, a lot of fractions. We're doing a lot of fractions today. You guys are doing great.
This is good stuff. It is a ram. Chrysomlis was the ram that the fleece is from. And then finally question of right a deviated set them occurs in what part of the human body? Stew It's the nose. It's the no Kevin, what did you put? I put nasal, canal, boom. Both of you are getting it. It's the nose. It's in your sinuses. Yeah, it's when one of your sinuses gets kind of pushed to one side and it's smaller than the other. Yeah, it is the
nose. For question number eight, Oh, look at these fractional scores. After one a very heated general knowledge round. We have Kevin Stuffsman with three and a half points and Stu Jenkins in the lead with four and a half. It's four and a half to three and a half after one awesome. So yes, it is four and a half to three and a half after one. Stu's in the lead over Kevin as we enter round two, which is our pop culture grab Bag. Round two pop Culture grab Bag Today,
it's going to be a category Name that actress. For each question, I'm going to give you three movie titles. You have to name the actress that was in all three of those famous film elms. Again, those movies are Burlesque Mermaids and Mask. For question number one,
name that actress. Let's move right along to question number two. Crazy Rich Asians, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and everything everywhere all at once. Name the actress that was in those three films Again, Crazy Rich Asians, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and everything everywhere all at once for question number two. Moving right along to question number three, Shakespeare in Love. That
could be a bunch of people, Skyfall and Philimena. Name that actress Shakespeare in Love, Skyfall and Philimena. Name the actress for question number three, all right, here we go. Question four. For number six, and then there were two there were two. Question seven, the films are the Faculty, Wild Wild West and Freda. Question number seven the Faculty, Wild Wild West and Freda. had to name the actress that was in these films. Question number one was Burlesque with Christina Aguilera, Mermaids and Mask. Stu start us off this time? What did you get for number one? I'm gonna say share? Share, Great guest, Kevin, what did you put for number one? I also, and by the way, I already know, having lived with Stu for years, that he will beat me this round by one. Share, Share and share it is the incredible share for number Share and Shaa like Sharon
Shera like fifty to fifty Sharon Shara like. I think you're wrong, keV. I think I think I've made I've had some issues. I've made some mistakes here, I've made some poor decisions in my life. Question number two Crazy Rich Asians, Crouching Tiger, Hidden dragon and everything everywhere all at once
named that actress, Kevin. You know, so frustrating because I can't remember the actress's name, and I just yesterday was having a discussion about her because she's in a trailer for something new and I can't remember what that movie is, and I can't remember who she is. But I know who you're talking about. I know you're talking about. You can see your face, Stuart, can you help out our dear friend? You know I at the same it's on the same token. Yeah, it's I love her. She is
amazing, and it's a name thing. I just have. I just yeah, I'm not great with names in life and to me too, never forget a face. But no, I forget faces. I'm not good with names or faces. I'm great with faces. The actress we were looking for is the sensational Michelle Yo. Michelle Yo, is your answer for number two? Question number three? We're up to question number three. Your movies were Shakespeare in Love, Skyfall, and Philomena. Stuart, what did you get for
number three? Yeah? Again, I know the person. This is where this I'm failing right now. This is a problem. I know the person. She is amazing. I can say if I have the right person that she's been having. She's older and she has issues seeing right now, so she she says she's I think she's retiring right She's having trouble seeing. And I love the movie Filhemina. That's a great movie with Steve Coogan. If it was reversed and it was, the answer would have been Steve Coogan.
I still would have forgotten. You would have forgotten him if I would have asked you about him exactly, it would have been the same thing. It's yes, pressure, Kevin, What did you put for number three? Helen Mirrem Helen Mirren? Great guess in that same kind of like stratosphere of incredibleness. But it is a dame Dame Judy Dan. Yeah, she played the new what is it em? And the James Bond films instead of q M was I to my kid? Ali? Is it Helen Mirren or Helen Miren
with an N at the end? Mirrn? Is she in any of the James Bond movies? Probably? Probably we'll have any look up, like has she done any of the you should be Kevin, would you put for number four? I have no idea. I haven't seen any of those movies except The Whiz. When you were TiVo my whole life is is pre TVO and postevo. That's a good reference. I haven't heard TiVo said out loud in a while. Stu, what did you put for number four? I put Diana Ross, Diana Raw. The correct answer is Diana Ross. Oh,
lady sings the Blues. I think is her portrayal of Billie Holliday. And then Mahogany. There was a big hit song that came out of that title song for Mahogany. And then of course, yeah, she played Dorothy in The Wiz. Question number five closer Beautiful Girls when she was very young and Leon the Professional when she was even younger. Stu, what did you put for number five? I mean, it's getting ridiculous, but I know who this person is and she is great too. She's also great, but I
can't remember her name, and I think of it. It's like it's swimming in there in the back of my mind. I have found your guys's kryptonite. I didn't know. This is the first time we're trying this out, and I think for some people they're like, oh, I got this, but yeah, this is tough. This is like me with like song titles or lyrics, I am not I don't remember any of it that's in the
same family. I'm bad with that too. Like my favorite it could be the Beatles and I'll just be singing all like, you know, yeah, you know all the words of the song. You're like, what's the title that song? You're like, I know, I don't know. Kevin, what'd you put for number five? Natalie Portman? Oh? Is that it?
Stu? That is it? Stu? It's Natalie Portman. Natalie Partner was in Closer, Beautiful Girls and Leon The Professional, Number six, Tootsie, Mister Mom and Young Frankenstein, Kevin Uh, Terry Garr, Terry Gar Great Actress, Stu. What did you put for number six? Terry Garr? Terry Garr one of my favorites of all time. I've had a crush on her for about fifty years. Terry Garr for No. Great in those movies. She's incredible. One of my faves. Ye, Terry gar for
numbers six? Question number seven the Faculty, Wow, Wow West and Freeda Stu. I, Oh, damn it. I don't know. I know who I know, I know, but I don't know, it's yeah, you know, but you don't know, Kevin, what did you put? The messed up thing is I've worked with this person, oh my goodness, and I remember I can't remember her name. And it's not because it's I get her confused with Penelope Cruise for some reason, but it's not Penelope Cruise.
But to this person, who it is, I'm pretty sure was a producer on Ugly Betty and appeared in Ugly Betty too, I think if I'm not mistaken, but it's like on the tip of my tongue, mm hmm. I have shame. I feel shame, palpable shame for not remembering. And she's like in something now and she was. She was in The Fantastic Yeah, she was in the Black Yeah played Freedom. Her name that you guys are drowning in is selma hyak alma hayek almahyek. That deserves a splooshe
Right. She was a producer on Ugly Betty, right, yep, Yeah, and you're admitting that on the podcast waves. Yeah. So it is halftime. Stu is in the lead eight and a half uh to Kevin's seventh and a half. We are playing with Kevin Sussman. You can follow him on social media at keV Sussman on Instagram. He's playing for the A s p C A and look for him in a new show on Apple Plus that's
coming out in October called Lessons in Chemistry. We're also playing with Stuart Jenkins and you can follow him on social media at Stu Jenkins on the Instagram. He's playing for the Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles and he check him out. He co created the show Robbie with Roy Scovell and Scott Moran. And check out the Peepkins Podcast which is on all the platforms Anna Paris and Malik Ponchali and great voice cast for the Peepkins. Yeah they're great. Yeah,
a lot of amazing people, beautiful. Yeah, So check out all that stuff from these two lovely jents. But it's time to get back to the game and enter round three, which is always the lightning round. Round three, the lightning round, keV. You are trailing by one mere point, so you get to go first, and you can choose from these three different headings today or categories. They have nothing to do with the question nor the answers, but you can choose from these numerical bands three dog Night, four
non Blondes or the Jackson five. Name your poison for your Lightning Round question, three dog Night, three dog Night. I didn't even know what that means. The great band three dog Night. Yeah, I don't know any Is this gonna be a music thing? No, it has nothing to do with the question nor the answers. But we'll have Annie look up. What is a three dog night. There's got to be a reason why they named themselves that. But great band, great band from the seventies. Eli's coming
and just an old fashioned love song. All right. So I'm gonna say your question twice, Kevin, I'm gonna say go. I'm gonna hit the button on my little timer here. You're gonna have twenty seconds to give me as many answers as possible. Stewart, sit and maybe write some answers down, because I'm going to come to you with your five second rebuttal right after Kevin's done, to see if you can steal some answers from him. Okay,
Kevin Sussman, here is your three dog Night Lightning Round question. What I want to know from you is the top nine Seinfeld characters with the most words spoken on the show. So I just need the character names from the show Seinfeld The top nine Seinfeld characters with the most words spoken on the show twenty seconds on the clock, and go George, Jerry, Putty, Puddy, Stop, I'll give you Kramer. I'll give you a Kramer, Paul, put you out of your misery and give you So you got three.
You got George, Jerry, and Kramer. They're all in the top four. Your chance to steal some st your five second rebuttal. Top nine Seinfeld characters the most word spoken on the show. Five second rebuttal and a go, Yeah, I got Jerry, George, Elaine, Kramer, Newman, George Steinbrenner and stop stop you stole two. You got Elaine and Newman. Those were You got the top five, you guys. Luckily the mail carrier got the top five. Then it got a little tougher because there was a
bunch of like kind of ancillary characters throughout the show. But it was a lot of the parents. So Frank Costanzo was number six. Morty and Helen Seinfeld, the parents of Jerry, were seven and eight, and then Peterman. Peterman, Elaine's boss, Uh played by John Hurley or what his name was. Peterman was number nine, but you guys got the top five, which is very great. They're all waying more. I don't know where I land on. I skipped over all of them, went straight to George Steinbrenner.
I love it. Steinbrenner is though he is he is in like the top twelve or something, so like, that's a good guess. Okay. I think George's girlfriend Susan Steinbrenner. And there's like a couple other people that were right there after these top times. So Stu, it's your chance. It's your turn in the barrel. Oh before we get to that, Annie found out what a three dog night is. It's a night so bitterly cold you need three dogs to stay warm. So a three dog night it's a
cold night, so you need three pooches to stay warm. I like that. We love the dogs, we love the animals we're giving to the ASPCA. It all makes sense. Stu, it's your chance to pick a different question for your Lightning round. You could choose either four non blondes or the Jackson five for your question. Let's go. I mean they're not music related, right, so let's go four non blondes. Four non blonds of the Jackson five question was kind of a food question that'll just go into the hopper
for a future game. Here is your four non blonds question. I'll repeat it twice. I'll say, go, I'll hit the button. I'll have twenty seconds to give me as many answers as possible. Kevin, maybe jot some answers down to see if you can steal some answers. I'm going to come to you with your rebuttal straight away. Here we go, four non blondes. I need the top nine US states with the most libraries. Kind of a strange question. Top nine US states with the most public libraries.
Twenty seconds on the clock and a go. I'm gonna say California, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Nevada, and stop. Yeah got four, you got four, You got the top three. You got California, New York, and Texas, and you got number seven Pennsylvania. So you got four. Excellent job, your chance to steal some answers, mister Sussman, your five second rebuttal, Top nine US states with the most libraries, five seconds on the clock and ago, Massachusetts, Florida, Washington, Illinois.
Stop. You got two you stole to. You got Illinois and Florida the ones we didn't get to. You guys did great in that one. We got six out of nine. Number five was Ohio. Ohio has a bunch of libraries. Its neighbor to the north, Michigan was number six, and surprisingly number eight, kind of a smaller state, Iowa. Iowa's in the top nine. You guys crushed the lightning. That was excellent, and we have a scoreboard update after three rounds Kevin Sussman with twelve and a half points,
Stu Jenkins fourteen and a half. It's a two point game after three. All right, it is a two point game. As we enter our fourth and final round between YouTube gents, it is our Theodore Double Duty Radcliffe Round Round four. The Double Duty. We call it the Double Duty because points are doubled and there are nine questions instead of eight, so there are eighteen very large points up for grabs today. Your category, I'm dubbing it
our solar system. So how I'll explain this is that the Sun and then the eight planets in our solar system will show up in the questions in this round. You'll just have to come up with the answer I'm looking for in this our solar system double duty radcliff round. I think everyone will be on the trolley. After a couple questions, here we go question number one of nine. You guys are separated by only two points, so one question between
you two. Here's question number one. Son Sue wrote a famous Chinese military treatise titled what Son Sue? That's spelled? Sun Tzu wrote a very famous Chinese military treatise titled what For question number one, You'll see it at a Barnes and Noble on a table of books. You should read for question number one, but won't. Yeah, Question number two, what is the element Mercury's nickname? That is also the title of a nineteen eighty six Kevin Bacon

All right, here we go Question number three of nine. Question number three, and what famous museum would you find the armless Venus de Milo. The Venus de Milo, that famous statue. That big red spot that you see on Jupiter, which is a huge crazy storm. Is it growing or is it actually shrinking? For question number yeh, All right,
three questions left. It all comes down to these three questions between Stuart Jenkins and Kevin Sussman. Question number seven, an atom or molecule with a net electrical charge shares a name with a Saturn compact car that they manufactured from three to seven, as well as a TV channel formerly known as Packs TV. I'll repeat that weird question again. Some of these I had to stretch.
This one I had to stretch the most, I think Question number seven, an atom or molecule with a net electrical charge shares a name with a Saturn compact car from three to seven, as well as a TV channel formerly known as pac TV. All right, back to it. We're down to our final two questions here in the double duty Radcliffe Round. The category is our solar system. We're up to our favorite and your favorite Uranus. Question
number eight. The moons of Uranus are named after characters from the works of Alexander Pope and what other very famous poet playwright. The moons of Uranus are named after characters from the works of Alexander Pope and what other famous poet and playwright. For number eight, All right, here we go Question number nine,
the final question between Stu Jenkins and Kevin Sussman. The Neptunes were a hip hop and R and B production duo that formed in the early nineties I think out of Virginia with members Chad Hugo and what famous thirteen time Grammy winner. They were in the producing duo The Neptunes and the guy I'm looking for also went on to be part of a group called n E R D Nerd Neptune's a nerd? Who is that thirteen time Grammy winner that was part of
the Neptunes? For question number nine, pencils down, It's time to go over our answers in the double duty Radcliffe round. Today's category was our solar system. The Sun and all of our planets show up in the questions of all these questions, these nine questions, and let's see how we did. It's a two point game. Stu is in the lead Question number one, Son Sue wrote a famous Chinese military treatise titled what Kevin Treatise? That's how
you pronounce that, I think so treaty. Never, definitely, it was one of those words. I've only ever read the Art of War the Art of War for Kevin Susman Stewart. What did you put for number one? I also have the Art of War? The correct answer is Son sues the Art of War two points a piece. The score stays the same two points that you casually introduced that you've been writing everything on a paper plate. Yeah, I saw it earlier. I saw, I saw it. Stu is
our first contestant to ever write his answers on a paper plate. I hope it's not the last. SATs as well, both sides. Yeah, he never used a scantron, always a paper plate. Question number two, what is the element Mercury's nickname? That is also, weirdly enough, the title of a nineteen eighty six Kevin Bacon Bike Messenger movie. Stu, I don't know, I don't know. Good good movie, Kevin. What did you put quicksilver? Quicksilver? That's a good guess because the correct answer is quick
silver. That is Mercury's nickname because of its speed and agility as an element. But yeah, it was also a Kevin Bacon loses it all as like a stock guy or something and then gets a job as a bike messenger Quicksilver. That answer deserves a huzza for number two. Now, the reason why this was confusing is because there's another movie called Breaking Away, Yes, one of my favorite films, and Annie and Maza alma Mater Indiana University Breaking Away
takes place. Is that Indiana University? The bike also, but that's also about cycling, right, yep, yep. Question number three getting a little artsy in what museum would you find the armless Venus de Milo? Kevin, I wish that I was going second. Are we even allowed to change our answers? If we are going second, I'll allow it right now. But whatever you go with now has got a stick. But I'm going first. Yeah, what are you going to? No, we can't switch up the
thing. But if you wanted to change your answer, that's what I was going for right now. I wrote down down two things. Pick one of them. I mean the country I'm going to go, the oh God, the okay, the love it's going with the louver. Stewart, what are you putting? For number three? I also had two things, and I have to decide if I say the same or different. I'm gonna go with I'm also I'm going to go with the louver. Calculated decision, going with
the louver. RCT answer the armless Venus de Milo is in the louver. The louver number three two points a piece. God, that was that was pivotal. Yeah, that was tough because they could be all right, go ahead, s all right, here's here's the fun one. Question number four and the Earth, Wind and Fire song September. The opening lyrics asked, do you remember the blank night in September? What night are they talking about? Stew eighth the eighth in September? Kevin, what did you put?
Wait? What did you just say? Did you say eight or three? I swhich one do you want? I put eight? His first answer, I took I took the eighth night in September? Kevin, what did you put? I put three? Whoa? And interestingly, I all my second choice would be the eighth. Whoa. The truth is, I really have no idea, but I put three, So have eight and three. I will sing the lyric to reveal your answer. Do you remember the twenty first
night in September twenty first it's twenty first night. Now, we'll never forget when you hear that song, that's going to be a highlight now, Like, yes, of course it's the twenty first night in September. That's one. I've heard that song a million times and that's a tough question. Question number five, spiking up the twenty first night in September. Yeah, it's coming up. Question number five. Spike Lee portrayed the character every date,
every date. It's coming up soon. January Fourth's coming up pretty soon. You don't know, yeah, Question number five. Spike Lee portrayed the character Mars Blackman in What Early Spike Lee Joint, as well in commercials for what shoe brand? Kevin, I wanna change my answer? Do it jungle fever? Okay? Did you have a shoe brand? What? Did you have a shoe brand that Mars Blackman was also a spokesperson for showed up in This is like a double answer. It was like, if you do either,
or I'll give you the point. How about that if you get one or the other? Ah Uh, wait a minute. You have never had dual aneurysms on You should Know Better be a podcast from our contestants. Uh, Nike, that was glorious. Stu, what did you put for question number five? I'm going to say she's got to have it, and then I'm going to say Nike. All right, So we have Jungle Fever and Nike and she's got to have it and Nike. Kevin's going to get one point
and Kevin and Stu's getting two. It was She's got to have it. Is the early Spike Lee joint that Mars Blackman shows up in. And then of course with Michael Jordan, it's got to be the shoes money. He was always with mj for air Jordan's and Nike. So Nike and she's got to have it. For question number five, so Kevin gets one point, Stu gets big two points. All right, Kevin needs some help here. Here we go. Question number six is Jupiter's Great Red Spot, which is
the largest storm in our solar system getting bigger or smaller? Stewart, I'm going to say bigger, bigger, Kevin, what did you put? Bigger, bigger? The correct answer as that storm is getting small, it's slowly shrinking. Some other storms are coming by and taking kind of the outer bands of it, and and it's not it's going to be around for a while.
I didn't know that it's already been around. At least someone spotted it in the sixteen hundreds, so it's been around for hundreds and hundreds, probably thousands of years already. But it's getting smaller, but it's not going to disappear. Like in the next five minutes, h question number seven, which was the weird the weird one. This is the stretch to come up to
fit this category. An atom or molecule with a net electrical charge shares a name with a Saturn compact car from three to seven, as well as a TV channel formerly known as packs TV. Kevin, what did you get for number seven? I wrote down two? Don't like either of them. Proton proton great. Guess, Stuart, what did you put? I had? I it's blank. I didn't even I got nothing in my mind. I got nothing, no harm, no foul. The correct answer is an ion
ion packs Ion. Was that like weird check you'd get in the mail for a commercial, But yeah, there was the Saturn ion car and yeah, a atam or molecule with a net electrical charge is called an ion. All right, question number eight? The moons of Uranus or Uranus are named after characters from the works of Alexander Pope and what other famous playwright slash poet stu.
This is a tough one and the answer is I don't know. I will say Robert Frost and there oh, oh, there's another Robert who I should know because he was a great playwright and a poet, and I can't remember his name, so it's useless for anybody here. It's going to go with Robert Frost. Robert Frost. Kevin, what did you put for number eight? Did this need to be someone named Robert? No? No, okay, just got Robert Shakespeare. Will Bill, good old Bill Shakespeare.
Yeah, some of the moons of Uranus are named Ariel and Oberon and stuff like that, so it is Bill Shakespeare. Two huge points for Kevin h comes down to this your favorite The Neptunes. The Neptunes or a hip hop and R and B production duo that formed in the early nineteen nineties in Virginia, I believe, with members Chad Hugo. Oh and what's more famous thirteen time Grammy winner I gave you the clue that he also went on to be part of the group N E R D. Can you name that person?
Kevin? What did you get for number nine? I nothing? Have I got nothing? I got nothing? Folks got nothing? Folks dou did you venture? I guess it's the name issue that I'm having. I know in my I can I know the person, but I don't, and I feel like the name starts with a pH and I can't finish the right just hit the mic. I can't finish the rest of the name. It's oh my gosh, we got nothing and we got pH balance. We need to take
my vitamins. Yep, we have pH and we have nothing. So but su Stu, you are onto something because the correct answer is Furrell William Burrell, Yeah, all those songs for everybody else and then has a great solo career as well. But he's won thirteen Grammys. Was Pharrell Williams. We are tabulating our final scores right now, ho Lee cow unbelievable. We have Stuart Jenkins with twenty point five twenty and a half points and Kevin Sussman with
twenty one and a half points. Kevin Sussman, my goodness, grabbing victory from the jaws of defeat with a comeback, another comeback on you should know better by one stinkin' point, well played forgotten. I give it up for that very I can't believe how close that was. That was crazily close. One of our closest games ever, and I think it ball boils down to your eleventh hour, last minute. Very dainty, nike get I gave you a point for that was the difference. God, that was that was That

Yes, it was what a hell of a game. But we're not done yet. We are ready for our final throwdown. The final throw down. This is where Annie the producer is going to come back. She's going to give us a one off question. Kevin, you're gonna get first crack at a guess. We'll let Stewart
venture a guess as well. I'll throw in some ideas, and then we're all going to learn a little something something about this question and its answers. So Annie, if you are at the ready, please unveil the final throwdown question. I will read it to the masses a couple of times. Here it is, which, oh wow, dinosaur lady, And that's in quotes.
Which dinosaur lady was nearly forgotten for her early paleontology work. So it's a woman known as the dinosaur Lady was nearly forgotten for her early paleontology work. I prefer her earlier, funnier. I like her early work. Uh uh dinosaur lady. Okay, yeah, this is a this is a this is an interesting question. Which dinosaur Lady was nearly forgotten for her Uh?
Paleontology work. We did a question recently that was the woman I think her last name was Richmond, who like kind of helped discover the double helix of DNA, but it went to two dudes, Watson and krit got like all the credit, and only now is the woman finally getting her her fair share of the credit for like finding DNA. And this is probably another one of those where male dominated field that was like, she's not allowed to get any credit. Missus Jones Jones, yes, wife, yes, miss I like
that. Missus Dana Jones, Stu, do you have anything? I got nothing, nothing, nothing. The only thing that popped into my head and this, this is I this is almost like a little inside baseball from being in the Midwest. There's a museum in Chicago called the Field Museum and they have one of the biggest t rex uh skeletons on the planet and it's named Sue. And I was always like, why did they name it Sue?
And that just popped into my head of reading this question. Maybe they named it after this woman that you know, didn't get her just you know, just desserts. So I'm gonna go with Sue. I don't know what her last name is we have miss missus Indiana Jones. We have no clue, and then we have a boy named Sue or a girl named Sue. So Annie, put us out of our misery and let's learn a little bit about this wonderful woman. Hey, here we go, let's learn something new.
Her name is Mary Anning. That's spelled A N N I N Anning. Let's learn about it. I do that every Christmas. I go Mary Anning. There it is. She was born in Lyme, Regis, England, which was known as the Jurassic Coast. They've found a lot of stuff over on the Jurassic Coast there in England. She discovered the first ichthiosaurus say that one time slow, and the first complete pterodactyl Jesus. Mary sold what she found so her work was credited by rich Men Gross. Today her discoveries are
featured in the National History Museum of London. So it's another awesome brit Mary Anning. I won't soon forget Mary Anning. We should know that name, gentlemen. What a pleasure to see her faces and have a good time for a little bit here. We're happy to make those donations in your name and cannot wait to hang out in real life and see you guys.
