We will go over our answers in just a second, but it's time to meet our tremendous guests all the way from Piermont, New York. Holy cow. You know her from the Wendy's campaign. She's one of the main stars of the Wendy's campaign. She's also on a couple seasons of Mister Iglesias and Where'd You Go,
Bernadette, that movie with Cate Blanchette. My dear Union sister, Catherine Feenie is here. Hey, thanks Mike Nelson. Oh my gosh, it's so great to have you here. You can follow Katherine on social media at Katherine dot Feenie on Instagram. Catherine, what charity are you playing for? Today? So? I'm playing for Loyola Law School's Project for the Innocent. I actually attended Loyala Law School, and fun fact, I am a licensed attorney myself now, license in the state of New York. I don't practice.
I'm an actor, but while I was in law school I became very passionate about the idea of you know, people who have been wrongfully convicted, and Loyola's Project for the Innocent is very active. It's the only wrongful conviction clinic dedicated to Los Angeles County. So basically, it's a clinic for students who work to get people who have been wrongfully convicted, people who are imprisoned
who should not be imprisoned out of prison. Many of these people have been in prison for decades, so it's really you know, when you start to learn about it, it's obviously very very up setting, but this is a wonderful clinic, and I think it's very important for students to have this experience because then they become litigators who now are aware of the issues with pseudoscience that leads along wrongful convictions, and so it'll be hopefully a better future when we
have attorneys who are more aware of this and also very important to get people who've been wrongfully convicted out of that position. So yeah, that's what I'm playing for it or sure, you're happy to make a donation in your name to the Loyal LA Law Schools Project for the Innocent, Win or Lose.
Now it's time to meet your opponent from Littleton, Colorado. She wrote for one of my favorite shows ever, The Last Man on Earth, and is now the co executive producer of one of my new favorite shows with a bunch of people we know from Ghosts on CBS. Watch that show. My new friend Kira Kalush is here today. I You can follow Kira on social media. She's at Kalushi with a Y on Instagram. She's not really on X, but I'll give it anyways. It's at Kira Kalush on X. Kira,
what charity are you playing for today? I am playing for Moms First. It is an organization that was founded by Reshma Sujohnny, and they're really great because they not only are campaigning in the governmental sector for like paid leave and childcare and support for families and moms in particular, but they also like partner with individual companies to help create plans that can further support working, working
parents and working moms. And beyond that, they also like have all these different initiatives and programs that help kind of culturally reframe the way that we look at parenthood and the way that we value parenthood and just how how that can and change and UH just just in our in our daily lives. Because I'm a working mom. It's something I'm really proud of. And I really feel
like it's something that makes me better at my job. And like being a parent makes me better at my job, and being at my job makes me a better parent. And so I feel like those are things that we kind of don't talk about. And and and not only that, it's like if we if we support parents, you know, it also helps like the economically, so you know, it's it's one of those things that it's it's kind of thinking about all the different areas of that. And and so I really
like this charity beautiful. Well yeah, yeah, let's let's have a better and more sustainable work life balance everybody. That will help the kids out, it'll help the parents out, it'll put more money in the economy. Huh. That seems like a win win win. Mike Nelton gets it. Well, we're happy to make a donation to Mom's first Win or Lose. You know the two wonderful women that are on the show today, you know what great charities they're playing for. But it's time to get back to the game.

So there's still a few on the board there, Catherine, your five second rebuttal to try and steal some answers the last nine flotus's first names five seconds and Ago Jill Milania. I want to say Anne, stop like the caveat. I want to say, Anne, there's probably Stella in there somewhere. Probably what a fun first lady, Still you stole to you stole Jill and Milania the last two. Then we got to kick it back old school. We had Nancy Reagan,
Rosalind Rosalind Carter, who just recently passed the great Roses Carter. And then Elizabeth or Betty Ford, Betty Ford. That's who I was trying to go for because I was thinking about Betty Ford Clinic. But I was like Barbara, Barbara, Barbara Ford Clinic. You never know. Combined, you did excellent in the mister snuffle Up, I guess category. But now it's your turn in the barrel. Catherine. You could choose either Big Bird or Oscar
the Grouch for your Lightning Round question. I gotta go Oscar the Grouch. Oscicker the Grouch. All right, great question, here it comes. I'm gonna say it twice twenty seconds. Give me as many answers, Kira writes, some answers now, because I'm gonna come to you with your five second bottle straight away. So here's your Oscar the Grouch Lightning Round question. Per
Collider, what are the top nine reality TV shows of all times? During the website they were like, these are the best ones we've ever seen. So per Collider, what are the top nine reality TV shows of all time? Twenty seconds on the Clock and a Go, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Survivor, Big Brother, American Idol? Does that count Housewives? Perhaps some version of a housewife and maybe one of those vander Pump shows bander Pum's rules. How long is twenty second? You did great? You got four.
You got number one Survivor, Number three was Big Brother, Number five was American Idol, and number six was The Bachelor and or Bachelorette. So you got those four, so there's still some up for grabs. There's still five on the big board. Per Collider, what are the top nine reality TV shows of all time? Five Seconds, Kira and Go, Cops, Love Island, Stop You didn't Steal Them? I think Cops has had the longest run. When I was doing research, it was not for like call
thirty five years, but it didn't make their top nine. The ones we did, let's go over the ones we didn't get to. Number two was the Amazing race That's won like a billion Emmys with Survivor of the Amazing Race, number four, Rue Paul's Drag, number four, Number seven Designers Make It Work, Project Run Honestly sod Show. Yeah so great. It's on Netflix right now. Number eight The Real World when things stop being polite and get real The Real World on MTV. And then number nine Pack Up Your
Knives on Top Chef. Top Chef was in their top nine as well. Well, they're good one, super fun. That was a really fun lightning round. We have a scoreboard update after three. We have Kira with ten and a half points and Catherine still in the lead with seventeen. It's seventeen to ten and a half. I knew this was gonna happen coming. You don't go up against like a lawyer and no brilliant human. It's fine, but you're the most brilliant human of them all, is the thing. Oh
Katie, You're so sweet. I love you. I miss Kira so much. I'm so happy that when I'm getting to see her face for this time. That's great. I love it. Yeah. Well, this is a great game because it's not a runaway, because we got the double duty coming up. Points are doubled, things could change. I could draw a picture that's gonna blow you all away. It could happen. It is seventeen to ten and a half as we enter our fourth and final round between these two
wonderful ladies. Round four, the Double Duty. It's the Double Duty Radcliffe Round. We call it the Double Duty because points are doubled and there are nine big questions, so there are eighteen very important points that are up for grabs. Let's see if Kira can stage a massive comeback or will Catherine be the champ. We shall see the Double Duty. Today we're doing a music round and we're kind of doing a round about popular songs or popular karaoke songs
and their lyrics. These are all songs you've heard a bunch of times, I would think, So let's get into it this musical karaoke round in the Double Duty. Here is question number one of nine. What Prince song begins with the little preamble, Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life. They do that little preamble before the music starts kicking in. What is that famous Prince song that begins with the preamble,
Daily Beloved? It's got a nice echo on it. Daily Beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life. Name that Prince song for number one? All right? Question number two? In the song Sweet Caroline? And what two seasons are mentioned by mister Neil Diamond. I've heard this song Sweet Caroline? What two seasons are mentioned in the lyrics of
Sweet Caroline? Made most famous by Neil Diamond? And if you've ever been to a Boston Red Sox game in the eighth inning, they always sing this song. But you at least got a chance with this one, though, like Toyota than is not? Is that the kind of season we're talking about? Tota and Happy Honda days? Is that that's how season? Okay? All right, here we go, Question number three in the Double Duty. The Country Music Awards gave this Garth Brooks song off his album No Fences the
Single of the Year back in nineteen ninety. Again, this is a song you hear a lot on karaoke nights. The Country Music Awards gave this Garth Brooks song off his album No Fences the Single of the Year back in nineteen ninety. Name that song by Garth Brooks for number three. All right, it's getting very quiet, which it often does in the fourth and final round. He's very We're getting so serious. My god, it's such a close game. That's what it is. It's you know, it is. Anything
can happen. Anything can happen, especially with question number four. Question number four, who gave us this karaoke jam? This is how we do it? Who gave us that hit song? This is how we do it. Name the singer or artist that gave us that song. For question number four, this is how we do it. This is how we do it. It's Friday night. Do they say their name in the song? Yeah? If we just keep going, will they say go be like and we are?
Yeah? All right, I think we got this one. Question number five goes like this, you can dance, you can gibe, Having the time of your life is a lyric from what popular seventies tune? Name the song question number five, You can dance, you can jibe having the time of your life is a lyric from what popular seventies tune? For question number five, this is appropriate for us, Mike Nelson, Okay, this is like a key moment in our friendship. So we got it. Okay,
Okay, I like this question a lot. Question number six. The band The Outfield had a huge hit in the nineteen eighties with their song Your Love. That's the one that's like, I don't want to use your love tonight or I don't want to lose your love tonight is the chorus, but the first line of the song mentions Josie. Where is she? Where is Josie? In that song by The Outfield from the nineteen eighties, it's the very first line you hear of that song, I don't want to lose your love
tonight. Yeah, yeah, it's I don't wanna Yeah, I just want to use your love, which is a weird line, or I don't want to lose your love. Yeah. One is problematic and one is fine. Yeah, you want to use my love? What a what a weird? Come on? How do you expect to have anyone date you? So again? For question number six, the band The Outfield had a huge hit the nineteen eighties with their song Your Love. The first line of the song mentions
Josie where is she? I'll be very lenient on this one for number six. Where is she? Yeah? Or what is she doing? What is she up to? Where is she? Going, Where is she? What is she doing? Those things will be very lenient, but it's the first line of the song. Yeah, all right. Question number seven, Name the singer and the song title with the following lyric. So I put my hands up. They're playing my song the Butterflies fly Away. Again for number
seven, name the singer and the song title with the following lyric. So I put my hands up, they're playing my song the Butterflies fly Away. Name it. This came out like when we were born. Probably, yeah, this was a year I was born. Yeah, right, right, right, consistent, consistent, you're sticking with it. I got it. But I was very into music that year, so I do know it. Very formative songs in your first year of life, all right, Question number
eight super current. Beyonce has a new country song that is verse actually everywhere, and shares the name with a popular version of poker. Name that song that is Seriously, it's at your grocery store, It's on the TV every two second. Everyone's using it on their tiktoks and their instagrams. Beyonce has a new country song that is virtually everywhere and shares the name with a popular version of Poker name that song for number eight, and we have arrived at
your final question between you two. It's question number nine and the Double Duty. About a decade ago, what singer belted out the Disney anthem let it go? God, I've got a two and a half year old. Oh great? Question number nine About a decade ago, what singer belted out that Disney anthem that hypnotized every child let it go? Name the singer of that song for number nine. I can't believe that was a decade ago. Yeah, honestly shocked. Yeah, I think it was, yeah, like twenty
fourteen, twenty fifteen, something around there. Okay, pencils down. Let us go over our answers for round four, which is our Theodore Double Duty Radcliff round today in the Double Duty, we're kind of popular karaoke songs and their lyrics. Let's go over our answers. Question number one. What Prince song begins with the preamble Daily Beloved, we gathered here today to get through this thing called life. Catherine, did it come to you? For number
one? I hope it's Purple Rain. Otherwise my aunt Mary Jane is going to be so disappointed in me. Purple Rain. Great, anthem, Kira, what did you put? I also put purple Rain, but I think your aunt Mary Jane is not going to I think it's something else. Oh what is it, Mike Nelson? Anything else? Purple Rain is the anthem, but it does not have this preamble. This preamble is the start because the music starts kicking in. You start hearing the drum beat. How does
he go? And Let's go crazy? Let's crazy? Yeah, Let's go crazy. As the song, it starts off with Daily Beloved out of a tricky question, but it is Let's Go Crazy and not Purple Rain for number one, no harm no fall. Question number two. In the song Sweet Caroline, what two seasons are mentioned? Kira h spring and summer, spring and summer? Cat What did you put? I also put spring and summer yep, and then spring became the summer. It is spring and summer for
Sweet Caroline. Neil Diamond for number two you nailed it two big points apiece question number three. The Cmas gave this Garth Brooks song off his album No Fences the single of the Year back in nineteen ninety. This is how we do it? Kira? Did you come up with something for number four? I wrote a classic Kira answer Bobby Hay Now, Bobby Hey, Now, I might start using that for when I don't know. I'm just gonna put in Bobby Hay Now. Catherine, what did you put for
number four? I put that band with Mark Wahlberg. Oh yeah, does anyone Mark? Mark and the Funky Bunch? Sure was it that this gentleman's name was Montell Jordan montel joj Okay. I wouldn't have come up with that, but I do know that name. This is how I do it, by Montel Jordan. Question number five, you can dance you can give having the time of your life as a lyric from what popular seventies tune? Catherine dancing queen, dancing Queen, Kira, what did you put dancing queen?
Abba and abba? We got the dancing queens. It is dancing queen for number five? Number six maybe my favorite question of the bunch. The band The Outfield had a huge hit back in the nineteen eighties with their song Your Love that had that chorus, I don't want to lose your love tonight. The first line of the song, though, mentions a Josie where is she? What is Josie doing? Kira? What did you come up with for number six? I said Josie was a barkeepersbee. Yeah, that answer deserves
a huzza. Holy ship. Josie was a barkeeper's bff. What did you put for number six? I think this is right, or at least it's right in my world. He goes, Josie's on a vacation far away. Well, that's really good. Jo's either on a vacation far away, Josie's a barkeeper. What was it? A bar keepers? Be goddamn? Also, she could be both. She couldn't be limiting her. But the line, in fact, the first line of that Outfield song is Josie's on a
vacation farah away nice came around and talk it over. So I'm going to give one point. I didn't talk it Yeah, it's a weird lyric. I look when I saw the second line, I was like, I don't remember that being the second lyric, but I think it's like, come around and talk it over. I'm like, is he getting all of his guy
friends together to be like, guys, my girlfriend's gone. Yeah, I'm going to give I'm going to give one point for Kira just because of you know that that the Montel Jordan answer and the barkeep get You're getting one point, Catherine, you're getting two full points for pulling that out. For number six, it is Josie's on a Vacation far Away. Question number seven, name the singer and the song title with the following lyrics. So I put
my hands up. They're playing my song the Butterflies fly Away, Catherine. Miley Cyrus Party in the USA. Miley Cyrus and the song party in the USA. Kira, what did you put Miley Cyrus Party in the USA? It is, in fact, Miley Cyrus's anthem party in the us A. For number seven, Question number eight, Beyonce has a new country song that is virtually everywhere and shares the name of the popular version of Poe Girl. Name it Kira Texas hold him, Texas hold them? Catherine, what did
you put Texas hold them? It is that kick ass, very catchy tune hold them. This ain't Texas who for number eight? It is Texas hold them? And then finally question of a nine about a decade ago, what singer belted out the Disney anthem let it go? Catherine? My girl Adina Menzel. I don't know her, but I wish you was my girl, Kira, what did you put Katie's girl Adina Menzel aka Alsa Barndell yeap or aka if you're John Travolta at the Oscar the wickedly talented Ndel desime? Yes,
what the Travolta? What are you doing? I forgot about that? Yeah, still never forget about that. The correct answer was, in fact, Adina Menzel, that's saying let it go. So we're tabulating our scores here it is we have Kira Kalush with twenty three and a half big points, Katherine Feenie with twenty nine points twenty nine twenty three and a half. Ghosts, ladies. What a wonderful time. But the game is not over. It's time for the final throwdown, the final throwdown. This is where Annie Roberts are wonderful producers, coming back with a one off question. I'll read it to the world.
We can have our little discussion and then Annie will reveal the answer and we'll learn a little something before we call it quit. So Annie, without further ado, here comes your final throwdown question. What is the only mammal capable of sustained flight? What is the only mammal capable of sustained flight? A couple things jump out right away. What do you guys think? I'll let you guys, Oh you want me to start us? What's jumping out at
you right well? Sustained flight I think is the word there, because you have like flying squirrels that have those like you know, things between their arms and legs. But they're kind of blighters. But if I'm if I'm not mistaken, a bat is a mammal and they have sustained I feel like They're like, that could be true, but that's the one thing I potted in my head. I'm like, bats are mammals and they have wings, and they seem to be able to fly around caves and stuff and like sustained flight.
But other than that, I'm like, I'm kind of drawing a blank. Do you guys have any other ideas a mammal capable of sustained flight? Like little? Does anyone know a rhino can can while a little? No, they can't. I can't fly at all. I was believing you You're very like, oh my god, yeah, I don't know. I guess. I guess that truly. That popped in my head, but I was like, that's not sustained, let's be honest. Yeah, I don't know. Know. They just like are upside down and fly and that's kind of
it neat, But you know what the blood right? Have you ever seen the have you ever seen the video of when they like bats are upside down, but then they flip it around. They flip the video around and they're like bats When you flip that upside down, they look like a bunch of like goth people at a at a Yeah, super funny. Yeah, it's so good. All right, I think we're going to just go bat. I think we're going to go back, but we're going to learn something something
about sustained flight for mammals. So Annie, put us out of our misery. Let's find out what the hell we're talking about here, Yes, nailed it. It is the bat. So let's let's talk about the bat here. Bats wings are like webbed hands. They row through the air. They can fly for speeds of up to sixty miles an hour. That's crazy. Mistaken for rodents. They are most more closely related to primates. That's oh my god. Interesting. I thought that primates. So we're related to bats.
Wow. Wow, this is kind of an incredible thing too. Their lifespan lasts between twenty and thirty years. That's insane. That seems kind of uncrair when you think about like the short lives of cats and dogs that we love so much. They get to live around on start adopting bats. Yeah, let's domesticate bats are really cute. Have you ever seen the ones like eating a banana? They're so cute, it's very cute. Yeah. Well, yeah, that way our hearts won't get broken as often, not as
often. Yeah, and then finally, they are intelligent, gentle creatures that have driven concert patient efforts to help save them. Oh my god, it's beautiful. We love the bats. We love the bats. They can sustain flight, and they are mammals. Well, ladies, it was a pleasure to have you on the podcast. I look forward to seeing your works on the TV.
